I was surprise they were selling the composition note book for $3.49 when it cost $0.99 at other stores. I did find a journal at a reasonable price $2.49. The young gentleman at the front of store is always nice. By accident I picked up the wrong journal (I left my glasses in the car). But he understood and I grabbed the right journal. I needed to write down notes for an class. I do give five stars for cvs being open 24 hours.

I work in a dental office and called this location to call in a prescription for a patient. This was the second pharmacy that I called to try and fill the prescription for a patient. The first pharmacy was a CVS located in Montgomery Village. When I called THAT pharmacy, I was left on hold for over an hour and then hung up on without having a chance to speak to anyone. THIS pharmacy is a little bit better. I called and was able to speak to a live person about 5-6 minutes into the call (so immediately VAST improvement from the other location). I told the store representative I was calling from a dental office and wanted to fill a prescription for a patient. I was given the option of holding to speak to the pharmacist or be routed to prescribers voicemail. I told the store staff member that I wanted to wait for the pharmacist. I was on hold for about 20 more minutes when the pharmacist answered. I was a little chagrin that when I said I was calling from a dental office she immediately routed me to the prescribers voicemail because I had specifically wanted to speak to a human being with filling the rx; however, in contrast with not being able to speak to anyone while being stuck on the phone for over an hour and getting the chance to talk to 2 people and complete my task within about 35 minutes, this is better. Its not great, but its borderline passable customer service.

We had a COVID vaccination today administered by Ms. Thakkar. Everything was completely professional. Premises were clean. Appointment time was observed to the minute. Ms Thakkar was excellent. It would be nice if the automated reminders from CVS mentioned to bring proof of a child’s date of birth. The staff was very accommodating. All in all, a textbook perfect experience.

Needed to transfer a prescription from this CVS to another pharmacy. The other pharmacy tried all day to reach someone at this CVS pharmacy in order to get the prescription transferred, but could not reach anyone. Finally I decided to call this CVS to get things moving. I had to wait 40 minutes on the phone to reach someone only to be told that the other pharmacy needs to keep trying to reach them. Otherwise, Ive been able to fill prescriptions with them successfully in the past.

Irresponsable pharmacy staff! Every month there’s an excuse as to why they didn’t order enough to cover a prescription. My original fill date was the 5th, the only person that orders controlled R/x’s has a monthly emergency to where they can’t order enough to fill the prescription. Conveniently after causing a lapse when my Doctor sends the script for the 5th, I get a too soon to fill text. Now it’s the 12th the new fill date thanks to their inability to keep inventory and there’s another delay here we are it is the 20th I am still out of my meds. They are doing the exact same thing with my roommate. This is ridiculous!

SOO BAD. Don’t go here if you can. Especially the pharmacy workers. My mom has cancer and they filled the wrong prescription for her. As for me, I’m trying to get my birth control and they keep delaying the time they get my prescription ready.

Wait in line 10 minutes to pick up a script sent 6 hours ago. Told to wait 15 minutes. At the 25 minute mark, wait in line for another 15 minutes to be told something is wrong with my insurance. Pharmacist was speaking very rudely to me when I asked him why I wasnt told that. Then proceeds to tell me to wait another 20 minutes and hell check if it is even in stock. Ridiculous. Replace him immediately please.

There is one sales associate who wears glasses. he is very nice and always helpful. This is not my first, second or third time to use this CVS and out of all associates, this man is a good example of good customer service. I cant remember his name but i think most people will agree to know he is very helpful- at the counter

Last month they insisted on charging me $378 for a new asthma inhaler prescription without contacting the prescribing doctor or me about the hefty price tag. Same prescription at ASPN pharmacy is $25 because they use manufacturer coupons for medications that have a ludicrous price tag (same with epipens!!!!!) - besides the inability to “shop around” for the well being of their customers, the customer service was ludicrous and beyond rude. I felt bullied into the charge as the pharmacist said “well it’s a life saving drug so take it or get out of line” don’t use this pharmacy.

Not helpful. Wont even try to be helpful. Always long waits, but I have to go here because insurance wont let me use other pharmacies. All three cash registers went down and the line went down the whole aisle. Apparently this is a constant issue here.

Very BAD customer service by the pharmacy technician. They come up with their own rules. The Asian technician talked very rudely to me and when I told the other technician about how she could’ve explained nicely, she said I don’t think it was bad. Instead of apologizing she wanted to escalate things . Do not go to this location, you will be treated badly and feel humiliated.

