Good price. Work was done right and earlier than expected. Mail in/ web in rebates are always less than optimal but this wasnt too bad. A couple of the guys were professional, fast and courteous.

I always ask for Matt great guy, always hooks me up on price, never makes me wait, not pushy on doing additional unnecessary work if im running on a budget. overall id say its a great place if your looking to do standard work on your car.

Being new to the area, I recently dropped off my car off for an oil change and a tire and brake check. It turned out that I did need brakes and tires. My service was great and was done very quickly! They took the time to explain the repairs needed and the options that I had. I felt like they truly cared about the end result and my satisfaction.I believe this auto center has a new manager and I would highly recommend this Sears Auto for your car needs! I will be taking all of my vehicles here from now on!

Very friendly and professional environment. They took my car in for service while I shopped at the mall and in no time 4 tires and headlights were fixed on my vehicle and I was on the road. I was charged reasonably and was explained in detail about the work done on my car. It has been two weeks now and my car is running great. Thank you guys

HORRIBLE experience. Would be funny, if it didnt cost us close to $1000 in damage Sears Automotive caused. Daughter brought car in to replace a bad battery. They replaced, then said car still wouldnt start so it needed a starter. After they replaced the starter, our daughter drove home but said the car was making noise when she turned. I started it up and heard noise, like a power steering pump low on fluid. Took the car back to Sears, they said it needed a new power steering pump and the reservoir was cracked. Wed had no problems with power steering until they worked on our car. They agreed to fix the power steering pump and reservoir at cost. After days of not getting the right part in, or having the right mechanic on duty, they informed us it also needed a new rack and pinion (pricey!) At that point, we towed the car to a reputable mechanic to get it properly repaired. Currently working on getting Sears Automotive to cover the damage they caused while in possession and working our our car for a simple battery change.

Our entire experience here was great. From calling and getting information right before closing on Saturday to the quick service we received on Sunday. They got the part we needed and had my car running the best it has in two years in under 3 hours. They suggested additional services that they thought we should also get done on the car, but when we told them we couldnt spend the extra money there was no pressure from them. I highly recommend Sears and will be going back there for all future auto needs.

I just had the WORST customer experience service here . I had an appointment, and was on time for my appointment. One hour later, my car still had not been touched. I asked about the status and was told the brake specialist was running late and it was going to be another 90 minutes. No apologies, or common courtesy, so I said that would not work for my schedule and the guy just handed me my keys with a word to me and I left. Please dont waste your time with this business, if they dont care, neither should you. Go elsewhere.

This is the worst place ever. Last Time I go here. I set my appointment for 5pm. Arrive 30 minutes early and sign in. Asked the lady how long it was going to take cause I didnt want to wait 3 hours like last time. She says she has three guys standing around in the bay right now without anything to do so 30 minutes tops. I say ok and walk away. 2 and a half hours later I am walking through the auto center still waiting on my tire to be mounted and balanced and she says to me with a tone there is a waiting room. 3 hours pass and I finally get my truck back. The guy put one tire on the back of my truck. The right tire is now matching the left side but the guy put the tire on backwards... The tires are directional! They have a v shaped tread pattern. A frickin 5yr old could see that the tread patterns were opposite of each other..... I mean it takes 20 minutes tops to mount and balance a tire and these numb nutts take 3 hours and cant even get the direction of the tire right!??? This isnt the first time I have had bad service from these guys but I love sears and try to support the business. I am done with the auto center.

Schedueled an appointment, upon arrival i asked if cars were back up i was assured my truck would be brought in.... 2 and a half hours later they are still mounting my 4 tires. I cancelled my alignment and took it to butler tire instead. I was told multitudes of excuses. Poorly ran shop. If my shop had tire machines id of done the work myself. Together this should of been an hour and a half project... they didnt even complete this simplest of tasks. Vlost another customer seara

Ive attempted to schedule service appointments at this location on several occasions and have been unsuccessful each time. For starters, the department manager is quite unpleasant and always seems to be overwhelmed or rushed when it comes to servicing customers. I was placed on hold at least 3 times on a recent call. During one incident while inquiring about an oil change promotion, I was told by this manager that oil filters are never included with this service price. These must be purchased separately. Another employee confirmed this and proceeds to LAUGH as if Id told a joke. Funny...the manager always answers the phone with the same ol how can I earn your business... line. Well, quite frankly, shes failed at earning MY business! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS AUTO CENTER!!!!

So far I have not had any major trouble from this Sears Auto Center except Saturday they did not check my lights to see if they were working. Police pulled me over that night, initially I went to get an oil change and tire rotation.Do not go to the Sears Auto Center in Bethesda and Gaithersburg. I will never allow them to look at my car again. Front End Alignment not done at Bethesda took it to Hagerstown they aligned it properly. The one in Gaitherburg did not rotate my husbands tires. We marked the tires and they were never moved.Right now I am satisfied with the Frederick and Hagerstown Sears Auto Centers. Only problem the wait is long. Make an appointment and that will solve that problem.
