Mike with The Patio Place was THE best in helping me with an issue. I was not even a customer and lived in Oregon (where we no longer have a dealer for this manufacturer)! He dealt with the manufacturer, sent in my problem unit & did regular follow-ups until the problem was resolved! Thank you Mike and The Patio Place! Your service was exceptional and I am very appreciative of your time and patience.
Nightmare of an experience. They have no power or control over their suppliers, which I understand, but what is sad is they have no sense of responsibility to update or inform their customers when orders are delayed, or cannot be fulfilled. Weve waited 6 months for something that was suppose to be ready in 2 and 1/2 months. I am not the easiest person to work with, I admit that, but I have to call every month to ask for an update. The employees there say its not their responsibility to call me monthly and tell me they have no updates or line of sight to when my order will be fulfilled. Probably the worse customer service experience Ive had, and I spent $4000 dollars. I was going to spend all $24,000 that I budgeted on fully furnishing my backyard, thankful that I decided to spend $20,000 with restoration hardware, because they were great, and the furniture is amazing. SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY consider when deciding if you want to do business with these guys.
There has been a 6 month delay and still our furniture has not been delivered.

Rude not welcoming at all followed and watched like a hawk . Cant believe they can even keep their doors open with obviously social issue problem they have at that store. There was no confrontation just complete rudeness from older man there.
Rude (Karen,) lady, not helpful, made my husband and I feel like we were poor Mexicans!! We purchased a umbrella from the Visalia store never again! Bye!!
Placed order and was told 6/8 weeks. Called back in 10 weeks and still no product. When I questioned delivery with young lady, the rude manager says loudly in the background ”just tell her we willCall her when it’s here”. Now they are stating it’s another week til it’s shipped to warehouse. They said they left me a message........No they did not. They have my number as it is clearly stated on the invoice !Save yourself the grief and shop elsewhere.
We received great service from Mike and Jacque at The Patio Place. We ordered our furniture from Mike at the Fresno Home Show just before the Covid shutdown. Although our furniture was delayed, it was well worth the wait. Jacque kept us informed of progress. Great quality furniture and customer service from purchase through delivery and setup. We will be back.
Purchased a very expensive umbrella from here and was promised the moon and the stars with such a great no questions asked warranty. Needless to say it didnt last like they said it would and over 3k later now its someone elses fault that wont honor the warranty. Save your money and go to a big box store, even if you have to buy it twice there its still cheaper and less of a headache. So very disappointing as this was the go to store for us. Not anymore, wont make that mistake 2x. Doesnt matter how high end thier products are if they dismiss any warranty claims on another company. Maybe thier products arent as high quality and as good as they claim. Its not like they are backing up any warranty, they just bkame it on someone else!
Debbie & Mike went above and beyond when I inquired about pricing for a project I am working on. They didnt have what I needed in store so they called around the valley until they found a place in Stockton that could handle my request. Great customer service going above and beyond, I cannot wait for my next patio project so I can give them some business!!!
I agree with all the reviews about the terrible customer service. Paid over $2 grand for a plastic piece of furniture. Was told it would take 4-6 weeks. At 6 weeks I called and spoke to Nancy. Wow was she rude. Basically told me to sit back they are taking care of it. Now I am at 8 weeks and told the same thing by Jackie but now it will take another 10 days. Asked me what she could do for me. I advised you could refund me some of this over priced item I have over waited for, especially the delivery charge. That was not an option! The only option was spending more money in there store that I would never purchase anything from again! Out of money and no merchandise! UPDATE: Do not shop here. Left a message for the owner on his private cell phone about what was happening. Asked him to give me a call after he reviews the google reviews. Never heard back from him so no wonder the store is the way it is when the owner clearly only cares about the profits as well! Sad
Similar to other reviewers, the two women inside completely ignored me. I even tried to make eye contact, but they didnt lift their heads from their computer screens. There were two other customers inside being ignored as well. On my way out, I had the urge to check a mirror to make sure I wasnt invisible. They really blew an easy sale today.

Me and my wife walked into this place. The two women working were on the computer looked up did not say good morning welcome to the patio place. No greeting at all. As were there for about 5 mins not one came and ask can we help u find anything. Terrible customer service. Will not be back here. Was our 1st and last time coming. Should not be in business if U don’t greet your customers
The silver haired staff woman was dismissive, snooty and irritated when she had to walk allllllll the way over from her perch only to learn that I was ‘just looking’ because I had never been into their store before. She had no knowledge about any type of patio shades other than their highly priced items. Pass the pepper because she was REALLY SALTY!
Part of my experience was great the other terrible. Having the furniture delivered in a timely manner was great. The big problem is if you have any color changes on your furniture cushions. I have waited 6 weeks already and the order hasnt even been started! To add salt to the wound, the company that manufactures the cushions closes down for a trade show the week after I called, so theres another week before the order is even considered. So it could be another month before I get my cushions if ever and thats being optimistic. The Sales Rep at Patio Place didnt bother to follow up on anything after the sale was made either. Not happy! PS: Debbie was great.
Just walked into this store with my husband, we both had never been. As I walked in, there were two women sitting right in front of the entrance door. Not one of them looked up nor greeted. Maybe they didn’t hear us at first but after being there 5 mins and talking with my husband we had not one greet. To me greeting as customers enter a store is vital to the experience your customer begins to have. After 5 mins I felt less and less invited and decided to not purchase. As we walked out yet again the lack of exsisting for the short period of time continued. I’m sorry to say but the women there may perhaps need a brief brush up class or meeting on customer service skills. And if by chance they were the owners well then .. I need not say more. Or may I even recommended a bell on the door or a chime as a customer enters because at least future customer feel a bit acknowledged. By the way we were the only customers in there. Unfortunately I will not be returning nor recommending The Patio Place.
Went by in January and saw a really great 8-10 person firepit. Unfortunately couldnt get it because it ws already in the store and I didnt need it until April. Went back in and ordered a smaller one that fit our needs. Every person I. The store was great. Just waiting for delivery. It is a must stop by kinda store.A++
Probably the best source in the area for high-end, quality outdoor furnishings.
As other reviewers already mentioned, the lady working there needs to go to customer service school. She makes the experience horrifying. If you have to do business here, try to avoid her. She will ruin your day.
