Definitely worth the drive if you are thinking of visiting. The outlet runs percentages off certain items, i.e sofas, dining, etc. The tags as marked as usually not so far from retail prices, unless there is significant damage. We picked up some awesome bar stools and saved a few hundred dollars, with nothing appearing to be wrong with them. Great store- will definitely be back.
Customer service was excellent, Jody, Thank you ! The chairs work great, the rug matchs perfect. Good eye for detail
Central Park, 1731 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, Fredericksburg, Completely disappointed, the furniture has damages, nobody knows how to answer your questions. The manager didnt honor the prices or gave us a discount for a piece that came in 2 boxes. The furniture is overprice. It seems that doesnt matter if youre right, the customer for them is always wrong. I am surprise if they stay opened.
You might find THE DEAL. You will find a lot of overpriced beat up stuff that you don’t need. Great place for bedding/linens/hardwares/decor...furniture is a little more selective. But fun to walk through if you’re in the area. Might find a red hot deal.
Would not let my 5 yr old use their restrooms despite the fact that they clearly have facilities available. If this is how you are going to treat customers, you should consider another line of work. I will not be spending a dime in this store. Hey management, get a clue.
So discover something about this place the discounts they claim to give you isnt really a discount at all, I had been in and found the table that I wanted it was 884 and please let me say first that this place is way over priced and this why, so I see the table sofa 884 I ask how much with the discount the store clerk tells me 698 which is not 40% off, so the next day I go to pottery barn website to see if they have it and maybe its a bit cheaper on the website for the table is 699.00, I was told in store the original price is 884.00, they jack up the price so people end up paying the same price an outlet store is a discount store on original price, but the store does not do that instead they jack up the prices so that people get no discount and they take advantage of that I will never go in there again
First, to be upfront and clear, I never actually visited this store so its not about a shopping experience. However, my wife and received a West Elm gift card as a wedding present and called the store to confirm that they would accept it, as West Elm gift cards--West Elm being a Williams-Sonoma brand--are accepted at all W-S brands, including Pottery Barns. However, we called to make sure the outlet accepted gift cards and were told by a manager, twice (my wife called and then, just because Im THAT person, I called too), that they will accept Pottery Barn gift cards only. So a Pottery Barn gift card, like a West Elm card, is accepted by all W-S brands, but the OUTLET will only accept a POTTERY BARN gift card. The manager was very friendly and offered her sympathies, but since the store doesnt follow other Williams-Sonoma brand rules for gift cards, it meant there was no reason for us to visit the store while we were passing through Fredericksburg. Thank heavens we called first to check!
Decent selection of items but I feel theyre way over priced.
Clearly have public restrooms that they awkwardly roped off and not allowing for public use anymore. Ill buy my discounted overpriced furniture elsewhere.
Pottery Barn will allow you in the store to spend money but recommend McDonalds to use the restroom.
I spent an hour digging through their carefully curated piles of broken junk and mislabeled boxes to find the perfect item I was finally ready to purchase for a still too high price. When I finally approached the register I was informed that the item was discontinued and could not be sold to me, rather it would be donated. Beyond frustrating but honestly why should I be surprised, full priced Pottery Barn has become a customer service nightmare as well.
While shopping my daughter had to use the restroom and I was told to take her to McDonald’s. So as I was about to spend money here which by the way is not a cheap place to shop I just left because they wouldn’t let my 5 year old use the restroom. I get it’s a pandemic but this is the only place I’ve seen where they won’t allow the customers to use the restroom. The lady was quite rude about it as well. No wonder this place has horrible reviews.
Currently day 672 of waiting in the car for my mom. She said she would take a quick look, but I have been desperately waiting every day since. Idk what is so cool abt pottery, but please send help!!!
Selection is great. The entire PB staff has always been very pleasant and professional. I will definitely continue to shop there.
Reasonable prices on limited items. Dont head there with one thing in mind; head there with an open mind.
Purchased a beautiful three seater sofa and love seat. Staff was great. The manager was extremely kind and helpful. Will definitely be returning!
Did not find much to see.
Sort of a disappointment. Not much pottery but lots of mismatched furniture. Lots of lamps and stuff like that. Not very large for this type of store.
I found so many gems here. I found a desk, chair, desk lamp, and two rugs. I got such great deals for good quality. I love this outlet! Also, the customer service here is better than regular PB stores.
Great store, great prices, and great employees! Love just dropping in to see what they have new. Store is very organized, lots of great buys, and the employees there go above and beyond. Always greeted with a smile and a hello and it doesnt stop there. They are always helpful and assist you, the employees give you 100% of their time. Thanks, Joyce B. Fay
I called the outlet in Fredericksburg, VA for some information. The employee who answered the phone spoke very fast (almost to the point of being incomprehensible) and then quickly placed me on hold before I could say a word. I remained on hold for a very long time. When she finally came back to the phone and I asked a question, she remained silent and didnt say anything. At first, I thought my phone was mute, but it wasnt. The employee remained silent even though I kept saying hello hello can you hear me which left me with no option but to hang up the phone. Terrible and unprofessional.
