My family got our furniture here recently. Its nice and I love the selection they have. The workers are very dedicated. I went in looking for something and was helped immediately. Im only sad they ran out of this chase we really liked. Both of them that were in store were sold. One 20 minutes before we got there. Sad. That thing was beyond comfy. I got my headboard here too. I adore that thing. It has storage built into it so it helps keep my bed clear. And Ive never had a headboard since my couch bed when I was young. After that I just never used one. So the fact I do use it says a lot. Im always checking to see if they get a newer version of it or anything similiar.

Do not deliver to this place. Ive been here for 2 hours waiting to get unloaded and I was just informed that they will unload me in an hour after they go to lunch. After I sat there for 3 1/2 hours they came out and told me they werent going to unload me because I didnt have an appointment and I was told it was first come first served; and they also werent going to unload me because I left a bad Google review. So I made an appointment for the next day and was finally unloaded 25 hours after my first arrival. Do not deliver here, they dont care about truckers time or schedules.

They damaged my wooden stairs upon delivery of a washer. Their Delivery Men simply let the washer fall down each stair. Each stair was chipped and cracked. I complained and even showed them pictures....nothing was done. Our dryer was on back order for nearly a year. Kept being told it would come in next month...for about six of those months. They even attempted to delivery the wrong model.I requested a partial refund of the delivery fee for the dryer because it was charged upfront. None was refunded.. Manager, Fred insisted They messed up. As in the employees who work for him. He did not take ownership of company errors. Either way, best wishes to them during these difficult times.

Their service is TERRIBLE. Teresa was the best. Be careful with their deliveries. They can damage your home. Or, they will carelessly hookup your purchased items. They need to be more careful.

We werent ever greeted the entire visit, from walking in to leaving. I went with the full intention of replacing my refrigerator that gave out, yet after walking the entire appliance area 3 times I finally went up to the counter to be ignored for another 7 minutes. All the while, it seems the staff was entertaining company we couldnt tell the sales people from the customers as there was so much visiting, maybe you have to know someone there or be in their private club to make any purchase or inquiry at all.

Possibly the worst purchasing experience I’ve had! We purchased a washer/dryer set in November. What I REALLY needed was a dryer. We were told the appliances had to be ordered but they should arrive and be delivered/installed within a week or two. It took so long I finally had to borrow a dryer. When they called for the delivery, we were informed that only the washer had arrived, so they delivered it—without the pedestal we ordered. The washer sat in our garage for about two weeks—then they brought the pedestal. When the dryer finally arrived—it also had no pedestal! About 5 weeks ago, we were told that the pedestal had arrived and it would be delivered and installed. Two weeks ago, my husband called and was told that the pedestal was no longer there. It has now been 3 months and no pedestal.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my parents, Melvin and Denise. They called me yesterday absolutely thrilled about the experience they had here with Don, the store owner. They got the furniture they’ve been dreaming of having, all questions were answered, and they had excellent customer service with Don. My dad is a die hard Chiefs fan and was given an autographed football. He is SO excited about the football. Thank you, Don, for making my parents so happy with their purchase and the football! I wrote this review because I love seeing them so happy, and I wanted you to know how great of an experience they had!

Bought a bedroom set from the head guy Eric. Of course it was the last one. The headboard had a light that didnt work and told him the lights were the selling point. Guaranteed me it would be fixed. Left several voicemails with no response. Im going in with my receipt and telling him fix it or come pick it up. Horrible management. Cant call back or keep your promises. Cant hide behind a phone when I come in and find you. Then youll have to at least lie to my face. Shop elsewhere people!!!!!!

We have been lied to a couple of times. A few years we ordered a bedroom set and we were told it would take 2 weeks. It took 2 months. 😑This last Black Friday we bought a fridge and we were told it would come the following week. Quote “no later than Friday”That Friday we called and they said the fridges have been backed up for a while now. They said in another week. We called every week for 3 months, and we were always told the same thing. We just received it. They also promised us free delivery and install for being so late. We got no free install. We called when they dropped it off and the manager said no to the free install.I understand things can take a long time but they just continued to lie to us.So disappointed.

Absolutely terrible service!Bought an expensive sectional with an extended 5 year warranty. The recliner mechanism got bent and I have been waiting for a year and two months and it still isnt fixed! Nobody ever knew what was going on (I always needed to talk to someone that wasnt there) and they never once called back with an update, even though they promised to call be back at least 15-20 times. On top of that they say I dont have 5 year warranty even after I brought the receipt back 3 times to get it added on.DONT BUY ANYTHING HERE ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!!

My wife and I recently purchased a stove and microwave from Appliance and Furniture Mart. Sales personnel were very polite and professional. They took their time with us and explained various options. We got a great price, the items were ordered and was received on date they promised. The delivery/installation personnel (Will and Andre) were outstanding. They arrived as promised, removed the old items and installed the new stove and microwave without any problems. Before they left, they asked if we were happy with the appliances and made sure we new how to operate them. I would highly recommend purchases from Appliance and Furniture Mart to anyone.Great customer service. Thank you......

