She was very patient with us and helped us choose a better pickup for our needs then the one we originally thought we wanted. Best car-buying experience I’ve ever had! The salesman, Nicholas was very attentive, professional and he knew EVERYTHING about the Pilot. I find that sometimes the differences in the levels of the vehicle can be a bit confusing but he knew ALL of the differences and was very patient in explaining them to me. He also printed off a page so I could refer to it while we talked. I asked for a runningboards to be added to the new Pilot and they were able to make that happen while I was still working through the paperwork. Nicolas stuck with us through the whole process and kept us updated on everything that was happening. The financial manager, Gabriel was equally knowledgeable and professional. He explained the warrantee options very clearly. The sales manager, Tim was very clear on everything. The communications were excellent. I know I got a very fair market price. And, I actually enjoyed buying this vehicle and that’s not always some thing that can be said! I would definitely recommend this particular dealer. Class A+ all the way!
I would give zero stars if I could I had a blown engine took it in for warranty work they knew they weren’t gonna cover it but instead charge me a diagnostic and then charge me for an oil change on a blown engine they never even did a oil change on they also lost my car twice and then additionally lost my car keys don’t go here it’s a scam they prey on young females because they think they don’t know what they’re talking they never even filed a claim with my warranty company when the whole motor was covered through warranty I was told I had Metal flakes in my oil and they save them for me these metal flakes are nonexistent and never put with my paper work for pick up And for this oil change they left the old filter on and dirty oil in the engine rip off of 90 bucks I took the car to a shop up the street and what a amazing job they did no thanks to Honda I have asked for a service manager to call me many times and never got a phone call back go somewhere else for service

Considering the circumstances with global issues, on production and availability, I left their appreciating Dana, my sales guy, who was extremely helpful. But I also appreciated Ali, in finance who has the difficult task of folks like us trying to be mindful in our purchase. Ali, was fantastic as well making our purchase low stress and respectful. If it were not for Alex in Service with nothing less than …..superb communication skills and customer service excellence I would not be a customer. I do not own a Honda; however, the 4 vehicles/ in particular the last two, he went as far and above to explain the service and worked with coupons and discounts to satisfy me completely. As I,person with over 200 Individuals under my direct supervision/advisory- Alex is a true example of service excellence with a tremendously positive disposition. Great experience. Easy drop off. My vehicle was ready before the promised time. There was confusion on a coupon I wanted to use and it turned out the coupon had expired, so they applied couple other coupons instead and the bill came out cheaper than I had originally planned for. Just a great group of people who work for a great company.

The quality of the work Pohanka does is always top notch. No high pressure tactics to get the recommended services done in addition to what you come in for. I appreciate the reminders and typically have them complete the services at the recommended intervals. The one thing I feel they could do to enhance customer service would be to inform customers of any discounts or promotions they have going on at the time of service. A 25% discount they were running would have made a $600 service much more reasonable. Unfortunately I didn’t see the email until the day after the service was completed.

The Service steam was wonderful to repair my CRV on Tuesday morning, Oct 12.I was headed back to Florida early that morning. My brand new (only had this 2021 CRV for 6 weeks) car would not start. And, the hood release would not work in order for my son-in-law to jump start the vehicle. Well, a quick call to Wes and he said bring it in. Had AAA send Tow Truck and to your Honda Facility we go.Check-in st Service Area was a breeze, and my car was headed back to Florida within a couple hours.Kudos to Wes and the service techs a job well done.Also, I would like to mention the sweet and caringLady near your sales department (her desk is closest to the waiting section / bathroom area. I forget her name, but she is also a great asset to your organization. She even found an employee with the same kind of charger to get my cell phone charged.Both of those gals are awesome and show shining customer service skills.Pohanka Honda gets an A+ from this happy customer ‼️

After checking my car in I never heard or saw the gentleman that checked me in. After an hour and half I went looking for him. He said he was doing the paperwork right then. It took another half hour for him to finish the paperwork. After 2 hours after checking in I was riding off the lot. The repair was done and I am happy with the job. I would like to say in the 17 years I have dealt with Pohanka Honda. This is the only time I have had problems. Overall they got 5 star ratings the rest of the time
Found a used vehicle online that was in their inventory and was able to purchase the vehicle over the internet and phone and they drove it to me and I signed paperwork at my house. Im not even rich its just the type of service they offer. Greatest car buying experience Ive ever had!