I appreciate the genuine support I always get from this store. I think on the surface it may seem deceiving because a lot of really great furniture is packed into an old gross store that doesn’t match the PB Brand - but that’s only topical. The PB staff, especially Storm, are always beyond professional and helpful. Even when I faced a challenge with an order the staff helped me resolve it and make it right. They’ve even texted me pictures of furniture to help answer my questions. The team is sincere and provides exceptional customer support. They are the reason I keep going back and continue to furnish my house with all kinds of great finds.
After ordering a couch in November and being told it would take 3 months to deliver, I have since been notified that it will be another 4 months (for a total of 7 months) before delivery. When multiple requests for an explanation went unanswered and over 2 hours on the phone with corporate office, they can still not provide any reason for the delay because they say their manufacturer hasnt responded in over a week. They first stated the only refund could be given in store credit. I also purchased a matching coffee table for the couch, which now will not match because the couch will not be delivered in even close to a timely manner. And this headache cost me thousands of dollars and hours of time. I wont spend one dollar the rest of my life at this store. Not because of the delay only, but because of the hurdles and denials created by the company in failing to correct the mistake. Unheard of level of poor service for a company of this stature. The simply fact is I contracted with Pottery Barn for a product and their excuse for not delivering on said contract is that the third party they chose to use to manufacture has not responded to them. Buyer beware. If they fail to deliver what you paid for, the burden to recoup your expenses will be on you and legal action will likely need to be threatened by you to receive any response.
We bought a beautiful leather ottoman/coffee table with gorgeous gold nails for less than 60% of the retail. The same ottoman was still on the floor in the Annapolis, Maryland, Pottery Barn for more than $1,100. We paid about $450 for the same thing, brand new, boxed. Cant beat that! Yes, this is an outlet; it is not the fun adventure of viewing the chic displays in the regular PB --- but, once you know what you want --- review products in the regular store and online --- go hunt. These are not seconds. And, the staff was TREMENDOUSLY HELPFUL. Many thanks, and Best Wishes.
Very helpful. I was able to find a bookcase to accommodate my Christmas village. May have to go back and get a second one.
Always Excellent Deals here💗😁
Great staff but prices have gone up dramatically since first opening. Also, a little bit junky - big bins of pillowcases and sheets that might sell if they are displayed better. Again, nice people working in the store - very helpful, and I love to visit, I just think it needs a bit more polish.
By chance my husband spotted the store while we were eating at the Chick-Fil-A across the street. He might regret it!! Weve since made two major purchases there. We saved so much on the items and they were in new condition. The main reason Im writing this review though is because the staff is absolutely phenomenal. They know their merchandise and will help you find what you are looking for in the store. We had a delivery issue with one item that was shipped to us and the managers were diligent in getting a replacement to me. They even called to apologize for the delay. I am so impressed by their team - they get what true customer service looks like. And they look like they are enjoying their jobs!
The workers there are great and my experience has always been great. They have a large selection of furniture so youre bound to find something you like. Its the same with lightning and mirrors etc.
Waste of time and unhelpful staff. We wanted to buy an item that was showcased on the floor and listed at $250 original price but was missing the outlet price sticker. The same item was only $90 on the PB website, so we asked an employee if they knew the outlet pricing. The employee told us tto wait there and he would see what they could do for us. He never returned. We waited 15 minutes and then went to find him. He was at the front of the store doing other things and never even bothered to follow up with us.Always check the online pricing because the outlet prices always seem jacked up super high.
I am not sure why Pottery Barn would even open an outlet like this one. It’s a complete unorganized mess with no pricing on most of the merchandise. I have been to several other Pottery Barn outlet stores and they are all like actual stores with everything priced to move quickly. The PBK area was in disarray and you really couldn’t even walk through it because there was so much stuff everywhere. My mom said the restroom was disgusting too. Most of the merchandise is furniture. It was a complete waste of time.
My sister and I visited on Saturday. We live in Fairfax. She got gorgeous drapes and a bath set for pennies compared to usual prices. Staff was helpful. I am already planning a trip back to buy a chair to match my pb sofa!
For this to be a outlet the prices are just as high as the regular store items...🤔
Great customer service, while merchandise may still be expensive..remember youll be getting GREAT QUALITY Pottery barn furniture for a lesser price. Greg helped us out this Sunday--he was the best!! Will definitely be back.
The prices were good as most items were discounted from the regular Pottery Barn prices and then an additional 40% discount taken off your entire order. The layout was a bit inconvenient and it was difficult to locate and ascertain if they had certain items in stock, especially for boxed items. I was disappointed that despite a fairly robust selection, they didnt have the particular items I was looking for.
Not impressed. High prices and kind of a mess trying to bc find anything. We went in to look for beds, but were informed that they only had partial beds like headboards. The displays they were selling were damaged and there was just a lot of boxes stacked. It is kind of like an open box warehouse sale. I dont expect them to last very long.
I wish it was easier to shop there. There seem to be lots of merchandise but with slow internet connection and its a challenge to see stocked items.
