Went for lunch and they have very good choices. I had their specialty red pepper and gouda soup, which was excellent! I paired it with the kale salad with raspberry vinaigrette, which had raisins, almonds and parmesan on top, and it too was excellent. My husband had their Reuben sandwich that came on a pumpernickel bagel and enjoyed it. We are just visiting Frederick so I hope to try their coffee too before we go. Prices are reasonable. They have both indoor and outdoor dining.
Traveling through Maryland and stopped in Frederick for the night and let me tell you, this place was perfect. The food was delicious, the morning wrap is an absolute must! The coffee is exactly what we were looking for. So many options, flavors, and they even have their own “specialty” menu for coffee. We will absolutely stop here again when we travel through even if it’s out of the way. This coffee shop offers a great atmosphere, delicious food and pastries, on point coffee and even coffee alternatives for the non coffee drinkers!
We were looking for someplace other than Dunkin or Starbucks and found this Cafe. The coffee was fantastic! I ordered the Almond Joy latte and an Asiago bagel and everything tasted amazing! The staff was friendly and I would definitely go back there to try more! Thank you 😊
THE SPOT for local coffee and good grub too! Frozen coffees are delicious especially the Ninja Turtle. Been pleased with both lunch and breakfast.
Great popular coffee spot on the edge of downtown. Superb coffee selection, its always good too. Their food is good, but nothing special. Staff is very friendly. Pups are allowed on their patio, which is important to me.
I have been here more than a couple of times and have had only the coffee and lattes. They are always busy if that indicates thier popularity. Very pleasant place. You need to check them out. Very good location.
I’ve been going to Frederick Coffee Co a few times per month for the past year and a half. It was my go to spot for an amazing sandwich and truly the best coffee and chai tea around. However, about 3 months ago I noticed that the food went downhill heavily. The sandwiches shrank to about half their old size, the orders are constantly missing an ingredient, and we used to LOVE their pickles but they are now a quarter of the size they used to be. Not sure what happened but the food quality has just been awful lately. I ordered their Reuben today and they forgot to put the sauerkraut on it; while the person I was with ordered the church street sandwich (We’ve had this probably 20 times this year) and there were almost no sprouts on it and they forgot the pickle. I’m pretty disappointed because this has happened every time over the past 3 months. We are considering finding a new lunch spot and only coming here for their fantastic drinks. I hope things change soon but for now it’s really been letting us down.
I’m in a wheelchair handicapped and this area literally has no parking for handicapped individuals. When I called to ask about it instead of being understanding I got 1 million excuses or why it wasn’t their problem. In other words coffee house is discriminating to handicapped people and doesn’t want their business
There are 2 things that hold this place back. The online ordering and the unorganization. The kids that work there do the best they can with what they have. The coffee, however, is fantastic. It just depends on if I can get one. I call and no one answers the phone 80% of the time. The online ordering never works, not once has it worked. The kicker is, when I do call and get through, they tell me they are not taking orders over the phone and to order online. So, I go to Dunkin Donuts, they have good coffee too. So as I said, Frederick Coffee Co. has good coffee, but only if you can get one.
Excellent food and friendly staff. They have an awesome selection of breakfast items. Highly recommended!
Best cafe in town! Great food at amazing prices! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere outside with live music playing was lovely. This will be my go-to spot from now on.
Used to walk across the street, and wed go here every day for a coffee and maybe a snack or sandwich. They have some killer breakfast sandwiches. The oinkin something is my favorite. My then-lover and I ate together on mornings we both worked, sat at a table inside with the treated wood under our feet, thinking, talking, loving, and hiding those parts from each other that could get damaged most. Could use more pastries.
Our cashier Becca Mwendwa was so amazing! We had amazing food that came out quick! Becca even came to check on us to make sure we were doing alright. The atmosphere was great and I will continue to come back
This place is run like a well-oiled machine and I mean that in the best way! Super friendly and competent staff. Couldnt ask for a better experience. Also, definitely the best cold brew Ive had in Frederick!
My favorite place to get coffee!! Anytime I’m in Frederick I have to get one of the cakes they sell and their latte specials. Really great art and the employees are so sweet
Great vibe, yummy food. Been trying their different menu options every day for a few weeks, very pleased so far.
Our online order should have been ready at 9:05. Our order was placed around 8:50 and it’s now almost 9:20. Our drinks were ready but not the food. I asked the girl behind the counter if our food was ready and she asked someone and then said it’s going to be a little bit. I said do you know how much longer? We ordered 20 mins ago. She looked annoyed and asked again and then said it’ll be about 10 mins. It should never take 30 mins for some egg sandwiches, especially when we could see someone else’s online order sitting on the counter and it was placed after ours, and their What’s worse, is they seemed annoyed that we were asking. The kids who work there need to learn not to roll their eyes at customers or look annoyed when we just paid $60 and had to wait 30+ mins now for a few egg sandwiches.