This location is really just the worst and has been for at least the last 7 years. I avoid this location like the plague. I was on hold for so long that my cell-phone died. They always take at LEAST three hours to fill your prescription. When I had my 4 wisdom teeth extracted, it took them 6 hours to fill my post op meds. 6 HOURS.

Never felt so disrespected to leave a review. Went to Minute Clinic. Wait time on screen was 18 minutes, ended up waiting 50+, then had physician come out and condescendingly tell me multiple times that I had at most been waiting for 30. I will be bringing my business to Walgreens.

Worst CVS experience Ive ever had. I would normally never write a review for this but I am upset. I was in there for maybe 5 minutes looking for something and the woman who was working basically was running away from me when I tried to get her attention to ask her. When I finally did, she was EXTREMELY rude and made me feel stupid for asking her anything. This just happened a minute ago and Im very tempted to go in and find out her name to tell whoever her boss is. I could not get out of there fast enough, the energy is terrible.

The saff here is my favorite. They all try hard especially the pharmacy personnel.. So many times theyre understaffed and they still do their best to accommodate each person Ive been going there for many years and I just wish that the CVS management would give them some help in that store. Its like that in several other stores in this area, Employees dont have to tell you anything you could see how hard they work to do each more than their share. Personally, I think they are top rate.

Excellent Customer Service! (This is not a review of the pharmacy, just the store in general.) I havent used the pharmacy, so I cant attest to that, but I received outstanding customer service from the cashiers, assistant manager, and beauty consultant Shaloe. Im so glad I went out of my way to try this CVS location since I was hesitant after reading the other reviews. The beauty department is well-stocked and had items that werent available at the Derwood location. I didnt have to ask for help because it was offered to me by every employee I saw. Shaloe went out of her way to help me choose the best beauty products for my skin type. She was also kind enough to give me some free high-end (Vichy) beauty samples and took time to explain to me how to use them. I was very impressed with her and the other employees. Jonathan was also particularly helpful and kind as were his co-worker and manager, but I didnt catch their names. I will definitely go back to this location.

I have been coming to this Pharmacy for over 6 years and today I am fed up. Every time I have prescriptions faxed to the pharmacy they never receive them and they are never ready for pick up. This is the last night I will get prescriptions from here as I have wasted hours of my life at this pharmacy. I give them two thumbs down and I recommend choosing a more efficient pharmacy for your RX needs.

I wish I could give it a negative star!!I’m a tourist visiting Washington DC, live in Hilton tonight and go to this CVS to buy some breakfast and snacks. Only when I went back to my hotel, did I find this sunflower seed is expired!! It tastes terrible.It’s the first time I get some expired stuffs since I came to US for two years. The worst experience ever, it ruins my day!

I’m confused how a pharmacy that is supposed to help people can cause so much harm and damage. CVS as a whole has dropped the ball with this location. I had an employee harass and cat call to me outside the store before I could even enter. I called customer service because this event got extremely creepy as I noticed he was taking pictures of me in the store (direct HIPAA violation.) Two calls later and I can’t even get a return phone call.

Princess Manley was very rude, needed just a ppd walked in one pt ahead of me, when that pt came out she informed me that the pt that she is now taking had an Appt at 5 but she canceled it and made it for 3, but the patient checked in after me.... Did an online appointment for the minute clinic for 1:24. I recieved a notice to be 5 minutes early otherwise I would lose my spot. I was on time. I ended up waiting another 40 minutes because the doctor felt as if she must put everything on hold to ask everyone elses common questions who did not make an appointment. Will they take my insurance? .. doctor responded: let me see ... took another 10 minutes..

I arrived at the pharmacy at 11:36pm after being horribly mistreated at the CVS in Montgomery Village. There was a nice pharmacist there that took my prescription told me it was a 15 minute wait. It was about 10 minutes later they called me and went home. I have always been happy with the service at this pharmacy. It isnt always as fast as it was today but I always get good service and my questions are answered and if the prescription isnt covered they handle getting it paid for through insurance. I will always return to this pharmacy!

Ive been coming to this singular place for around 5 years already. And the doctors, or nurses are terrible helpers. Its like they are always in bad mood, or simply dont wanna help the customers. This is the only thing that I dont like from this place. On the other hand, the cashiers on the front window they are totally different, always there to help.

Pharmacy tech Delores is incredibly incompetent. It ends up being an hour ordeal every time a refill is needed. Cvs claims to make things more convenient(isnt that what the c stands for?) But it is a drawn out hassle just to pick up a prescription. pharmacy tech Delores claims its up to the customer to make sure to call in and talk to a tech, after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, to fill every single refill in order to have the insurance prescription discount applied, even though the discount is already attached to the account. This is in addition to having to wait in line 30 minutes just to pick up a prescription. No other pharmacy does this! Then if you complain they tell you to go to another pharmacy. My family will definitely do just that. Now we understand why everyone hates Cvs pharmacy so much!

