Pizzas were pretty good. Crust was crispy and thin, ingredients tasted fresh. Its just a bit expensive for what it is. Service was friendly and food was ready on time. Id come back if Im craving neopolitan pizza again. Next time I want to try some of their appetizers and a calzone.

MidiCi has to be the best pizza restaurant in all of Gainesville. While high quality is to be expected from a Neopolitan restaurant, MidiCi goes above and beyond with a unique interior atmosphere and attentive wait staff. The quality of ingredients in both the calzone and pizza was superb, and I have not seen an egg topping executed quite as well as here. While the spices in the calzone left something to be desired - as the spicy part did not come through - the calzone itself was still cooked to perfection. While I went when they werent as busy, Id recommend going to MidiCi over any other pizza place out there for the quiet climate.

Back for do over! After returning after a off night, our food was back to greatness! The pizza was normal size and top quality. Big thanks to manager Iana for getting things back to normal! Will remain our go to pizza place.

I went to this restaurant with my daughter and son in law. Son and I ordered pizzas. I ordered one with mushrooms and the waitress came out to say they were out of mushrooms so I subbed spinach. We waited. My sons pizza came and about 10 minutes later, my daughters salad came. We waited. Finally, we had to leave and they brought my pizza. I asked them to box it as we were late to our movie. The waitress apologized but offered no solution to our problem. My daughter suggested that they comp my pizza as we sat for an hour waiting and it came as we had to leave. The waitress reluctantly checked with the manager who did comp it. So, slow, no coordination in a party’s order, and kind of indifferent. NOT HAPPY

I’ve eaten here the past two nights in a row. The pizza is absolutely delicious, but what made the experience extra special for me was the way the staff treated me…, just like family. Great food and a great staff, it’s a recipe for success!!! If you’re nearby, make sure you stop in!!!

Really really wanted to love this place. We waited over an hour for a table. The pizzas were not cooked all the way through and one of the orders was just wrong. We asked for a well done pizza and it was still raw. If they can figure out how to cook pizzas it will be a great place! Locations is amazing.

One of my favorite places to eat in Gainesville. The cocktails are incredible, I’m never disappointed. Arguably the best pizza in town. The atmosphere is bright and the staff are warm and welcoming. A “total package” for a laid back but elevated date night.

Midici’s has become an absolute favorite after work stop in & weekend place to get together with friends. The food is always good and there are always plenty of vegetarian options. Love the drinks too - and as great as all of those things are, it’s the people who work here who really make the place amazing. Pull up a seat at the bar & enjoy just hanging out or decompressing from work. Or sit on the patio & enjoy the live music once or twice a week. Highly recommend!

David and staff provided excellent service to our party this evening, and the food was great. We enjoyed the fresh ingredients and flavorful salads and pizzas. Full transparency, we also received a free scoop of ice cream for leaving a review, but a great review for Midici Pizza at Celebration Pointe is long overdue. This is one of my favorite places in Gainesville and I really appreciated their continue service during Covid-19.

As frequent customers to the Gainesville MidiCi, I hate to leave such a poor review but today was awful. We ordered via Uber Eats takeout which stated it was a 15-20 minute wait which is about the length of the drive to pick up. After waiting an additional 30 minutes and having the staff constantly ask “would you like any water while you wait?” and “I’m not sure while it’s taking so long for your order”. After finally getting our order which consisted of two pizzas, garlic bread, and the “New York cheesecake”, we were highly disappointed. The garlic bread was hardened toast with shredded cheese, the cheesecake for super tiny for $6 a slice, and the pizza was smaller than normal. I’m hoping it was just an off night because we are always happy with our service and food up until now.

He did not lie, this place is amazing from the ambience, to the friendly service, and the wonderful food!!! You can actually taste the fresh ingredients!! It is located in Gainesville newly developed eat/ shop/live/ Celebration Pointe center with movie theater. A relaxing walkable hip place. We started with Burrata Caprese (yum!) as appetizer. Followed with Chicken Pesto Calzone (so good!), Hawaiian Calzone, the Forest pizza. All fresh made with wood fired. High ceiling with large TV screen, on going music. The outdoor seatings are cozy & welcoming! Sit to eat & people watching or strolling the shops.....I give thumb up!

Wonderful local dining spot for pizza if you like Neapolitan style. Wine and cocktail options are great and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend!

THE BEST PIZZA IN GAINESVILLE. I’ve been living here for 3 years and this is hands down the most authentic Italian pizza in the area. The food is cooked in a wood fired oven and is to die for. Celebration Pointe is a great area for dinner with family or friends and MidiCi has the best food. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is here.

