First this Starbucks location so located in Historic Downtown Frederick in an amazing historical building. Every visit I have made here has always been pleasant even when they are busy. The location also has a great Holiday atmosphere during the Christmas season that is very enjoyable and fun.

The staff are fine. The food and drink are typical for Starbucks.Im not a huge fan of one restroom being reserved for staff only.However, this review is about the back patio where my wife was screamed at. I was heading inside getting drinks for my wife and son who were seated back there.When I came back out, my wife said we needed to leave the courtyard and head back inside. During the process of going back inside, we were screamed at by another patron at the table to next to our original table who accused my son of bothering her daughter.We headed back in still in shock and afterwards my wife and I both thought a camera back there was an absolute necessity, as it is isolated from the main restaurant and it is quite easy to come in off East Church street in the heart of downtown. While this incident ended with only screaming, my wife was fearful of being assaulted. If there is not a camera back there this this review is one star; if there is, the review goes up to four stars.

Out of the 2 Starbucks near West Frederick, Maryland, I prefer the downtown location the best. Not only is there a great curbside vibe in the area, the all around service is better. They gave my normal frappe order a much fancier presentation with a chocolate swirl on top of the whipped cream.

I love their hard lovely job. There are nice, clean and quick.

I really like this downtown Starbucks. It has a friendly small town vibe to it. I always walk down to this store whenever Im waiting for a prescription at Whitesells Pharmacy.

Horrible horrible horrible. My daughter and I walked in at 6:45 and used the bathroom to wash our hands for 2 minutes and walked out to order with my 3yr old saying how hungry she was and they said “sorry were closed” and wouldn’t let us order. They weren’t closed for another 7minutes and we were already in the building ready to order but they made us leave. I left quietly but I really wanted to tell them how absolutely rude it was of them to deny us service. I’ve worked in restaurants before and we weren’t ever allowed to kick a customer out who was there before closing even if we were all ready to go home. Get better employees.

Staff are always friendly and my drink has never been wrong at this location 👍👍

First of all, Ive been a Starbucks fan-boy for over 20 years. I spend approx. $2,500 per year at SB. After moving from McLean/Tysons VA to Frederick MD June of 2021 my first priority was finding the perfect Starbucks to call my second home. After being disappointed by three Frederick Starbucks, one of which is within walking distance to my home, my girlfriend and I happened upon the downtown 104 Market Street location where we found just right. Actually, we found Mia and J.B.. I can say with conviction that Mia is on my Top 3 Best Baristas of All Time list. Both Mia and J.B. are the real deal. Theyre passionate about making the perfect cup of coffee and creating a warm and welcoming experience for their valued customers. Katie, the store manager, should be very proud of the team she has built as they are a major asset to the store and the Starbucks brand.

Youre only getting 2 stars because I didnt actually go in and buy anything. Otherwise, youd get 1. You need to be open when youre hours on the door say you are, and you need to be open later. Especially in the longer days of summer, when people stay out later and may need a place to go downtown that is open. Not very user-friendly.

This Starbucks seemed a little too relaxed. The staff was very apathetic and was out of all the cold brews. When we ordered they didnt even say it was ready. My party and I were very dissatisfied and wont be coming back to this location anytime soon.

Hanna (not sure if correct spelling) got my coffee Sunday after Christmas. She was exceptionally kind and cheerful, her positive energy absolutely made my day. She is an excellent individual and a great employee. Thank you!

The 4!stars are for the employees and the products. This Starbucks is consistent in the quality and speed of service. However, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting every time. (Not the employees fault) There is no ventilation system in the bathroom and it smells like a port-a-pot every time. Then, to wash your hands the sink has almost no pressure in giving water. It’s a trickle. I feel gross after using this restroom. It’s not expensive to put in a fan system or to update the faucet on the sink. Thank you for everything else though, I enjoy the coffee and pastries.

Attacking customers to wear a musk, ask customors at the right time and politely.

Has a large foyer, employees were respectable and pleasant, there was a clean restroom available, social distancing was in effect (no seating available and clearly marked because of the pandemic). Centrally located.

Best Starbucks Ive ever been to. Hands down. I had to stop going they were so nice, here. They have such a good balance of corporate professionalism and local homeliness that its unbelievable. I would not be surprised if theyve (and probably have) won multiple Starbucks business (internal OR local) awards how courteous, catering-to and not-afraid-to-let-you-know, they are. Well done, guys. Aaron is AMAZING. I miss the holiday flat white and mentioned it and he made something super similar. He took time to hear me and was kind to everyone else he helped. If yall dont bring him into corporate or give him a raise....Im going to steal him to work for me!

