Went in a few weeks ago to purchase a new pair of snowboarding boots. The staff that had helped me at that time was great and really took the time to explain my options to me. Took them out my first weekend and they started cracking and breaking where the boas are, just after 2 runs. Took them back in since I know this shouldnt be happening to a brand new pair of boots. Patrick and another employee immediately met my concerns with rudeness and proceeded to blame me for the issue. They proceeded to continue to blame me after I had assured them that I had not been using my boots to rest my board while on the lift (that is what they had blamed the break on) telling me that was definitely what had happened. After a bit of discussion, while continuing to be rude to both myself and my boyfriend, they said they would open a warrantee claim with Ride, who make the boot, and follow up with me. I never heard anything back from Patrick, even after following up myself. It had felt like I wasnt being valued as a customer and that my issues werent a priority to the store and were just being blown off. I tried to file a warrantee claim with Ride myself, but unfortunately have to do it through the store. I still havent heard anything back and still have a broken boot. After my first experience I was planning on returning but after the lack of customer service and the discourteous attitude I received from Patrick, I will be shopping either online or elsewhere when it comes time to replace my board and bindings later on in the season. I suggest you shop elsewhere as well.

Im not typically one to write reviews as I have worked in customer service and know that it can be harsh but this place doesnt even deserve one star. If youre planning on spending your money here - look elsewhere. This place lacks customer service beyond belief.I went into Ski Haus in Framingham in December wanting to buy boots, skis, bindings, poles - the whole deal. Patrick, was the man who helped me, and if youre looking for someone to be enthusiastic and excited for you about your purchase, its not him, he could care less about you as the customer. I shouldve known I made a bad decision when he told me they didnt have my size in the ski boots but to come back tomorrow after 12pm and they will have the boots there to be customized. I went back the next day and low and behold they did not have my boots and I was waiting there for about 30 minutes for them to figure that out. As I realize things happen, I said no problem, and came back the next day. They told me that the boots would feel snug and I would need to break them in. The boots ended up being way too small (for context, Im a size 8/8.5 and they gave me a size 23.5 boot). The boots were so unbelievably small and painful that I physically could not ski in them. I ended up having to buy completely new boots on the ski trip I was on in my correct size (24.5).I then tried calling Ski Haus for a WEEK & A HALF asking them if there was any way that I could return the boots because they do not fit whatsoever. Every time I spoke with someone they told me that Patrick would call me back.... he never did. I finally got a hold of Patrick after 6 calls and was not shocked that he did not care whatsoever that he sold me boots that were not sized correctly. In fact, he told me he wasnt able to call me back for a week and a half because they were buying for the next season. He told me that he would figure out what to do for me and would give me a call back the next day...... he never did. I called again. He answered and told me they would only be able to give me 50% of what I spent on the boots because they have a Boot Fit Guarantee, which I can tell you and guarantee you that these boots did not fit. Typically I wouldve just accepted the miss of $350 but after the poor customer service and spending nearly $3k total on ski gear - I was peeved. If youre looking to buy ski gear - DO NOT GO HERE. Cannot believe these people are still in business given their lack of customer service. They lost my business, my familys business and if I can help it friends business.

Patrick was a wonderful and patient guide to help us find the equipment we needed. And even though the store had closed by the time wed found everything, another staff member helped with another purchase, and the young lady at the cash register took the time to figure out the best deal for us to use our discount. Nobody hurried us out after what looked like a very busy day at the store. Well definitely go back there.

Well, this place is awesome, we rent the kids annually here for the season. The kids love the skis because of all the cool graphics on them! Great pricing, efficient, nice ski setups and very chill. The store is fullof great attire too! Everyone we have dealt with has been very nice and helpful!

I bought new boots & used skiis last year at the end of the season. They helped mold my boots to me, since I have larger calves. This year, quarantine didnt do me any favors & I had trouble closing the buckles around my calves. I went in & they remolded the boots to me, no charge. Everyone there has always been super friendly & accommodating. I will 100% be giving them my business in years to come for any ski or snow related fun.

New ownership is doing a great job placing an emphasis on customer service! I recently brought my skis in to be tuned and there ended up being an issue with one of them due to either airline damage or some sort of factory defect. Neither of which would be covered under Blizzard’s warranty since they are a couple years old. Steve and his team went above and beyond to help repair and make the best of the situation in time for an upcoming trip (thank you). Excellent local shop!