After running into car trouble on our way home from vacation, Sean at Pohanka went above and beyond to help us. First, he was kind and helpful on the phone! Then, he was able to secure a loaner for our party of 6. When we arrived at the dealer on a busy Friday evening, he greeted us happily, got our vehicle in first thing the next morning, and kept us updated as work was being done! We were on our way home early Saturday afternoon with my vehicle running like new. As a Honda owner for 20 years, I have worked with several dealerships and this was by far my best experience! I wish we lived closer!
Friendly service very professional. My service advisor Chichi Ndeokwelu was very helpful. Do not know of another dealership that you can pull into at 430 pm and get a repair done this quickly. The service area was very busy when i arrived but their service dept got me taken care of promptly as promised by Chichi. I opted to leave my vehicle and wait for a call from Chichi, he called me within 2 hours to advise me of what the problem was and the cost, i approved the repair and he told me he would call when my Pilot repair was completed, within an hour he called me back to let me know my Pilot was ready to be picked up.Very happy!
Went in to purchase a van with cash in hand. We spoke with Dana prior to showing up and were told that he had a couple of vehicles picked out for us. We show up and ask for Dana and told that Isiah would be our salesperson. We went through several different vehicles, and decided on one. Isiah, did not appear to be too interested in making a sale, he spent much of his time speaking to managers and getting information. Isiah started helping out another customer while in the middle of one of those information runs (literally at the table next to us).While waiting for financing, we were contacted by Dana who was asking where we were and informed us he had found a van that would better fit our needs. Dana seemed highly motivated to sell us a van that had been traded in, not inspected, and listed as not available for sale. We expressed our interest in purchasing it, even if it meant waiting a few days for inspections and paperwork to go through. We were told it could be delivered to us (we live 2 hours away from the dealership). All of this we were cool with.By this time, we were juggling two different sales people, telling us two different things. We mentioned to Isiah, that we were interested in the van that Dana showed us. He informed us that he was not allowed to sell us the vehicle and that he would need special permission from his manager to work with us on it. We told him that Dana said he could sell us the van, Isiah told us his manager was in a meeting and couldnt be disturbed.We walked out at this point. My wife spoke with Dana, told him if anything changes to let us know. Two hours later, we were informed by Dana that he had sold the van to someone else.We were there for almost 3 hours, hungry to buy a vehicle and were turned away for what appears to be no reason.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Just a bunch of crooked liars and thieves! If I were you, I would thoroughly check what warranties they may have PACKED your payments with. They are also increasing the price of the car for “mark ups” just because. Plenty of changes were made in my paperwork without my knowledge. I was quoted a much higher monthly payment than what I could have paid without the expensive stuff they tagged on without my consent (almost $100 a month more). Take someone with you so that you have a witness to hearing what it is they told you… because it could change WITHOUT your knowledge in your paperwork and cost you thousands!!!!! Very shady and downright illegal business practices and they lie and lie to cover their tracks. Drive a little further out to find a better Honda dealership!
I really appreciate the service department at Pohanka Honda. Their service department is one of the best Ive ever dealt with and is among the reasons I choose to buy Hondas. They are honest, fast, customer focused and genuinely try to help.

My daughter and I were on a 400 mile road trip in our CRV. While on I95 the safety shield under our car broke loose. We were so fortunate to find this dealership in Fredericksburg, Va. Nate Schmidt Was amazing to deal with, attentive eager to help your talents sir are wasted at this dealership; perhaps the people around you should take notes.Jonathan, for his sake we will leave out his last name, was oblivious and I get it the wheeling and dealing isn’t completely up to the salesman.However upon purchase promises we’re made to arrange hail damage repairs and I never received a single phone call. After some emails with Nate he took care of everything got us lined up with rental vehicle and service department.Now for the service and parts department, I spent over 10 years in the automotive aftermarket parts industry and when parts are ordered and arrive I called every customer to let them know their parts had arrived. When your promised a phone call when parts arrive, and I end up three weeks after the initial order was placed I have to be the one to call be put on hold 6 times and not call once but call twice between two days to get answers and make sure the parts arrived that’s pathetic.Ray O’Bryhim and his team should be ashamed and Honda should really to some soul searching.Not to mention Judea Horn never once returned a phone call, general sales manager my hind end.Cory in financing was amazing.Viviana was awesome .Nate was phenomenal.I feel terrible for these three because their efforts are overshadowed by the overall negative experience we have had at Pohanka if Fredericksburg.Last time I ever use a pohanka dealership.

