Mark & Bryce really helped my wife and I out when looking for new winter/foul weather gear. This was our first Patagonia experience and we both agree it was an excellent time and service. Sometimes finding the right gear is tough and we visited twice making sure we got the correct gear. I am sure everyone is the shop is knowledgeable and friendly but Mark & Bryce really went the extra mile and steered us in the right direction. Will definitely visit again

The crew at Patagonia Freeport is always welcoming & well informed. They totally nail it with that sweet spot of being there to help & answer questions without being obtrusive or awkward in any way. I like that I can swing by the shop just to browse or - as I normally do - I can beeline there for a specific need and know I am going to get some solid advice & likely learn something cool about the product. Yesterday I found exactly what I was looking for - light weight merino - and the staff filled me in on the upside of the new merino supplier and why that source is important given their sustainability/humane animal treatment/quality product ethos. Great company. Great shop. Great staff.

4 instead of 5 stars because I liked their old location better. The new location is more polished, but I miss the upper level deep discount department. There are a few clearance items in the new store but not as many.

Good >> Attractive, clean, and well organized store. Good selection of clothing. Cautions >> Limited selection of bags; my bag fetish was not fulfilled at this location.

Review №5

It’s a typical “outlet”. Only 30% off and not even that on newer items. At least they had more sizes for the clearance than the website. We got some decent deals but not much better than sales at retail chains that carry Patagonia gear. Service was fantastic but they did accidentally charge me for an extra coat - easily fixed when we realized it back at the car.

I used to love going to the patagonia outlet to see their new gear (to be used for backcountry adventures) and sadly it seems the store is much more focused on trendy hipster clothing than their true outdoors lovers.....didnt even get To see any of the jackets I wanted.. sooo shop online I guess if you looking for actual outdoor gear

Ok selection. Mostly stuff from past weather season. Its summer here, not winter. Bathing suits looked like a grab bind youd see at the mall lingerie store. Not well presented. While the man at the door made us feel unwelcome, the woman who assisted in a price correction was great. Ultimately, we left empty handed.

Most items are “irregular” and the prices aren’t as great as you would expect for an outlet store, but still nice to visit.

Ch

Idk what I expected but it was definitely not worth the long queue to get into the store. The selection wasn’t great and the discounts didn’t feel deep enough for “irregular” marked items.

Tried to enter Patagonia Outlet store in Freeport on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021. Was surprised to see the door closed and the store representative not allowing to enter the store until you book an appointment. But, the wait list is ONE WEEK! Are you serious, guys?? There were three people in the store and no one waiting outside. Why do you guys restrict the access to the store? Yes, its COVID, but all other store are open and are operating as usual. The appointment time in the store they told me is 90 minutes, which is ridiculous! Well, if you as a business restrict the access to the general public, I choose not to be your customer ever! I wonder how your business is even alive without customers.

I understand COVID-19 is unusual, but you can put a sign in the window of things you are NOT doing instead of letting people wait 20 minutes in the sun just to say “no we aren’t doing that right now”No against skin returnsNo repairsEtcJust a small printed sign so people don’t waste their time. Or a novel idea have the person at the door come out and talk to people, see if they just want to browse or they are looking for something specific or they need to return, exchange, repair, and a real live person can give real time feedback.

Great products and a company that does great work both for the environment and for its employees. The staff was extremely helpful. The only downside was the relatively small store and crammed products. More of a curse of the environment that is Freeport and its high number of customers. Not everyone can have a store of ll beans enormity.

The store is okay as far as Patagonia stores go. They have a decent outlet selection at decent prices. I wouldn’t recommend bringing Worn Wear into this location if you can help it; they don’t always seem to know the value of items. It might be worth the drive to Boston. Have a beautiful spring.:)

The crew at this Patagonia store is consistently earns 5-star review in my book. Ive been coming here off and on for about 10 years and a lot more recently. The staff are super knowledgeable and experienced about each product Ive ask about. They are super-friendly and laid back, but professional. Super happy with my experiences at this store. Theyve always gone the extra mile to help me find a product that meets my needs.

Honestly one of the best place to purchase Patagonia gear. The selection of products is pretty cool, but not perfect. The service is also insanely good and they even have some discounts sometimes. This is a great brand and it definitely shows from the moment you enter the store to the moment you use the actual gear.

Big pata fan for actual outdoor functional apparel. Frequently visited the old location (just down the road from current) as could always find a good deal. Seems like new location has emphasis on full priced fashion items with significantly down-sized outlet selection. Hopefully that will evolve. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Products and warranty, as always, top notch.

The Patagonia outlet in Freeport is fabulous! I have many amazing pieces purchased from Patagonia specifically from that location. The company is a b Corp, which I try to support more companies who are similar to Patagonia because of their ethics. The quality of their clothing is outstanding, their customer service is outstanding and they use recycled down. They care for their customers, animals, the environment, their employees... this is the kind of company I want to support. And they make high quality amazing clothing on top of all of that!

I called from out of town (South Carolina) because Patagonia Corporate suggested I ask this certain store if they had a jacket I was looking for. The jacket was out of stock on the Patagonia website and they werent expecting a shipment anytime soon. I took a shot in the dark by calling this store and it was a great decision. The woman who answered was extremely nice and was ended up having one of these jackets left! It retailed for $120 on the website but this certain color was already on sale for $71. I got an additional 40% off from some store promotion and shipping was free. So, I got a new $120 jacket for $40 and got to deal with the nicest staff! So impressed with this store! 10/10!

Great place for good prices on Outdoor Clothing and gear from one of my favorite brands. They really did have good prices on some great stuff, although we didnt wind up buying anything on this trip. They had a lot of first-rate outerwear including Prima Loft and Gore-Tex and they had some nice backpacks on sale.

Very confused if this is actually even an outlet anymore. Very few items were on sale and even still were only 20-40 dollars cheaper. I miss the old days with the second floor outlet section where you could get a vest for like 70 bucks. Now you’re lucky if a micropuff is less than 250.

Review №33

I waited outside for over 45 minutes due to limited capacity because of COVID-19. I gave up and left when there were about 10 people in front because I knew it would probably be another 30 minutes at least. None of the sales associates came outside to check on people in the line to let them know of wait times, or to see if we were looking for anything in particular, etc. From peeking into the window, it appeared that people were taking around 15 minutes just to check out and that there was a line to check out as well. I’m bummed as I probably would have bought something.

Update: Patagonia has a new store front two doors down from their old location that is located on one level. There is a public restroom and water fountain, which is helpful when shopping with kids. The childrens selection is smaller at the new store, and its a bit more challenging to locate the outlet deals. The check out is spacious and easier to navigate compared to the previous space. No elevator to get upstairs with a wheelchair or stroller.

Employees are friendly and helpful. I stopped in on a very busy post-christmas day to exchange an item that was purchased on sale for the same one in a different size. I love Patagonia and their policies, but I dont think they should call themselves an outlet. Many items were 30% off today, but thats 30% off retail. Many items had stickers that said regular price... Our price... And the prices were the same. Makes no sense to me. I think a lot of these same things could be cought cheaper at REI.Very disappointed as Ive been looking forward to this shopping trip for months.Fortunately the Fjallraven outlet (a few doors down) made up for it. 😁

This store front is only a shadow of what it once was, pre- internet. Soon they will be moving to a new location, on the corner across from LL Bean. Until then the place is a wreck, crowded and disorganized. Still some great values to be found, especially if you are sized XXS or XXL. But the treasure hunts and cool insider insights of true outdoor adventurers who really use all the technical gear themselves are long gone.
