Just bought the 2nd Solar Observer radio for my personal use. It arrived quickly, C Crane should either raise the price or make it more clear that you do not get the CC Solar Observer 5V AC Adapter with the purchase, because it seems difficult to use the radios capabilities without this, accessory. I had to order the CC Solar Observer 5V AC Adapter after the radio had arrived and we read the directions -- but my inlaws probably didnt have the CC Solar Observer 5V AC Adapter and therefor couldnt follow the instructions on properly prepping the solar/crank and rechargable battery pack which is one of the critical reasons to have this awesome radio. One previous purchase of the same Solar Observer radio was for my in laws who weathered Hurricane Sandy and some other extreme weather that left them without power for an extended time and they did use this radio and the flashlight features to get them and their neighbors through. My own Mom has one of C Cranes world band radios (she loves it) which is the next purchase my husband and I plan from C Crane.

Amazing customer service and support. I ordered a CC Vector RV long range wifi repeater in order to get my home wifi into my RV. It is a beautiful system, came with all the hardware simple and quick instructions and assembly requirements for anybody with little common sense. Setup took just a few minutes. Now, I did have a stability issue where the system would disconnect and reconnect after about 10 minutes. I called their 800 number, got customer support who didnt try to talk down to me. Gave me benefit of doubt everything was setup per instructions. Then after hearing how the system worked sent me an Alfa network adapter that simply plugged into the antenna USB then to my wifi router. It was exactly what was needed. My internet is as good now as it is in my home. Thank you guys so much. Highly recommend this product especially with their fantastic customer support. - John

This company demonstrates how customer service used to be in this country. I sent an email on a Saturday asking a question about my C. Crane Wifi radio. Not only did I receive an email response within two hours, I also received a land line call from a very articulate customer service rep (Deanna T.) who wanted to make sure I understood the solution. If other companies would take lessons on customer service from C. Crane, what a better place this would be!

Bought a new CCrane radio and it no longer functioned after about 8 to 10 hours of use. Had radio for about 2 months. Contacted the company for the warranty and they said that they didnt have replacement parts and i was on my own. Seller wouldnt take it back......these appear to be Chinese junk radios....to only last this long. Now im faced with repair charges through a 3rd party or being out a few hundred bucks!