I would recommend anyone close to Pohanka for getting the car serviced there. They are really good and have awesome customer service. I live in Richmond but bought my car from there and always drive there to get my car serviced. In my last service, the customer service agent even explained me with sample on how my car tyres are right now and when should I replace them.

Ive been everywhere with my car. I swore there was something wrong with it. Ive spent so much money getting things fixed that dont need to be fixed by other mechanics. I came in unannounced around 730 pm and was greeted by Alex. Alex was the most understanding and knowledgeable advisor Ive ever met. Once my car was brought in and was told that there wasnt anything wrong with it. I swore there was. What had happened next Ill never forget. I was introduced to the technician Shawn. He went on a test drive with me, he showed me the entire underneath of my car and explained everything inside and out. Shawn and Alex are incredible. Its so difficult to find a place to get your car fixed that you can trust. After this visit which was worth the time and money, Ill never bring my car to any other place. We had a great experience at Pohanka - I had a specific used car that I was interested in, and it looked even better in person than it did online. Isiah with the sales team was very patient with me as I made the decision, and then made sure the car was detailed, taking care of a specific scuff that we saw on the car and putting on our plates before we were even done with signing the paperwork. They even stayed way past closing to make sure we were able to finish everything in one trip as we were coming from an hour away. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are so grateful for their amazing service and patience with us! EDITED to add: the morning after driving home with our vehicle, the financing team reached out and let us know they got us an even better rate. Knowing that we were an hour away, they offered to drive the paperwork to us for us to sign, free of charge. Hats off to Pohanka for the best service that we could have ever asked for!

Very unprofessional and horrible communication. I went in for a simple state inspection and was told they would call me for an update but never got one. I had to call them and the guy who was helping me (Allen) had apparently left for the day and no one new about my car. Finally got my car back and went to Firestone instead.Today, my boyfriend dropped off his car for a state inspection and Allen was helping him. My boyfriend had to repeatedly tell him that he only needed the state inspection done and nothing else. And 5 hours later we did not receive any call or text regarding the car so we called the service center and they had no idea what was going on, again. The team member returned to the phone to say that Allen left for the day and we had to talk him into finding out what’s going on with the car. He put us on hold for awhile just to be told that the car’s completion time is supposed to be 8am the following day. It would’ve been nice to know and before we could ask how we would be contacted when the car was finished the employee hung up.This is unacceptable. Honda’s team needs to learn how to communicate with customers and have better customer service.

I arrived on Friday night after work to drop my car off for an “A 1” service and was told they were only taking drop offs for tomorrow morning. I drove an hour and a half for my service, so I went inside and talked to the Service Director to see if there was any way to squeeze me in since I was from out of town. This had never happened in the 10 years I’ve been driving there for my services or I would have called before coming. He went and talked to the service crew and thankfully they were able to service my car. So grateful to ChiChi, the service director, and the entire team for accommodating me. They still completed their check and gave me an update on my tire life and brake life, which I have always appreciated. Much better than the other dealer closer to home that told me it would be $140 upfront just to look at my car (the wiper stopped turning during the last snowstorm and needed an adjustment), then came out telling me about all things that needed to be done to my vehicle that had already been done if they took the time to see my service history on the My Honda website. Believe me, it is worth the drive to have an honest dealer service your car. The wait was longer than it normally was, but they completed my service when they said they would and still washed my car. Thank you again Pohanka!

I have always had a very positive experience each time I take my car in for servicing. I have been a Honda CRV owner since the year 2000. The service technicians at Pohanka Honda do a really good job of listening to your concerns and making sure that you as a customer are satisfied with the outcome. The dealership staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. My only suggestion for Pohanka Honda would be to advertise to customers that are loyal to the brand that they can receive a discount each time they come in for services. Senior discounts are also a great way to ensure continued customer loyalty.
We leased a new pilot seven months ago and it was due for its first oil change and tire rotation. I pulled into the service lane behind at least five other cars. Although I didnt have an appointment, Alex Khoury quickly wrote up the servicing and had me out of there in about an hour and did it efficiently even while instructing trainee service writers. Alex is one of the best Ive had the pleasure of dealing with. I would recommend Pohanka to anyone. Thanks Alex.

