The service department here is top notch. I had always been told dont take it to a dealer, its too expensive. I now regret listening to that advice. The service department here is fast and efficient, up front with costs, and very clear on what you need versus what you could wait on. They fix it right the first time. Ive been coming here for years, and plan to continue.

My wife was working with the internet sales person Steve on a Bronco Sport. He said, the one you want is on the lot, come down and test drive it. I drove over from Costa Mesa and drove what he said was the correct vehicle only to find out that it was a different, $4K more expensive, vehicle. The one he said was on the lot, hadnt even arrived at the dealership. I wasnt happy about that, but we negotiated a deal for the more expensive one. Signed all the paperwork in finance, then they told me it had a recall on it that would hopefully be fixed in the morning. Got a call the next day, fix would take 2-4 weeks. Biggest problem is that the recall(for a fuel module), occurred almost a month earlier and they knew about it before they wasted 3 hours of my time and ran my credit. Never enjoy buying a car, but this dealership is horrible. Best thing I can say is that they all had smiles on their faces as they wasted my time!

Had a great experience with this dealership. We had been looking for our car that we wanted to purchase for quite a while, finding it nowhere, until finally found it here. Unfortunately they were closing in under an hour and we were way more than that away from the place. Not wanting to have the car sold out from under me, I asked the manager if we could put a deposit down to hold the car. He said that they don’t typically do that especially for the type of car we wanted, but he was willing to make an exception for us. We were able to put down a deposit and go the next day to pick up the car. Process of signing the paperwork was fairly easy, the car was fully charged and ready for us to go. One caveat, the car did not have the charger inside and when we asked about getting it, we were told it didn’t come with one. We knew that was not true and made them go get it. So just make sure everything is with your car thats supposed to be there.

Having purchased loyally from Fritts Ford in Riverside for years, I randomly did a search for a vehicle I was in the market for and I found it here and another dealer in Carlsbad. Ron was on top of this sale from the beginning and got right back to me on a couple inquiries I had on this F-150 Platinum. From the results of my search in the morning, I bought this vehicle before the end of the day. With the current climate of available inventory, demand and choices, I consider myself very lucky having made the move along with Ron, the Fleet Manager. Enhancing this deal was the attitude of Steve, the Sales Manager and Chad, in Finance. What a Trifecta. Never thinking I would have the comfort going outside of my Ford Dealer for years in Riverside, this Dealer surely has made my list of a place I would definitely work with again in the future. These men I dealt with are real. And they honor Veterans such as myself. In todays world with Dealers getting invoice and above invoice on vehicles, my vehicle was discounted immediately by 1000.00 by Steve. Something he didnt have to do...........period. The best part. I didnt even ask for a discount at the time he gave it to me. He just did it as Ron told him I was a Marine Corps Veteran. Not that I told Ron that, but rather Ron took note of my Veteran Baseball Cap. In comparison, the Dealer in Carlsbad that I had talked to earlier before my arrival at McCoy and Mills wanted 5000.00 starting over invoice for the same vehicle. Ironically, while I was doing my credit app with Ron, that Dealer calls me and offers over the phone, 1950.00 over invoice. What a laugh and a joke. In summary, there may be good and bad reviews, but just bear in mind that in all cases, there are 2 sides to each story. My story? The best of deals outside of all the deals Ive made over the years and not just on cars and trucks, but I surely couldnt have gone wrong on any day elsewhere. My suggestion to you who read this. Dont hesitate on giving this Ford Dealership a shot, even if you have to drive a few extra miles. As I stated earlier, Steve gave me that 1000.00 discount as for myself wearing my Marine Corps Veteran Baseball Cap. To the Dealer in Carlsbad I can say this............If you wear a Dealer Baseball Cap or a Ford Baseball Cap at your Dealership, you need to consider trading the Baseball Cap in for possibly a Paper Hat at your local Dairy Queen where you can spend the rest of your days selling ice cream and settling the discomfort of the blue hairs like me on whether or not to have sugar, M+Ms or freaking Cake Sprinkles on their ice cream.

The drop off want smooth, my service Advisor Stephanie Hugo was very professional and polite. When I asked for a car wash she wrote it on the ticket and I was on my way. I was due for an oil change and tire rotation. Got a call back about 2 hrs. Later and Stephanie said vehicle is getting washed and will be ready by the time i get there. They called me at 9am i didnt pick it up till noon, and the car wash never happened, wish technicians would read all the notes.

Bought a 2020 Mustang and all I have to say is, I absolutely love it. Big shout out to Jim, and Al. If you guys want a good deal on anything, I definitely recommend both of them. The service personnel was very professional, and got my car done in a timely manner. I was able to wait in a comfortable customer lounge and the whole experience went great. I am definitely going to schedule future serving with them.

