Recently brought in my 2014 Mustang GT to have an 8-Inch Pioneer radio, Metra dash kit, rear-view camera, 6 speakers to replace all factory Shaker speakers and a subwoofer for the trunk installed. I cant explain how happy I am with the sound vs the stock Shaker system! On top of the quality install the entire process was also quite fast with them only taking about a day and a half to get it all done. Would definitely suggest this location to anyone considering it. The price seems just a bit high, but keep in mind you get a lifetime warranty on the install.

I would give this zero stars if I could. I called around to get a price to install a double din radio in my vehicle. This has to be the most unprofessional phone call I’ve ever had. This task was simple, give me a quote. I provide all the necessary information make, model, trim etc. Teddy claimed he has to see the vehicle to give a quote. The vehicle is %100 stock from the manufacture. It should be pretty simple to understand what standard parts/labor you will need for the simple task of installing a double din radio to provide a quote. (Which he never did or even attempted to) I called around to multiple outfitters, each one was able to give me a quotes that were relatively close. I would not recommend this place, from the start of saying hello on the phone and the yelling you could tell this location does not conduct good business.

This was my first experience with Car Toys and it was nothing short of awesome. I brought my 2006 Nissan 350z here to have a new head unit, backup camera, and window tint installed and Teddy helped me out every step of the way. He was very knowledgeable and honest (didn’t try to B.S. me) and communicated with me every step of the way. Everything was done quickly and I have no complaints. I love the new upgrades to my car and will be returning for future work as well as recommending others.

Just got my new truck and knew I wanted to replace the whole audio system and add a backup camera. Looked around but everyone was way overpriced. Then remembered this place. Walked in and told them my plan and budget and they helped me get set up with the perfect set up for my truck. Scheduled my drop off time and upon drop off because of modifications and having to make room behind the seat it was an all day job. They kept me updated on the status throughout the day instead of just placing parts where they thought they should be they called and asked me where I would like them placed. I have to say this has got to be the best sounding system I have owned and everything went smooth. I highly recommend this place for any car audio needs. 10/10

Representatives try to massively oversell the components needed for a good audio setup, I went in acting clueless and ended up quoted over $1500 for a simple subwoofer setup as the minimum. Left and went to a professional stereo store and got the same setup for $800 without all the extra required items and it sounds like a dream.Overpriced. Commission based sales (assumed). If youre looking for audio, hit up Houston Car Stereo if in the area.

My new car has no cd player. I have a ton of CDs and wanted to use them so I went to see Joel. He said we have the perfect thing for you it plugs in to the USB and works just like the old cd players. There are two versions of this player. Version 1 did not work so Joel ordered the Version 2 from another store. Once the player came in we tested it and it worked great.Joel not only told me about this CD player he went to the trouble to demo one and when that did not work he ordered the second version and walked me through how to use it. Joel provided Great Customer service and he was very understanding of someone such as myself who is tech challenged.Thanks to Joel I spend all day in a blissful mood thanks to my new found CD player.Jeff

Cannot be inside auto will not transmit through the protected glass,nor will sunlight either leaving less damage to interior. The quite factor is a big plus in this vehicle. You cannot hear the horn honk when activated from inside the vehicle. Easyly tracks multiple phones through the process. Best of British Classic taste in quite heavy, sturdy auto that with addition of another stealth mode goes fast through the night or day and weather is no problem . Range Rover Sport is adapted to varying height for all terrain issues, rain, flood and has built in snorkel system in good. Rises up to allow a combined height of water to be 3.5 feet on a auto raising body of 8 inches. Over4.3feet. a

I went to this location on 5-15-21, to look at a new stereo for my 2017 Chevy Cruze. A salesperson asked what drove, I told him, and he would look up parts and told me he would be with me in a moment. I was looking at all the radios on display for a good 15 minutes with no assistance from any store staff, so I left. How do you expect to sell anything if your salespeople dont interact with customers.

I bought a $250.00 radio, end up Paying $850.00 with all the stuff they add. The worst thing was when I got my suv back after 4hours to find some damage to windshield, damage was not there!! they pretend not to know how that happen. Be careful when they ask you to sign a paper they claim to be for allowing them to work on your vehicle. This paper is an actual visual damage that you vehicle may have before they take it into garage, but they never inspected my suv with me. What they do is add any damage after they done, so if they damage something they will put it on the paper you (I) signed empty. This is unprofessional, unethical and not what I expected from this place. NEVER AGAIN!! BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE. Now Im going to deal with corporate to see if they are going to pay for damages.

Great product knowledge on the different in store products. Also, gave me examples on car audio and car alarms great customer service and finally was truly honest about the different avenues to take in car audio.