Friendly service and good food. Only been once and had everything bagel with cream cheese - excellent and french toast - decent.
Tasty coffee! Food is filling but nothing really wow-factor about the flavor. Granted it doesnt need to. Its worth the money and better than a chain coffee shop by far.EDIT: For clarity on my comments on the flavour. I got the Breakfast Ciabatta which is probably the least adventurous thing on the menu. Im sure other items carry the eater to flavor town.
A great local secret, the sandwiches and super and very reasonably priced.
Stopped by on a whim one morning. It was packed! We had to wait in line for a bit but that was fine with us. By the time we ordered, seats had opened up. I had a big sky (I think that was the name - mocha and caramel) iced latte. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and espresso. I ordered the good mornin wrap and it was very good! Although busy, the atmosphere was great.
Good coffee and nice food selection. Indoor and covered outdoor seating. Xfinity wifi.
Absolutely disgusting taste in advertising. Poking fun at the virus and had an entire vinyl sign made that said “2 stimulus checks a month, come work for us!”.
The atmosphere, food, and drinks at this place is amazing. They offer all day breakfast in addition to their other foods. They put up local artists work for sale which is awesome as well! Highly recommend them to anyone.
We absolutely loved our visit here! We went 2 days in a row because it was so yummy! I had their chai latte which was absolutely delicious and we both had breakfast sandwiches which were phenomenal. Cant wait to go back when we visit Frederick again in future :-)
Best iced red eye around! Also, their new mobile ordering system is very convenient
Best coffee in town! Lovely outdoor seating. Thanks for helping me survive this Grad class. 😅
Never really liked the coffee here and breakfast is just okay. Rather go to beans and bagel in the morning instead. Also keep seeing that this place is having bad advertisement about “stimulus check” jokes and saying to get 2 stimulus checks a month working here. That’s really not an okay thing to advertise.
One of the best cafes in Frederick! Theres a lot of options and the food is as good as the coffee. Cant wait to go back 😋
Love this small business.Starbucks in Frederick is awful customer service. This is a nice walk extra mile is worth it.
A great little breakfast and snack stop. A little noisy sitting outside but cute place, nice menu, tasty oatmeal.
Great coffee but it would be nice to have sugar free smoothies too. Healthy choices but a ton of sugar in their smoothies.
Great coffee, excellent food choices.
Always delicious - ordered one of the specialty lattes as a treat and it was great. Thanks for the great service and coffee as always!
Great coffee. Turkey bacon panini and feta wrap, add cucumber. 😋
Enjoyed my visit for a quick bite to eat and a refreshing mango smoothie. Friendly customer service, clean store, pleasant outdoor seating and plenty of parking.
Great place for meetings. Soup and breakfast sandwiches are top notch.
Good outdoor seating. Coffee just OK.
Nice place. Got the oh la-la-lavendar latte, it was good, pleased with the flavor. Not too powerful, just enough. People working there were nice and pleasant as well. Ill be back.
Visited this cafe today to grab a bite to eat and some coffee. The cafe itself is cute and welcoming. The bagel I ordered was very bland. No flavor to the egg or sausage. I also ordered a large coffee and that was mediocre, nothing I would go out of my way to get. You also have to pay for refills on plain coffee which is a bummer.
I really loved their new flavor and the cones are amazing. The rule of one group at a time is really good too.
The Coffee is 5 Stars! The food is outstanding! Great coffee shop with ample indoor seating, outdoor and tent seating. Also check out their specialty coffees, they are so good too!
Coffee is usually good, I get food some times and every time I do its messed up somehow. Today I ordered the grilled ciabatta sandwich with extra cheese online. Unfortunately when I put extra cheese it automatically puts no cheese since you need to pick cheese or no cheese or extra cheese. So on the receipt it said no cheese/extra cheese. Easy mistake( simple to fix the website) When I drove all the way back to get it fixed, they took the time to microwave my GRILLED sandwich to melt the cheese instead of remaking it. All that time to go back and get a new sandwich, I get the same sandwich back SOGGY and greasy. When someone returns something because its not right, just remake the right way. Very upsetting.
The food is exceptional, service wonderful.
Incredible wraps. No! INCREDIBLE. I am planning to move to Frederick now to visit every day
Good local coffee place, been going here for years.
We moved to the area within the last year and have come to this spot several times. We find the coffee to be average. When compared to coffee from other smaller shops like Atwaters, it doesnt have the intensity or flavor that stand out. Its not bad, its just average.
Always love stopping in here! They offer a wide range of food at reasonable prices plus tons of fun flavors for espresso drinks. I’m a big fan of the roasted red pepper and gouda soup + the four cheese panini (pictured). It can get crowded during mealtimes but there’s a good amount of seating inside and outside. The staff is friendly and the service is speedy even when crowded. Free WiFi is a plus for me since I like to bring along my computer and do work while I sip.
The paninis and drinks are so good here.I love it❤️😍
I am just setting here and drinking my latte. I like the customer service and the coffee is great. I like the heart shape sticker of Be Good on the cup.
