5 stars/5 diamond in customer service! We all love personalized stuff, right? I know I do. Maybe its vanity or the need to feel special but I am all about things made especially for me. Thats how I felt when I shopped for my new mattress at Island Bedding. Brandon, the young man who helped my 8yo son and I, was very attentive and listened to what I had to say. He gave personal recommendations and in the end, they suggested that what I needed, they would make, just for me. My son was extremely overjoyed by this offer because the apple didnt fall too far, I guess. He loved knowing that the bed we were getting was ours and ours alone.Anyway, as it turns out, not all back pains are alike. I chose a firm mattress believing that thats what I needed to mend my aching back. After a few nights, I realized that this wasnt so. After I saw an acupuncturist, she said that firm isnt always good and suggested I get a new mattress. Luckily for me, Brandon informed me that I had 30/60 days (Ive forgotten which so dont quote me and get that nice young man in trouble,) to exchange the mattress. So I went again and this time with my 12yo football player son. His height and weight means we need a very sturdy mattress and since this mattress will be his now that Ive decided I actually want a king sized mattress, I let him choose the mattress of his dreams. After many tries, they suggested another personalized bed that could handle his height and weight yet comfy and soft, which is his idea of a perfect mattress. They had me come back the next day to try it out. If it wasnt to my satisfaction, I guess they would make another. They just seem to be the type of company that really wants to go above and beyond in making their customers happy.Received my mattress the very next day. I believe they can also do same day delivery. Its a small company thats big on customer satisfaction. I dont rave much but this company is worth raving for. If you need a mattress, ask for Brandon or Abby. Shes awesome too.