I guess their reply was just for the sake of appearance.* 9/29/2020Writing this review on behalf of my father....Car Toys was recommended to me by my car dealer to install a car alarm & camera. I was having issues with the car remote, which Car Toys identified as faulty so I purchased another at their suggestion. The issues continued, the remote would randomly not work. No rhyme or reason. With the danger of potentially being locked out of my car while out running errands I had to bring my vehicle back to Car Toys, they would “reset” the system & it would work for a few days or weeks but always I ended up back at Car Toys. This past weekend was the final straw as I had been fairly patient with the back & forth, I had left my vehicle with them for full days on multiple occasions. Within a few minutes of my arrival this weekend Car Toys indicated to me it was “fixed”. Not wanting to leave without a clear diagnosis I pushed back & was then told that the alarm was working. However, that has been the clear issue the alarm seems to work when it wants to work not when I needed it to work. Another Car Toys rep then went on to say that my system was now “outdated” & I would need to purchase another. All this time of bringing my vehicle to them it seemed that really they had only been guessing on what the issue was. So yes they may be 5 stars installing after you’ve paid them good money but their service seems to fail when you have issues with those products they’ve installed. I’ve now contacted my car dealer to inform him of Car Toys lack of product knowledge after installation.

The young man who helped me was very knowledgeable of the speakers I was looking at and was very patient with me as I tried to make up my mind. He answered all my questions and educated me on the items I was looking at. I ended up buying a set of Focal 6.5 speakers for my front doors and I loved them so much I went back for another set for my rear doors.

I was helped by Joel and he hooked me up with a great subwoofer kit for my 2017 Challenger. Joel was straight forward and helpful about options and costs the whole time, I will be back for future mods for sure!

I purchased a dash cam from Costco and brought it to Car Toys on Friday to install, connected to a constant 12v source since I wanted the dashcam to be monitoring at all times, even with the ignition off. Their install folks were booked up at the time so I set an appt for the next day (Sat). Brought the car in the next day at the appointed time and dropped it off. Almost 5 hours later they had not called to inform it was ready so I went down to the store....they had not even started the install on my car. I got a refund (I had paid in advance), collected my dashcam package, picked up my car and went home. Terrible introduction to Car Toys for a first time customer. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the counter person was very helpful and apologetic, promptly giving a refund. Will look for someone else to install my dashcam.

Stereo rocks! Professional installation. It was done in about twenty four hours. Blue LED lights also put in the boat (very nice for night riding). Salesman was honest, didn’t push me to buy. Installer was informant-able about the equipment I chose, I went with what he suggested, glad I did. Will definitely go back for my truck, when I upgrade that stereo.

I had a groupon voucher for car interior detailing and at the store they told me its just basic detailing and wont include seats, and its 140 $ more just for that, I left the car, they didnt offer to drop me at my house, 4 hrs later I went to pickup my car and I got very disappointed, seats and catpets werent clean and this place is not recommended at all

Poorly run. Waited almost an hour...no help. Joel just kept apologizing. Staff was busy talking with one if their friends outside instead of helping the customers waiting in line inside.

I had such an amazing experience in this place when I wanted to change my car speakers. The associate took the time to explain to me exactly my options and the different advantages and disadvantages of each. Also didn’t mind teaching me some technical points when he felt I’m interested to learn more about the subject before making me decision. He also made the pricing very clear of what’s the price of the devices and how much is the installation in each case. This was my first place to stop and check my options so I honestly took all the info and pricing he gave me and I toured in the area and went even to Houston area to other places that had great reviews about the service and the prices to compare offers. But none of them was a better deal than this place nor made any efforts to explain my options or gave any helpful info. And none even cared to separate the prices of the info than the installation so I can compare accurately. So eventually I went back to him to buy and install. The prices were the best and he gave me even better deals than he offered previously after a short talk, and they installed them in under an hour time!The end product was an amazing set of speakers, very professionally and cleanly installed, with an unbeatable price both for the speakers and for the installation service! They also have an amazing service warranty and free uninstall and reinstall for the old equipment if you decide to sell the car. This place is a gem!

I got there at 12 and one guy said my car would be done around 3. I came back at 3 and my car was still sitting there untouched. He said it would now be done around 7. So I sat there and waited. After 7 hours, my amp was finally installed. Problem was that the installer told me he adjusted MY settings to how he thought they should be. Now my amp gets hot and my subs are hitting their limit with the bass all the way down!

We couldn’t be more grateful for Car Toys and their employees, especially salesman, Joel. He knew exactly what our car needed and fulfilled his job description. Had my daughters truck stereo upgraded and added a security system. Had some trouble with security system several months later. They upgraded it at no charge. Returned with my truck and had it detailed and also upgraded my stereo. Excellent work and they backed it up. Very satisfied.

