If I could give 0 stars I would. This location is awful. I wouldn’t waste your time if you need a prescription done. Martins is faster and friendlier. Long story short….
Ridiculous that they cant have a non narcotic prescription done after 3 trips to the store and over 6 hours after being called in. EVERY time I get a prescription sent here, I have to physically go in and police them for my meds despite being told the first time that it would only be half an hour. Not to mention their front desk staff acts like IM being unreasonable after waiting hours for antibiotics. I initially used CVS for the convenience of having later store hours, but will be switching because its the most inconvenient pharmacy Ive ever used.
Wrong directions on the label that was just slapped at an angle on the bottle. When asked, they denied that it was their mistake, saying it was a refill from an earlier one. So why did they give me that instead of the one my doctor called in? Because my insurance wouldnt cover it! And why wasnt I told when I first questioned them two days ago? I never found out but my guess is that it had not been processed yet from that day when it was called in until when I called them just before closing. No one answers the phones, ever! Their automatic system says the precription is ready when it isnt. Sorry, come back in 2 hrs. My advice: Go elsewhere. I agree with the guy who said it needs to be shut down. Doesnt the State pay attention to reviews?
I would rate it lower if I could. I was there for 2.5 hours to get a flu shot and eventually left without one. They didnt even know I was waiting even though I checked in when I got there. I gave up and went to Walmart and got great service.
My wife scheduled a covid vaccine for my father two days prior to the date, all info went through and was good to go. Took my father in and was told they have nothing on file scheduled and there is no walk in availability.I go home and attempt to make another appointment and it shows that there is an availability at 12 noon despite being told they are full for today. So I try to call the store and get placed on hold for a total of 20 minutes and get hung up on twice.Would not recommend using this pharmacy and would suggest Martins.
From the reviews I am reading, it sounds like this place is a disaster that needs to be shut down. I agree with the fact that there should be an option to rate 0 for this location because they are absolutely the most unprofessional, rude& unorganized so called pharmacy I have ever encountered. YALL ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING CUSTOMERS (POSSIBLY LIFE SAVING) PRESCRIPTIONS TOGETHER&PLACING THEM IN THE CORRECT LOCATION FOR PICK UP, I DID NOT REALIZE THAT IT TOOK A COLLEGE DEGREE TO BE EDUCATED ENOUGH TO FILL AND FILE BUT THE STAFF HERE ARE MAKING IT SEEM LIKE ROCKET SCIENCE THAT THEY ALSO have by far NOT MASTERED I have dealt with this pharmacy for the last time they sucked before Lesters closed(sadly) but since taking over the clients from Lesters they have surprisingly done nothing but get worse !!!!
Less than a zero. I was both harassed by techs and the pharmacist cussed at me called me the n word and then flipped me off. This was after being denied my meds for a week now and they have been less than helpful getting me them. They have lied several times about when I can pick up and actually have turned me away 3x even though I have the prescription. Theyre stating its an issue with medicaid however just wont let me pay in cash saying its corporate policy. Smh Not all but most of their techs are uneducated and unhelpful at best and have very rude demeanors. Trust me after this experience I was on the phone with corporate for an hour.
Keri works in the pharmacy. She was very very good and efficient and a multi multi tasked. She helped us with time sensitive medicine quickly. Thank you you are a great asset to CVS
This pharmacy is the worst. I’m currently on hold now for 20 minutes!!! This isn’t the first time either. Also takes them FOREVER to fill medications when the place is empty. Something needs to be done. ASAP
Told us 20 minutes for my 6 month old to get amoxicillin. Took 40 minutes and 3 people were standing there gossiping for 10 minutes straight while I waited to check on the prescription. Phone rang over and over and no one answered. HORRIBLE service and to gossip and talk about previous employees/thinks outside of work while customers are waiting to be taken care of is very UNPROFESSIONAL. Only helpful one was the lady at the actual counter, she seemed like she felt bad about the service. Will not be using this cvs location ever again.
Can we say RUDE!! My mom has been using CVS for years, ever since they have hired new people and moved locations everything has gone down hill. All of the workers are super rude except 2 nice ladies and 1 gentleman that is there. My mom has very bad health issues and is on automatic refill and now I have to call every month for them to refill and when I get the texts that it is ready its never ready. I can call right when they open to have them refill her medicine and go to pick it up the next morning(giving them 24 hours) and they still wont have it ready. I dont understand why this place has gotten so bad but Im moving my mom to a new place today. She doesnt deserve to be treated this way and neither does anyone else. Hopefully they can get it together but I will not be waiting for this to happen.
