I finally found what I needed! Cook and Serve Lemon by Jello. I desperately need this for my lemon meringue pies for Thanksgiving. So happy I found them after other stores are bare and one had nothing but expired boxes!

Place was clean, the employees were nice! It was great they had cotton candy colored sugar is what I was looking for at first!! Ended up with a basket full of goodies!! Stuff for Champurado too!This store was on Clinton and Blackstone Thank you to the guy who got us a cart showed us where the cotton candy stuff was he gave us exceptional customer service!! & we bought Nacho stuff and bowls! Everything we needed was there.

Very nice produce section, I was speaking with a gentleman that works in the produce department and he was very helpful about direct me the places I needed for the products I needed. For me its a niche type of store I go there for certain things that I cannot find another places. They do have a secret though hidden that I know about that are not a lot of people do. So Im going to share this little bit of treasure that hides at Smart & Final. Smart & Final is the only store in Fresno that carries Atomic horseradish. If you like horseradish this is the best on the market. End of story. But be careful of those horseradish it is wicked. Theres your little share of The Secret of Smart & Final. One day youll say thanks Rog. Rock on!

Enjoyed the Service on today. Cashier was Super friendly and talkative with a Smile. Definitely gonna come back again. I saved money and the store Associates were friendly and helpful.

If you like long slow checkout lines with high prices and you cant get what you came for, then this is the place for you. It was like this before the pandemic so please dont use that excuse. I rarely go here anymore and wish that I didnt tonight

This is a great place for buying discounted items and in bulk. I tend to like the spices as well as the cheese bulk pricing. Very friendly staff.

Great prices and good selection. They dont always carry the same products and brands consistently. The clerks here are polite and the lines usually move quick. Great produce section and bulk food section. Excellent prices on cases of beverages. Liquor too abs a Wells Fargo counter on-site.

A lot of stuff that are big quantity. Good store if you sell at a carnival or fair there a lot to choose from. Also small quantities. You got to go try it out.

Prices are reasonable. The staff is another thing all together.I waited for 30 min to get checked out for 1 pizza.The cashier opened another line and didnt invite the next in line, which i was.She opened it and it filled quickly.I have been here about 10 times and never have been greeted or felt appreciated.Actually, every time i have walked out feeling ignored or irritated by their rudeness.If i had a grocery store that was closer i would definitely go there instead.

My new neighborhood market. I would give 4 stats except they are not always on point with the checkers. Hit and miss long lines. But getting better.

Always good customer service while still being speedy during check out. The workers are always polite and its a pleasant experience. Items are easy to find. Some things are marked up if you compare them to supermarket prices but the convenience is worth it sometimes. The fruits and veggies are always fresh.

Great place for a large size bag of Tyson hot wings. Great half and half for coffee.

I love smart & final, their fresh produce amd selection is the best! I wont go back to this particular one though. I am blown away at how rude some people can be sometimes. I get we all have bad days, but wow you are at work. Try at least a little bit to be nice Yikes!

Everyone should know that smart & final when you are ready to be checked out they have only one line and it winds around to the frozen food aisle and it usually goes all the way to the back of the store over in the milk section, and I promise you will wait for a long time because they usually only have two checkers and most of the time just one checker.

It’s a convenient store for the area. Unfortunately I’ve had several bad experiences with the checkers at the store. There’s two in particular who are just not friendly and I do my best to avoid them in line.

It was an easy spot to rob.. man walked right out with a box of beer & chips lmao. Security guy did nothing

Its hard to explain why exactly, but ever since they switched over to the new Extra! layout these stores have become a whole lot better. I almost never went into these stores under their old format because the deals just werent that good. However, they are much better now.Their produce section is the most notable improvement from before.I also like that they have bulk discounts on a lot of items for their business customers, which is good because thats their core customer base.Everything they carry tends to be of a higher quality than you average grocery store. I find this especially true of their frozen foods.With all that said, oftentimes I cannot find something in store that is in their current ad circular because they are out. It is also hard to find a worker if you need assistance with anything. Finally, more than one time I have encountered bad chicken for sale at various locations. It was not passed the sell by date, but the nose always knows.Still though, Im an overall fan

Nice clean store. Has rush hour trAffic but due to the virus pandemicthey abide by the social distancing rules and have single filed everyone so that tends to be somewhat of a problem when they dont have enough cash registers but that doesnt seem to be the case all the time.

Worst customer service there where 5 people waiting on someone to open the restroom and the one in charge was on break .. How come no one else can have a code to help a customer and more when theres little kids waiting

Security guard always present to keep away the panhandlers. A big plus. Store is always clean. Produce is of good quality. Prices are average. Great coffee and coffee accessories selection. Lots of trays and things for barbecues and parties. Very nice store. There arent any self-checkout lanes.

Ive had good experiences for the most part except for one day a week and a half ago. I had some trouble with the verbiage of how they price things but the black gentleman I dealt with was to me being very dismissive about my concerns and said he had to go back to work. AND to make matters worse he misgendered me and called me maam!

In that time I have learned to count on fresh quality meats, produce and dairy products.i have found both the employees and customers are friendly and helpful. Always a pleasant shopping experience. I recommend Smart and Final to my friends and family. Check it out if you are in the neighborhood.

A lot of the prices were higher than I thought they would be.they ran out of a sign up saying they ran out of eggs and that they will not issue rain checks. Otherwise he practiced extremely great social distancing and the lines went fast.

Always have what Im looking for

Its a nice clean place, but not where I want to get all my groceries! I go there for certain things like milk, hamburger patties, and buns and a few other things when they are on sale. You have to be careful though, not everything that comes in large quantities is cheaper! The nice thing is that they usually have the price per ounce or unit printed on the price tag on the shelf.

One month ago, I gave this store one star because I had to often wait in line for 15+ minutes with only one or two registers open at peak times. I went in today and all five registers were open and saw some nice improvements. I asked: did this place get new management? Answer: yeah, about a month ago. ... Very happy about that. Still taking off one star because fresh basil was nowhere to be found.

Honestly I shop here because it’s close to home and I prefer to shop early in the mornings and every time it’s either Anita or Laurie who are the main cashiers let me just say they are the WORST CASHIERS they are SUPER SLOW and like to take there time maybe they really need to hire better and quicker cashiers I would assume they are losing business due to how long it takes to get check out.

Very clean, good prices for a min membership store. My only complaint is check out takes so long. Theres usually only two registers open at a time. If you dont mind waiting to check out its a good store for you. I, however, do not like to wait. Which is why its only 3 stars form me.

Very busy at certain times (first of the month, just before 5pm when people are off work but need the Wells Fargo), associates are kind and store is usually quite organized and clean.

I purchase some ice cream and Tea. Cashier was fast and pleasant.