My husband was sold a womens snowboard unbeknownst to us— the bindings were put on and then we were notified to pick them up. He went to another Ski Haus location to get snowboard boots(bc the Framingham location was out of his size) and they told him that the board he bought was a womens board. WOW!!! Wow. and wow.On the other hand, I had great service by Griffin — He fitted me properly with the boots, binding, skis and poles. (based on my preference and ski level) All was done in 3 days. I believe they were busy that day and there was only one guy on the snowboard section— so perhaps, it was an honest mistake. Overall, I would give them a 4

I’ve gone here 3 years in a row. Wait to buy an entire ski set for my kids each year. I’m willing to pay $1000 each time. You think I’d learn. Nobody approaches to help me. They are very busy fiddling with ski tickets. No “take a number”. Inevitably after 15 minutes some pushy lady barges in. She yells at someone & demands service. I’m left standing there & then walk out after 20-30 minutes and buy online. This place sucks. I’ll NEVER see the inside of this place EVER.

Words cannot describe how much I hate this ski store. I ordered a helmet from them. They told me that it would be one week and it would arrive at the store. Two week later, I call them and they tell me that it has not shipped. They told me that they would call Smith and ask them whats wrong and they would call me the next day to update me. Two days later I do not get a call. I have to call back. The guy on the other end tells me that they would see whats happening. He told me that the store is very busy we get a lot of customers. So what? I am a customer too. What type of response is this????? You should not be working in a store if you cannot handle an overflow of customers. So if one customer has a problem you tell them its because your too busy? How do you think this makes me feel? So anyways, he tells me that he will call me tomorrow and update me. He also says that he will contact a Smith rep to see what is wrong. The next day he doesnt call me so I have to call him AGAIN. Turns out that the helmet is shipping on December 5. He told me that he would ask a Smith rep what is wrong. He tells me once again He would call me back. And the next day I received no call. I call them freaking again. I said that I wanted to cancel the order. They tell me that I allowed them to order it, Which never happened. So eventually after a few more times of them telling me that they would call me and never calling me and me calling them freaking again, I finally cancel the order. Thank you summit, I now have no helmet for the season because every website is sold out because I was waiting for your helmet to arrive. Turns out Smith is out of stock. You could have told me!!!!!!!!

Great service! One of the best ski shops in the North East. Be sure to call ahead and schedule a time to go in if you are looking for some special attention (boot fitting and ski packages can take some time). I found weekdays or first thing in the morning on weekends are best. The weekends are so busy there. The Ski tuning is a bit expensive, but you get a really high quality tune... Especially for racers! My only thought is that I wish they had more of a gear selection for older Juniors. It goes right from inexpensive start up packages to racing with very little in between. Definitely my favorite flat lander ski shop in New England!

I’ve been going to the Burlington location for years, and have had nothing but great experiences. This past weekend I decided to check out the new Framingham location (as it’s closer to home), and to my surprise I saw a familiar face (Steve the Owner)! Steve and his brother are really trying to get the location off the ground, to earn back trust from locals, as folks still think it’s still Summit Ski and Snowbard. I can assure you that it’s no longer Summit. You’re gonna get the same family friendly experience as the other Ski Haus locations. Ski Haus isn’t like other ski shops that rake you over the coals. Every sale has some sort of additional value that other ski shops or online retailers cannot offer. Awesome service, and I can’t recommend this place enough!

I have been a long-time customer at Summit Ski Shop and it generally is a great full service ski shop with very knowledgeable people. I recently I had an unfortunate negative experience in buying a ski travel bag, but when I contacted management about it they immediately got back to me and offered to correct the issue at their cost, which they did with a smile and an apology. Mistakes can happen in any retail business, but Summit cares about their customers and will listen if something was not done correctly and fix the problem if they can reasonably do so.

