Very cool store! An electronics paradise! I went to look for a PlayStation but unfortunately they werent restock in that store. In revenge i was stunned by the other articles they were selling, i saw high tech fridges, 8K tvs many accessories and video games sections. Blue shirt employees were very professional and helpful.
I was in the store yesterday, it was not my best day, but compliments to the supervisor named Raj who dealt with me and the apparent cloud that was following me. He was Professional in every respect, Knowledgeable about the products I purchased, and he actually contributed to my day getting better. Thanks Raj. (Blood type A Positive)
Great service a bit slow but every time I came to the store always greeted by friendly staff that I find helpful. Had to what a bit to get service but got it. The bathroom disabled door didnt have a lock on for the mens bathroom. Thats the only complaint I have.

Horrible customer service. I’ve never walked into a Best Buy in my life and not one single employee came and asked me if I needed help with anything. I was there to buy a TV. Which is a big purchase and I didn’t get enough help so I went to the one in Rockville. Will never come back here again.
I have been coming to this Best Buy for years because of the proximity to my office. They have great customer service and are always ready to help customers. They helped me locate an item in another location and set it up for me to pick up. TO EARN MY BUSINESS, YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Absolutely great! I had purchased a MacBook and received it broken. I was absolutely devastated, I went to the Best Buy where I had originally bought it from and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Which made no sense because I literally got it that same day, I opened it and it was already broken. I called Best Buy customer service no one was able to help me. Luckily the manager Anthony was able to help me at this location. He was sooo nice and attentive, I Absolutely appreciate him. Just want to say a huge thank you to Anthony for the awesome support.
This Best Buy is the best(no pun intended) Dont sleep on this location. Im a loyal Amazon prime customer. But sometimes I dont wait 2 days for shipping. So Ill put in an online order,and presto my order is ready in 2 hours for curb side pick up. Also Ive often found out that Best Buy has cheaper prices Amazon. I highly recommend this location.
Walked around the store for a good half hour looking for a audio accessory they said was available online. Asked 3 people for help which all said it wasnt their department.
Price matched a microwave from another store (where it was out of stock). Found one in their inventory in New York and had it delivered in two days. Am I satisfied? You bet!
I purchased an item at Best Buy, Germantown, Friday July 9. When I returned home I discovered my debit card was missing. I began to try to call the store and was informed by machine that this store wasnt receiving calls. I was referred to another number where machines wanted to know why I was calling. It presented a menu which did not include anything which would help me. So today I drove 100 miles round trip to check on my debit card. Wasnt there. Because this Best Buy store doesnt answer their phone I had to drive 100 miles. WHAT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! WHAT AN AWFUL ATTITUDE TOWARD PEOPLE WHO SHOP IN THEIR STORES!!!! I wont be shopping Best Buy again!!!

