This store has made a lot of improvements over the last 6 months and Im appreciative of their efforts. They stayed open during the deep freeze and we are also appreciative of that. Im not a huge fan of Walmart I general but I do like the quick in and out component of this neighborhood store.

I like the WM Neighborhood Market so much better than the Supercenter! For the most part, no screaming kids and scooter back up beeping. Its small but offers the same low prices as the big WM. The only thing Im not happy about is being forced to scan and check out your own merchandise. I dont get paid to check out my own food!! Does this mean people lost their jobs because we are now doing them? 🤔

All self-checkout now which I am really not a fan of. I hate seeing all self-checkouts as they take jobs away from people that need them. The new front lay out is not very customer friendly. I will not be back.

Very convenient neighborhood store, clean and well organized.

Baby milk was scaned but not put inside of my bag very inconvenient to go all the way back to Walmart to pick up the milk. when I arrived there I had to wait about 20 minutes before they gave me the milk. All they had to do was whoever filled my order watch them on camera they would have seen that they did not place the milk inside of the bag all that should have taken every bit of five minutes because I called before I came but they decided to start working on the problem when I got there instead of working on the issue before I arrived because it was already inconveniencing me

Went there to buy an electric knife. Couldnt believe they didnt have one. They werent out, they dont carry them. I thought Walmart sold everything. The assistant manager was gracious enough to help me look which i did appreciate. Guess Ill order one from Amazon. I needed one other item from the deli which they didnt have either. Their deli was a shambles. Hardly anything behind the counter, and no one behind the counter to help. I walked out empty handed. Do better Walmart.

It was wonderful I was in electric chair and the young lady at the checkout helped me with checking my groceries. I wish Id remember her name because she did a great job and helping me.

Pick up order! Called ahead because I was never updated. Spoke to associate, she said it will be ready by 11am. I sat in the pick up space for an hour waiting for my order. Several associates came by and told me it would be right out! Terrible location to do pick up!!!!Update: The manager on duty was extremely rude and saw nothing wrong with the situation! The employee who finally brought out my order apologized for the wait and the managers attitude. I purposely didnt ask for his name. I figured he would get gripped at.

We have always used walmart even for groceries. We loved Walmart. Not sure we will use with only self check any longer. Just not sure. We are in our sixties and now cant find anything since the stores have been rearranged.

Was happy with the market for the last couple years, clean and normally stocked with what I needed. Recently nope, not happy with service, how they have rearranged the store....selection has been getting smaller. If I need a stable item....I may pop in our just drive a little further to the bigger Walmart.

Easy shopping. Plenty of inventory and always fresh selections. Love the remodel!

This place looks very new, has self serve paying machines & fresh food when walking in.

Great location for this type of Walmart but the hours personally kind of suck and they have always been that way since even before covid or coronavirus was ever a factor. Other than that its real clean and somewhere easy to navigate for pretty much anything you want to buy in a grocery store.

Everytime I go there, they are out of several items I want. They are the closest grocery store but this is annoying. Aisles have been rearranged and are not labeled well enough to know what is on each aisle. Prices and produce are decent. Selection is not good and, as I said, they are frequently out of items they normally carry. For example there were at least 10 rows of spices that were empty today.

I go to this location mainly for the bank. In the past the customer service at this Wal Mart was not too great. They have worked on this issue over time. Its getting better but still needs improved. They still have workers including managers that just sit there like they dont like being there and are just buying time.

Currently being remodeled, and its going to be fantastic! Great variety: For example, I had a choice of brands of milk from grass-fed cows! The check-out area is huge, and several people were working there.

This location has been convenient but after the remodel and everything in the store being moved to places that have no rhyme or reason they no longer have cashiers except for the customer service lane. I do not work for Walmart and will not scan and ring my own things and have to wait for assistance to make my purchase. This is how they put people out of work.

