The online agent provided me with the exact information that I asked for without any run around. Because Of their prompt and direct response we were quickly able to come to an agreement and complete the deal. Once there, the salesperson was prepared for my arrival. Our sales associate Earl truly listened to what I wanted and selected the vehicle to test drive. Wow. He was spot on.When the vehicle came in we’re we less than 2 hrs from walk in to walk out including a training on all the bells and whistles.I took the vehicle back to have it specially treated and add in some lights on the interior. Their service people were excellent also. The young lady that was my service attendant took the time to go over everything. I even had a chance to meet and work with the parts manager as I wanted a few more items. He was excellent and helpful.

I bought a new forester over the weekend and I absolutely love my car! Megan P. was so nice and professional and she was a pleasure to work with! Megan at Ultimate Subaru is the BEST! This was my first car buying experience and she made everything very easy and made sure I knew all the ins and outs of my Forester before I left the lot. Despite it being in the middle of a chip shortage and a terrible time to buy a car, I feel like Megan helped me get a fair deal on my new Forester and she continued to check in on me to see how I was liking the car and kept me updated on when my plates and accessories would arrive after the fact.When disaster struck less than a month after getting the car (the biggest rock of all time flying into my windshield and cracking it) she personally recommended a trusted shop to fix it and helped me schedule the appointment. Cant say enough nice things about Megan and Ultimate Subaru!

This place is the worst. 19 months ago they rebuilt the engine in my 2011 Outback, today they want $1650 to replace transmission valve body, $445 to replace the spark plugs, and $3250 to pull the motor and fix the oil leaks, leaking from the motor they rebuilt. Crooks

I wanted to take sometime to give this 5 stars for the Subaru parts department guy is cool. He was there after ringing the bell, he checked if I had the Clutch pivot bolt, even though they didn’t have it in stock, he offered to order it and it came in the next day. Very satisfied with the Subaru Service and I’m now able to fix my clutch assembly. Thank you Ultimate Subaru parts guy! :)

I will start this saying, I very rarely leave reviews, but we had such a great experience and wanted to make sure it was known. We (my friends and i) stopped here while on a trip, as we were having car trouble on the highway. We called as it was the closest Subaru service center, and we didnt know what else to do as we were over 3 hours from home. We explained our situation, and were told if we could get the car there, they would fit us in immediately. We managed to get the car there, and within ten minutes they were examining the car to see what the trouble was. Not many places will fit you in the way they did, and they got us back on the road in about an hour. The staff were so professional and courteous, knowing we were far from home with no other options, made sure to do their best to help us out. Absolutely stellar service!

I must have called twice and had the phone ring non stop for 5 mins then just hang up. This is for parts btw. Finally got ahold of someone and didn’t have my vin number present. Which ok I should have had but help me out. This is already turned into a 30 min process to see if we have a part in stock. Btw the part fits on any 2015-21 wrx. Simple. Anyways drive to another town for better service. Harrisonburg got me my part no problem. No vin needed.

Sales tactics that harken back to pomade hair and turning back odometers. Dont go here for straightforward, honest car sales. I liked the selection and the help choosing among available cars. I paid cash + trade in of older Forester, so no financing was needed. Ultimate Subaru did do a hard credit check before taking my check.My new Forester takes some getting used to. It incorrectly assumes I am not paying attention too often. When I wear a hat, it gets worse (I guess it has a problem watching my eyes). My wife finds it creepy, particularly when It tells us to check the back seat. I traded in an old Forester and these safety related features are now a significant distraction from driving.I would _REALLY_ appreciate it if the remote tailgate open button could be turned off, or at least require that the vehicle be unlocked first. It opens the back when I am in my house, and I sit down and the button gets pressed by accident. I can come out to an open car after it stayed open all night!!!

