I have ordered many items from Chilton over the past 12 years and have never been disappointed. The staff was very helpful in discussing my order over the phone and following up a few days later. The Shaker bench arrived in perfect condition and looks great in my sun room.

I went to the Chilton location on Commercial Street in Portland in search of a dining room table. The quality of their pieces are incredible. I wanted a walnut table with the leaf though the timeline for their custom pieces was a bit longer than I could wait. The store attendant was quick to tell me they had a table in stock at their Freeport location that was exactly what I was looking for and I could have it right away. She emailed me photos within moments and I was able to go see it in person, make the purchase and have it delivered white glove within a week! Everyone was very helpful and kind and the quality and craftsmanship of their furniture is unmatched!

I am extremely happy to show off my Chilton dining table – it is simple stunning and so expertly and uniquely handcrafted. We were looking for a table to fit a unique space and the staff at Chilton was able to recommend oval extension dining tables. It fits perfectly. We were able to customer order it in walnut (it came standard in cherry). The table is always something people notice and we are asked about it whenever friends or family see it. The wood grain is beautiful and the finish is smooth but durable. We eat on it every day with a family of 6 and it stands up beautifully. We were particularly impressed with the delivery from states away - the delivery team was friendly, on time, and extremely careful and respectful of our home. They carried it exactly where we asked them, set it up and took the blankets back with them so no packaging to discard and nothing to assemble. A truly first class overall experience with Chilton.

I ordered a set of the Chilton Concord chairs and am so pleased. The chairs are made from cherry and fit wonderfully with our décor, providing a classic and timeless but modern look. They are beautiful besides being comfortable and every day functional. I also experienced a very easy ordering and delivery process with regular updates from Chilton.

Very positive experience, again, with Chilton. The large bureau was custom-built for us consistent with the specifications we developed with Chilton staff. Their estimate about when the bureau would be completed was very accurate. Also all the accounting about what we paid upfront and then just prior to delivery was precise and consistent. Finally, the guys moving this piece to our home and into the house were very careful, not just Covid-related, but also with the piece of furniture, our floors and door frames. This was a piece of furniture we had always wanted, and they made the process smooth from beginning to end. Couldnt be more pleased.

We are absolutely obsessed with our Chilton furniture. We ordered the Bethel panel bed and matching night stands, as well as, a dining table (Im honestly not sure which one) customized to exclude the leaf and be a solid top, four Saco Chairs, and a 5-foot shaker bench.You go in knowing it takes a while to build and get delivered, but other than the long wait, everything was perfect. The delivery guys showed up right when we expected them. All we had to do was show them where we wanted the furniture. They brought everything in wrapped in blankets for protection, assembled anything that needed assembly (the bed), and were in and out in no time.The furniture itself fit our spaces perfectly and look spectacular. Were delighted with how clean the edges and surfaces are, the finishes, how sturdy everything is. You really get what you pay for here.The chairs are comfortable, the bench, even though from a different set, matches perfectly. The dining table is large and solid and exactly what we wanted. The colors will darken up over time, and were excited to see how it all ends up looking in the end.The bed is well built and feels very sturdy. Its nice having a headboard for once, and even better having our mattress up off the floor now. I thought the bedside tables would be oversized and I wasnt sure if wed love them, but they fit perfectly in the space and are perfect. The drawers are slow-close and quality made - no flimsy bottoms or sides thatll break in a year. Im confident the track wont wear out either.The designs for all our furniture are elegant yet simple, and very clean. As I said earlier, were obsessed.

I ordered 6 of the Boston chairs and they did not disappoint! The team was amazing and squeezed in the delivery for me in another state a few days later so I had the chairs in time for a family dinner at my new home. Amazing customer service and beautiful quality furniture.

My wife and I had an excellent experience purchasing a customized foyer cupboard at Chilton Furniture. The sales staff got answers to all of our questions on style modifications, wood type and cabinet size. The delivery personnel were courteous and handled on new cabinet with great care. Even though the customer had some difficultly installing the movable foyer shelf, the Chilton Furniture staff did everything that was needed to quickly resolve the problem. Overall, everyone at Chilton Furniture went above and beyond to make our experience as pleasant as possible. We highly recommend Chilton Furniture.

I always love getting pieces from Chilton. The quality is outstanding, the people are wonderful (from sales to delivery), and I like that my money is staying in New England (or midwest) pockets.

We ordered the Shaker Extension dining table from Chilton but we had it custom made in walnut. The construction is extremely solid and the extension mechanism is smooth and easy to use. It is nice to see true craftsmanship and an American made product. I suspect the kids will argue over this table some day but first we will enjoy it for many years to come. This is the first time we had ordered from Chilton and we could not be happier with the overall experience, and it was nice working with a family owned business. Very happy overall and would highly recommend them.

We ordered the Acadia Live Edge table made of Walnut. The table is absolutely beautiful. Chilton was professional and timely in their delivery.

They have an incredible array of high-quality pieces, with incredible details. My style is more on the modern side, but I needed pieces to warm the space that continued with the same caliber of quality I had. The textures of the wood pieces we got are incredible, and superior quality.

The quality of the furniture, was, of course, outstanding. And so was the delivery. They were right on time, were very pleasant, and were very careful bringing everything in and putting them in place.

Chilton furniture is beautiful. I have a Shaker hall table that I’ve had for 25 plus years, and it is one of my favorite pieces of furniture.I was browsing on the website and entered the monthly lottery to win a $200 gift certificate, and lo and behold, I won! The big pieces are out of my budget, but I ended up buying a Boston Chair in Walnut and Oak, that I’ve put in my bedroom as a stand-alone piece. It was also during their sale so it was an extra 10% off.I corresponded with Leisel, who was great, then ordered over the phone at the Freeport store with a really friendly person whose name I didn’t get, and then picked it up from another super friendly gentleman at the Scarborough store (also didn’t get his name!). The whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish, and if I actually ever do win a lottery, i’d love to buy more Chilton furniture, as they are true heirlooms. I highly recommend Chilton Furniture, and don’t forget to enter the monthly contest!

The Penobscot Sleigh bed was my third Chilton purchase. Slightly jealous of my sisters Penobscot Arbor bed, I decided it was time to have a bed to match the Bangor dresser I bought several years ago. (I also have a media console). It was a splurge for this teacher to be sure, but Chiltons craftsmanship is beautiful - each piece is made to order. You are buying the best quality hand-made furniture from a family business and the difference from even the higher-end box stores is noticeable. Its furniture that can be enjoyed for generations. The customer service is top-notch; I had emails from Liesel, Wanda, and Aaron offering speedy and personable answers to questions and providing updates about delivery. Delivery and assembly is white-glove and seamless. I recommend them highly!
