Just an old school and my kind of supply house. They have electrical, plumbing and a show room for appliances.I like how they are very knowledgeable and helpful with all your needs.Just make sure to be there before 3:30 if you need wire cut to a length.

The only problem i have with fresno D is not at the store itself but when i call in to see if they carry the items i need there are times i cant come to fresno and call in but it takes over a hr to get a hold of someone or they disconnect me after holding for over 30 minutes other than that they carry most things and are fast when you go to the store there

Finishing our kitchen remodel. Amir was a huge help to us. He assisted us with all of our appliances and new sink. He is a true gentleman and was honorable through the whole process. Very responsive to my questions and requests. To sum up. He under promised and over delivered. Great job. I will be back and will only work with Amir. Top man.

Horrible customer service. Been waiting for 20 mins (still waiting) they haven’t said anything like we will be right with you nothing. White lady came in they acknowledged her right away. (We Are Hispanic ) now they are attending the white lady before us when it was our turn.

Purchased a water heater, Not being an expert I wrongly purchased a water heater that was to big for the available location of my older home. I went to return it ( never installed or taken out box) The told me because the box was damaged they would not refund it to me. I spent 700.00 for this unit they used a forklift to bring it out to me when I purchased and box was already in a questionable condition. I asked to talk to manager all he did for me is give me partial refund on unit I lost 100.00 on this transaction. It was very disappointing with the way I was treated and how they did not really care for their customers. I still need a water heater but because of the way things were handled I decided I would not give them anymore of my money. Things are tough right now financially, these people took advantage of me. I give you a fare warning do not shop here. I would wish the owner would look into his level of customer service. If you have any doubt try calling them and reach out to the pluming department they will never answer you try it I dare you.

To: Tony GarciaYour review has been proven to be full of untruths and lies. When you received the water heater from us, the box is checked and there was no damage to the box. When you returned the water heater, you stated in your review it was unopened and undamaged. This is untrue. The box was open and ripped down the side. You stated that it was too large, which would not be detectable without opening the box. We have the photos to prove this. You said in your review that no one helped you and had bad customer service. Since you were not given what YOU wanted that is against our posted and written company policy, that makes us have bad service? Another false accusation. Again you said you were only given partial refund. You were given 90% back which clearly is not partial ALSO you didnt bring back all the items on your receipt so of course we only gave you a refund for the product you brought back. If you feel any of this is untrue please feel free to call us, we dare you right back. We may not be able to answer everytime our phone rings but we are giving our customers that we are currently helping with the best service we can. We have a secretary that can take down any questions and we can find out the information and we do call our customers back. We encourage customers to read all reviews before deciding to not shop somewhere due to this issue on deceit and lies. Thank you.

Standing in line no one in front of me and there all on there phones doing nothing if I was able to post a picture I would been here for 20mins and no one has even said Ill be right with you not even a good morning how are you nothing...... Worst customer service ever

Very helpful. It took 5 minutes tops to get what I needed.

The worst customer service I’ve ever had. Waited around for 30 minutes. All 4 guys were out smoking cigarettes while 5 of us were waiting in line. Never will I come back. Wouldn’t be surprised if this place goes out of business.

Great prices on plumbing parts

Over and above, friendly and very helpful service. Richard and Jeff helped me today, 90% Richard. Both were very familiar with stock, Knowledgeable, and treated me as if I was the only one in the store, which wasnt the case. I am 57 years old and very much understand what good and loyal service truly is. Not only are the prices below reasonable in most cases, I will always be a patron because they truly higher right. No one would be disappointed with what Ive experienced.

Had what I needed

I was a first time caller looking for an wall heater pilot assembly. The salesman that answered my call listened to my question and knew what I was talking about, but was willing to let me text a picture of the part n I was able to match it perfectly....so needless to say...i added them to my supply house list and will definitely continue to do business with them....forget home depot.....

I went in the day after Christmas to get two parts for my kitchen faucet. The guy behind the counter went looking for the parts and when he couldnt find them, another guy started helping. Two guys looking for two parts that may total $12! When the parts were located I was amazed at the low price and the wonderful service.I wish more places were like Fresno Distributing.