Came in looking for 2 different mice, found the shelf spot but none on the shelf. Looked around and couldnt find anyone to help, maybe see if there were any in the overstock. I walked over to the cell phone section, no one, I looked around the computer section, no one, I started just aimlessly walking around hoping maybe an employee was bent down and I was just missing them. But I didnt see anyone else but the red shifted customer that walked in with me. But I ended up finding the 2 mice in the wrong locations. But I found them nonetheless. I walked back to where the mice belonged and put the one I didnt want back in the right spot. There were only a couple customers in the store in the middle of a quiet weekday. When I went to cash out there were no less than 6 employees by the registers and by the security station between the doors. The cashier was great though.
The bestbuy in Rockville has some of the worst mobile phone assistance ever. I have been there for myself my wife and a friend and they have failed to assist at an even reasonable level. Example of last experience. You have a TMobile phone but u have to buy an unlocked phone for it to work... Btw we cant reserve if for you at the other store... Arrive at Gaithersburg store. Magically no issues with a TMobile phone... Couldnt find a reason other than incompetent employee as to why they couldnt reserve if for us at the other store... Fine. Get phone but case is only available in Rockville get it reserved in Rockville... Get handed a store return case thats missing parts and phone wont fit in it... Exchange for case that isnt for my phone... Get told I have to go to Wheaton or get my money back... Yeah... I would give this store a 3 if I didnt have other issues picking things up here but this puts it at a solid 2. Avoid if you need help from anyone. Including pickups. I had headphones canceled twice at this store because they couldnt find my reserved item.
Very poor experience. I had a Best Buy consultant who worked in the Magnolia department, purportedly the high end department, come to my home to look at: 1) upgrading the existing Ethernet system; 2) upgrading the WiFi coverage (I currently pay for FIOS gigabit data speeds but seldom get download speeds exceeding 40 mbps); and 3) to install video doorbells and outdoor security cameras. The original quote for the work was excessive and I question the expected value and reasons for the high charges. For example, $900 WiFi Access Points?! IP6 complaint Access Points when I have no devices using IP6 and any modem will have to be backwards compatible to IP5 even when IP6 is widely available. So I buy $300 WAPs instead, which never get delivered! When the Geek squad installers show up they have had no communication or coordination with the BB consultant who sold me the equipment. They know nothing about what or where to install the equipment so i have to do the BB consultants work for him and try to educate the installers. Turns out the video doorbells are not compatible with the existing power supplied to the original doorbells so could not be installed. A simple chech with a voltmeter would have established that fact, which I would have done but I dont have a voltmeter and apparently neither do the BB folks. The video camera for the backyard cant be installed without an electrician (the BB Geek squad guys are not capable of electrical work), and the Geek Squad installer asked me why I bought new Ethernet switch when the exisiting switch is working fine? Plus, come to find out, the problem with my data speeds is with the Verizon FIOS network infrastructure and would not be helped by new switches, WiFi Access Points, or a new Modem, which I was also told I needed and which i bought from BB. Lots of unnecessary up-charging going on and overselling the capabilities of the BB installers. To top it off, when I return all of the equipment to the BB store, I am told I cant cancel the still undelivered WiFi Access points and I must await their eventual delivery and make another trip to the BB store to get my money back!At least I learned a lesson. Dont let BB fool me in to thinking they can do anything other than sell TVs.
Spacious and well setup. Not a huge inventory on site it seems. Offer curbside pickup & delivery. Some staff hustling to sell you on the BB credit card & protection plans. The Geek Squad can bre very helpful.
I asked to see open box deep freezers of which they had three, but only one on the floor. Instead of bringing out the larger size so I could decide which one to buy, two associates repeatedly tried to upsell an upright freezer which is too big for my needs and more than I wanted to spend. Of which, I later learned, they had zero. They could have had a sale if they brought the item from the back, but they acted as if there was nothing they could do when I asked to see it. I had a much nicer experience at the Germantown store when I bought my open box dryer. Ill be going back there to buy my freezer.
Sharing Geek Squad experience here.... kids gaming pc was having power issues, so used extended warranty for G.Sq service. Appts easy to make online, but G.Sq here is way understaffed. Actual employees are great 5* but the team doesnt have enough actual bodies to satisfy all customers. example: you have to set an appointment for a PICK UP... there should be a separate/adjacent queue for that. all repairs for gaming pc either resolved onsite or well under the service window of 2-weeks.Vayshon is a saint for dealing with customers by himself - unbelievable patience and rapport. deserves a raise, bonus, whatever.... or make him manager/supervisor level to train more like him. this best buy doesnt need more sales associates, it needs more Geek Squad associates.and the best buy itself? selection is pretty good and getting better, and good amount of display models to touch (sani-wipes everywhere) but the real sales team isnt the people, its the reviewers on bb.com.G.Sq =5.0*BB =3.5* which is pretty good for a brick and mortar these days.
OK electronics store. Went in to check for wireless headphones and found very limited options here. Very surprising considering market trends and availability in other stores and with online retailers.In addition to the lack of options there seemed little interest from staff in helping us. The store was incredibly quiet, very few people in store. Yet lots of staff hanging around and chatting to each other.After this experience in Best Buy I am unlikely to go to any other of their stores.Granted they had a reasonable stock and selection of other items. The service level was poor though.
I have purchased several items at Best Buy. They are always very attentive and professional. They have great values with a lot on sale every week. Ive purchased an HP Printer and a 4.5 C.F. Frigidaire Mini Refrigerator recently. Great brand names, great store.
I went to the Gaithersburg Best Buy today located at 15750 shady grove road and it was one of the most awful experiences I have had as a Best Buy customer for 8 years. First of all I came in at 6pm and wasn’t seen till 7pm because they only had one person at the customer service register. I was trying to make an exchange on a laptop that I bought and was told that I had to reset it. I tried to reset it 3 times and could not and the person at the counter basically told me that’s not their problem and won’t take the return even though I bought the laptop about 7 days ago. I wasn’t going to complain but I saw this family with a pregnant lady at the customer service line wait for the whole two hours I was there and she was visibly distraught and dizzy from standing for two hours waiting for the Best Buy employee to finish what they were doing for her which was simply buying a fridge and getting it shipped. Another family bought a tv and were standing in line for an hour just so they can pick it up. What kind of company let’s their assistant manager Diyar notice the issue of lack of people at the register and not make any decisions to fix the problem. There were more then enough people working the floor that could come to the register and help. As I was looking for another tablet while my laptop reset I asked my wife to ask one of the people on the floor if they could bring the tablet I want while I waited. She showed them the picture on the phone and the guy said “it’s locked up in the storage” and walked off without even helping her get the tablet. He wasn’t even helping anyone. Most of the employees were sagging and not even correctly wearing their uniforms. No wonder the store is run like this that management or employees are just treating their customers poorly. I have never seen a Best Buy so bad with their customer service or management.