Had a prescription sent over from the doctors and it took a little over an hour to get there after the prescription was sent over. I went thru the drive thru to pick it up but was told it was not ready yet and they would expedite it and it would be filled in 20 minutes. I waited and then went inside to pick it up. I was told it wasnt ready yet, and I watched them print out the prescription and that is when they started to fill it. I had to wait another 30 minutes before they finally filled it.
Worst darn pharmacy I have ever used in my life. They tell you that your meds will be ready by 4pm..you show up at 5pm, they still arent ready.
I’d give them zero stars if possible.
The pharmacist is really nice here. The techs and pharmacy cashiers though aren’t.
Not really sure why this CVS has been getting so much flak, but Ive been going here for a little over a year, and sure, there have been one or two off times that I went in and felt like they had been slightly rude, but I go there about every other week, and never have had a single issue with the store or staff. Generally speaking, I find that all of the members of staff, pharmacy or otherwise, have been polite and professional. Dont be discouraged by the Karens that must be super easily offended, its really a pleasant atmosphere, especially with their newer location. Just my opinion, though. 🤔
Took to long to fill prescriptions. Was supposed to be on automatic fill but that didn’t happen. Bad customer service. Changed to Family Pharmacy
Worst experience i have ever had at cvs.
I would give this CVS zeros stars if possible. In the last few days I have tried to call 5 times. Waited on hold for over 15 min before giving up on someone answering. Go to another pharmacy if you actually want to speak to a human being.
This CVS location was always hit or miss when it came to customer service, but lately it has been worse than a miss. They bought the customer base from a popular local pharmacy and it is clear that they did nothing to gear up for the additional business. I called in a simple refill and one phone call where I was on hold for 20 minutes and two visits where I had to stand in two lines on one visit and three lines the final visit. Im so done with them.
2 weeks ago my doctor called in 3 prescriptions for my son. Go to pick up the next day and they still were not ready, but I asked to give them my insurance info so that we could just pickup and to the next day, but they said no. Go back the next day and they were ready, but when I gave them my insurance card they said it wasn’t correct and I needed to call the company to find out more info (just switched companies, needed numbers not provided on the card). Cool, if you had taken my insurance info the first time I was here, we could have avoided this. Go home, deal with insurance, honestly forgot about other two meds until this week when they sent a reminder. Flash forward to today... called in to give them insurance info over the phone so my husband could just swing in on his way home & grab it. Spent 29 minutes on hold before someone answered. Asked to give insurance info to them & they wouldn’t allow me to give info over the phone & stated “it’s easier for us if you come in”. That’s awesome, glad it makes your job easier, but it is not easy for your customer to drag 3 small children into a store to wait in long lines. Whatever. Go into the store, give them the name, I’m told I need to speak with someone else to give them insurance info. So I do that, wait 35 minutes for them to enter info & rebill insurance. I’m standing off to the side like they asked me to, but I finally get back in line behind about 10 other customers because have they forgotten orrrr? Finally get up there & the cashier says “oh that was done a while ago” sooooo if you knew you asked me to stand to the side, WHY did you not call the name when it was done so I could have left? To make matters even worse, the employees were very audibly arguing with one another, two of them even arguing right in front of my face about who was going to go on break AS THEY WERE HELPING ME, and even more baffling they were complaining about customers in the drive through and their requests IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. By far the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever witnessed from a business. First & last time ever using this CVS. I’ll drive across town before I deal with this again.
Too bad zero stars isnt an option. Automated system didnt recognize my RX number, then sat on hold for an hour before they finally hung up on me.Dropped it off in person and was told I could pick it up next day. These are not the kind of meds you can just stop taking. Went in today and waited at the counter for 15 min before someone finally came up to talk to me and now theyre saying its going to be tomorrow or the next day. No apologies, sympathy, or remorse. Do they not realize peoples meds can be literally life or death?CVS is the worst.
Worse Pharmacy ever I do not recommend this Pharmacy to anyone
Every time you go pick up a prescription they have an excuse for why it wasnt filled in a timely manner. Be ready to make 2 to 3 trips to get your prescription. Im done with this place. Guess I will go deal with Martins for now smh!!!!
Total Customer DisregardAlthough I signed up online for a time slot to get my flu shot when I got there they told me they didnt have any. CVS, despite their new location in the old Rite Aid, is the same as it was before-very poor customer service. Since the online flu shot functionality is a corporate action this customer disregard must come from the top to the store level. I wasted an hour and to add insult to injury they have a sign out on Rte. 55-Flu Shots Here. Do you believe it? The person that told me they were out was in no way apologetic. Not even a simple Im sorry. CVS needs to invest in some employee training on expressing a level of customer concern or empathy. I will NEVER step in that store again.
