I have purchased 10+ cars in the last few years, most of them out of state like this purchase, and this was by far the smoothest and most enjoyable transaction. Ben was clear and communicative and made trading in my car from over 500 miles away a piece of cake. No gamesmanship on the offer for my trade and the car I purchased was exactly what I had been promised and ready upon my arrival. Truly exceptional experience all around and would definitely recommend working with Ben if you can.
Service is always great however the attitudes this time were lacking and the helpfulness was at an all time low. I know everyone is over worked but we are a 4 x Fitz Family. I come for the great customer service. Please be better.
I just bought a brand new Mazda from here today. My salesman Ben Samtani was fantastic throughout the whole process. Ben replied to my questions through txt and assisted me applying online with them. I was coming from Virginia so this made my process so easy. I was approved within minutes and Ben had the car ready for me to pick up. Nancy the Finance Manager was amazing too. Most Virginia dealers are charging 4k over MSRP for new cars and I got an excellent price from Fitzgerald Mazda.
We recently bought a used Mazda at Fitzgerald Mazda Frederick and the process could not have been easier. Our salesperson Martina was extremely helpful and answered a bunch of questions over the phone and via text so we were comfortable that it was worth the hour drive to go to the dealer to see the vehicle. When we got there we werent disappointed - the vehicle was in immaculate condition. The sales process itself was as easy as it gets and they delivered the vehicle to our house the next day saving us the drive back.Its a challenging time to buy a used car and we had looked unsuccessfully at a lot of other dealers before we went to Fitzgerald Mazda Frederick. Seth made numerous phone calls to make sure I was happy with my service and Sean went above and beyond to fix the issue personally (without an appointment).When I need another vehicle, I will go back to Fitzgerald for the purchase as well as my servicing.Many people tell me servicing vehicles, be it oil or otherwise is too costly at the dealership.. I am here to totally dispute that claim. To do an oil/filter service for this truck any place else will cost me minimumly $40 more. At Fitzgerald, I earn points for every visit. Therefore, my most recent oil/filter change was free because of the point system.

Recently had an amazing car buying experience at Fitzgerald Mazda of Frederick MD. Sales Associate John Lee and Sales Manager Ron Namendorf went above and beyond to find a difficult to locate color combination and trim level I had been looking for. They made the buying experience easy and were forthright and transparent with pricing and finance. The staff displayed an in depth knowledge of the cars they sell. They also made themselves available to answer any questions about the cars features even after I left the dealership with the car. This is my third car from Fitzgerald Mazda and I intend to be a customer for a long time

I feel like Im family at Fitzgerald Mazda Frederick and now a proud owner of a new 2021 CX-30! My new car search brought me into contact with sales advisor/Zak H. and sales manager/Ron N. They set a new standard for professionalism in this industry by demonstrating timely and relevant responses to my questions about trim level (ya know, the bells and whistles of the car) and gave me a very competitive price without pressure. Manufacturer incentives included, I was very pleased with the transparent pricing as we quickly worked out a deal, online, in less than two days. The dealership facility is under construction, but that didnt stop Zak and Ron from preparing my documents in advance of my arrival, and having the CX-30 ready for test drive. My experience with the finance manager (Mrs. L, because I cant spell her name from memory) was personable and proficient with all the sales and State forms. Ron helped me by following up the next day to ensure documents were processed since Im out of state. Overall, my experience was very pleasant and my impression is that Fitzgerald Mazda Frederick is staffed by pros, acting in sincere manner, and we both got a win-win deal in the end. Had an all-around fantastic experience purchasing a new CX-5 from Fitzgerald Mazda in Frederick last month. The staff were kind, helpful, intelligent, and knew their inventory well. They were patient with our decision-making process, and we never once felt pressured into making a purchase (which is rare in todays car sales industry). No sales gimmicks and no BS on the pricing/financing, either. If youre looking for a new Mazda, go there and ask for Bill!

The Mazda repair shop is absolutely terrible. I hit a pothole which messed up my tire. I spent almost $2k getting whole tire replaced, and a few months later there were more issues. I had to bring it in and spent another $1k to fix additional problems. A few months later... More problems! Not to mention nobody responds when there are issues at all. They upcharge you like crazy to boot. Wish there were 0 stars, this shop is awful.