Returned a Dyson vacuum cleaner ($425) ordered for a NEW housekeeper... She looked at it and said No, No, No! Those break all the time get a Shark Rocket... They are the best ($219)....No problem, hadnt even opened the box! Easy drop off!

Today, I went to Best Buy to browse laptops. Upon entering the store, Leo directed me to the laptop area and assigned Vyshan for assistance. These guys provided top notch service and I ended up purchasing a laptop and Geek Squad service. They provided bar none customer service. In the future, this will be my “go to” Best Buy.
I walked into the store looking for a button type battery. I told the person at the front what I was looking for and was directed to exactly the area where the items were. I found what I needed and made my way to the register where I was greeted with a smile, similar to the person at the entrance, and I paid for my purchase and left. Exactly the type of experience I am looking for when I know exactly what I am looking for.

The team members seem friendly and helpful. However, one day after I took my laptop to Geek Squad my credit card information was stollen. In 15 years of having my credit card I have never experienced fraud. There is no proof that someone from Geek Squad stole the credit card information that was stored on my laptop. However, it’s a huge coincidence that it happened the day after I dropped off my laptop. I should have erased my sensitive information. I’ve tried calling the store a few times but every attempt I’ve made to get into contact with someone failed. The only reason I’m even writing this review is because after waiting for 30 minutes on hold the call was dropped on the other end.
Fraud Warning: I was told the $199 Total Tech Support program DID NOT auto renew, when in fact it does. The sales woman was VERY CLEAR about this. I did not sign anything authorizing any additional charges or a recurring charge. I have been on hold for almost 90 minutes trying to resolve but they are not responding.

I bought a laptop online. I received an email that my order was ready to pick up. On my way home I went to get it. The parking spaces are numbered. I called to let them know I was there and gave them my space number. A masked employee brought me my laptop. I showed my ID and was off for home. I took less then 10 minutes to get my stuff. 5 stars!

By far one of the most poorly ran stores I have seen in a while. Now some of the staff are great.....but I have consistently seen a few staff be unhelpful or flat out rude...especially if they arent part of the sales force.Also, I fully understand having to follow store protocol by limiting the number of people while having to explain the rules to customers daily. No fun.... but when I arrived there was maybe 2 or 3 in front of me and despite dozens of people leaving, it took 20+mins to get inside. Turns out this was another personality based shortfall but I believe the behavior is encouraged....sure isnt being correctedAll recurring issues with this store for 8 or 9 months now. So despite it being the closest and easiest to get to..... I am never going to this store again!!!
Sales men were incredibly rude and talked over me when I asked questions. They also conflicted eachother with statements, so leading to further confusion by staff. Shelves were unorganized and looked like items were thrown on shelves. Will not be shopping at a best buy again.

