This store is so clean and organized. The staff is helpful, brightly colored in uniforms and masked. Very present in the aisles and helpful at the register. The manager addressed my concerns. 👍🏾Nice people.

I only went to the deli department. There were two workers only one person ahead of me. It took a very long time to be waited on. I think one of the workers was in training. I know everyone deserve a chance but management should do training on off peak hours. :(

Store is well-stocked, but the prices are too high for a neighborhood store. They would get more busines from people outside the area, if the prices were more competitive. But, they get away with it because theres nowhere else to go nearby.

It had a wide variety of stuff ..and the aisle were well laid out.. and the cashier ...very good looking and courteous.

Gala foods supermarket cut your meats as you like it with no charge. The line is quit and the cashiers are helpful. Love to shop there.

The fish department needs very much training. They have very bad attitude towards some people. I had a bad encounter today that I have to leave the fish I was buying. I just wasted my precious time. I will never buy fresh fish from them anymore.

They let me shop even though they were closing in 10 Minutes The fruit was fresh and the pricing was really good. Please don’t go toGala Market on Main Street they lock the doors 10 minutes ahead of time and ignore you if you knock on the door.

The place offers a nice variety of fresh food. I enjoyed dining here. Employees are always super nice, prices are fair and the place is always kept clean.

Not my favorite place to go, but sometimes necessary when in a rush. A couple of times I have picked up deserts to take with me when invited to a friend’s house. Only to be embarrassed when we opened it and it had mold on it. The prices are expensive, even generic options. They do offer a wide range of produce, meets and almost anything. Definitely the place you want to go for Caribbean and Hispanic items.

Eh.. not much good I can say about this place.Just basic services

Usually ok. On more than one occasion the cashiers and even the manager seemed to have a negative attitude when asked a question. Ive witnessed non-Latino or non-Spanish people being treated with a less than professional attitude from both the cashiers and the manager. So why do I continue to shop there? Partially because my former students work there and I love seeing them. The other reason is to keep Freeport dollars in Freeport, but that will soon change.

Always clean, short lines but certain prices are definitely high. Although being its five minutes from my place of work, makes it convenient.

My mom shops here all the time I shop here from time to time. My experience with the supermarket is on either side of the fence when you need something you can go to about three or four people before you find someone that actually speaks English or a little bit of English and understands what youre talkin about. I understand the culture that this store serves and the products arent found in other supermarkets, the staff really needs to be trained better in the English language you cannot have people working that doesnt fully understand because there can be a miscommunication and sometimes in altercation. The products are always fresh and up-to-date the meat always looks great the Isles are always neat and for the most part clear and free of any debris managers usually are very understanding and very helpful. staff in general gets a one-star but the store gets the three stars

This super market is great if you are close by and need to grab something on the fly. If you dont already know what you are getting and decide to go shopping here it can be a little frustrating because they dont post prices on a lot of things and there are things you would expect to be $3 or less such as cereal which are priced as high as $8 at times. They also charge 25 cents for bags which is a bit much. Other than that there really isnt anything wrong here. But if you want to get the best value for your money I wouldnt exactly recommend this place because you can find much greater deals elsewhere.

You would wonder why would I give two stars to the store that I always buy my groceries.Here is why, I went in today to buy a few things and the place was packed with no social distancing whatsoever. In addition I saw two persons without a mask on, I believe that by allowing unmasked costumers they are violating the law.Management, please put a remedy to this situation as Freeporters have suffered enough with this virus.

Noone ever knows where anything is located. Or they send you to the wrong aisle. No social distancing and they have no vegetable choices ... need more vegetables

The place could be very unwelcoming if you dont speak spanish. With one exception everyone else working there is latin. I dont think i will ever patronize it anymore.

You can find a lot of the Carribean based goods however, you must pay attention to the prices because some things can be a little costly.

Gala has great sales and its clean and very Latino friendly. I dont speak Spanish at all but the staff there are all mostly bilingual. Very impressive folks. Lines are long post-covid.

I kinda like this store since its near us. And I love all their Spanish and some asian products. The only thing is some of Spanish staffs doesnt speak English. They speak spanish to me but I dont know much of the spanish even I have a Spanish blood. No offense! We are in USA we have to learned to be neutral and speak the national language. Specially when we work here we should learned to communicate in a national Language.

Love this supermarket!! In addition to providing food items to the Latino communities, there are alot of Caribbean staples found here that other food stores dont carry. There is a good selection of fresh fish in their seafood market and overall the entire store. They also have a deli section that also makes rotisserie style chicken, with the occasional ribs and a Dominican style breakfast. Again, LOVE this place.

Its usually well stocked and the lines arent very long. You get in and out in no time.

They brought my food home. However they normally give the customer a taxi with $50.00 purchase of food. They claim due to the Pandemic they no longer give the customer a ride only deliver the food.

Prices are exorbitantly high.

This place is great they have lots of different types of foods from all nationalities. The staff is very friendly and if its something you can get or you cant find their very happy to help you. The prices are very reasonable period if you buy over $40 worth of food they will take your food and you home.

I love the store and the selections of product are all quality. I have to say the way management works is not conducive to a good customer experience. I had to wait for 30 minutes to have a missing item from my purchase. They had to call the owner to get a validation to issue me a credit for the missing item. The key holders on duty have no authority and are not empowered to fix a customers issue. That fact coupled with the extended wait time to have an issue resolved has turned me off to an otherwise wonderful place to shop. It will be a long time before I consider bringing my business to this location.

Market recently renovated and looks great. Nice meat department and Deli. Seafood always fresh. Compare has hard to find spanish products. Nice staff. Fresh produce. Sale items not as competitive as they used to be. Store well managed.
