Great job and fast service. Reasonable prices. Convenient location for me.Reliable and friendly mechanics. As much as I hate the bad news of a costly repair, they make it much less costly than the dealer. The quality of work is great, and the service is wonderful.
Best Indy guys for German cars. Honest, professional and nice folks. I went in for a brake change and they suggested it still had life. Update - They have moved to Frederick.
Ive been taking my 09 GTI to them for ~2 years now, so its about time I gave Deutsch American a proper review. I tend to do most of the smaller repairs myself, but when my car requires a more involved and/or important repair, Im so glad that I was fortunate enough to find this shop. I first found them because they were one of the only shops who allowed me to provide my own parts. The staff are genuine people who truly care about getting you back on the road. Everyone always seems to actually be happy to be there. The service fees are, easily, a third of the dealerships cost. I have never had an issue with a single service performed on my vehicle. In a time where companies seem to only care about their bottom line, Deutsch American really does stand out against the rest. I highly recommend this shop for your European repair needs.
Deutsch American performed a Maryland Vehicle Safety inspection on our new use Range Rover. Everything was done in a timely manner and professional in detail.
Mike (& Den) always do a great job on our MBs. They try very hard to be fair and have always successfully completed repairs when promised at the quoted price. We have NEVER had to return to correct something. That speaks volumes about their emphasis on quality. I have recommended them to our neighbors and have recd positive feedback from them. Keep up the good work, gentlemen!
Had a PPI done here for an E93 M3 I purchased. Thorough inspection and report, good communication and friendly staff.
Great job on my 20 year old Eurovan Camper. Went all the way to Canada to find the right parts. Price was $700 less than the dealer because the dealer added labor on each item separately instead of bundled. The technician, Eric knew his craft in and out - honest appraisal of condition and straight talk. Go here!
We have taken both our Mercedes Benz C-230 and BMW 335 IX here for years they are honest, perform great work and deliver what they commit too. Only recommend what is needed, when it is needed and have kept both of our cars running problem free for years. Plus they are very straightforward when discussing any problem you may have, really nice people to interact with.Michael and Cathy, Ijamsville MD
Great honest and professional service. Likely to save you some $$ versus the dealer.
Amazing service, fast, friendly and about half the price of the dealership. They know what theyre doing, no games, no add ons no gimmicks just good quality service at a great price. There is a reason why I was one of 4 people waiting to drop off my car in the morning before they opened!
Knowledgable service and on time. I took my Mercedes diesel there for years. Performed some services dealers will charge you for. Honest too. If they are going to be expensive, they will send you to a dealer.
They are honest, reasonable, and personable. I would never take our car anywhere else.
We have been taking our 1993 Mercedes Benz 190E to Deutsch American for service since 2000. They provide expert service, use genuine MB parts, and charge reasonable prices for their work----much more reasonable that an MB dealer.
Knowledgeable, fair, professional. I like being able to speak directly with mechanic and develop relationship with the person who really knows the vehicle. I have been to Rockville BMW (formally VOB) no thank you. I did not have good experience and paid for it
When it absolutely must be done right, this is the place. They have fixed things that three Audi dealers were unable to fix. Den and his crew know German cars inside and out.
Ive been taking my 09 BMW M3 exclusively to Deutsch American. They are the only shop I trust to service my vehicle with attention to detail that is unmatched.
These guys are great. They do quality work at a fair price.
Best service for my German vehicle in MD. It took me a couple of years to find Deutsch American but now that I have I dont plan on going somewhere else unless they recommend it. I have been taking my car there for over a year and during that period I have learned more about my vehicle. You can really tell that the people you deal with know what they are talking about. Prices are reasonable and location is actually quite convenient if you live around Urbana or Frederick. Also, and this is on top of them being really good with cars, they have really good customer service. When I used to make an appointment with the dealers there was always something. With Deutsch American, you call, make an appointment with the person that answers and then they send you text messages or emails confirming/reminding you about the appointment. It just shows how they are striving for a great customer experience.
Unfortunately, very disappointed in the knowledge level of these guys purporting to know late model Porsches. Have a 92 911 C2 and brought it in to complain about rattling coming from the engine compartment; sounded like out of tolerance valves, which I indicated. They kept it for a few days, ran it, and said must have been something lose in/around the engine compartment, but they couldnt find anything. Asked about adjusting the valves, and they indicated one didnt adjust the valves on this model/year. I accepted their expertise. Second problem was no AC. They recharged it, and it worked fine for a while, then failed again shortly thereafter. For the 60K tuneup, I took it to Ralphs Auto Service in Owings Mills outside Balt., which was recommended by Baltimore Porsche Club; they specialize in late model Porsches. Incredible place; only do Porsche, and the owner, Ralph, has been doing it for 40+ years and still works on the cars. Come to find out that yes, one does have to adjust the valves on 92 911, and mine were incredibly out of spec, ergo the rattle sound! Further, re. the AC, Deutche had failed to tighten the valve for the AC and all the refridgerant had leaked out! The good news is Ive found a place that knows how to service Porsches, and that I took it there before the engine blew due to the out of tolerance valves. A learning experience.
Ive been a customer for years and will continue to be. Mike and team treat me well, keep me informed and always do quality work.
They service European vehicles