Very bad customer service experience on two levels. Ordered an item for pick up at at 10 am and never received an email that my item was ready. Then went to the store later that day at 6 after calling the store and being on the hold all day due to no one answering the phone. While in the store, I decided to cancel my current order after seeing a better version of the product I wanted in the store. I told customer service about it and they said that someone would bring out the requested item to me and to wait in the TV department. I waited for about 20 minutes and no store rep ever approached me. I then found another associate and asked again. They went to the back and then told me that they couldnt sell the item yet because a sales rep believed he was about to make a sale on the item. I replied that I was ready to buy the item right at that moment but was pretty much ignored. They said that I could buy the item, a 1400 dollar open box, tv if the person refused. The item was a display model. I then overheard the prospective buyer say that there was a scratch on the screen even though the item was deemed as satisfactory which meant no visible blemishes on the screen. I then heard the associate say to the prospectively buyer, dont worry about it, you wont notice it unless your looking directly at it or if your shining a light on the TV. I then heard the man have to negotiate for a discount instead of just being given a markdown. At that point I decided to leave the store and will never use this best buy again. Save yourself some trouble and get actual customer service and product knowledge by going to Microcenter.
I should not give you not even 1 star.. it should be -100 stars... you guys have messed my order 8 times in a row.. and it have been always because you guys don’t pay attention to the order at all and you don’t communicate at all between you and with the customer (me this time). HOW IN HEAVEN YOU CAN MESSED AN ORDER 8 TIMES (YOUR FAULT) AND STILL TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT NEEDS TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK OR 2 TO RESCHEDULE AND STILL NOT MAKE IT HAPPENED??????? I waited over 20min for someone to help me over my PCs. Even after I asked for someone to help me, I still waited. They either dont have enough staff, or dont care to help. Either way, youve been warned -- you may not get helped.

Horrible customer service and experience! I went in to get help on purchasing an item I was unsure about. I was placed in the cue and told an associate would come by and to wait where the product item was located. I waited for 15 minutes and no one came. Mind you, store employees were walking around right by me (usually in pairs) unloading boxes, stocking shelves, etc. I didnt say anything at first because I was waiting for the person who was supposed to come and help me. Well, when no one came, I started my quest of asking for help. After asking multiple people, only ONE gentleman was able to assist me a bit but said he was in another department and couldnt give me much info. I talked to him for a little and then needed someone else. Again, I waited, walked to find someone, and once again, NO ONE could help me. I finally decided to just purchase the item rather than wait (it has now been 45minutes). I waited at the checkout counter and no one came. Then, three employees walked right by, stood next to the checkout counter, and began sorting items and talking while I was just standing there. At no point during my experience did ANYONE ask if I needed help. I kept getting pushed off to someone else and each person didnt have time for me, didnt know the product, etc. It was horrible! I finally asked to speak to a manager who was also incredibly rude. I ended up breaking down and crying because throughout this ordeal I am dealing with a crying toddler. I WILL NEVER come to this store again and will 100% spend the extra 10 minutes to drive to the Rockville location.

Went in to buy a laptop today. Knew what I wanted. Easy sale. Stood in the laptop section of the store for fifteen minutes, browsing the selection. One salesperson. I watched him make his way to every male customer (5 of them) offering his help. He did not acknowledge I was there (female customer). Another female was browsing laptops on the far aisle of the section and she was not approached either. Completely shocked!

Best costumer service that I have received at any Best Buy. All their employees, but particularly Leo, kindly helped me resolve an issue where the over the phone Best Buy reps and the DC Best Buy could not. I was being tossed back and forth over a return but effortlessly Leo fixed the issue. I highly recommend shopping here in Gaithersburg. DO NOT GO TO THE DC BEST BUY, GO TO GAITHERSBURG for your needs. You will be taken care of. :)

I appreciated the resources and warranties they offer. I wish they offered a wider variety of gaming products and that their staff knew a little bit more about the products. They were able to answer basic gaming product questions, but had to look up other questions. I can research my questions, part of what I was looking for was an educated weigh in or opinion from staff. These 2 reasons are why I rate it 4 instead of 5 stars. Otherwise this place is safe, accesible, and looked to be following covid conscious practices.