Eric was friendly and went out of his way to offer his help. I would recommend purchasing parts from them.
We bought one car from there and I was impressed with the experience. The no hassle pricing is good, but does mean you can sometimes get s better deal elsewhere. Ive also taken in several cars for service and the service advisor are helpful, the waiting area generally comfortable and service prompt.
I live in VA, but closer to Frederick than Tyson’s Corner. I received a recall notice in the mail and decided to use this dealership for the repairs. I called and the advisor said he needed a week to get the parts, then they’d call me to schedule the work. 10 months later I have yet to hear from this dealer. I must assume as a consumer this must reflect on a top down attitude towards customer service and satisfaction.It’s one thing when there’s a service issue that’s open to several points of view. However, this issue is self-inflicted. I would, and personally will, avoid this dealer at all cost when replacing our Mazda.I can not recommend this dealer.Follow Up-It’s been two months since the dealership replied to me that they wanted a few days to find out about the breakdown per the comments below. Crickets...This only validates my experiences. I phoned the dealer in Tyson’s Corner, and set the appointment on the spot. They indicated the parts would be available in a matter of days, if not less, and they’d be happy to do the work. A much different response and outcome.I wonder who earned my business and who should earn yours?
I went in to test drive a Mazda3 on my lunch break 10/20/15 so they knew for a fact I had no time to buy during that trip. I was very honest and let the salesman know I was looking at 3 different cars, he was still super friendly and helpful! Absolutely no pressure and Jeff Mason was extremely knowledgeable about the car, and all the cars on the lot. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Jeff if you are looking for a Mazda!

2 hrs for an oil change because of misplaced work order. The young service writer handled it 100% correctly. He explained, apologized, and service was free. I understand that stuff happens, the key is handling it correctly. It was.
Have purchased two Mazda vehicles here and get service there frequently between both vehicles. The entire Mazda service team (Kim, Chris, and Damien) is extremely friendly and accommodating. Kim has gone above and beyond to help resolve two major warranty issues that I had. They are always busy yet I never feel like theyre rushing me through anything. They follow up when they say they will. The guys that check the cars in and out and provide the loaners are also always friendly and courteous, as are the shuttle drivers. I was always one to balk at taking my car to the dealership for routine service but Fitzgerald Auto Mall has changed my opinion on that.

The service center employees are friendly and polite; however, the last time we took our vehicle in for service (oil change and inspection), within three days the MAF sensor went bad. Could have been a coincidence, but I just dont trust them.

After letting a few people that I know about this company and all the things that happened to me as far as my car they will no longer be buying anything from Fitzgerald Automall as well ... I took my car to Fitzgerald auto Mall and gave us Berg Maryland to get an oil change this company is so horrible that they did a horrible oil change on my car which caused all the oil to leak out of my car which then caused my car just shut off while I was driving it which then caused me to believe that it was my fault or that it was going to be my responsibility to fix my car I did not have the money at the time to get the car fixed so I had to wait two weeks of my time not being able to do anything because my car was shutting off to take it to Fitzgerald in Frederick Maryland to look at it because it was the closest place that I could take it to they didnt told me that whomever did my oil change did not do it correctly and all the oil has leaked out of my engine not knowing that it was another Fitzgerald that did the oil change .... Long story short the only thing Fitzgerald did for me was put oil back in my engine and offer me a free oil change the next time I came in thats it this company is the worst company ever I will never recommend this company to anyone else and Im looking around for cars right now And the last place I will be going to is Fitzgerald to try to get a new car I will be looking at other dealerships to get a car because Fitzgerald has lost 110% of my trust .... any customers looking for a car at Fitzgerald I am telling you right now do not waste your time ....when I first bought this car I was excited and happy with my first car to weeks later I didnt realize it because I didnt see it at the time but two weeks later I looked in my backseat as the sun was gleaming on it I saw countless amount of stains in the backseat of my car it literally looked like someone died in the backseat of my car and they just did a horrible job of cleaning it up when I contacted this Gerald and ask them about this and to clean it they did not do anything for me like I said this is a horrible company I have countless stories of the three years that Ive owned this car from this company but theres not enough time in the world for you guys to read it all I hope whoever sees this stays far away from this company
