Terrible, do not buy from here. My parents purchased a GE refrigerator from Hampton Appliance 11 months ago, and now it doesn’t work. While the refrigerator is still under warranty neither Hampton Appliance nor GE can not or will not help them. Hampton appliance gave my 83 and 84 year old parents a phone number to GE to call for service, which no one picks up (I have tried many times myself) Since they haven’t been able to get through to GE and when they report back to Hampton telling them the issue, Hampton tells them they will call my parents back later and they never do. Hampton only cares about sales and not service, if anything goes wrong they will not help. My dad is an 83 year old Vietnam.vet and is not well and hasn’t had a refrigerator for over 2 weeks. My parents are left high and dry and Hampton could care less.

Our last kitchen adventure involved replacement of a built in microwave. Vince, our salesman was great as always. Extremely knowledgeable about the products he sells, he gave us great advice and the new microwave was a perfect fit for the space, not mention, an excellent machine. If you want to work with knowledgeable and reliable people, go to Hampton Appliance. I personally recommend them. We have been going there for years for all our appliance needs.

Terrible terrible terrible service from the service department Laura who has been there LONG ENOUGH TO CARE🤮No one deserves to be treated like this after you spend $10000+ for appliances. I am take my next business of ordering 2 Sub-Zero fridges to other dealer. However the Sales team especially Vincent has been very helpful. Hampton Major is a family owned business for many years, but maybe they are too busy and too successful to care for their existing/repeating customers, what a shame. 🤑🤮

I wanted to use a small business to purchase my appliances. I saw that Hampton had great reviews, so I went on their website and sent a message (because of the pandemic I didnt want to go into the store). I immediately received a response from Vincent. He told me that I should wait to purchase appliances because many brands werent shipping at the time and many models were being discontinued. He didnt push any other brand, just told me to wait. And I really appreciated that. When my dryer ruined my daughters shirt, I had to buy a new washer/dryer ASAP. I met Vincent in the store and we discussed my options. He wanted to double check the measurements of the closet they were to go in, and sent his installer. Once he got the OK, I ordered and they were just installed. Again I asked about kitchen appliances and again Vincent told me to wait. Every step in the process was easy and I felt comfortable working with Vincent.

The service from the owners to the sales reps is top notch. They definitely have a vast knowledge of the appliances and they help guide you in your decision making. I had purchased a washer dryer a couple years back and even though the washer ended up being a faulty one, the staff did not hesitate to fix and then replace it. Bc of their caring service I recently went back there again to purchase a full kitchen set. With so many pieces to buy, Vincent helped us each step of the way. He was extremely thorough and was able to guide us by giving the pros and cons. They care about what they do here which makes appliance shopping a lot less daunting. Definitely recommend going here than any big corporate ones.

I bought a top load washer and a refrigerator at Hampton appliances and television last week. It was a very good experience, Bob was the experienced customer representative who helped me from the beginning of the transaction to the end....He was very honest; he showed me the pros and the cons of each of the two major appliances that I wanted to buy. I was informed quite well. With the information I received will be able to make very good decision in choosing my speed Queen top load washer and GE profile 4 doors refrigerators. Those two choices were easy to make only and only after Bob gave me comprehensive information about multiple washers and refrigerators in the showroom that is in my range priceI will absolutely recommend Hampton Appliances to my friends and family members. Hampton Appliances is an outstanding place to shop..Thank you Bob for your help and your courteous service

The salesman was always in a rush. Promised to send us a receipt via e-mail twice and never did. Made a huge mistake on our original invoice which he thankfully was able to correct. The appliance itself, a side by side whirlpool refrigerator is working ok so far. Took a while to get it delivered because of delays in manufacturing due to the virus. Wouldnt go back to this dealer because of our negative experiences with the salesman.

My 20 year old Weber gas grill finally died and with spring coming it was time to replace. Looked around on line and with Weber direct and was pleasantly surprised to see Hampton offering the same price with free delivery and set up. I always prefer to shop local when I can so I went for it.Ordered on the phone with Bob and it was delivered in 3 days. The delivery person was friendly and efficient and the grill was ready to go within 30 min. So far the grill is working as good as hoped.

I really cant say enough about this business. They have fantastic service with sales people that really know their stuff. They didnt try to upsell me on any of the appliances I was looking to buy in fact tried to save me money by suggesting similar, comparable products. Everything came to the house on time without any damage (at least so far I havent seen any damage). Their prices were spot on with other local appliances companies; however, I like this company better because of the knowledge shown by the employees. I found the sales people to be honest and forthright. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for home appliances.

Upon beginning a major renovation, Hampton Appliance was recommended to us by our contractor and architect. We would not have been happier with the experience. Frank was absolutely wonderful to work with and paired me with the best appliances for both my needs and my budget. I ended up with SubZero, Bosch, Miele and Friedrich appliances. He even came over to assess the space for the most efficient window air conditioners. I would highly recommend working with Hampton Appliance and while I hope my appliances last a very long time, I would definitely work with them again for future needs!