They fixed the problems my car had however when I got in the car I could hear and feel it idling rough, so went back in and told them. Machinic was out so was ask to wait. I ask to bring it back in the morning.EDIT: So I took my car back in for the rough idling and engine misfire at driving speed, now let me say it goes away after driving say 5 miles so I know its just moisture in the coils and or plug wires and its an easy fix with paper towels or wd 40. I got the call later from mccoy mills ford advising me the coils need replacing, two spark plugs need replacing and all plug wires need replacing for only $900 (mind you the car ran great before I took it in the first time and paid $1252). Also the intake manifold is leaking now. How the hell can replacing a radiator end up costing over $2157, has Ford become dishonest and perform shady tactics like mechanics causing new problems to repair ?, a shade tree mechanic could do no worse. And cheaperPS they never gave me a senior citizen discount, so I give them a -3 star

Evelyn was very helpful to me and had me in and out. I usually do my own oil changes but was very happy with the experience. Also I asked to have my cabin air filter checked which was maybe 1.5 years old and they okayed the old one and saved me money vs just charging me and replacing with a new one. Thanks a lot! We made our decision, then Jim and Drew delivered our new Transit 250 at noon the next day. Love the van and love the service!

They invited me to come in because they had gotten in a car that I had been wanting to test drive. When I got there the sales person told me that I would not be allowed to test drive the car because if it hasMiles on it they wouldn’t be able to get as much markup for it. He told me if I bought the car I could drive it then. I went elsewhere to get my new car after that.

So I went and engaged with this dealership.The end to end process took a few days. This is not because of McCoy & Mills Ford. It was because I needed to work through my own tendency to buy foreign made cars. My sales person (Paul Smock) was there for me and made me feel at ease at every step. He let me go for few days to work out what I needed to work out, even we had the details of the deal all drawn out.To me, this is good customer service. Giving me room to work things out at the risk of losing the deal. Well, I had my truck for the past 2 weeks and I dont regret it for a moment. McCoy is a local business to me. As a small business myself, I will do my part to support it in the ways I can. I know where I will go when we need our next vehicle - for the business and personally.

We have been buying and having our cars serviced at McCoy Mills Ford for over 20 years. Their work is always well done. Everyone is helpful and friendly. I just have no problems with my car and that is important for a woman who doesnt want to be stuck on the road somewhere. Their agency is just excellent!

Called this dealership first for price out the door gave stock # for the truck advertised, they gave me a quote I said great Ill be down. We get there and they say Oh we made a mistake we didnt include the lift kit on the advertisement so of course it was MUCH more. Mistakes happen I can understand that, but thats not our mistake and they should have honored that price if thats what there advertising! We would have purchased it outright on the spot. Ill NEVER go back & will tell my friends & family not to go there. Feel like it was just a trick to get us in. They quoted under $40K out the door when we get there they tell us Its over $45K without tax & license!

Made and appointment for air bag recall. I let them know that I needed to be in and out as quickly as possible for work and they said it would take about an hour. I was in and out within an hour! I then got to do my cars second favorite thing...filler up!

We found a vehicle we were interested in online and asked if it was available. We received a quick response and we responded later with a few questions after closing time, but Bonnie promptly responded the next morning. We werent able to make it out from Riverside for a couple of days but Bonnie offered to let us know if it happened to sell before then.We got there and Bonnie was busy inside, but Paul helped us out. He was a very nice family guy who was considerate of all of our questions and was full of knowledge to answer every single one. We were able to get a good test drive to see how the car handled and I was able to test every button/switch/handle/lever to know that everything was in working order. Paul was patient as we looked the car over with a fine tooth comb. We did throw a couple of questions at him he had to check on, but got us the answers almost immediately. We sat down to start the paperwork and Paul continued to help us and work with finance. Even while Gene was getting the sale and finance paperwork together, Paul was continuing conversation and answering other questions we had. Reminded me of the friendly neighbor next door. Plus, it helped pass the time while everything paperwork wise was taken care of. (I dont think Ive signed so much paperwork before. LOL)I love that they have been family owned and operated since 1930. This was a great buy/investment and McCoy & Mills staff really made us feel like VIPs on a red carpet. Even though they are not super close to us, we will check with them first when we are looking to buy another car in the future.

REVIEW IS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE:The customer service team is beyond anything I have experienced. Recently I dropped off my car late on a Friday and headed home. Only to realize I had left my house keys on the key ring with my car. I frantically called the service department to see if they would stay there late so I could come get my keys. Thankfully Danny, my service representative, offered to drive them to me because I was on his way home. This was such a relief since my husband was not in town and I had no other spare. For someone to go above and beyond in this way means so much to me. It is because of employees like Danny I will forever be a McCoy & Mills customer.

Ive been going to McCoy Mills Ford for over 6 years and have never had a bad experience. Ron, was super helpful, he even assisted with getting my car washed just to speed things up a little so I could drive my new Ranger off the lot. Some cars salespeople Ive dealt with in the past have been pushy and high-pressured. This can make buying a car stressful. Tommy is just the opposite. He is down-to-earth and helpful.
