Just moved to new condo and dishwasher crashed. ADU had provided a friend good service and product, so off I went to the Chantilly showroom. With the container shipping problems, Bosch dishwashers were on a 5-8 month delay. Luckily I had Alex helping me, and he pulled a rabbit out of a hat! There were 5 remaining dishwashers in Baltimore, and he secured one with a quick turnaround. Not only that, Alex followed everything up with me—excellent customer service!

Buyer Beware!Under the leadership of Heather the sales experience was terrible. I had a hard deadline that they promised before ordering. They failed that deadline and then tried to swap the unit I ordered out with another unit that was different. I cancelled the order.When asked to for manager information they refused. This company does care about customer service.

In late December 2019, a pipe broke in my kitchen which resulted in a complete kitchen renovation. Two friends suggested that I go to ADU in Gaithersburg to look at appliances. In January 2020, I went to take an initial look. Adrian DeCocqVanDelwijnen greeted me and gave me valuable information. I hadnt bought new appliances in many years. I selected GE Profile appliances and made some changes in my selections as I looked at each appliance more closely. Adrian was TERRIFIC whenever I called or had questions. Then the Pandemic struck...my renovation was put on hold. Again, Adrian was available, as were other members of the team, via phone and e-mail. On the day the contractors came for a final sign-off, it was discovered that the refrigerator I had selected might be too big - yikes! I immediately called Adrian, he was able to look up the options and tell me that I could get the same refrigerator, 33 inches wide rather than 36. Even though all four appliances had been purchased, it was no problem for him to change the order and email me the updated information and invoice. GE was having a promotion when one bought at least 3 GE Profile apliances. Adrian sent me the information and a highlighted invoice to make the application process easy. Throughout the entire experience, as I told Adrian, he made appliance shopping fun. Kitchen is complete now - June 4th. I am very pleased with my new appliances, the gas stove is gorgeous! :) Again, I want to thank Adrian for his help, advice and calm no problem approach. I totally recommend ADU in Gaithersburg.

My husband and I worked with Lisa to select our appliances for a new home. She was very knowledgable about all appliance brands including price, lead time, current reviews, etc. We had to restock and order new appliances due to size limitations. Lisa provided options that fit our budget and space very quickly. She was very responsive and understanding of our situation. She kept us updated on delivery times throughout the buying process. ADU is also able to provide wonderful recommendations for appliance installers. I would highly recommend purchasing your appliances from ADU in Gaithersburg.

We visited store in Gaithersburg, MD. Spoke with Heather store manager. Her attitude at our first initial conversation could be better but we didnt pay attention that time. We made purchase of display/floor models but than my wife called asking if she can change it. Response from Heather was shocked. Never in her life my wife heard such rood and hate answers from any sore personel. My wife felt if she was near that store manager Heather will start to hit her. We cancelled entire order becase of her. Company banned us from making purchases. We called HQ and lady we spoke to (dont know her title but she is one of the executives)seems like care only about her store manager, not listening what I was trying to say as consumer. We still cant shop at that company and humiliation level from them is up to the roof. I strongly recommend dont go to those stores. That executive lady told me there planty appliances sale companies around and I should go there. I encorage everyone to go there not to ADU

The showroom and selection are great, and so is the staff...when they are selling you your appliances.I bought every appliance for my kitchen at ADU Gaithersburg- when everything was installed, the Miele warming drawer did not work. Of course I called ADU to get a replacement- they said NO! They said it is under warranty so they can have it serviced. Of course I am not pleased with that answer- I bought something new, at retail price, and I am not getting what I bought. They said they can do nothing for me, so I should just deal directly with Miele. Not the answer you expect after purchasing everything from them.Very, very disappointed with the post-purchase service.

I have a kitchen design studio and I send all my clients to see Heather at ADU for appliances. She is knowledgable and fun to work with, and their new showroom, just north of the shady grove metro stop, is huge and beautifully laid out.