If your looking for parts for a less than do it yourself job. This is the place. Good luck getting on the phone with them though

While this store is certainly open to the public, the actual parts counter is better suited for pros. As long as you know what you need or have enough details about your project, this is a great place. I am a contractor and have been buying here for over 25 years. This place has always been on the top of my list of supply stores. If you feel Fresno D is over rated or over priced, you must of got lost in the showroom.

Called looking for specific part. Referred to them by manufacturers distributor. Gave them part number, couldnt find it, didnt know how to look it up. Shouldve been a simple catalog look-up and order. Wow.

Bought a motor for swamped cooler in its box. New!! So I thought.. a couple days later the thing fried, come to find out the manufacturer date is from 2014. Called to get it replaced not even asking for a refund for the rude man at the counter raising his voice at me, in a nut shell said its a manufacturer problem not ours. After beakerinng at each other I get no were to help my need and hangs up the phone. Really !!! How is it going to look when manufacturer finds out this moter is from 2014? When they only do one year warranties. Do they not see something not right here? Wooo!!!

Had a horrible experience! I work for a very busy fire and water mitigation company and was trying to find a new vendor for our rebuild department. Was looking for a unique vanity for a customers home and Amir Shahin the sales guy in the showroom refused to help at all! He just kept telling us just look at the magazine we have that’s all I can do is what he kept saying! I asked can you please just look at this picture on my phone and tell me if you have anything like it and he insisted on refusing to make sure I felt like I was taken care of 100%!!!I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!

Tried calling to see if they had they carry the wire I needed. After a few minutes on the phone with the electrical department I just gave up. 12 gage outdoor wire with 4 wires + ground, suitable for burying in conduit, should not be a difficult thing to describe or understand. He ended up telling me they dont carry any cords like that, just have wires on a spool they can cut off. Ya think? And we dont have anything for direct burial. One - why not?? And two - I specifically stated about 10 seconds prior that its going in conduit. Since I couldnt get past the phone call, I wouldnt bother trying to shop here. Completely incompetent.

What happened to a once amazing company? I ordered several parts for a bathroom remodeling from their sales team. I got a call saying the parts had arrived. I found out after driving across town that only a few parts were there. My project was delayed a week. I finally received the order and scheduled the plumber. On site the plumber said the salesperson didnt order the additional assembly to install the drain. I then had to rush to Lowes to buy a different kit to complete the job. Finally, the faucet spout had a manufacturing defect which the plumber pointed out and said I needed to exchange that part to complete the job. I raced across town to return the part that I now couldnt use and exchange the defective part. After waiting 45 minutes for a service representative to accuse the plumber of breaking the part and then after acknowledging the salesperson didnt order the full assembly stated that we dont accept returns on special orders and we think that your plumber broke the part so we wont exchange that either! Omg! I ordered $400 worth of parts and was then treated like a criminal. Let my lesson be your lesson. AVOID THIS JOKE OF A BUSINESS or you too will have a horror story like mine!

Cant say much about this place because they never bothered to answer the phone or return a call left on the plumbing voicemail line. They literally send you to voicemail when you call and press the option for plumbing. Didnt know what to give a place that doesnt answer the phone other than a single star.

While it seemed they had a fairly decent stock of items to choose from the customer service was awful. Man at the front desk asked after a few minutes of already looking around if we needed help, however was reluctant to actually provide any kind of help other than rudely pointing us in the general area of what we needed, so why even bother asking us? Should have just continued to ignore us. Ive never been treated so rudely by a place of business. Sorry for bothering you with a question when you asked us if we needed help. I felt so appalled after leaving there that I decided to created an account just to right this review! horrible... if youre looking for somewhere to go in fresno try CENTRAL distributing. World of difference in customer service, stock, and prices! Forget this overrated place.

I ordered some special order items almost two months ago and am still waiting on a few things. I have to say customer service is ok when they are not busy, but when they are busy (which is almost always) it is as if they dont know you. Ive been promised phone calls back …am still waiting. I think they could use extra help in the showroom. I finally went in to check on my order and again it took quite a while. They are not good on follow through. Im all about supporting small mom and pop businesses,thats why I came to them in the first place, but in retrospect I should have gone to Home Depot, Loewes, or even Fergussens. I think the plumbing counter may be ok, if you know what you need, but I wont be back to the showroom….only to pick up my order…if and when it gets here. Oh well, live and learn. You may have better luck.