We were on the way from Connecticut to South Carolina when the dashboard lights lit up on our Subaru Outback. We just happened to exit the highway where Ultimate Subaru was only a few miles away. They were fantastic. Took our car right in to diagnose it. It was the transmission. They worked with us to try to get us back on the road safely as quickly as possible. They were able to fix it without replacing the transmission. We were back on the road in a few hours. I only wish this dealership was closer to my home so I could use it for all my service.I highly recommend them.

While we didnt buy from Ultimate (our preferred trim/features not in stock), our sales consultant DJ was fantastic in helping us arrange a test drive of a similar vehicle. He was responsive and quick to answer our questions. He was similarly gracious in understanding when we found what we needed elsewhere and happy to have helped us. Subaru automotive department the techs and service reps were great from making the appointment to keeping in touch with me about diagnostic results of my vehicle. I bought my Subaru used from another dealership, the service and education I received about my vehicle was never discussed when I purchased it. The techs and service rep Jon were very thorough in explaining what they repaired/replaced and how to maintain it running efficiently. The Service Department does quality work and backs up their service. They made a mistake in a service visit I made in 2019. They discovered their mistake on my vehicle during a later visit and repaired the error at their cost, and provided me a loaner vehicle while they fixed it. They are led by a Service Manager who instills a quality attitude in their work force. Every other service I have had performed during six visits have been impeccable. I cannot ask for more, and they have earned my continued business. I recommend Ultimate Subaru.

I have purchased two vehicles from here and get service done on most of the Subarus that I have owned here as well. I always felt well taken care of, though I wish the service department was a little faster in completing service. Its not a whole lot different than any other dealership, but be prepared to spend about an hour to an hour and a half for an oil change (though that includes the rotation and a car wash). Also a little expensive compared to doing it yourself.

I brought my car in for inspection after only owning the car for a year, and barley drove the car over that year. I was informed that my exhaust manifold, something that should never break on a car that new unless there was a previous issue, was broken and needed fixed. This is where my problem really starts. I was in contact with Ultimate over the next week every single day for 7 days trying to get someone to answer my questions about my issues, I constantly got the run around, told I would get calls back but never received anything. The customer service there was absolutely atrocious ( Rick and Olivia were the only two that tried to help out). Finally when I did get ahold of someone that could give me answers, he said there was nothing they could do. Keep in mind I have almost spent 100,000 dollars in cars there over years. I will never ever buy a car from them again! If I were Subaru America, I would be embarrassed to let this company still function as a dealer. They hold none of values of what Subaru stands for that was made crystal clear. Bottom line is the customer service is what made my decision to not return to this company.

SERVICE: I took my car in for a series of lights, specifically related to the Eye Sight cameras. After 90 minutes, the advisor said that he would give me a loaner. I asked what was wrong and he said probably the fuel pump. 7 days and 2 hours later (!!!), I got a call that my car was ready. Not one single call to update in that entire week! When I asked if the engine was replaced, I was told no, it was a faulty switch that took time to diagnose. Then it took longer for the part to arrive because of Covid, again understandable. Communication? It’s not really hard even during a pandemic. You pick up the phone and call the customer. I will not go back.

No shenanigans about the car no longer being there or the price not being accepted. Ive never felt this respected at a dealership.Zee spoke to me and my partner. All too often car sales people only speak to the man. Ive felt invisible at dealerships before, but not here.Jessica worked out financing that BEAT our credit union! We had a specific amount that we wanted financed so we can pay it off early. She made that happen.I dont remember the sales managers name and I apologize for that, but even he was respectful and friendly. We shared some laughs. Seems like a genuinely nice guy, not just sales guy nice.As far as COVID, everything was super clean. Everyone wore masks and hand sanitizer was readily available.We live minutes from another Subaru dealership. That dealership ignored our emails. Three other not Subaru dealerships ignored our emails. I went into this dreading the entire experience. Im so glad Sam ended up as our salesman. He came across as truly genuine and trustful. Sadly after today, I will be taking my Subaru business and buying to Alexandria,VA. I came in for an oil change and to fix my car since I have a gold plus extended warranty. Sadly there systems are outdated or not familiar with the process, which they were not able to submit for my warranty. I called and verified with 3 other stores and they were able to pull my warranty information, but not this one. Sadly I overpaid for my oil change and was carless for 2 days. I might as well have gone to a Quick lube place and be careless for 5 minutes. Never again am I coming here or recommending this place for service or purchase. It is sad I live 3 miles away from this place and have to take my business to Alexandria Subaru.