This is a high volume ski store charging full prices on everything. The primary goal of sales people is to move product and not to find the best product or fit for your intended use. They will tell you want they they want to make sure to buy what you are looking at. They are NOT in interested in a long term customer relationship or customer satisfaction. We recently bought ski equipment and were told it was the best fit for us. Technically is was within a rather large standard range, but they did not bother too ask any questions about intended use of type of skiing. The equipment did not fit us well and ended up being too small. They did not help when we returned to the shop. They are interested in just selling the items. The shop is large and has plenty of selection you will be on your own finding the best items for your type of skiing. We went during a sale, I complained about the customer service we received. The manager told me we dont do customer service during sales. He said it is too busy to provide any type of customer service. My thought is what is the point of a sale if you cant help customers. The solution is pretty simple, have more trained people working during a sale. This is indicative of what you will get at this shop. The manger then told me that we the ski shop does not have any record of me ever buying anything in the shop. In fact I have bought items previously, they just never set up a profile for the clothing I bought. The manger said since this is the first year I have been in the shop, that I am new and they would not help me. It is interesting because they had a chance of getting a NEW long term customer, they just lost this chance forever today. My nephew bought an expensive pair of ski racing boots and skis at the beginning of the year. They could not do a boot fitting when he bought the boots. He had to pay an additional fee and come back on another day for the shop to make adjustments to the boots. All they did was do the heat foam fit that came with the boot, and they put two wedges in the back of each boot. The fitting abouve what came with the boot took about 5 minutes. They also said the boot fit guarantee was only for one year. A ski shop in Worcester does not charge for the fitting and they guarantee the fit for as long as you have your boots.Skiing is an expensive sport, you are better off going to a more customer oriented shop that will help you find the best products for skiing and will help you with any issues you have with the items. The sales people are very pushy, they are focused one the sale not doing what is best for the customer. Customer service is extremely poor at this placeI recommend to stay away from this shop.

Unsafe Bindings + Poor Customer Service...Key Points-Bindings are key to safe skiing, and they made three separate mistakes on the ski/binding combo I purchased from them.-They did not provide an adequate solution to the mistakes or stand by the product they sell, leaving me with a setup I cant trust. My experience at Summit has me concerned about the safety of the work they perform. Considering the danger this can put others in, coupled with the lack of responsiveness by the store, I felt this review was important for others to read. I expect that they might respond to this review, so Ive tried to be as objective as possible...please consider my entire experience in forming your own judgment about their business.Mistake 1 - Incorrect mounting position - I bought a pair of skis, bindings, and boots from them less than a year ago. They incorrectly mounted the bindings more than 3cm ahead of the factory indicators (see photo) and let me take them home, where I identified the issue on my own. The store admitted the mistake, which required a remount before I even got them on the slopes. While they gave me a $50 credit, it took up a lot of my time, reduces the longevity of the ski (typically only 3 mounts per ski), and, most importantly, highlights the low attention to detail.Mistake 2 - Binding ripped out - After less than a year from the second mount, two screws came out of a toe piece while I was using them, with the remaining two almost ready to pop...a potentially dangerous scenario (see photo). I brought them to another shop, where they initially gasped in shame thinking they had done the mount, highlighting that 1.) this should not happen, 2.) it was unlikely they were installed properly, and 3.) the other toe piece was just a matter of time before falling off too. I brought the skis back to Summit to have them look at it. In my quest for objectivity, I must note that I cant be 100% sure this wasnt a fluke incident, but my 30 years of skiing experience, Summits initial mistake, and the other shops opinion are enough to warrant concern about the install quality.Mistake 3 - Insufficient repair - I called the next day, and without them communicating to me first, they claimed to fix the problem by doing what is called a helicoil on two screws. When I pointed out that there were at least 6 other screws I (and the other shop) didnt trust, I was told that helicoils for all screws would be the way to have full confidence. When they called the owner to see if the store could cover this relatively modest cost (less than $100), I was declined, thereby implying that they do not back their product with full confidence, leaving me with tarnished skis that I frankly cant trust. They did make a defense that both the skis and bindings I purchased from them are known for ripping out, but my research couldnt confirm this as a widespread issue, on top of which it would imply that they sold me junk equipment and wont stand by it. So, mistake 3 was an insufficient fix and unwillingness to do the fix they said would give me full confidence. While Im just one review (although 3 separate issues), I hope this proves helpful to others considering business with Summit. At the end of the day, they seem willing to let me leave the shop with skis that arent done right time and time again, which is why I would encourage others to take their business elsewhere.P.S. I do believe I remained calm, respectful, and rational when dealing with them as we explored the options. For example, they came up with the idea of the complete helicoil, which I was willing to compromise on before the owner declined covering the cost.

I heard a radio ad on WBCN and I was in the market for a new snowboard. When I arrived I was greeted promptly by the owner. I remember He insisted that my wife sat down because at the time she 8 months pregnant. He offered her a drink and set me up with a sales person. I ended up with a great board that I still ride today. It really was a low pressure situation and with how busy they were I still didnt feel rushed.