This one is pretty bad. They make you wait a LONG time even when they are not busy in the middle of the day. I have had to go there multiple days to get something filled. Cant get a straight answer. Avoid this one, there are better ones elsewhere.

Worst and Waste of time. Worst because no value for appointment time. I signed in and wait time was only 10 mins. but I was made to wait more than 30 mins. First thing nurse is slow in treating,and typing, Second she makes lot of errors so she deletes and types again. About diagnosis just forget it. She does not care if the patient is in pain or not she just follows theoretical/bookish knowledge, I went in for soar throat with lot of pain and she asked me to take Tylenol. My throat was damn red with dry cough and throat pain like hell. I was even having hard time in talking. She did a strep test which was a nightmare. She tried to be polite however when I said I do not remember if I took my flue shot she got upset because she had to delete and retype the information. I will never go this place again. Today I visited my PCP and it was clear that I needed more strong medication as my throat was very very bad. Dont waste your time and energy in this place.

This is the worst CVS Pharmacy. I went to pick up a prescription and after waiting 20-30 minutes in line they said to process my new insurance card they would have to take another 30 minutes. They apparently are not able to run it over the phone prior to making you wait in line just to tell you that. Then I hand my card to the lady at the register and I tell her,Can I trust you with this card? She said yes so I told her I would be back later to pick it up and to please process it. Things happened and I could not make it back that night so I called today to ask how much the medicine for my son would be and they had nothing on my new insurance nor my card. Talk about careless. Then the girl on the phone is straight up clueless and giving me this sucks for you attitude. Definitely never coming back here. Good thing my 2 year old isnt asthmatic and desperately needing his albuterol.

Worst experience at any store. There is no customer care. I ordered some prints and went there. The person at the photobooth told me to go to the cashier who sent me back to the photo person. I asked him to check the order number. He just refused. I asked what do I know, and he replied that he doesnt know.I wont even talk about the 20 minutes I waited on thd phone to be connected to the photo service.That is not a way to treat a customer.

I was trying to call and get through to the pharmacist to do some patient transfers, no one answered the phone for 25 minutes of elevator music. I called the next day and it was the same situation until someone picked up then put me on hold again. Very frustrating experience.

Horrible experienced at the minute clinic This lady took 45 mins to tell me come back for an appt. the next day just because she did not want to stay passed over shift time. She made several excuses to not give the forms that need it to be filled out in order to get a physical. Speaking with supervisor and store manager was useless. They did not help at all.Note: when I got there the clinic still had an hour and a half before they close.

As usual with a CVS anywhere in the country, these guys do nothing but waste your time. For this episode, I went here to buy a SmarTrip card. After waiting while they tried to get them, they failed to produce one (because management was unable to respond to anything), and asked me if I would come back later. No, never. Beats me why my experience at every CVS in the country seems to be like this.

Worst CVS ever, never had such a bad experience!The African lady working at the photo section is THE rudest and racist, never want to go back to this store ever again. Came here to pick up some photos ordered online with notification that my order was ready for pickup, when I arrived at the store, she told me she didnt have the prints.. and thats it! no apologies, no suggestions on what should be done to get the prints. With one or two expressions, the staff is extremely rude, disorganized, and lazy. The line to drop off a prescription has never taken less than 30 minutes and that seems unbelievably fast compared to the pick up line. Ive gotten the wrong medication, the wrong quantity, the wrong strength, and each time I had to fight with them to fix it. Yes this is one of the busier locations in the area and their problems might have a little something to do with that but its mostly from employee behavior. The majority of these people are lazy and ignorant.

Pharmacy experience is always rushed by the pharmacist, long wait time, and long lines... No matter the time of day. Prescriptions take at least 5 hours to be finished.The straw that broke the camels back was when my doctor called in a prescription for high-blood pressure meds. The pharmacist kept saying 20 mins, after 20 minutes had passed. After waiting 2 hours, they decide to tell me they have run out of the drug and I must come back another day. I had to make a fuss for them to give a couple of pills because this medication keeps my heart beating normally.

The most horrible CVS Ive ever run into. The employees as slow as hell and always answer back in a rude tone. Some cant even speak proper English. I called in to avoid face to face contact but ended up with a 10 min hold on my first try and another 5 min hold on my second try until I gave up and went there to face the horrible experience one last time.