This is an ok electronics store. Their prices are very expensive for some of the products, but they have a decent selection. Their pickup service is horrible though. We ordered a printer for pickup that said it was in stock. I even called the store to make sure they had it before ordering it online. I came to the store a few hours later when it was Ready for Pickup. After about 45 minuets of waiting in the store while the employees tried to find the printer I ordered, they determined that that they had sold it within the past hour to a different customer. At first I was told that I would need to wait about 2 weeks for the printer to arrive by mail, but I asked for a refund. A few days ago I went to the store to purchase photo paper. The price on the register was higher than the price on the shelf. The employee did not know how to adjust the price, and I did not have time to wait for a manager to come, so I just paid the higher price. I would recommend not going to this store, and instead to visit the Micro Center on Rockville Pike, or to visit a different electronics store.

Bought a new refrigerator. Delivery was free so it was delivered yesterday. The delivery person set it up and told me to wait a few hours for it to cool. The next morning, the refrigerator is hot and does not blow cold. The inside walls of the refrigerator are hot. So, I call the 1-800 number to talk to someone from Geeksquad. There is a 5 minute wait to initially talk to someone. Then, when they figure out that it is appliance related, they transfer me to the appliance department. The estimated wait is over 40 more minutes.When you buy a brand new appliance, you dont expect such problems. This situation has not been resolved and I will update this post when it does. Please think twice before buying appliances at Best Buy unless you like receiving non-working appliances and problems trying to get it resolved.

Bought a laptop for my daughter for Christmas. It didnt matter who was helping me in that department because they are all so knowledgeable. Helped me with everything! My daughter was so happy Christmas morning! I could have never done this without them! They were so good in fact Im going back after the New Year for a new desktop

Terrible experience at this best buy. I do not suggest shopping here.Item was no it ready for pickup even though I received notification that item was ready. When I arrived to pick up, I was told they were looking for a box of parts in the back. After 15 minutes of waiting, I drove away. Manager was no help at all. What a mess.Item was defective. They sold me a used, damaged dishwasher. It even had forks in the basket. Do not shop here. This best buy sells used damaged appliances and pretends they are in good working order.
The best farm in this area. Vegetables: tomatoes, red beets, sweet onions, spinach, broccoli, etc. fruits and berries are so tasty you can find no where else.And prices are fair.
The Customer service here is great. I was looking for a monitor and i couldnt find one I liked so I showed the employee the picture of a monitor I saw at costco and he said that was better for me. It is very rare to hear this.
I had a great experience picking up a TV I ordered for store pick up for Super Bowl Sunday. It went seamlessly. Mainly, because of Nina, who saw that I was waiting and jumped up from her tasks to accommodate me. She was friendly and helpful. I was able to walk in and walk out in less than 15 minutes.
MAN!!! All I can say is that Sho the main manager is awesome! Seriously. Its so great to be at a store that connects with the regulars like come in. I bought a galaxy s10+ last night. Basically, it was a pleasure experience for the whole time. As soon as I walked into the store and looked for a phone, 2 employees were ready to help. After sales rep, I got tossed to other person, Raquel, who helped to set up and complete the transaction. Even if there was a technical issue in the beginning, she was able to handle it and get things done professionally. I got the store like 30 minutes before the close, but she never rushed me. She even helped me to get a phone case and a charger cable(the old phone’s charger won’t work, which I didn’t know). She knew where those items were located exactly, so I didn’t have to wait or something. You might think she was trying to make me to buy something, No. Without her knowledge and being proactive, I probably had to spend extra time to shop and wait. She was running into a few things while she was assisting me and it seems that she was able to manage them professionally without let anyone feel abundant. It’s been a while to be at Best buy because of very very poor experience in the past. I found myself searching more items on Best Buy web after I came back home. The night shift team around Mobile area was excellent!

If I could have given no stars i would have....Place an order online for pickup at the Gaithersburg Md location. They decide to transfer part of my order to the Rockville Md location. I didnt find this out until I asked where was the rest of my order. I was told my the Manager Fazio that part of my order had been transferred and he didnt know why. I asked him why was my credit card charged twice. He didnt didnt care why me order had been transferred or that I had been charged twice. He left it up to me to figure out. And wanted to argue with me.It wasnt until I got to the Rockville Md location an spoke with Tyvin. That i found out what had happened. Why didnt someone help me at this location? Poor Customer service....
Clean & organized but the workers there look like kids fresh outta high school & have no experience in customer service.