Just as slow as always. Our preferred family owned pharmacy closed, and sure enough CVS nought them out. Rarely ever have a good experience here.
This is long, but I feel like people need to know about this pharmacy. I am a very patient and understanding person, but today was the last straw for me. My doc sent in a new script for me on Tuesday. I got a text from CVS on Wednesday and Thursday saying it was ready for pickup at that location. I went Friday to get it and while the girl was standing at the window with my meds in her hand, their system crashed. No big deal, it happens. She asked me to drive around the building so she could restart it. I waited another 20 minutes in the drive thru line and got to the window again and it was still down. I had my 2 small kids with me so I just decided to try again on Monday (today). I go and wait in the drive thru line again, get to the window and she tells me my script is on hold so she goes to find out why. She comes back and tells me that its too early for my refill and that I cant have it for 4 more weeks. Mind you this is a new medication Ive never had filled before, it is not a controlled substance, and I explained to her that I had received 3 text messages saying it was ready for pick up. I told her what had happened with their system crashing and that maybe there was a glitch. She goes to talk to someone then comes back and says it looks like my script was filled at another location. It was not. She went and got some other woman who was SUPER rude and told me I cant have my meds yet and that I need to call my doctor. She said they have nothing to do with the text messages and she doesnt know where they came from.I called the target CVS and had ZERO issues. They are filling my script today and said they dont see what the issue is either. Just avoid this pharmacy.
Just spoke to the rudest woman at this CVS, who answered the phone and seemed extremely bothered by my 2 easy-to-answer questions regarding moneygram & CVS. Hey Jennifer, if youre this irritated by a nice customer who asks you 2 simple questions and treats you with respect, why are you working with the public. And, CVS, why would you have someone with such an awful attitude representing your brand? Definitely WILL NOT be using this store. Id rather drive across town, where people are kind & happy to help.
Very rude people.
Worst place ever to get thru to. If they couldnt handle buying out the local pharmacy then they should have not purchased it. I have been on hold for 2 hrs 55 minutes and no answer their phone
Scheduled at 6am online for a 3:30pm flu shot appt. Received a reminder text at 2pm for appt and instructions. Left work early to make appt. upon checking in at pharmacy, I was told very bluntly that they were not giving flu shots and that I would have to come back on Saturday or Sunday first come first serve. Seriously!!!!
Awful, rude and unhelpful. They dont communicate well and they never get my refills correct. They treat me as if I did something wrong versus taking accountability!
CVS is constantly calling both me and my doctor to renew a prescription. The calls are ROBO calls they leave a message if you are not home. My Vet called me earlier to say they are receiving annoying calls from CVS to renew prescriptions for my dog that passed away. It is extremely difficult to reach a real person to speak to because of all the recorded messages. I really miss Rite Aid. 1/22/21 TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE . Had my prescriptions moved to Martins Pharmacy today, for good. I have been waiting 4+ hours for them to fill a prescription. I called to ask if it was filled and they told me I had to call my Doctor so he could verify the amount.
Every time my husband goes there to pick a rx up it is never ready.....and that’s with it supposing to be ready the day before! I travel for my job and this is the worse cvs by far.
Do these people even answer the phone? Sat on hold with the pharmacy for 45 minutes. Finally just gave up and hung up. Now I’ve been on hold with the main store line for a half hour and have yet to get an answer. This place is awful.
The worst! Nobody answers the phone for the pharmacy or the store.
4 days ago was told my dr did not renew my meds . So I called my dr this am script was sent in about 9am, clerk first tried to say it wasn’t there then after I insisted it was she said it will be ready about 3 and this was at 1pm, ok I been out of my meds for four days bc you couldn’t handle my refill from dr and now you say it is not there and now I have to wait two more hours . Get some educated workers there and keep the phones away from employees meds are important to a lot of folks
The last 3 times I have filled a prescription there they have lost it and never filled it though my doctor time and time again has communicated w them. Rude and unhelpful
Yes, pharmacist ladies are extremely rude!! They all should be fired!! Very short on phone, doesn’t use manners, and just hangs up on you. This needs to be addressed NOW.
Rudest pharmacy cashiers Ive ever had to deal with. 4 different transactions and its as if the try to out do each other by seeing who can be the rudest. With Rite-aid closing its even worse.CVS needs to clean house.
The pharmacists are great, but the staff/pharmacy techs that work here are absolutely miserable! They treat people like theyre doing something wrong & all but shame you for certain things you take. Theyre rude & unprofessional!
