Went there to buy a gift certificate and was surprised to find out they dont really do them anymore. After I mentioned I would hate to have to take my business elsewhere, as I prefer to shop local, the fellow said hed check the safe and see if they had any leftover. I waited for over ten minutes and he finally reappeared with a gift certificate in hand. I was happy they could help me out but surprised they dont really offer them anymore.

New cold blue led lighting and completely unengaging, emotionless, and indifferent staff matches the big screen look-at-all-the-cameras-we-have downtown Baltimore feel. Its lost its small town feel and Im uncomfortable in there anymore.

I appreciate the response. I based my one star on my recent visits and my wifes last visit. Your selection is decent for this area and appreciate the local selections. But the staff at the front desk are completely disrespectful and rude. There are plenty other locations to shop within minutes of your store. And I will gladly drive to those places for a friendly smile and for a respectful and knowledgeable staff.

Edit: While the response claims the staff is knowledgeable about the March 20, 2020 date of the governor’s mandate, my license’s expiration was two months into that mandate. Appointments for renewal were solidly booked and two appointments I did manage to set were rescheduled without notice, in case you all need more insight. The cashier, if knowledgeable of the date and prideful of her great customer service, shouldn’t have given me such run around with attitude. We as an entire country are over eight months into these so-called “uncharted waters”, I’m not impressed. As stated before: other liquor store cashiers— local or otherwise, younger and older, before or after— none have given me such a grief. And for that the unflattering impression lasts.Used to be my go-to spot when I lived closer a few years ago, always had a great selection and great staff. Recently stopped in and the cashier who checked me out gave me a bunch of strife over my expired license which, like many others, I haven’t gotten a chance to renew because of the pandemic. Stared at me like she thought she was some grade school administrator giving me a talking to over a dress code violation. Mind you it’s October 2020, we are still in the middle of the pandemic and Governor Hogan declared a state of emergency back in March/April. A declaration that gives everyone with expired licenses until 30 days following the end of the state of emergency to renew our licenses with appointments to renew them still backed up booking months in advance. I’ve stopped into liquor stores from Northwest Arkansas to Frederick, MD (moving back home) and this is the only person who apparently hasn’t gotten the memo. Extremely unpleasant, rude woman.Everything else was lovely and up to the usual standard! Some people just ruin the experience.

Was my go to spot but for some unknown reason they decided to drastically raise their prices on everything!!! Good luck with that, I’ll take my business elsewhere

These guys have a great selection of current beer releases from local breweries, in addition to all the staple favorites. The liquor and wine selection is also quite good. The staff are all efficient and quick to ring you up.

Theyve made an effort over the past year to carry more craft beer, which I like. Given the size of the store they carry a good variety of beer, wine, and liquor. I only wish that they had a better selection of higher end wines, but I understand that they have to calter to their clientele.

A friendly neighborhood place to get beer, wine, liquor and associated supplied. In particular they carry my wifes favorite wine, and a few excellent brands of non-alcohol beer.

Staff will to help find what looking for but a very easy place to go in get what breed and be on your way back home or to a party. Only caution is there parking has a huge entrance sure to the church next to it so be mindful when backing out and pulling in of outbound and inbound cars

The store has good variety and its conveniently located, we used to give them our business but stop going. They hire a bunch of disrespectful brats who dont know how to treat paying customers. Too bad for them.