Took delivery recently on a very nicely equipped Crosstrek that had to be hunted down in South Carolina because of our very specific needs (desires). Zea our sales consultant and Misha (ops manager) worked hard to find our car and we took delivery on it 3 days after telling them what we needed. In any industry an important consideration should be the service levels extended to customers. Im going on record as stating this was the easiest car purchase I have ever been a part of and I would recommend Ultimate Subaru to anyone willing to hear my take on this. Best car buying experience we have ever had! My husband, myself, and our 2 year old went in today looking at the Subaru Outback, specifically for its safety ratings. I was now too nervous driving around in our older Nissan Sentra with less than appealing safety standards, and a child with Medical concerns. So we went safe vehicle shopping and ended up at Subaru! Earl was so helpful, knowledgeable, no pressure, I could go on and on. He was great. Now, we have a special needs 2 year old, hardly verbal, extremely hyperactive, and very stressful out in public. Nobody at the dealership ever once made us feel bad, even when our son was loud, throwing himself around, and even offered him a snack to try and help us. They were completely understanding, and moved the process along for us as quickly as possibly. We love our new Subaru Outback, and the experience at the dealership was phenomenal!

Went to Ultimate Subaru yesterday to pick up a 2017 Subaru BRZ limited which is pretty hard to find let alone at a good price.They held the car for me for 3 days without issue, had everything set up ahead of time to make the process easier and despite being 2 hours late due to traffic they were happy to stick around and get me on the road again.Our sales rep Ziham or Z was even on his day off and birthday but still came in to close the deal and kept me updated the entire waiting period.It was easy and the staff were great. They gave us the wrong inspection certificate (for the wrong car), entered our address information incorrectly and even managed to turn OFF our auto payment. Beware their administrative incompetence!

When I purchased my Subaru. I waited until after closing for my vehicle. I was told that subarus do not come with CDplayers that that mode was out dated. There were stains only front seat that took weeks to have them remove. The salesman was more interested in complaining about his coworkers and his life than my sale. I should have walked out. I was not financing my purchase with them, and yet they put a hard hit on my credit. I was handed the keys and title ring the dead of night with no instructions. The entire experience was bad. I still dislike going there for anything.

Ultimate Subaru refused to honor warranty work. Took it to Another Subaru dealership and they honored it, no questions asked. Also, went to buy differential fluid but apparently their the only dealership that does not sell Subaru differential fluid. It was in a black bottle with no seal and oil dripping on the outside. WTH. Also tried to give me some off the wall crush washer instead of the black Subaru washers for my vehicle. We go to the Subaru dealership to get Subaru stuff. Otherwise, Id just go to Advanced AP and get it for cheaper.

Shady business like any other car dealership. Be careful of what they offer you just to get you there or to get you excited, and then they will try to get you into another car because the car you wanted was sold just before you closed the deal. To us, it happened even after we submitted the credit application and gave them a $500 deposit with a credit card to hold it until we got out of work. Shame on them!

Worst car buying experience my of life. Negotiated a price slightly higher then I wanted. They didnt have the car so I put money down so they could ordered one. When the car arrived I went to the dealer to sign the paperwork and hand them a check for the remainder of the cost. After about two hours they came to me and asked for $1700 more. They would not honor the price agreement and I wasnt going to pay more. They drove me home and I ended up with a Honda. They do not share the love here.