This was one of the best experiences Ive had buying a vehicle. The process all the way through never felt like I was being sold something that I didnt need or want. I got exactly what I wanted. Even though I say Im a young 35 todays technology had me thrown. The vehicles now are full of this technology and pohanka does a fabulous job of making sure you are comfortable with all of it. We were thrilled to work with Cecilia, Brian, & Jared. My husband called inquiring about a particular car you had and we ended up finding the one we really wanted. We spoke on the phone several times with Cecilia since we were 200 miles away. She was able to arrange our trade, additional accessories we wanted, & getting our finance documents in order. The parts & accessory department was able to get everything installed in a day & we made the trip from Pennsylvania to come pick it up. We were terribly disappointed to not meet Cecilia in person since she was amazing to work with, but she arranged for us to meet with Brian & Jared. Jared made the financial details painless & Brian did a great job going over the features of the car. We will happily drive down again when we are ready for our next Honda. Every person we met was so kind & it was a great buying experience!

This is the only Honda dealership I trust. I’ve tried others and it seems my car always leaves with more problems than I came in with. Mechanic technician Jason Reynolds is fantastic. He knows his stuff and gets the work done as quickly as possible so you’re waiting as little as possible. Highly recommend requesting him. He is the only one I now trust to touch my car at all.

Nick cash is a great sale person. He made my daughter and myself very comfortable with the entire car buying experience. This was my daughters first time buying a car. He was very good at explaining and answering her questions and helping her determine what car she wanted.
The service representative Mikayla was very helpful and kind. He explained what services would be covered under my extended warranty and what would be the final cost of my service. (Edit) Since my below review I was able to sit with the service manager and director. We were able to discuss the events and what occurred as well as a path forward. Due to their professionalism and reasonability I will look to them to service my vehicle in the future. I trust that it will not happen again and if I am so unlucky for it to happen again, then I know that it will not be treated with such indifference. Mistakes happen and it is up to the customer and the employees to level with each other, which is exactly what was able to happen today. Thank you Pohanka Honda.(Original) I went for an inspection along with a full detailing of the interior and exterior (2019 Honda Accord). When I went to get in my vehicle I noticed a significant dent near my gas cap. Its understandable that mistakes happen, but the severity of the dent, and how my service advisor handled it, makes me wish to never return there. If you do decide to take your car here then make sure you do a walk-around prior to leaving the lot, because they sure wont tell you if they are at fault.
They are doing nothing during a pandemic to protect their customers who are looking to purchase vehicles. I test drove two vehicles this week that were both filthy from the previous owners, one Im sure had feces on the seat and seat belt, probably from a child in a car seat whose diaper leaked. All the dirt was visible and in plain sight, including food crumbs on the carpet. Youd think a dealership would take care to clean and disinfect used vehicles before offering them for sale or at least wipe them down after a test drive. Apparently not; they parked them back on the lot after my test drive where they were when I got there. I couldnt wait to get home so I could take a shower and change clothes!
Friendly customer service, but only empty promises. Didnt do the work they promised, didnt even wash the vehicle after they offered. But at least they were polite until they started ignoring me!
The service at Pohanka has always been top notch. Ive been satisfied every time I come. Not only that they open up like 0530 morning and close at like 10pm. Who else does that. Good and very friendly folks. 👍🏾