Been trying to get a top replaced on my stove for almost a year they say that they will call you back no one calls back do not recommend buying things you have to have repaired from them that’s why I give them the stars I give them I have two more weeks to be out of warranty

Well considering the last 2 reviews Im glad I only got this far. But I drove 1hr to shop for my son a bed or at least to see if they had something.. My mother who is handicapped came along. This place was the only place that had what I wanted in stock. So the sales lady gave us the price and it sounded reasonable but we went an talked about it at lunch then went back.. I had decided it was a good purchase and I love it and my son will love it.. So after getting home cleaning out his room and get things set up I get the phone call that they made a mistake the bed is actually 2x more then what I already paid for and that we have to pay more or get my money back. I will not pay extra for something I already bought.. Also they had an hour or two to notice this mistake while I was out for lunch thinking it over.. Im a Store manager myself and if we made a mistake we sucked it up and eat it.. It was my fault and Ill take the butt biting before I make a bad name of my company. Unfortunately Im going to get my money back an never return.. I should of read the reviews.

Lesson Learned: DO NOT THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY HERE.My parents bought a brand new high end sofa that plugs into the wall which powers the recliners and USB sockets for charging phones. Atleast, thats what they were told. Unfortunately, what they really received was a sofa with multiple tears with a faulty electrical system that doesnt work when used. So, naturally, the first step is to contact the store and ask why this was sent and not the sofa we spent a hefty amount of cash on. The answer Oh, the manufacturer deals with warranty repairs. Okay, cool, but why did you send us a visibly broken couch? The response, You own a business, you should know sometimes you have to sell things that dont work.Absolutely disgusting.

Bought a GE washer and dryer set from here and love them! The dryer came a little scratched from the shipping to the store. Also bought a table set and one of the chairs legs was broken. It was a display set but nonetheless in good shape. I notified the store and was compinsated with an extended mechanical warranty which you normally have to pay for on the dryer and they repaired the chair and looks good as new. They are very helpful and knowledgeable with there products. I plan on buying a bed and bedroom set that we picked out soon. Appliance furniture mart is the best in Garden City in my opinion and definitely recommend checking them out.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND IMMORAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. I’m posting on behalf on my parents. They bought a NEW GE washer and dryer from the store and a few months after installation the washer broke down. She called the store about the warranty and they told her to call the supplier. After much difficulty she was able, with the help of the supplier, to find someone to work on the machine. Upon finishing his work on the machine he asked who the last person to work the machine was. My mom told him the machine was brand new and had never been worked on. He then told her that the machine would have had to been worked on because the wrong bolts were holding the engine in place and that was what was causing the problem. A salesman at the store sold them a tampered with machine for a new price and refused to take responsibility for it. I do not recommend doing business with them.

They have reasonable prices. We bought a sectional, table, and TV. The ONLY thing they suck at is calling a customer back when it comes to their warranty. The warranty don’t cover NOTHING. I’ve call them multiple times and they refuse to call me back. I won’t be coming back.

Great service. Horrible delivery time. Both purchases ive made the sales teams knocks it out of the park. The problems are with the delivery team. Both times they promised to deliver our furniture in a certain time frame and both times they have drop the ball. They never call to schedule the delivery, Im the one who called them both times to remind them about our furniture a week later after the promised delivery time. After speaking with a supervisor (Jeff) he tells me, sometimes deliveries sneak in to their store with out anyone keeping track. Well, that tells me your inventory is always off and some one is not doing their job. Hope the store president can fix this issues. It kind of ruins the experience

I would not recommend this store to anyone! It took almost two months to get my $2900 sofas, that when they were delivered were damaged and it they said they would fix them or replace them for new ones when they delivered them. It has been over a month since delivery and they still have not fixed them. I have called and left messages and no one not even management will give me a call. I am thinking about contracting an attorney..Dont buy anything here...or if you do and its damaged do not accept the furniture.

Service department is main reason to buy from this place on appliances and they came and looked at my washer in October it is now February and they cant get the part they said I needed in the last month I got the part they told me they were waiting on and it didnt fix the machine! I have left messages several times for the service department guys and they never call back at this point I wish I would have bought the washer else where maybe a little cheaper. Very discussed with the service but, probably has to do with a change in staff!

We purchased a table and four chairs in October 2013. Three of the chairs were damaged, I contacted our saleswoman Heidi and told her of the problem. She sent a tech out and he said there was no way to repair them and he would have Heidi order 3 to replace them. So the wait began.....I called her every 3 months and in August of 2014 we purchased a power lift chair. I talked to Heidi in person and she assured me the chairs were on back order (still) and they would be in about 3 weeks. Well....I hounded them for a month after the 3 week delay. Finally a week ago I told them this is ENOUGH and Denny handled it from there. We received the 3 chairs....two were completely the wrong style!! I called and told Denny WE WERE DONE!!! Never the less we sit here, writing this review on the wrong chairs!!! We are making a two hour trip today to get our damaged, old chairs back. We spoke to Heidi about this GIANT MESS UP and she has assumed NO responsibility what so ever. So customer be very aware of your business.