A very big place with tons of furniture and a section of bedding, devote, etc. The problem is that most items have NO PRICE and there arent employees around to help. Its a lot of work, and as someone who loves to hunt for bargains this was just not worth it.
Lots of cool household items and nice employees.
Neat place. Staff is particularly unhelpful with pricing, current promotions, and general assistance — but plenty of furniture. There is definitely a heavy focus on furniture with a much smaller area for PBK/PBT items and general PB housewares. The best deals are on a “last chance” type shelf. Scored a PBK Halloween costume for $11 for my daughter. Everything seemed in great, new condition. My understanding is promos change on Wednesdays. Was not crowded and plenty of parking.
A lot of various options. Worth the stop.
This is unlike any other outlet I have visited. Everything in piles. Not much to find. Dont imagine it will last.
Showed up and the doors were closed even though it stated on their door it was open. Tried to call but nobody answered. A person walked up after us and looked like he worked there but wouldnt go inside. We left and then he went inside after we drove around the store. What kind of place is this? No thanks, Pottery Barn...well spend our thousands elsewhere.
Great sales. Nice sales people.
We have got many lights and they have been absolutely wonderful the staff is amazing.
Great and friendly staff! Best deals ever.
Excellent prices here with a large variety of options. A little sporadic at times but if you want to save a buck this place is highly recommended.
If they have what youre looking for youre lucky. If they dont its a wasted stop.
This place is a mess, impossible to find anything. I understand its an outlet store, but the lack of organization makes shopping extremely difficult.
What a ridiculous set of experiences Ive had with this store....every single one of them have exhibited nothing but the poorest of customer service and more accurately, questionable practices. On our very first visit there, we spent over $2,000, over two different transactions. On the second, smaller transaction, the cashier suggested we sign up for a PB credit card, so ....we hesitatingly did after the General Manager said she would void out the initial (debit card) purchase, and by Monday (the visit was on a Saturday), it would be like this never happened. Long story short, a week and a half later....it was still VERY MUCH like it happened, because not only had my debit card NOT been refunded, but I now also had that same amount on the PB credit card we had signed up for. I had to make another 100+ mile round trip to stand in front of the General Manager while a combination of her and someone at their support center fumbled through how to void those transactions. This took 90+ minutes of bouncing back and forth between all of their available POS systems (because half of them dont work). It took an additional four days for the largest transaction to be refunded (almost two weeks after the initial transaction). At that same visit, I asked the manager to confirm a delivery window of 10am - 2pm on the following Saturday. Now, fast forward to that Saturday....at 12:30pm, I receive a call stating that they only have 3 of 6 items on the truck, and didnt see the other items listed for delivery on the receipt....even though my copy of the receipt clearly showed I had paid for delivery of ALL 6 items. Finally, after 30 minutes of back-and-forth over the phone, Im told they have everything but the bookcase; long story short....they couldnt find the bookcase and would never confirm that the bookcase I had paid for had not been sold to another customer (if you visit this store, youll see how its chaotic, disorganized management totally lends itself to someone purchasing an item you have already paid for). Finally, my wife and I, out of pure frustration and disgust, call them back and demand a full refund. Well, calling them at all is an additional challenge in and of itself, as (by their own admission) their phonse system has problems...youll often just go straight to a busy message. After an additional hour of back-and-forth between the Manager and the cashier who I made the original transaction with, I was given a refund. BUT WAIT,...THERES MORE! Out of my absolute absence of trust but complete suspicion in this store, I closely scrutinized the refund receipt and found they had shorted me $125!!!! So....back I go through the pain of trying to reach them on the phone again (not wanting to make another 100+ mile roundtrip), and yes....I was finally given an additional refund for the correct amount...BUT DAMN!!!! You spend a few thousand dollars in their store and you get treated like this??? Nope, I wont, and I would caution you not to either.#donewithpotterybarn
Lots of great pottery barn stuff at discount prices. But be prepared to dig around.
A few nice things, but not very reduced
Got a loft bed
Outrageous prices for products made in China, also lied to all their employees about getting full time hours. Ill be happy when they close fredericksburg doesnt need stores like this.
True warehouse but still pretty high prices.
Prices not that good. Store seemed dingy and over packed. No real organization to items. No one seemed available to help
Always a great bargain on quality merchandise
Stupid overpriced, but nice furniture and huge selection.
Really hard to find things. But the prices were great.
Nice place! Has a weird variety of stuff.
Meh, not much of a price break for outlet.
Hard pass for me. I know its an outlet, but the prices are really high for what you get in my opinion.
Tons of stuff but you have to dig to find stuff. Prices make it worth it though. Bring a truck!
Not worth it.
Mainly an overstock kids furniture and rugs. Do NOT expect to see any pottery here despite the name
Exactly this location was a disappointment.
Best store ever!
Way over priced for an outlet crazy expensive. Half of the stuff is piled where you cant even walk through and look. Dont waist your time.
Unloaded fast
Over-priced / poor quality
Average selection and prices a little high
Meh
Amazing
Great deals!!!