The whole experience was horrible. My father took his car to this dealership for repair June 14, 2021 and was told that the vehicle would be ready for pick up in 1 week. Seven days passed, he called the office, and no one was able to provide him with a status update. This cycle continued for 4 weeks, and finally my father was told that contaminated fuel was the problem. Once the mechanic emptied the tank and refueled the vehicle, the car was fixed. However, it would cost $4,000. When my father asked the manager why it costs so much, his response was “It’s not my fault you got bad fuel”. Then the question was why it took almost 5 weeks to determine that the fuel was the problem. Then, I attempted to ask a question and was told by the manager that I could not speak. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. Please do not disrespect customers or their family. We will never return or recommend this place.
Needed a van for my growing family and Kim took care of my wife and I. Was extremely patient with us as we had to bring our newborn along. Made the trade in process extremely smooth. We were happy with the assessed value of the vehicle we were trading in. After the deal was done on the floor Emily the finance manager clearly and concisely walked us through final paperwork double and triple checking with us that everything was as we had been told and got us out of there in our new minivan that we love. Quick and painless trip to Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg that left us leaving happy in the new vehicle we wanted and needed. Kudos to Kim and Emily - thank you!
Bought two brand new vehicles on same day from Pohanka and was told the first service is free. Took the Ridgeline in for the first service and was told the recommended first service is oil and oil filter change and tire rotation. Service writer said only the oil is free so I had to pay $35. for the remainder of service. Was promised a free car wash but car wash was not done. Right on the bill I received it states that oil and filter is free for first service visit. Had an appointment but service took 2 hrs and 10 minutes, and was told that even though I had an appointment, it really isnt an appointment as first come, first served.
Sunday visit for starter/battery. Advisor/mechanic were great. I won’t hesitate to go back.
This appointment was simply a safety inspection - which was handled courteously and expeditiously. This vehicle was our second Odyssey purchased from Pohanka, and both sales and service have been excellent!
I have always experienced honesty and fair pricing from this dealership. I recently took in my car as it was leaking transmission fluid and was hoping for an easy fix but I was also prepared for really bad news (my car has over 100k miles on it) and I was pleasantly surprised to learn it was just the filter and a hose, which was only 1/10 of the cost what I was bracing myself to hear - a new transmission or rear main seal.I will also add that my first experience with them was when I first bought my car (not fromPohanka) and wanted them to do an oil change and full inspection since it was 3 years used. They came back and said the car was fine but it was ready for a break fluid replacement. I had to be in Newport News the next morning so rather than waiting at Pohanka, I took my car to Hall Acura to service the transmission when I was down there and Hall came back with a massive laundry list of other recommendations that Pohanka never mentioned. I only did what Pohanka recommended and I’ve now had my car for 4 years now and I continue to have good experiences with them.
I am in awe at how amazing the service I received at Pohanka Honda was. I was welcomed by a wonderful woman, Sandy, that set me up with a great salesman Raymond. Raymond went above and beyond for helping me purchase my first car. He built such great rapport with my father and I and it meant a lot to me since this was such an important step into adult hood. Raymond made sure all of my needs were met and he was very thorough in the explanation of everything that went with car buying. Corey from financing was wonderful as well. He was also very thorough in explaining this important process with me and helped make sure that I was making the right decision. Raymond had Joe, the product specialist, show me all the electronics of my car, which I never thought I would receive that care. Joe was super helpful with teaching me how to work my car and the special features that it has. The day following my purchase I received a call from both Sandy and Raymond following up, which I was very thankful for. I couldnt recommend Pohanka Honda enough and am so happy with the immaculate service that I received. Everyone there made my first car purchase the easiest thing I couldve imagined!
Having any work done at Pohanka is an overall good experience from the greeting of the Pohanka service person after you drive in through the timely updates of where the mechanics work is at the time and when he expects to be completed (also immediate and understandable briefs on any unforeseen problems that the mechanics run into which may require attention-but decision is always left up to the customer).When the work is completed the service person explains all the particulars on the invoice that he presents you with prior to payment. He/she always takes the time to answer all questions that I may have about the work and the charges.No one likes to pay for auto repair/maintenance, but one thing I do know when I am leaving with my car I have received good and necessary work/repairs that was done by conscientious mechanics, and explained all the way by an attentive service person and I am very satisfied.
I had a good experience buying a used Toyota Sienna. Kimberly was great. I was given plenty of space to thoroughly check over the car. She answered all my questions and concerns in a no pressure way. I never felt rushed. Once we got to the actual deal, the process went quickly. Maybe took a little over an hour for all the paperwork. I thought the car was fairly priced and they were fair on my trade.
After driving my vehicle earlier, later on i went out and my would not start. I immediately called and explained at Pohanka Fredericksburg, Brian took my info and recommended a towing company. My vehicle was delivered to Pohanka Fredericksburg and Brian explained and kept me in the loop about all that was going on with my vehicle.Totally satisfied and will certainly be a repeat customer!!!

I had an absolutely wonderful car buying experience with these guys. Particularly the salesman Rasulullah Harris. He was one of the most cordial, helpful, and the furthest thing from your stereotypical car salesman you can find. I highly recommend shopping at this site and recommend asking for Rasulullah!