I purchased a brand new GE Washer and Dryer from Appliance & Furniture Mart. The washer was fine, but the dryer is already broken as it makes a really loud scraping noise every time it is on. I called Appliance & Furniture Mart to have them fix it and they set me up with a guy from GE who sent a warranty repair guy to fix it. After he left and said it was fixed it started making the noise again. I have been calling both Appliance & Furniture Mart and GE several times to have it fixed AGAIN, but neither are any help. I have had this washer and dryer for about two weeks, however, I have spent more time at a laundry mat because of it. Appliance & Furniture Mart & GE have awful products and customer service skills.

We were there for one of the big sales recently and received great help from an out of town appliance brand representative we then went to the counter and waited for about 20 minutes to receive help while there I noticed a few other people who still hadn’t received help with the order papers in their hand and asked them if they had been waiting for awhile which they stated they had been. There were many sales reps walking through the office area. They may have mistaken us for other customers waiting for a giveaway which I understand, but never asked if we needed help or assistance I finally grabbed ahold of a rep and he was very nice and helped everyone around the counter who was there. Our item was special order and haven’t received a call for about a week we called and said they we had given the wrong phone number by one digit in the system but was clearly the correct one on our receipt which is no big deal and I understand little things happen. The lady who was helping then stated we never called back and said they couldn’t reach us (because they had the wrong phone) number and said “I guess we can hold it for you” even though they could’ve easily contacted us via email as well. Overall not a great nor terrible experience. Decent sale prices compared to big box stores.

How does this place stay open after reading what is already posted!! I myself never shopped there. But the women who raised me has and after talking to her I am not happy. She ordered from here back in June received it Way to long Id think late September problems with it. Called for appliance service on it from this store. 2 weeks go by no return call to set up appointment for this. Called again and again. Asked to talk to manager. Manager out of town left voice mail on his machine. Finally she talked tohim after a month. He was going to look to see wwhats going on. Next day she had to call back he wasnt there. But she spoke to service man. He told her she needed a part for it and its ordered. Another week goes by nothing. She called again. Talked to manager. Acted like he never heard from her. But did talk to a service man that day and called her back. Said he has part just need to call and set up appointment to repair it. Again few days go by. She called again. He will be right there that morning. He arrived comes into her home and she noticed he smelled like he been drinking already.. so she gets scared a bit (as well) And tries talking to him. Tells him she has been so stressed about this experience and he has the nerve to look at her With anger in his eyes.! And tells her lady you dont know what stress is! This guy thinks it is OK to talk to her like that in her house? Then still not fixed she tells me. I try calling last week. Manager out of town sales lady no longer works there. So I called the manufacturer of this. There sending someone out to look at it. Management and service. Your in the wrong businesses. Only retail store in America that avoids phones

Way Way WAY OVER PRICES AND ITS JUNK.WROST COMPANY EVERmy husband and i bought a very very nice expensive front load washer and drying here and after three months of having the drying the it was broken making awful noise so we called we have a warranty on them and they said they would come fix it that Friday that fir day they never showed so i called and he said he didnt have parts for it i was super upset i had to take off work and they didnt even show up or be kind enough to call and tell us. so i waiting for the following Friday for them to come and guess what they didnt show up again.... i was furious i have two kids plus my husband and i laundry was piling up and they didnt have the decency to call AGAIN. when i did call he said he didnt get the parts to fix it yet again and would be at my house to fix it the following Friday. so they finally showed up to fix it took it apart and GUESS WHAT THEY DIDNT HAVE THE PARTS by this time i had waited 3 WEEKS because they ordered parts to find out they never ordered parts and was out from my dryer for another 2 weeks to wait on the part to come in.3 months later and now our washer is acting up and wouldnt start, so i called and told them about it and told them what it was doing and he said he would be here friday to work on it. i took off work AGAIN and they never showed surprise surprise ( they had to order parts before they even knew what was wrong) ( lies lies lies) when my husband called he was really upset and told them they need to at least tell us if theyre coming and the mechanic got on the phone and had my husband take the back off the washer and try to fix it THATS WHY WE PAID FOR THE WARRANTY FOR THEM TO REPLACE IT IF WE HAVE ISSUES!!! long story short they ended up coming and said they dont know whats wrong and they need to head back to the store and couldnt fix it.. well my husband said you can load it up and take it to garden with you and he said that their vehicle was already full and didnt have room. so my husband had to haul our washer 2 hours away because there customer service is absolutely terrible... they said they will fix it and bring it back when finished. we shall see we paid a butt load of money for them we shouldnt have to wait i feel like they should just replace them.... we defiantly paid a lot we at least deserve good service.
