Mr. Jimineze welcomed us when we walked in and got us signed up quickly. He showed us exactly how to operate the golf cart. The golf carts are fairly slow, but I’m sure that is for safety measures, especially being in the Seawall traffic. It was very fun to drive around and explore the island. The prices aren’t bad at all and I recommend checking this place out!

This was a really nice business office... the young man who helped us I can’t remember his name, even though it was close to closing he still remained very professional and did not rush us!! Definitely coming back

Really dope way to view the city. Me and my family rented 2 hours and had a blast enjoying the breeze and viewing the city on the golf carts. Joe assisted us and was great. Would definitely rent again.

Great pricing check pictures why use a bicycle @ $30 an hr when you could rent a golf cart? We saw so much more in two hrs! Plus daily rentals are definitely worth it if staying a few days. Very friendly service and very polite help when giving tutorials to customers. Plus they have carseats for babies! Genius no extra cost, and they offer military discount definitely will get my business next time we visit.

Galveston Golf provide an amazing hangout with family and friends. The Seabreeze is good for sinus 🤧 problem and like apple cider may keep the doc away. Being at the seawall is more healthy early morning, and watching the rising sun is both spectacular and inspirational. Because its good to watch the easterly sunrise just as well as the westerly sunset 🌇 in the evening. It makes a great difference 👍 in the quality of your life. Its a major thing to do to awaken the senses. Exercise for the mind and body will keep us in alignment with our interests and calling 💪. Being in nature is a lot better than staying in our room, especially when one is experiencing confusion and frustration with his or her life.

Triston had the best coustomer service. He made sure I had a good cart and was taken care of. 🤘

This was the funnest thing I have done at Galveston the staff was very nice and easy to talk to, they were very clear and direct in their instructions not only that but the golf carts were in really good condition and super fun. I recommend coming to this place any time if near.

This place was worth walking all the way up from 82nd Street to rent from them. Easter Sunday was mad packed and we walked in with ease and had a ball driving around town to learn the city. Apparently closed on Mondays, walked a mile there and no one was there. At 1pm... Called ten times with no response, so... Went back the way we came and walked 2 miles to Beachin Rides and rented for 24 hours... It was okay, there was a Ben and Jerrys a block over from your place, got our 3 year old some ice cream and started our walk back.

Joe was super helpful and gave us a great cart and had great rates. Professional service, gave us good info on wait times. Had to wait for a cart but well worth it! The family had an awesome time, definitely plan on going back, would highly recommend for sure. The 4 seater was About half the price of another guy down the sea wall which has mostly 6 seaters and no customer service... Ours had the larger tires, drove great. Drove it all around the city about 3 hrs and had no issues.

Horrible customer service, they gave us the slowest golf cart they had and when we asked if they could charges us for the amount of time we had it, we were told no. I explained to Taylor that my kids was scared they would get hit and waa uncomfortable. Her response was we dont give refunds for that. Dont spend your money with them because they have no compassion. I was charged a 24hour rate and only had it a few hours. I wasnt asking for a refund, I was asking them to just charge me for the time I had it and apparently that was a problem for them.

Made the vacation so much more enjoyable and tangible. The cart was clean drove good and was so much easier to park and unload than being in a big vehicle. The staff was super friendly and made sure we had a great running cart! Will definitely be getting one everytime we come down.

Everybody was super friendly and made everything throughout the process easy. I was able to book a reservation in advance at their main location and pick up the golf cart right down the street from the hotel we were staying at. I broke a key off in a lock and they had someone over there to replace it within 20 minutes. I’m in a wheelchair and my stay at the beach would’ve been miserable without this thing. So much better than getting sand all in your vehicle!

I would say they are some of the most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. We rented a golf cart on a Friday but due to a storm it was postponed. I understand that is neither parties fault. WHAT IS THEIR FAULT, is lack of customer service after we find out this golf cart doesnt work properly, being stranded in the middle of an intersection and not being able to use the cart at all! We have called them multiple times in the past week and get the same story. I will put it on the owners desk or I will let the manager know No one will help and as always, we are lied to that someone will reach out. Supplying broken golf carts to people especially with children is very cowardly. We are very disappointed. Please save your money and go somewhere else. They dont want to make anything right. I tried multiple times for them to make it right but we just get lied to.I have not received one phone call from any of your stores. And I really hope you dont let another family use that cart before some maintenance is done.

Just tried to rent a golf cart for the family to enjoy a nice ride this evening. Although we only needed it for 1 hour the guy said I had to pay the 24 hour rate because he had to many carts coming in. Makes no sense and seems like a rip off. Will not be giving this business my money in the future.

