The store # 187 looks great, The manager Karen really cleaned the store up. She is very customer friendly and goes the extra effort to find what you are looking for. She made me feel she wanted my business, no attitude, a great shopping experience. Thank you Karen for the BIN.

It was large with many good items from frames to candy for parties and cleaned up. Would recommend this 99 cent store to go too.

Got a bedsheet set, candle and 2 funky sunglasses for under $17. Lady at the register was super slow and had me open my own bag because she couldnt manage to do it lol. Store still gets 5 stars though.

This was a local 99c store i hadnt visited yet but i stopped by earlier and didnt know where a couple items were located. i asked two different team members and they both helped me out although they were missing some of the items i normally buy i went with some alternative brands which should be alright. id return if im in the area as the customer service was pretty good.

The store is filthy the shelf that the food sits on looks like it had not been cleaned in years. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable

The only bad thing is that there wasnt any cart around. I have to go for one at parking lot. I asked one of the workers where are the carts and she just said there is none

I didnt have the best experience at checkout. When I was placing items on the register when I noticed that a floor cleaner had spilled a little bit, thankfully it spilled inside of my reusable bag and not somewhere else. My mom, who was with me asked the cashier (Maria) if she could trade it for another bottle. The cashier sighed at us and after a pause she told us that if we did, another person would have to pay for the item that spilled. I didnt think it was fair for someone else to pay for that, so in the end I decided to just take it with me. When I got home I read the return policy and it said that I have 9 days to do an exchange or receive store credit. (This happened on 03/31/2021 at 7:17pm)

Clean, fully stocked, friendly staff & had no problem getting extra staff at check out when lines were full!!Very Pleased, especially compared to a few 99cent only stores in the same proximity!! This will become my 99cent only store even though its a mile farther than the one I now use to go!!

I love the occasional stroll through the 99¢ store to find a bargain or something useful for the short term that I wont have a problem getting rid of afterwards (ie Halloween 🎃 decorations). This store was better stocked and run than many Ive been to and the staff was friendly.

Ill post this here, as I never have gotten a response back from the store surveys. Yes, the merchandise is good and affordable. There is never enough help, normally two checkers, and the standing and waiting is frustrating. There has been numerous times where a customer is behind me and sighing loudly, in order to get another check stand open.You have a sign on the door, that reads do not put items into personal bags when shopping. I have been stopped and said do not do that. I understand, if you kept baskets FULLY STOCKED in front, you wouldnt have to assume we were stealing! I am not going to carry my items when you cant supply enough hand baskets! There are never ANY carts or baskets when I am there! You want to give me attitude, then wheres a basket so Im not looking like Im stealing!EDIT...The chip readers suck!!!!

Honestly, this store is quite unique. Especially certain staff members. For example, just to name a few, Yesenia, Sammy, Jeneva, Luis, Cyrus, and the store manager himself Zachary. Theyre all my favorite employees! Im a regular and I definitely recommend coming in at night, the evening employees are quite friendly and always helpful. However there is one cashier that always has the best customer service. I will not reveal his name because, as you may know, identity theft is not a joke. His sense of humor is extraordinary but calls people trash. Its hilarious and he is friendly as well. His skills are on par with the store manager. The night vibe is the best and I recommend this store to anyone. Unfortunately, they dont have any tip jars. 99 Cents Store Corporate, if youre out there, a suggestion of mine would be to allow tip jars. Or, at the very least, to allow that little take a penny leave a penny thing. All the best!

Clean, variety of products, low prices, very friendly and helpful staff. At register mentioned I couldnt find a product and an employee heard this and fetched 2 varieties for me to choose from. Im impressed,!!

For a discount store yes one of the best. For the longest time they carried Dove soap and now they dont. Im dad about that. Also dollar tree carries Elf cosmetics and was hoping 99 cent would jump on that wagon too.

Ever since the new change in management and the store adjustment things really have not been the same at this location todays experience was extremely hostile with manager Larry and sales associate Olga giving nothing but attitude regarding inventory being in stock and how things are being handled at this location coming from a local shopper and have seen the changes it is all downhill they need another change in management and hopefully someone who cares about their job because quote what Larry said Im only here for transactions and this is a response from the management which is terrible

The day that Im writing this there is a lot of traffic out front because they are doing a bunch of road construction on Chapman even the on-ramp going south is closed so it was difficult to get there but I did it anyways so I can get my ham salami cheese bread and an energy drink for todays lunch good way to save a few ducats and probably healthier I hope the construction is complete by the next time I work in this area

Not the best 99 around, but decent selection of 3rd world quality grocery and myriad sundries at a price that cannot be beat. sometimes the lines are horrendously long since its so understaffed.unfortunately, you end up spending way more money buying the cheap thing that breaks or doesnt work right...like dont use 99c bungee cords on your brand new Cali King that was worth 2 grand until it flew out the back of your truck and got soaked in all those peoples blood. you know, like dont buy condoms or trashbags here

Always short on basic groceries. Since new management took over few months ago, basic things that were always there previously are no longer there. No Cucumbers most days. No spinach for salad. By the way these two items are in stock everywhere. You are better off going to the one on Lincoln and State College.

The name of the place is 99 Cents Only but things were $3.99, $2.99, $1.99 or $.99 . I thought that was a trick other stores did. I thought everything was suppose to be ONLY 99 Cents?!? I didnt buy anything because I was afraid that when I got to the register it would be more than 99 cents.

What better than everything at .99 cents?? This store have everything that you can need for your house and a well selection of vegetables and fresh fruits.

They have rice cookers 6qrts 14.99 and slow cookers 6qrts 12.99. Off brand Swiffer wetjets 7.99

Never fails I go in there to get 1 or 2 items and walk out with 15. Today Thanksgiving open for the forgotten items. Busy as always!

What would life be without a 99 cent store in the neighborhood? Tragic! I was in need of a cellphone cable and this store saved the day. Lines were long even though all registers were on deck.