I always have missing items when I have pick up orders... wont use the pick up service again... frustrating 😠

Firstly, there wasn’t necessary to remove all item from one spots to others spot because there is no benefits of that a lot of people used to it and they can find everything easily now the costumers need more digging to find what they are looking for because the items are not in old spots. The most biggest issue is they removed all cashier counter and installed all self checkups but if you have full cart of grocery then this will be a headache to check it all of your items and also 1/10 people not speak English and they will be waiting longer and they can’t help themselves. I will suggest them at least install two line cashiers counters back for the people with full grocery carts or leak of speaking English.

The neighborhood market is great! They always have the things I need plus they do money services as well. Also if you want to do your groceries and banking. There is a First National First Convenience Bank inside the Walmart Neighborhood Market!

Update: this place hasnt gotten any better since my last review... it actually has gotten worse. Posting pics of shelves with many empty spots for products and the shopping cart area completely empty except for two carts meant to carry babies and small children. GO TO THE WALMART IN BENBROOK!The reason for just two stars is due to the fact this store is grossly under-staffed! Most times that Ive gone shopping at this location Ive had to wait in long lines because only one resister is open. If you only have a few items to purchase you could use the self check-out registers but unlike other Walmart locations, this particular one sometimes doesnt have an employee assisting. So if you have an issue or are purchasing beer or wine, you have to wait for an employee to come over. I have had a few experiences in which I had to hunt down an employee to assist.

They use to have 3 to 4 checkers to check you out. Now it all self-checkout. Hey, when you work all day I dont want to self-check my groceries. Think about it we have to go in figure out what we are buying, now self-check and then go home and put it up. It sucks. This use to be my favorite Walmart but wont be going back.

Great curbside pickup for groceries! Always so friendly and always on time. Ive never had to wait for my groceries and sometimes theyre waiting for me as I drive up.

I am so grateful to have the Vickery Wal-Mart. Ive been shopping here from the day that they opened. Granted its not Whole Foods or Central Market but its WAL-MART. Nobody is forced to shop there. The employees have been so kind and helpful. Pam actually picked me up when I was walking to get my Jeep from the mechanic. It was a mile away but she insisted. And Im a runner. The staff in the Pharmacy are friendly, professional and fast. I get my Flu shot there too.Anyone thats worked in customer service understands that its not a bed of roses. Cut the staff a break.

I just admire the cleanliness and the politeness that am greeted with when I go to the store . When I cannot find what am looking for the employees take the time to either show me or they go and get it. For me. Am a regular customer and goes just about everyday. During this pandemic they are concerned about their customer. I just love the welcome to Walmart and after I leave they say Thank you for visiting Walmart and have a good day. Very comfortable at this store in the neighborhood.

I dont recommend buying more than 5 items here, there are no more cashiers. The whole checkout is all self checkout, absolutely ridicoules.

We have been using the curbside pickup for close to a year and it has been great. Today we got home and discovered an item was missing. Called and the clerk I spoke with said it was there. When I arrived the manager met me outside and apologized for the inconvenience. Mistakes happen and it is how you deal with the mistakes that count. This store went above and beyond!

This store has a variety of good fresh produce

They are redoing the Store, we high is bad enough, but many of the shelves are vacant and some are not being restocked. Was told it should be finished in 15 weeks.

Stopped there for SO dairy free Salted Caramel icecream. Yum!

My fiancé was in line for self checkout, and a cashier said he would bring him over to lane 3 to check him out. My fiancé walked over and put his groceries on the lane, and the cashier doesn’t say a single word and walks away. My fiancé stood there for 5 min with no word while the line disappears that he was originally waiting for. Of course, he’s confused and walks to the manager to ask if he’s coming back and the manager (Indian man, didn’t get his name) told him to just get back into a random line. Already both the cashier is unprofessional and the manger isn’t putting any care or effort into the customer, so my fiancé asks the manager to speak to the employee because of him being out of line. A nearby customer threatens him physically because he asked the manger to talk to the employee, who in my mind was unprofessional, lazy, rude, and essentially wasting space as an employee, and it all happened because of the lack of care of the employee and manger. I simply find this inexcusable for a worker. And hope something is done about this. The cashiers name was kareda, couldn’t exactly remember but it started with a K and was a black man. The employees are normally great, but these two were just inexcusable

Great place for grocery shopping. The selection is smaller than the Supercenter stores but you can get your food and get out quickly.

