This place is great. Watch out for the parking, if it says reserved you have to move to where it isnt reserved, but theres parking across the street. The staff is kind, and the food is delicious! Theres a lot of options from baked goods to lunch items. If you come visit I recommend coming here for breakfast! Their bakery items are fresh and so so so yummy.

This is a great, non-chain family coffee house that opened up in the Saxonville Mills. The Columbian coffee is fantastic, the pastries are fresh and fantastic and the atmosphere is warm, friendly and inviting. The coffee choices are as varied as Starbucks or any high end coffee house. I love supporting a local business instead of a chain for a change. Reminds me of the Old Coffee Connection from years gone by.

Handy local establishment at which to grab a strong black coffee. The old industrial environment of the mills makes for an interesting spacious shop.Especially convenient if you happen to walking through Saxonville.

On my first visit I tried the Quiche Lorraine (delicious), the beef empanada (made with shredded beef instead of ground beef and the dough was excellent), an almond croissant that was heavenly, and an iced caramel latte (ask for sweetener if you need it, I had to add my own because it wasnt sweet). The atmosphere is industrial and hip. A lady walked in with her golden Retriever which I got to pet as it was very friendly. Im new to Framingham and I love love love this place! When I thought of supporting a local coffee shop, this is exactly what I had in mind.

Thought Id try a new coffee shop this weekend and Saxonville was on my list of local places to hit. Parking is somewhat limited (the lot has a lot of reserved spots) but there is additional parking across the street.Inside the location is beautiful with tons of natural light and plentiful seating. When I arrived there was no line and I was served quickly. My iced latte was okay, but would probably return as a study spot and to try some of the delicious-looking baked goods. I would also like to try their regular coffee. Prices were very reasonable here as well!

Great atmosphere, owner and baristas are very nice! Im a chai drinker and have found them to be on the watery side. Ive had a couple that were made the way they are meant to be - creamy and spicy, but most of my visits Ive been disappointed. Ill keep trying though because I want to support this great local business.

My husband and I dropped in for the first time this morning. I wish I caught the name of the young man working behind the counter, because he was incredibly helpful, good-spirited, and patient when I asked a million questions. Coffee was excellent. I only knocked off a star because our muffin and breakfast sandwich were so-so (just the fillings, the bagel was excellent). In all, we will be happy to return to this local establishment.

Have tried several different drink offerings here and have been impressed with all so far. Their coffee is really good and they have some great and unique (to the area) pastry options to accompany them. The staff is very nice and the cafe itself is cozy and inviting. The biggest problem I will say here can be the parking, especially during weekdays.

Excellent coffee. Pastries were very good. The space is clean with nice coffee shop themed furniture. Service was fantastic. I liked the coffee so much I bought some beans to take home. Review №48

Coffee is great! Consistency is not. The quality of their coffee is wonderful. The beans they source are flavorful and they do a good job of roasting them in-house. I enjoy getting their beans for my at home brew. Their coffee drinks, however, are sometimes good and sometimes less than stellar. I typically get a mocha and about half the time its wonderful but the other half of the time its like they forgot a step. This most recent visits mocha tasted like it was made with tea. Unfortunately the coffee is typically served so hot that I dont notice any error until Im too far away from the place to go back and correct the situation. I work about 10 minutes away so its already a time commitment to go here for a coffee break. I keep coming back though so that tells ya that is definitely good coffee, however you might want to linger for a while if you get a latte. The staff are really nice as well and it is a present atmosphere so definitely worth a linger in non pandemic times.

I don’t know how this place is rated so highly. I got an almond croissant that was so stale that even after heating it up it was completely inedible and the “mocha” was just a tall glass of whole milk with Hershey’s syrup pooled at the bottom and a splash of espresso. $8 for the worst iced coffee and pastry I’ve ever had.

Very cute cafe and great coffee at very affordable prices! As a vegan, I was happy to find out that they offer soymilk or almond milk (though it doesn’t say it on the sign as far as I could tell). I am so happy to be able to support a local business rather than a big corporation, I do wish they’d get a recycling bin though!

Disclaimer - I only buy iced cold brew coffee, black. Thats the only thing Ive purchased here. Same way Ive had it at dunks, sbucks, peets, etc etc. Its the best Ive ever had at Saxonville. They dont give it away, thats for sure, but it is so GD good its worth it. If you like cold brew coffee this is the best in the Metrowest.

Great cafe that sources delicious coffee directly from Colombian coffee farmers (they actually had a few of their farmers up for a coffee tasting/cupping a couple of weeks ago). First of all don’t go at night because you will literally be blinded by workshop LED lamps. and they are bright and disgusting and everywhere it felt like i was in a warehouse there and that is NOT what i want in a coffee shop. the coffee was probably made with expired milk. idk whts worse. is it worse to have coffee that tastes like expired milk, or a coffee that tastes fine but has expired milk in it. and then my girlfriend gave up halfway trying to cut of a piece of the tiramisu bc it was THAT HARD. and then i took a bite and i almost followed my girlfriend’s lead of spitting a bite out underneath the rest of her pastry. uuuuumm. no. i don’t want to say a single other thing. i don’t want to waste a single other breath on this review. that’s how bad it was. f this place i wish i could swear.

When traveling we always seek out roasteries as chains wont do. Christian is not only the owner but the farmer. His coffee knowledge is spot on and I believe he can compete with any of the top roasteries in the country. His coffee farm is in Columbia and he roasts to a medium roasting profile as the beans he and his family grow demand a lighter touch. He has only been open less than a week at this time and I know he is bound for great success. If you care where your coffee comes from Saxonville Mills should be on your list to try. Sprudge take notice.

I arrived with high hopes, grabbing a bag of their yellow caturra, but noticed there was no roast date on the bag. I asked the man behind the counter about the roast dates and that I was using the beans for pourover, and he replied that beans need to de-gas and that they are good for about 6 months, and that the beans he had were about 6 weeks off roast and were all roasted in Colombia, not here in Framingham. Hes partially right, beans used for espresso need to de-gas for about 2 weeks because of the method of extraction under 9 bar pressure which would produce carbonic acid if used too close to roast date, whereas coffee used for pourover or any normal atmospheric pressure extraction does NOT need to be degassed at all and in fact should be used within 2 weeks of roast, as the CO2 releases naturally during pre-infusion. Any barista worth their salt knows all this and could rattle it off in their sleep. The fact that the owner does not, and continues to push 6 week old coffee at crazy prices, suggests that he doesnt care. How about a $29 bag of 6 week old Colombian Geisha? Absurd. The owner is counting on people having zero coffee knowledge but is charging 3rd-wave premium coffee prices. Still waiting for a good coffee shop near Framingham, this isnt it.