Our search for the prefect pizza place continues. We ordered a Gorgonzola salad which was huge so decided to split as we also got pizza. The waitress brought out these tiny plates to eat from (pic) – hope they invest in some large plates in the future. The salad was delicious but a wee bit lite on the dressing and (a major sin for me), No Tomatoes?! On to the pizza. Quite tasty and would have been perfect had it not been for the soggy crust (another sin). The waitress was ok meaning she had to be asked twice for some things but eventually got them to the table. It was Sunday, and perhaps that made a difference so to be fair will try MidiCi again.

Appetizers are great, staff (Front & back) is extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. Prices are okay, and the pizza is great. You can taste the freshness of the toppings. Impressed with my first visit and will be back!! On a side note, the music is good enough to keep me here for hours😎

The closest to Neapolitan pizza in town since Ameraucana (RIP TO THE GOAT).The service has a very friendly disposition, even if they’re in scramble mode since most people are struggling to hire in the post-pandemic era.The pizza isn’t the same Neapolitan quality of say, ‘Antico’ in Atlanta, but it’s a great casual option if you’re in the mood for some woodfire dough.

MidiCi takes the crown for #1 pizza in Gainesville in my eyes. The pizza is phenomenal (try The Meats at least once), the staff is incredibly friendly, fast service, and a great music playlist inside the restaurant to boot. I dont have much time in town left but I will definitely visiting as many times I can before I go!

I really love this place. They can make a great vegan pizza here! Also the bruschetta is vegan and both are super magnificent. They have vegan sausage and vegan cheese for the pizza and the bruschetta is grilled crisp in olive oil.

Great salad dressing they make in-house if I remember correctly.Pizza for me and 2 kids, and two house salads and 3 sodas, came to $75 with the tip. Which was extra, cause the service was extra :) So it wont ever be our go-to for pizza on a single mom budget, but my just turned teen wanted to go somewhere cool and it was great for that:)

Overall, not a terrible experience at Midici. I went on a Saturday night, and as expected, it was a little busy.We ordered the shrimp scampi, and it was absolutely delicious! It was a nice and light pizza that had the perfect balance of toppings and sauce. When you first get it, you might mistake it for a salad because of the mountain of arugula on it, but believe me when I say, it’s perfect! It’s a little tricky to eat, but I enjoyed every bite of it.Service wasn’t the best, but it’s also understandable considering the volume of customers. David was our server, but he never checked back on us. Instead, 3 other people came and went to our table, and I felt like I was imposing on other servers whenever I asked them for something I needed. The front of house just felt disorganized in general. As we were leaving, however, almost all of the cooks behind the counter greeted us goodbye, which was nice.

Pizza is above average and the service is good. A little pricey for what you get but ultimately not bad at all.

As we were having a great time the host Iana provided premier customer service for all of us today I am amazed and will continue to be amazed by MidiCis tasty food!!

This is my go to place when I want good pizza!!! The dough is incredible. You can tell they use quality ingredients! Love the tomato sauce is very subtle. The nutella calzone is OUT OF THIS WORLD, they do not skim on the Nutella! Personally I order it without the berries and balsamic I only order it with the nutella and never had a problem! Salads are also very good. Ambiance is very nice.————————Update: Came here again, I thought the pizza was delicious (Love the crust and the sauce is perfect! Very good ingredients), but I felt like it could use more cheese.When I was stuffing my mouth with pizza, the waitress came with the bill (She didn’t ask me if I wanted it, nor did I requested it). So with my mouth full I had to tell her that I actually wanted to order dessert. (She interrupted me before I could say anything with “Oh can I get you a box?”.I found that distasteful because it felt like she was rushing me.... Mind you, we had received our pizzas less than 10min ago! AND the restaurant was pretty much empty... not even close to closing time.

We love this place! The truffle pizza is our usual favorite. We tried the new Hot Honey pizza and loved it! If you like spicy, this is your pizza! The perfect blend of savory, spicy, and a touch of sweet. This has become one of our favorite date night places in town.

We stopped by for dinner while passing through town on our way to Fort Lauderdale. This place was amazing and such a great way to kick off our vacation in Florida. Their bruschetta with burrata and the meatballs were out of this world. Their bread and pizza were amazing. I was brought the wrong pizza which was a simple mistake. The manager was so great and comped the pizza which she didn’t have to do because the other food and cocktails made up for it! I wish we had this place closer to us because we’d become regulars.
