Best customer service I’ve experienced in quite a while. My daughter’s charger broke inside her phone and T-Mobile sent me here after being unable to remove it. Tobey and Paula (hope I spelled their names right😅) were so pleasant and removed the pieces, cleaned the phone and made sure it was still charging properly. I’m so impressed with the quality & speed of service and was shocked when they did this all free of charge. God forbid someone in my household breaks their device again, I know where I’ll be going. Thank you all so much!!

I brought my laptop by to have it looked at. It was freezing, slow, and just acting quirky. I walked in at closing, so they kept it over night. My MacBook Pro was no longer charging and no longer booting. I took it to the Apple store in Woodbridge and their only troubleshoot was literally to just try and turn it on, then told me I’d need a new motherboard for $600+. I passed. THEY then told me about Experimax, and being only ~6min from the house I decided to give them a try. These guys are great, they reminded me of the AV/Tech guys I hung around with in high school, they know their stuff and are MORE than happy to troubleshoot and test everything. Long story short - it was determined to be a faulty motherboard and charged me *HALF* the cost Apple wanted. They said it’d take about 4 weeks to repair, I just got it back in under 2.5! NOW THAT COULD HAVE been the end to a happy story, however I expressed my concern that being without my work laptop would be detrimental to due dates and client projects. THEY GAVE ME A LOANER MACBOOK TO USE IN THE TIME BEING!!! They simply mirrored my harddrive, put in on the loaner and I never missed a beat. THAT is amazing customer service, and you’ve gained a customer for ALL my Apple products for life. Thank You!!

Amazing People!!!!! They Fixed my laptop fast!!!! I run my company from my laptop, when it broke it killed our ability to keep up with our work load. So much better then going to Apple store or somewhere else. They were not trying to sell me a bunch. Just got to the root. They had cases for my laptop... I work out of my truck. This laptop takes heavy punishment. This case is amazingly protective!!! The best part was I could touch and make sure the case worked without waiting for shipping or anything else. Recently took our IPhone 7 phones in for battery replacement. Everything was done while I waited and it took less than 30 minutes. Also took my wifes IPad in because I couldnt get it to accept updates or connect to the internet. Initially they thought it may have a battery issue, but after running some diagnostics, was able to get everything up and running. Plus they determined there wasnt a problem with the battery. For their time doing the diagnostic work, they didnt charge. I have complete confidence in them. Also the techs were extremely friendly and very easy to talk to. Ill be going back with any future computer needs.

I was heading to Microcenter to purchase an Apple laptop and a friend recommended that I check out Experimax. Dont be fooled by their changing their name by substituting an x at the end in a claim to provide excellent customer service. I went to pick up my computer today and waited while they helped customer after customer after customer who had walked in after me, by walking RIGHT PAST ME. I had two kids in masks as well. We have been going there for years and will never go there again.

When my current MacBook Pro (2016) died, they offered a great deal on a pre-owned, certified 2020 MacBook Pro. They got the new one up and running and very patiently addressed all my issues and concerns, which were many due to my lack of knowledge. They work as a team, theyre knowledgable, professional & patient. I have been a customer of the business since it opened several years ago.

Search no further for your computer/phone needs! I thought I had lost my 34,500+ photos and videos when my hard drive crashed in the wind storm (and it was on a surge protector). The machine was not repairable but they were able to salvage the hard drive for me. First time that Ive been to this store. I was very impressed with the professionalism displayed by the two reps there. They fixed my iPad in 20 min, and never charged me a cent. Had about 30 viruses on my laptop. I brought it in and they were able to clear all of the malware and viruses the same day. Apple also had a warranty for the screen on my laptop due to delamination. They made me aware of this and sent my laptop to Apple for no extra charge and the screen replacement was free through Apple.Overall great customer service, great prices. They charged me $100 for malware removal whereas Geek Squad wanted $150.Highly recommend.

I walked in and they took my completely shattered phone right back. I went to go eat. And an hour later it was ready. It is very affordable. I recommend this place before any other. The only problem I had is that my home button is just a tad bit loose.

I have had a great experience with the Fredericksburg, Experimac store. Ive been waiting for quite awhile for some MAC expertise to come into our area. I had a solid state hard drive installed in my laptop and it was a seamless transition. All my records, photos, data, etc. were transferred without a hitch in one day. (I actually sold them a laptop and phone to help defray the cost). I went back a few days later to ask for some advice about using Google Photo on my three devices. In each instance, both Gabe and Will treated me professionally and were very easy to work with. Now, if only I can get them to teach some classes!

I brought my MacBook Pro in after spilling an entire cup of coffee directly onto the keyboard. The entire area looked like an explosion in a Starbucks. There was coffee dripping from the keyboard, though my table onto the floor.I bought it in on a Friday morning and had it returned that night and fully functioning !! I previously did a NO-NO by trying to turn it on after my pitiful attempt at cleaning it.To top it off they called me after a few weeks to see how it was still going !Through out every one I was in contact with was professional and friendly,A definite 5 stars recommendation !!!!

If you are looking for iPhone repair, iPhone water damage repair or any mobile phone repair in Fredericksburg, or Eastern Virginia this is the place to go.I was looking for an authorized apple repair center in Virginia Beach or Hampton Roads after being told it would be “impossible” to recover photos from iPhone after it took a swim and wouldn’t turn back on while on vacation. Apple Store wouldn’t touch it. Best Buy wouldn’t touch it. I was sent to experimac by Verizon to download my old iPhone as it was blocked. Within 30 minutes, experimac uploaded my new phone in total, non gratis. Chris, the service technician, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Working with Will, Gabe (owner), and Oliver, I was up and running in no time. They are a brilliant team who work well together and take their time to assure excellent service. I am thrilled to have found a company I feel will not only service my computers, but will do so safely and securely.

Got my iPhone’s screen fixed here today and the manager, Oliver, went above and beyond in the service he provided. I had previously gotten my screen fixed at another local place and they told me my Touch ID was simply permanently broken. Experimac in Fredericksburg today not only fixed my screen but also fixed my Touch ID in the process no extra charge. When I bought an adhesive screen protector at checkout they offered to apply it for me simply as a complimentary service and did it while I waited. The entire staff is extremely professional and helpful and the service was fast. I’ll never take my electronics anywhere else to get fixed. Thank you guys so much!!

Found Experimac from a search on line. Didnt know what to expect, but I needed help getting my email to work on my ipad. I was extremely happy with the help I received - very helpful and polite. I now can email from my ipad again.

My Iphone battery was dying and I refused to dole out $600 or more for a new phone. $50 and 45 minutes later I have a new battery and a fully functioning phone. Its acting like its brand new. Really had a great experience with the staff and the quick turn around on replacing my battery. Definitely recommend this as a solution to the Iphone battery slow down issue

Due to intense work with Adobe Illustrator (and it’s frequent disk access) I decided to switch out the HDD in my iMac 5K 27” with a SSD. Excellent interaction, timely process, friendly and knowledgeable staff, AND reasonable prices. And I lucked out with the disk cloning in that NOT ONE of my apps needed reinstallation or recertification (or whatever) when I got home! What more could you want?