Really rude. I was just trying to see if my medicine was in (after they called and said it was ready) and then informed me it wasnt and told me to leave because I was holding up the line, even though I was only at the window for a minute or two !
The pharmacy is extremely rude and unhelpful. Some serious training in customer service is needed in this department.
Awful. I am picking up my prescription that is tantamount to my health not ordering a pizza, or picking up wine.Rude, unprofessional, with zero accountability. Thanks for the great customer service.
This is the worst Pharmacy I think Ive ever been to I have lived in Front Royal now for a few months and just recently I had another problem with my insulin for some reason they just dont order the insulin after my doctor had sent them countless prescriptions to get it filled just to avoid going to the hospital I had to use an old insulin pen. 7 Days Later they call me back again to CVS to pick up 10 vials of insulin when my doctor sent over prescriptions for only three vials apparently it was a back order? Yeah if someone needed meds and it depends on their life and for their health I would not go to the CVS I would get it filled in the next County or out and Winchester which I wasnt driving an hour and something odd minutes to get a prescription in Winchester when I live right here in town a Front Royal
Pharmacist is extremely rude. We were in there on Friday March 20th at 5 pm and I asked a question. The pharmacist was rude and condescending. All the people waiting in line witnessed this. No need for someone like that dealing with the public.
This CVS Pharmacy is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. We’ve been using them on and off for the last 2 yrs, because it’s a convenient location but I have to officially cut ties and will drive the extra 20 minutes across town. They repeatedly write/fill the prescriptions WRONG. Our doctor will send us home with doses and then CVS will make up their own. We’ll call to confirm with our doctor that the prescription changed and every single time, they’ve not ordered the change. This is scary. My daughter received antibiotics recently and CVS had it written for 3 TIMES THE DOSE the doctor said to give her! 75% of the staff is rude and unprofessional and it’s just not okay.CVS Pharmacy out at Target is hands down 100% more accurate, professional, and kind.
This kerra girl in the pharmacy has an attitude problem, not polite at all and appears racist. She turns me off completely- hope next time I go there shell be long gone. CVS needs better staff or close down
Yep, pharmacy staff are very rude and short, over the phone and in person. Would give negative stars if could!
Worst Pharmacy in town. Cant wait til they just close it up. Redhead behind the counter at pharmacy gave my mom an attitude while dropping and her pain meds for the surgery she had coming up. Gave her the prescription back and told her they didnt have it, she asked if they could keep it, and get it filled before Thursday, they day she comes home after surgery. The lady said yes, but guess what.. called Thursday.. no prescription. Wasnt even summited for approval yet. Had to get doctor to give another one so we could get her meds before she came home. Dont waste your time here. Its a matter of time before they lose so much business the doors wont open.
I called this CVS three days before my doctors appointment (on a Friday as my appointment was Monday) to make sure they would have my medications on Monday and they said they had them. After my doctors appointment, I called to see when I could pick then up but they said they didnt have either and had no idea when they would be back in stock... Very unprofessional
This CVS is totally unprofessional and understaffed. My mother has her prescriptions filled here and its a fight EVERY MONTH in trying to pick them up. Ive called headquarters and they looked into it but no positive changes have been made. The auto call is always calling saying your prescription is filled, however, when we go out to CVS to pick it up, of course, the pharmacy says we dont have it in the system. Really? Even on refills??? I hope one day CVS headquarters will take drastic measures to whip them into shape. We are now taking all prescriptions to Walgreens. Ive heard many positive things about them. GOODBYE CVS!!!
Quite possibly the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. The pharmacist is fine but the front desk people are awful. I told the girl at desk I needed Levothyroxine by Sandoz and that I have an anaphylactic reaction to other brands. She waved a bottle and says she had it right there. It was filled and I took it and had terrible reaction with shortness of breath. I looked at my bottle and sure enough, it was NOT Sandoz brand, but Mylin. I called the pharmacist who said she would order it for me and it would be ready the next evening. It wasn’t able to be ordered but no one bothered to call and let me know. Many other times they have texted to say a script was ready but when we show up, it’s not. Also, my cardiologist wrote two scripts for brand name drugs bc of possible reactions I have to generics and the pharmacist filled them with generic drugs. I don’t know what is going on at this place but these people need to be replaced. I have a condition that requires me to take prescriptions as they’re written. I’m transferring all of my scripts elsewhere.
This place is better than Walmart pharmacy
Fast service.
Very helpful pharmacy employees
I have never met people so rude and lazy until trying this pharmacy due to location.....They are rude on the phone too Never go again
The slowest, most understaffed pharmacy in town.
Good
