Wish I could give it more than a 5 star! This is my all time favorite place. Prices arent raised like youd expect from a local store. Staff are all very friendly(I am even going to try to work here). I love playing FNM and hanging out at Your Hobby Place!

Dont let the outward appearance fool you, this place is a high quality game store. No gamer funk, very clean, great staff. Theyre familiar with whats on their shelves, and if they arent, they know somebody who is. Theyve got a rewards system for visiting and plenty of bathrooms. Lots of tables for gaming on, and side rooms for private games. They carry Warhammer 50k, Age of Sigmar, Star Wars table top games, historical gaming, board games, Dungeons and Dragons and other miscellaneous tabletop rpg games, as well as Magic the Gathering, Pokemon TCG, and some Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. This shop has provided the most consistent quality of service in the Fredericksburg of any shop Ive visited in the past 10 years. Also one of the best selections of everything tabletop and very helpful staff and regulars.

If I was into roll playing games such as dungeon and dragons it would be a five star. However Im not I was expecting to go into a multiple hobbies store. Staff was very friendly and helpful they directed me to a store that would carry the hobbies Im more interested in.

They have all you miniature needs, pathfinder stuff, and a good selection of board games. I primarily get D&D stuff from here but they are a good source for warhammer as well.

Great hobby store for role playing games. If they dont have it, ask them about what you are looking for. Lots of table space and routine game nights with different games played at the different tables. Decent prices on the games, game cards and game figures.

Good selection, prices are competitive, but most importantly everyone is just down right friendly and pleasant to be around; even the local gamers that hang out here playing have been a joy!

All of the staff I have interacted with have been super friendly and knowledgeable. VERY kid friendly. I take my 4, 7, and 9 year old daughters in without issue. People who are there playing are polite and friendly. No loud language or inappropriate comments. Definitely sign up for the frequent shopper program. Prices are comparable to area game stores and Book stores.

I was here this evening for the first time to play D&D with friends. The staff was immediately warm and welcoming. The store was well-stocked, clean, and organized. The back of the house is sectioned off into one large tournament room and several large table rooms that players are able to reserve. Overall a wonderful, family-friendly experience. I cant wait to go back!

Great store! They have a good staff and run multiple events. A great place to find some harder to find games and miniatures. I visit this store weekly.

My favorite local hobby place. Staff are helpful, various groups that gather are friendly, general game crowd is very chill sand easy to get along with, and process are competitive.

The is the best game store in town. It is huge, lots of games, and very friendly stuff. The guy who works behind the Magic desk is always friendly and immediately greets you with a smile on his face. If you love to game, this is the place to be.

Very tight open play space, which is really rough during large events. Only one bathroom is pretty lame for a building that size. Employees are pretty elitist, giving more opinions than help and if your opinion doesnt match theirs, expect to hear about it. Minimal internet presence, so if you are looking for a product you either have to go in or call and hope the employee can find it, as their tcg games dont seem to be inventoried.Positive note, they do have a lot of board games, and they have open board games so you can try it out.

Your Hobby Place has a great staff, nice facilities and a friendly atmosphere. YHP hosts events for Magic The Gathering, Warhammer, Dungeons and Dragons, and more. The YHP Facebook page lists the events. Every interaction with the employees has been positive and they are always willing to answer questions and provide help.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at the midnight prerelease for Ravnica Allegiance. We intended to go to one at 2 on Saturday but the environment and quality of people working at and attending the event enticed us to stay for all three Saturday. Matt and Tony that work there were very resourceful and knowledgeable. Shared a new experience with a new LGS. Highly recommend going to all of their weekly events for MTG. Thanks for making our first experience with sealed draft of a new set a memorable experience. We will be back soon!

Fantastic, lots of space for private gaming. Lots of tabletop supplies and groups. Some items didnt have their price labeled well, particularly MTG cards, you have to ask about every single card.