Its convenient if you only need to spend money on groceries. I dont have to go to a supercenter where I get overwhelmed, end up buying dumb things I dont need. Decently clean. Not too crowded. The cashiers are actually really nice. Im glad its there.

They have no cashiers working I dont get paid to bag my owne groceries that takes me to long I will not return to that Walmart unless they get employees working the registers willing to drive my self further just to get cashiers

I specifically like this location because its small, and convenient. The employees are always nice and friendly, and when you ask for help they dont just tell you where to go they actually take you to it unlike the bigger Walmarts some of them just tell you lol. Its always in and out never a long wait even on its busiest days.

The slowest location for grocery pickup. No point in selecting to let them know I’m in my way or check in. Still a 10-15 minute wait. Nobody else was here picking up. I was literally the only one in the spots.

Wonderful Walmart to have in the neighborhood. Depends on what time of day you go there was one time I had route service but I think it was just an oblivious worker that didnt know how to talk to people. Then again Im 5-3 and I needed somebody to reach something on the top shelf and a worker was very helpful and doing that for me because he was so tall

Dont like that its all self checkouts now and dont like the new setup.

Its a pretty nice place, good employees. But we had to return since we forgot one of our bags with three cans of mushroom cream, two cans of cranberry sauce and some wine. It was only about 20 or 30 minutes and our items had already been returned to shelves even though they were paid for. Id understand if it was a cold perishable good. They also said we only had two cans, so we had a loss of one can even though they were all together in one bag, it was on the receipt with the wine right next to all the cans so youd think they were bagged together. So good luck with the Walmart employees counting your forgotten items correctly if you forget a few bags. And have fun getting everything back from the shelves again

Limited selection. Clean store. Lots of clearance/short-dated items on a Sunday.

Great selection of produce and food products considering the diverse clientele from surrounding neighborhoods. Love the self checkout, but dont mind waiting a few extra minutes in line when needed. Generally pleasant staff that are helpful and know the store well. A deli, bakery, pharmacy, bank, atm, and a gas station make it location hard to beat.

The curb side/ drive up service is great ! Everytime I go I am waiting less than 2 minutes. Rosa who I think is a manger or supervisor is on top of her game. As well as the employees who have assisted with drive up. Giving 4 stars since I havent been inside yet.

Store employees are kind, welcoming, and very helpful. They have a decent selection of products, the produce is always fresh, clean, stocked well. The pastry department has an excellent selection of sweets for that sweet tooth binge. Gas prices are decent, but better discounts with the Walmart card. Lastly, they have the best deals on Marlboro Cigarettes compared all other locations within the same distance from me and they always have multiple pack deals.

After getting home with my groceries I discovered no rotisserie chicken! I must have left it with my friendly cashier,’Kiara! I called the store and costumer service encouraged me to bring my receipt and get another one! We did! Thank you Walmart market for treating the crazy costumers right! This store never disappoints. Ive shopped here since they have opened. This place started nice and has declined in everything since. Ill admit, the last year I have seen some improvements, but not much. Good luck getting timely service at the service desk. Also, watch the expiration date on the items you buy. I have arrived home so many times and found that some items had expired. Ive gotten pretty good at checking them now. I find things expired all the time. Ill give it to an associate and tell them its expired and Ill get a look like what do you want me to do with it?. So besides the convenience of living down the street, I would not shop here myself. Walmart, get this place under control and Ill give a better review. I dont want any freebies, fix this store.

This Walmart does not seem to be adhering to the corporate pandemic guidelines. Went there during senior hour on Tuesday morning and noticed a lot of young people there. No one was at the door checking ID to make sure the customers were all over 60. No cleaning supplies at the front for cleaning carts. Employees not wearing masks. Cleaning supply aisle still has not been restocked two months later.

Mask protocols are not followed; employee have their masks down or not covering their nose. Also they are letting people enter the store without masks and cough almost in front of them.