We were so nervous about buying our appliances - we are doing a major renovation overhaul and needed everything from a microwave to a range to a wine fridge. There are so many choices out there and despite all the research, you want to be able to talk to someone that has some good advice. Well, we found it in Vincent. From the moment we walked into the store, he was honest, walked us around to every major brand, and gave us the facts we needed to know. I never once felt pressured to buy something or cornered into buying a particular brand. Vincent was patient with us even after it took us some time to finally purchase the end appliances (this renovation I mentioned, we are doing it entirely ourselves!). Once I went back to the store to make our final selection, it was quick and easy and delivery was an absolute dream. Weve had some horrible deliveries but these guys came super early and got 7 appliances in the door and set up on dollys for us in a little over an hour. Highly impressed with the service and professionalism here across the board. These folks deserve your business. Not only are they kind and knowledgeable but they put you first every singly time. I recently purchased a new washer at Hampton. Not only was the salesman polite, courteous and professional, but the delivery was on time as scheduled and the deliverymen were fantastic. The two of them expertly maneuvered my new machine into my basement and removed the old one within minutes, never once hitting a door, wall, railing, etc. I was extremely pleased and would definitely recommend shopping at Hampton!

We had a problem with the freezer that we purchased and they replaced it immediately, no questions asked. I particularly enjoy dealing with Bob Tamer. I have used Hampton Appliances for all my major purchases for the last 10 years. I am very satisfied with the service and no pressure attitude by the staff, specifically Vincent Comito. They take the time to answer all my questions and maintain an interest in customer satisfaction even after the purchase is completed. Their prices are always competitive with all independent and big box retailers.They always act in a professional manner throughout the sales process. Even the trucking company they contract with did a fine job with the installation and removal of the old units. Ill continue to use Hampton appliance for my appliance needs. They are not a big advertiser but you should check them out.

Do you always remember the words of your father as you become an adult? Well, I am so grateful that my fathers words resonated in my head as my husband and I were setting out on a kitchen remolding. I still remember that whenever my parents needed to purchase new appliances, my father always went to Hampton Appliances. This was back in the 1950s through the 1970s. My dad was always so pleased with the service and the products; and so that is why, as an adult, I heeded my fathers words and headed to Hampton Appliances. My father left me with such good advice.We were so fortunate to have Vincent Comito greet us at the door when we arrived at Hampton. Vincent is a true professional, a great listener, extremely knowledgable and a true asset to the company. He was so patient in explaining all the various appliances that would best fit our needs. Vincent emailed us the proposals, answered emails and phone calls and was terrific in every aspect of our shopping experience. We put down a deposit and are now awaiting the next step in our delivery.Hampton Appliances, and especially Vincent, have lived up to what my father had always told me and they continue to represent true customer service.

Easy to see right off of Stewart Avenue servicing Garden City and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Close to the Meadowbrook State Parkway. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Purchased expensive Lynx smoker from Vinny salesman at Hampton Appliance. Paid to have Smoker installed, electrified and connected to Gas but power never came on. Chased Lynx around through typical 1-800 runaround and asked Hampton Appliance to help since I bought the unit from them. Absolutely no help. Lynx authorized salesperson finally came and said unit was completely faulty. Again, called Hampton Appliance and Vinny disavowed any responsibility incredibly stating, that I paid for the unit and they shipped a unit but have no responsibilty that it is completely faulty and doesnt work. Will not HELP in any way in dealing with Lynx. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS.

Gentleman who helped us was patient and courteous and matched the price of a big chain competitor without a hassle of the specific model we wanted. Delivered and installed w/o a hitch. When I worked here they DID not want to know that the father and son were father and son! Bad sign! If you are soooooo proud of your biz u be honest with your customers! Why did I leave because they told me I could NOT have two days off together Bob Tamar did (Bob was the best guy there) The goofy son of the owner Chris had two days off! I could have worked Sunday 12-5 Mon-Wed 9-6 and then the Thurs 9-7 and that meant I would have hit all the required shifts and would have been able to have Fri and Sat meaning I could do the work needed around the house the yard etc to fix up my house and they would have had the same amount of coverage!- Chris promised to meet with me on what turned out to be my last day I quit because he did NOT meet with me. Then it took me 6 months to get my money had to go to the NY State Labor dept! NOW I AM HONESTLY glad they are being honest and pple know it is a family biz - funny thing is the father Frank and Chris had the same goofey look everyone knew the were related! Wish them success and I would have no problem buying from them as at least they were honest in their pricing and trying to get it done right - still like them as pple but they could do a lot to make it better - how about stopping the garbage of dressing like it is a office get your staff company shirts? Polo Shirts make them comfortable and make them seem down to earth!

Shopping at Hampton is a pleasure. No pressure, just do your research ahead of time and know your prices. Hampton was able to beat or meet the authorized dealer stores and internet prices every time. The main plus is being treated like a consumer without the pressure or bs that you get told by some big chain salespeople. I met with Vince at Hampton on a few purchases, he is knowledgeable and a consumate professional. I strongly recommend Hampton and Vince for all appliance purchases!

I had a very positive experience dealing with Hampton Appliance. We ordered multiple appliances for our new kitchen and new washer dryers. I felt like they gave me honest feedback and didnt try to sell me the most expensive option. We had a bad experience with AJ Madison over the summer, and things went much more smoothly with Hampton Appliance.They also carry some brands that other stores in the area dont, such as BlueStar and Miele. I worked with Vince and he was very responsive - I especially appreciated that he was responsive over email, because that makes things much easier. All of our deliveries were on time. Would definitely recommend!
