Great selection of books, toys, games for kids. A little Cafe thats good to eat at. A little over priced my option but really cant compete with Amazon now-a-days.

Love the variety of books. With a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. They carry a large variety of novelty merchandise as well. Everything from horror to fan fiction. Which is awesome if you love that kind of thing. (I Do, keep adding Potter stuff please!) The store is clean and well laid out. It felt like if Barnes and Noble had a lovechild with Hot topic then this would be the incredible result.Whether its stopping by to check out the Harry Potter section, checking out the latest horror memorabilia or just finding the next book whos pages I can get lost in, this bookworm will keep coming back for more!

Horrible staff! Their attitude is beyond unpleasant and unprofessional, specially one of the ladies on the check-out counter. I was looking for a book and they didnt have it available, the lady told me she was sorry for the inconvenience and said she could place an online order for me with FREE shipping. I said great, and agreed. When I was ready to pay she then wanted me to pay for the membership in order to give me free shipping, to which I told her no, because she didnt said anything about a membership (which was more expensive than the actual shipping). She then gave me an attitude, and refused to give me the free shipping she had already promised. I, then, went to their online portal to order the book and their service was still horrible, took almost 3 months to receive the book that the website said was on stock. Never doing business here, my advice: go to Barnes & Nobles, never had a bad experience with them.

Has every book you could think of, I ended up getting a book that looked really good at a great price when I didnt even plan on getting a book at all. Love the place too, very clean and has an amazing and large variety of books.

I generally shop for books regularly on Amazon or at the Central Park Barnes & Noble but today my daughter and I decided to stop here. But I was quickly reminded of why I do not shop here and have only gone to this location once or twice before since they opened.The assortment of items seems to have improved but the service is still below average. No one greeted either of us and the two women working on the salesfloor were standing super close to us and said absolutely nothing. Both women literally walked in front of us and didnt say hello or bother to ask if we needed help. It was very rude and quite unprofessional.When I got to the register to pay for our books, the young man was friendly and I thanked him for being pleasant as I mentioned no one had greeted us etc previously. He then turned stone faced and said nothing, no apology, no I am so sorry that you had that experience.Needless to say I will be spending my money at Barnes and Noble where the staff is friendly and helpful, or on Amazon where I need not encounter individuals who cannot be bothered to display basic manners.

Quiet, nicely maintained for covid guidelines. Friendly staff. They have EVERYTHING. I think prices are sometimes better than Barnes and Noble.

This is a great place to find so many nice gifts or cards, ie puzzles, books etc.I get gift certificates for kids and let them go for it! Also nice CoVid seating to peruse books and magazines.

Thus place had so much amazing books nd items.

A good selection of different kinds of books. However I use a wheelchair and it can be very difficult to fit between aisles. I dont even bother trying to look through the middle section.

Very cool, love manga, cash money

Enormous selection, engaging staff and a peaceful environment to browse literature from and about everywhere. Im a big fan of graphic novels and comics. The selection is great for a chain store. I can spend less and get lots more than one might expect from a retail chain. Always have great discounted books as well.

They told my husband they will buy used books, used books they resell for nothing less then $10.00. He brought 15 books, well known authors all in mint condition, as were the dust covers. They offered him .20 a book. Mind you they told him they would buy them for $5. I told him to be prepared for a low ball offer, but .20. They lost all of our future business.

Always fun to wonder around. New & used books, great coffee, can always find a deal. Perfect place to find a gift. Only wish is that they would clean the kid corner a bit better (like carpet clean) and easier to find a price when no sticker.

Beware of the magazine scam when you check out. Would you like a free magazine? Sure whos doesnt want something free. Until they charge my card I used at the store $82 bucks for 2 magazine subscriptions. Seems when the nice lady checked me out she failed to mention I was going to pay for them 2 months later. My fault, I should have known nothing is free, but it would have been nice if I was warned.