It is always a wonderful experience in this Starbucks. Super sweet team of fast, skilled baristas and cashiers. The entire staff this evening (9/25) brightened my day. So friendly and kind. We have a shop down the street so we stop in for coffee almost daily. Just wanted to give credit to these awesome people.

I went into this Starbucks yesterday and had a great experience. The woman behind the counter was deaf, so we had some communication issues, but she really did her damndest to understand exactly what I was saying. She was awesome! And the drinks were made perfect!! Best Starbucks experience ever.

Well run location. Not usually a problem with drink orders although yesterday 2 orders had to be redone. Bathrooms could use a little more love.

Located in the heart of downtown Frederick. Roomy on the inside with a decent amount of seating. Interior walls are all white, which is a bit odd compared to other Starbucks Ive been in. They have the same basic brew & snack options youd find in other Starbucks locations.

Kind of like having a limited amount of stuff from wish available without waiting for it to ship from China. Three times better than dollar tree at five times the price 😋

Always like Starbucks for both the coffee, food, and ambience. Think this was a store in Manchester, Connecticut. But I have to say that after seeing number one in Seattle about two months ago, the others feel more like a commodity. They do definitely have a brand working.

Besides the typical drink selection, this Starbucks doubles as a safe haven for when you want to work, read, escape from the rain, or metabolize your caffeine in peace. The old building feel is very charming and there is an extended back room with lots of seating and a patio which leads directly to the Church Street parking garage.

Disappointed because my friend ordered online and when she got to the store they didnt have what she ordered. It was a bit of an ordeal. Im sure this doesnt happen often but it was a bummer.

So rare to call a Starbucks, but somebody should answer phone if number is posted widely and publicly. Rings and rings... No receipt offered here, business visitors may wish to keep that in mind. Otherwise, counter staff helpful and friendly.

It is located in the old town area, and is quite different from the hipster Starbucks. The only issue I had was the cramped seating area in the back.

Cozy, unique interior. Staff is always helpful. Great spot for people watching. Manager learns names of regulars, their favorite drink, and even tidbits about their lives!Ive edited my review because the quality of drinks is inconsistent. I order the same drink every morning (a chai latte) on my way to work and often its made incorrectly.

Is disgusting that they let a corporation like this in the downtown district There are multiple small business coffee shops in downtown dont support a corporation.

Clean and love coming here on weekends for coffee because of their breakfast sandwiches. The staff provides an amazing services.

One Starbucks is as good as another, but I was really happy to see one in downtown Frederick! That being said, the entrance is a bit difficult for people with knee problems....such big steps to get inside. Theyd do well to install some rails or at least a wrought iron grab bar that would go with the rest of the decor in Frederick!The surprising thing about this Starbucks is that in back of the bar where you pick up your coffee, there is a whole other room for sitting and chatting! Lots of tables and comfy leather chairs in there! So, if the front window area is full, just head to the back!

Well after me and friend got done eating we were relaxing with our drinks. I had my eyes shut listening to the music here when one of the workers thats bald decided to knock my foot and told me that there was no sleeping here. I then opened my eyes and told him I was shutting my eyes and he continued to insist I was sleeping and told me that there was no exceptions. It was outrageous and very rude and I am never coming back here again.

This store has really gone downhill. They often mess up the simplest of orders. They try to blame them not doing a mobile order on my having sent it to the wrong store but have no interest when I try to show them the receipt stating clearly that this is the store where it was sent. Ive sent multiple complaints to corporate about them consistently not making my chai correctly. No other store in the area has this issue.

White chocolate mocha of course is to die for.

Like many businesses in Downtown Frederick, this Starbucks is located in an old building with squeaky wood floors that gives it charm. Staff are pleasant and service is generally fast and they get your order right.

Always a great atmosphere and service! Cleanliness needed to be better on Monday, June 5th, 2017 - trash was overflowing and bathrooms needed cleaning - first time I noticed that since going there for years.

It was nice being here the workers and the boss were very caring and understanding of my fiance and my situation they were very helpful polite friendly they keep their place clean and peaceful and they treat every customer equally

I love most of the starbucks drinks, but i also like the atmosphere that this specific location gives, it is in the heart of frederick and is a great place to grab a drink and relax. Strongly recommend the frappuccinos. All in all great place :)

Standard Starbucks Fair, decent coffee, and some gluten-free options.

The tables and chairs in the back seating area were filthy. It was hard to find a relaxing place to enjoy the high priced beverage.

Mostly I enjoy drinks from Starbucks, I couldnt believe it when someone who worked there told my boss who regularly drinks coconut mocha machiatos on ice that they didnt carry that drink, youd think they could look it up so they dont tell someone they dont make drinks that are on their menus. A favorite drink of mine not too sweet is called, Green tea frapachino made with coconut milk, no classic, no whip but if you can add a pump of raspberry syrup...greatest drink there in my opinion!