STAY AWAY!!! We rented a golf cart August 12, 2020 and right from the start the cart gave us problems... leaving us stranded at a red light, With a 6 year old on the back Because the gas pedal would not react what so ever. After getting it to finally move we drive it straight to the other store on the strand to return it and get another cart. The owner gave us another cart and was the same issue! He then gave us a 3rd cart that also was not up to par. He told us that the regulators were going bad and they needed maintenance. I then told him if he couldn’t provide us with a cart that was safe for me and my family to drive that i would like to have my money back, he then insisted that there would for sure not be any refund, and that we could just deal with the cart that he brought around because he isn’t switching it again! Even my mother begged for him to just get a cart that was safe enough to have a child we didn’t want to be rear ended and his words were “i have not had anyone hit yet, you will be fine” Horrible customer service! I recorded All mechanical failures and all of our interactions and am forwarding to all Necessary Parties.

This place is awful they fired my handicapped son after he had been working 1hour. To make things worse he disclosed he was handicapped in the interview

We just rented a 4 seater cart a few days ago. We werent sure how long we would like to have it for or how well our young kids would do on it. Our oldest 2 were great but our youngest (1 year old) did not like it. We had told the guy that we would do the 24 hour rental originally but after taking it out for 3 hours we determined that the 1 year old wasnt going to warm up to the ride so we went to return it. I specifically asked the guy that if we were returning it after only 3 hours (vs 24) that we would have the rental price switched for only time used (3 hours of hourly rate) and he said yes. We got our kids back in our truck and looked for the owner guy who we had dealt with. We saw him starting to drive off out of the parking lot so I went to his car window to him to ask about a receipt to reflect the time returned and change in price and he said I already ADJUSTED it and filed it away, youre good to go..Well, today I saw on my bank account that we were charged for 24 hours. I called and the owner now says he wont change it and acted like that is not what we were told. DONT RENT HERE. GO somewhere else.P.s. I dont need your (owner) snarky remark or reply below. You had a chance to be fair. I wasnt asking for a refund (refunds are a return of payment for something used). I was asking to be charged for what we used which was 3 hours. I was asking you to do what you said you were going to do which is charge us for time used. I also run a business and have always been fair with my customers and I can tell you its not that hard.

The short guy in the front is so rude. We were waiting in line and another customer came in behind me and someone else. that worker took him first even though he was standing behind me and another family that was waiting in line. So unprofessional. I could understand if that guy already paid for a cart but he DIDN’T.Since we cannot respond to your comment... I did speak up but unfortunately it didn’t help the situation. I was still ignored. Bad service bad review.

Rented a cart for 24 hours and it was the best fun we had all weekend! What a fun way to see the sights! It was super hot but the carts gave us enough of a breeze to be enjoyable. We picked up a map of the tree sculptures and found almost all of them, spent time riding around looking at the historic old houses, cruised the Seawall, went shopping, got dinner and ice cream! The price was very reasonable and we enjoyed being able to visit and be together in a leisurely ride versus separate bike rentals or having to pedal a surrey. 😁 We had a gas powered cart and it had plenty of power. They do have limits on how far you can take them and a few roads you can’t travel on (like Broadway) but it didn’t interfere with our plans. We will definitely rent again and again!

Actually they deserve no stars. The golf carts are horrible. We had to change three times. Spent most of our changing carts. Then we get one that the steering wheel is shaking about to fall off and he the owner says there is nothing wrong with it.

We had always wanted to rent a cart and I’m so glad we finally did. It gave us the chance to see the area with ease. The price and young man that helped us was more than affordable and we will recommend the Galveston Golf Carts to all our friends that visit the area. Renters be cautious. We agreed on a set price of $290 for a weekend rental but never received a copy of the agreement. I was looking to obtain a copy when it was returned but no one was available so I had to just drop the key. I checked my credit card statement this morning and they charged me about $25 more than our agreed price and I have still yet to receive a copy of the agreement and/or an actual receipt. The amount is currently being disputed.

Cart was ok. What sucked was my wife and I were in Galveston for our anniversary. The 4th of July.We talked to one of the partners on the 3rd that own the place about reserving a cart. No way he sez because the 4th is to busy. He told me they open around 9am but he was planning to be there at 8am on the 4th.We were there at 7:30. He never showed up but another person did at 10:00. 2 hours of our day wasted. Filled out the paperwork and then was told the price for 24 hours was $150. The store sign and brochures say $125. After referring to both I was told its more because its the 4th.We spent over $1500 the week we were there on food and such. Entertainment. So $25 was no big deal except for the fact we felt like we were robbed.Would have been better if theyd have mentioned it the day before or had something in the brochures about holiday rates...... Enjoyed the cart and time spent in Galveston except for this.