Before, I had simply passed this place by without ever stepping foot inside of it, but after FINALLY going there today with my 2 nephews and niece, needless to say, well be coming back next week. We went there because it was Batman Day, and I wanted to take the kids to go see what they had to offer. Man! I was blown away by this place! The stuff they have there, and the ambiance is so much more delightful than Barnes & Nobles. They have magical spell books on their door handles for Petes Sake! Lol. Yeah that might not seem like much, but lemme tell ya, its those little things that make the difference. The staff was very friendly, and helpful! The layout was great for grabbing a book, and literally sitting on some comfortable steps to read your purchase. It was great! Then to top it off, they have comic books for sale as well. It was truly a place where a comic book aficionado like myself, and a Do It Yourself type of person could go in to get 1 thing, but get lost easily by the many other things offered there as well. Youve got to come see this place! You wont be disappointed.

The location has a large variety of genres and lots of gifts. They have a really decent café on site for your reading and sipping pleasure. Located across the parking lot from the Paragon theater and around the corner from the mall, it’s a great before and / or after stop in place. I recommend hanging out here sometime!

Good, big bookstore. They also have tons of used books which was a little unexpected for me as far as bookstores go. The only reason I rate lower than five stars is because the place didnt quite have a good enough selection of standard adult fiction books so there have been occasions where I have gone there and not found the books I was looking for. Id definitely recommend calling ahead and checking with them to see if they have what youre looking for (their website can be spotty too but thats not this locations problem).

Wonderful bookstore and great employees. Lots of book related gifts as well. Some are reasonably expensive but they are more elsewhere and they have lots on sale. Id say exactly the same if my baby girl didnt work there a couple of years and 2 nights a week. If she didnt, Id never have found the place but that doesnt change my review in the least. Oh, they have a non-Starbucks coffee shop too with lots of seating. REMEMBER TO TIP THE SERVER!

They only had two and I showed my son and they wanted one too!So I was hoping they still had one. Sure enough. I would show image of cookie but its an image from the Viper

The books aren’t overpriced and you can trade in books for money. They do make sure the books are in almost perfect condition. A really good place for really well priced books.

Went in to get two gift cards. Perused around the store. They have lots of stuff for all ages. Paige was fabulous at checkout. Very nice and helpful. I didnt fInd the newspaper section though. I just may have missed it?

This is one of my favorite book stores it has a great collection of books and collectibles. They also have a good selection of vinyl records for sale. The people here are super nice and very helpful.

I had to drive twice to the book (mind you its the holidays, a lot of traffice on this super rainy day) store because when I was in person two workers didnt understand what I was asking and instead of asking questions they just told me the items werent for sale. Neither employee asked me if I wanted to speak to the manger. I left, I had to be at other places for other gifts. After speaking to the manger on the phone, I was told the items were for sale and went back to pick them up. The manager was super friendly and very helpful.

Good bookstore. My only request is add a kiosk that will tell you where a book is, or to see if you have a book that Im looking for, instead of making us wait in line and have the employees look it up.

Very clean, BAM is well organized and easy to lose yourself in if you love the book experience. We have been going here for at least 14 years. They are very cozy in their layout and in my opinion do not feel like a chain. Rates are comparable and sometimes better. Its all about the feel and texture of books as well as the escape they provide by roaming through the pages of imagination and worlds. BAM provides a great escape and turn off of all the electronics around.

I love bookstores. People working didnt seem to be the friendliest. Nobody asked if we needed help or said anything when we came in but when we were rung up they wanted to sell us stuff? If customer service was better they would most likely have more memberships and magazine subscribers but when you walk into a store and nobody says anything to me that makes me want to turn back around and go pay the extra $ somewhere else. Just my personal opinion. When I go into barnes in noble located in central park Im greeted. Asked if I need help with anything. Inform on different promos. Very different feel when you walk in the store. If I have to pay an extra $2 i gladly will because i feel like its well earned.

Im impressed that during an age of e-books a bookstore like this is still in business and doing well. They have a great variety of books and other products as well as a nice coffee shop.

I enjoy this book store for several years. Their magazines are sorted so we can find what you are looking for quickly.

Quite a few options for books. I was a little disappointed that they didnt have a sbux inside. There is a coffee shop though. The employees were all very helpful in answering questions and pointing me to where I needed to go.

I love the size and selection in this store, the staff are great. My kids love it which is great in a time of everything online

I used to frequent the BAM up at Dupont Circle before it closed. I like this one so much, Ive been known to make a long trip passing plenty of other bookstores to get here. Staff is friendly, selection is decent, plus they have a coffee shop.