Husband and I just moved to Frederick and this is our new favorite go-to! Super yummy breakfast options and the best matcha latte (w oat milk) Ive found so far 😋
First time customer. Arrived at 09:30 am Saturday and the line went out the door. The sign on the outdoor tables read to place your order online and your order will be brought to your table. The website was not friendly and it took 3 tries before our order took, scheduled for 10:09 am. By 10:15 am, we went in to determine what happened and our order was set on the counter the whole time. There is an automatic $5 tip online unless you adjust, so we asked for it back. With apologies, the $5 cash was returned. The Nova Lox smoked salmon, onion, tomato, capers, & cream cheese on a black russian bagel $7.99 each and two hot coffees were really good although cooled. $27 - $5 =$22 total. The ordering hassle was a real turn off so only 3 stars here. The staff needs attention to detail training, a friendly website and perhaps a waitress/ waiter to take and deliver orders.
Great coffee & sandwiches!
Delicious and friendly! All day bagel sandwiches (breakfast included) are the best. Im excited to try some of the sweet baked goods too!
I loved it!! It was an amazing breakfast choice!
Great coffee, excellent food! Very efficient staff and easy to order online and pick up. We went 2 weekend days in a row around noon, and both times our orders were ready for pickup at the counter within 15 min, as promised.
A great place for lunch and coffee. Great place to meet with friends.
Great quality coffees, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, way better experience than Starbucks at a better price. My only complaint is tip option on machine skips $2 amount and is either 1 3 or $5, which is goofy for ordering coffee.
Perfect place to meet family and friend for coffee, even during COVID. Social distancing observed well, plenty of places to sit, outdoor dining, ample space to wait for coffee-to-go orders. Couldnt be in a more beautiful area either!
The Frederick Coffee Company is a coffee/breakfast spot on the edge of Fredericks historic district. Its a large space set up well during the pandemic. The inside is only an order line with safe distance markers and hand sanitizer throughout. You order your food/drink, wait and then head to outside to the large patio with tables and chairs.Their coffee and food menu is large and it includes cakes like chocolate cheesecake. My wife got a double shot decaf latte and I ordered a triple shot French Toast latte that actually tasted like French Toast.
No gluten free. No sugar free. Table keeping customer arms length away from register.
One of my boyfriends favorite chai lattes and a solid Americano to boot. A delightful location that is has great atmosphere and plenty of seating (while also being safe and mindful!)
Great coffee. Local flavor.
Good food and coffe at decent prices
This place seems to always be busy which is usually a good sign. The coffee is average and they forgot about one of the drinks on our order. The atmosphere is nice but loud. Service was kind of sub par and things weren’t accurately priced on the menu. Overall it was okay but I’ll probably try a different coffee place before returning here.
I have been a regular here for over a year and while the food and drink are fantastic, some recent changes have made me question this places commitment to safety during the pandemic. Up until about a week ago, you were able to place an order at an outside table, where your items will be brought out to you, limiting exposure for both you and the staff. Recently, that has changed and you must go inside to pick up or place your order. When I came in and placed an order I was told that while they had no issue delivering my order to the table, I inexplicably have to retrieve my drink order at the cafe bar. This essentially forces me to have to wait inside until the drink is ready in a small enclosed space with a large staff and limited ventilation. The policy changes made recently have made me question this places commitment to safety and whether I should continue to patronize this location until the pandemic has ended. I urge the owners to reconsider these policies.
Never have any issue every time I go to this place except parking.Great coffee and food. The black beans burger is the best and the cake.
The place is Fantastic and cozy🤩😊😉👍💖
Good coffee, nice outdoor seating.
Simple, efficient, great spot!
Quality service and great coffee as always. Thank you!
Always a great place to get your daily fill of coffee.Stop and chat with friends you havent seen in ages. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Its a great place to eat and drink and spend some quality time with friends and family.
Good with COVID protocols and — most importantly — they make a mean Dirty Hippie.
Food is great, but they consistently underfill Pumpkin Spice Lattes for some reason. 4th time in a row now, by around an inch. I️ might as well have ordered a medium.Other types I️ get are fine. Not sure what’s up with that, but wouldn’t recommend it.
This is such a great cafe in Frederick, they have been able to make changes to adapt to the pandemic regulations. They have quick sandwiches and sweet treats and of course good coffee. Also they have for sale things like local honey, merch: shirts and I think hats as well? some cute mugs with the Frederick coffee co logo.Worth the stop.
Very good. Coffee and scone.
I’m a big fan of the environment. My friends and I come to play board games and have coffee and it’s always a great time. The 4 cheese panini is to die for honestly. Great coffee! Also the live music isn’t the best but it’s still fun to have around
The food, baked goods and coffee are great! The service is quick and friendly. Conveniently located near downtown
Awesome food. Friendly service. Still working out the COVID kinks when it comes to ordering.