We installed a remote start on a 2015 Subaru Forester. Everyone here was very professional and you can tell they are experts when dealing with your vehicles electronics. Brent was especially helpful. He was able to help us understand the process and how to operate our new remote start. He took his time in making sure to answer every question we had. He even answered a few questions I would not have thought to ask. I highly recommend not only Car Toys in general, but this location specifically. If you ask for Brent, I have full confidence that he will be able to exceed your expectations.

Alex was very professional and gave us an updated radio for the same price that went on sale the day of install. Very pleased. Josh did the detail work on my Son’s car who had been driving it since 2015, so you can imagine how bad it looked being a teenager that drove it for 3 years and maybe washed it 3 times. The detail to the car inside and out was amazing and I almost didn’t recognize the car. Great job and I recommend these 2 guys to take care of you.

Joel was really helpful on product knowledge to someone like me who only knows a little about sound systems. He set me up with a completely new kicker sound system which sounds exactly like what I was looking for. I was unsatisfied with the sub that I chose when I picked up my car and Brandon helped me find what I didnt know I was actually looking for and my car was back in the shop the same day and out the next. Ive been to this Car Toys location 3 times over the years to purchase various audio equipment for my cars. Every time they have been very helpful and got the car finished when promised. The sales staff were helpful and informative, not pushy. I never felt like I was being pressured into buying more than I needed. I had one small, odd installation issue on my last purchase, and they took care of me to my satisfaction 100%.

2nd time I’ve used these guys and first class job both times. I’m a car girl and very very picky about my cars! They did a perfect job of installation. Not a scratch, not a rattle. I also had them detail both times and they did an excellent job there too. Highly recommend!

Went here last night to wrap up a small test system in my truck. Brent was very helpful finding some particular items the amp called for and spent quite a long time explaining the best ways to hook and mount everything up. Dropped my van off to get them to look at an alarm system. The system was market and not one they installed. Both Brandon and Dustin were very courteous and spent more than an hour trying everything they could to diagnose it. In the end, the problem was not the alarm system. It is rare to see such customer service in todays world. If you need an alarm or stereo, try these good people and their clean store.

After a few weeks of frustration with my car alarm. Today I am thankful. Previous owner had alarm installed in San Antonio. I walked in having some idea what was wrong but was prepared to purchase and install a new one. Ted suggested taking a quick look. Dustin the instal manager was willing to do a parking lot diagnosis and tools in hand figured it out. Siren had made its last chirp and was broken. They had a new one in stock and my alarm is good to go after about 40 minutes total! Today I saved about $500-700. Thanks!

Seemed like a decent enough bunch of fellows but their price match guarantee is a joke! I brought back a receipt for the same stereo installed from Best Buy that was about $100 lower than what they wanted to charge and they wouldnt honor the price because they said they would be losing money! WTF!

I went to Car Toys after TSHarvey. I was a bit skeptical as it was my first time going, but I am happy to say that Car Toys did a great job detailing the inside of my car (it almost looked brand new). The workers there were very kind. While I waited for my car, they checked on me often and kept me posted on how the detailing of my car was going. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends or anyone else I know, and I would definitely go back!

I received outstanding service. I went in looking for something they didnt have. I didnt expect them to have it but thought Id ask. Then, inquired about an amp for my Harley, future project. Salesman showed me a few, and I asked some technical questions with great answers. I asked why the amp, similar specs, on Amazon was half the price thinking it was a cheaper brand or something. I showed him my phone and, he said it was a top brand and he couldnt touch that price. His response is why they get 5 stars from me. You would be better off buying that one. Then, he offered to install it for me if I bring it and my bike in. When a salesman tells me that instead of making excuses why I should give him my money is top notch service from a company who cares about their customers.

I had window tint, backup camera, an alarm, and a complete stereo system installed a couple of weeks ago. Everything was pre-purchased. Car Toys was able to quote us even without knowing what specific brand we had, unlike another car installation place who bases the installation price on how much you spent on your equipment. The system sounds so clean, and they did a beautiful installation job. ~ A personal thank you to the manager, Albert, for his assistance; and a thank you to the knowledgeable, young gentleman behind the counter.Car Toys is going to be a bit pricier because they are a high-end installation company, and they are worth every penny. I highly recommend this location if you want it done right.

Quick and informative fix for my overhead DVD player sound.They installed our DVD player almost 4 years ago and I started experiencing issues with the aux sound so brought it in and they took care of it quickly and even moved where the cord came out so it would t get messed up again.

The Car Toys guys did a great job at a radar detector install. I went back because this is not the first great experience I have had with them.

They have done four cars for me over about nine years. All have been done wonderfully. Installs were clean and professional. My taste is for a stock look and they have always worked to meet my need to keep the stock look.
