Really great place and its HUGE! I originally came with my husband to look around (yay fun lol) but I actually found a lava lamp I was crazy about.

If you’re thinking about buying floor from here or have them install a floor, I would recommend shopping elsewhere, not at home depot. They want your money but don’t have clue what they’re doing. We bought 2 kinds of floor. They said it would be installed in 4 weeks. It’s 5 weeks now and one kind just got here. The other one was gonna take so long that we canceled. Now they we’re supposed to come and install the floor and they said yes it’s all booked. Today I found out they booked the installment for the floor we canceled. How dumb can a person get. They must be there only for a paycheck

Ive built 2 steakhouses utilizing this store and its services. In the 3 years I been going, Ive noticed the management is slipping. The store is in complete disarray, product is lining isles making it difficult to traverse the store, the tile section is a joke. Management should be held accountable and section supervisors need to step it up. Staff is always friendly and the veterans in the tool rental shop are fantastic! I love this store and the fact they offer a 10% military discount for vets.

Back in May I purchased a refrigerator and dryer in store with C^^!/)÷ he asked if Id wanted the old appliances hauled away for a fee and I told him yes. Neither one worked. Today, the new appliances were delivered. I tipped both of the movers for their working so hard and helping me (thinking they were also hauling the old appliances off as well). About 10 minutes later I walk outside to see both piles of junk on my porch! I call GC and was told the button didnt get clicked for removal. The movers could come back for 79 plus whatever fee for every mile I live outside of GC. Im curious what female would be able to load up and remove a refrigerator and dryer, because I cant. Im livid because of what I paid and because I now have junk on my porch. I suggest using Menards or triple checking your old appliances will be removed. Id just placed an order for a tool and its going back. Never again will I use Home Depot.

Be careful if you have them pull an order for you!!! Instead of shipping out a replacement lid to a container we had them pull, they made us drive the 3 hours to get the correct lid. Then tried to say is was the online Home Depots fault and then hung up on us. Check your order very carefully before you leave the store because they are no fault if you dont notice there lack of attention.

This has been one of my favorite stores for a long time. They just upped their rating even higher today! Employees are super friendly, we were offered a complimentary bottle of water, and we found everything we needed for our current project. Great place to shop!

When dealing with a chain, it comes down to the service! The garden City home depot is service, job one! All the way. Bought a lawn mower after doing all the research, but I stopped in after church to just see....they had one. I was able to buy it, they loaded onto a cart and stored it a lock up until I came back the next day with the truck. All with courteous service and a true effort to help.

Please..... the workers need to know where basic items are. You may have luck asking someone where the front door is, but beyond that your totally on your own.

A very nice Older Gentleman help me find what I needed and was able to help me make my selection.

Ordered Flooring. My online tracker states it was supposed to be here on Friday January 29. NOT HERE called the store daily (WHICH THEY TOLD ME TO DO). I have a contractor ready but Feb 2 still no flooring. It has been sitting on a truck in Garden City, Kansas for a week. An outside delivery company was supposed to deliver last week to the store. Well once again I have been put off by Home Depot. No flooring again today! Really Unhappy! I think to take care of customers I would probably drive across town and get the orders. Probably will never order again!

The 2 associates I talked to could even point me in the right direction of what I needed. So needless to say they need to step up their customer service game a lot! Wont ever be going back

I gave one Star only because they dont give an option for no stars...we went in last Saturday, May 15 and picked out and purchased good quality carpet. This is carpet that is in stock.. We set today, Sunday, May 23 as a pick up day. We go today to pick up carpet and it is not ready...has not been cut. Will take our business somewhere else. We also couldnt find anyone in the carpet dept that had a clue. Had to go to the front to find anything out. Very unprofessional.

Very poor service. We went to look at refrigerator . The one we looked at was sold we wanted to order one like it. The man waiting on a lady which couldnt make her mind up of what she wanted to order still with her. We left store come back 1 hr later he was still working with her. No one offered to get someone else to help us after I told him What I was wanting.

Great place to shop sometimes good help is hard to find there but I do want to recognize Teresa at appliances she was so much help took the time to help us and actually get the appliance we needed. If it wasn’t for her I would never shop appliances there again.

We ordered some Pergo flooring through the Home Depot and long story short the flooring was damaged and it took an extra month to get🙃 Out of all the managers that didnt want to help or take blame, Drake was the one that stepped up and helped us out. He is prompt, understanding, and great to work with.

I believe the girls name was Luz, she was amazing with us in Sunday, November 15! Helped us with everything. Monday the 16th Chuck was equally helpful with a new refrigerator.

I ordered some tile and i was told it would be there that Tuesday and that i would be receiving an email and a text message to notify me when it was ready for pick up. Tuesday came around didnt receive any notification, so i waited until the next week. I called and was told my order was there. I drove 45mins to the home depot only to be told that my order wasnt there and that it would be there the following Tuesday. I waited again and once more didnt received any email or text about my order even though the MANAGER was supposedly going to personally call me when it came through and was ready for pick up. I waited another week called and was told my order was there and ready for pick up. I get there only to be told AGAIN that it wasnt ready!!! Even though i had just called 2 hours ago and was told it was READY. This time they went and actually put my order together bc guess what my order had been there for a whole month and they were just to damn lazy to put it together!!! Miraculously i was sent an EMAIL AND A TEXT STATING MY ORDER HAD BEEN READY SINCE A MONTH AGO!! Very poor service! If i could i would give them a Negative-5 stars.

They always have a hundred people in there working and none of them will help you. Three of them debate who would scan an item to see if they had more in the back. One guy said oh I can’t, I can’t find my phone. We ask for a white counter top and they said it will be over in that direction and the guy never got out of his chair from behind his computer and cell phone. After walking to the counter tops and no there to assist. We went to Menards down the road and received service!

Wow! Just visited the Home Depot in Garden City where the garden center milleniel gave me attitude when I asked for help loading something in a car. It was heavy - she and a co-worker watched me struggle. I then walked back and had to beg her to call for assistance. Funny end to the story- one of the clerks who had been watching the struggle came to help while whispering- I’m sure- that I was a “Karen”. I assure you this was not the service I expected from my previously favorite Home Depot! Way to go Home Depot!

I just came back from home depot in Garden City, ks. Poor customer service. I waited for about 40 mins. For a good associate to come help me. Nobody showed, up even though I saw them walk passed by me, even tried to get their attention, while I was wanting to get a sink for my kitchen. Since there was no attention from them, I had to go online do my own search, and order online from home. Zero 🌟 from me the only reason I chose 1 stsrt up there os because it was required to be able to post! 👎

Gentleman in doors was extremely helpful, couldnt get anyone to assist me in carpet section even after the gentleman in doors called them.over intercom. Oh well went elsewhere for my carpet.

You can find basically everything you need. Lumber prices are kind of high right now but the selection can be worse.

We asked Manny if we could check out with him at the service desk since we had a couple big items and he just walked away from us after asking one of his coworkers and she stated if he wanted to. He didnt answer us or anything just walked away! Thankfully Yamilex was behind him and she stepped up to help us! He needs to be retrained on customer service! Yamilex your awesome!!

Went to find an item the website said the store had 83 of them, but they were not where they were supposed to be. Went to the service desk, where I was sent to the pro desk, where a young man said he would page someone to assist me. He did so, and I waited, and waited, and waited, then I left. Abysmal service really, in my opinion.

I went in to home Depot today to get parts for the drain of my sinkI got help with an associate that works there within 3 minutes that I was in that aisle keep up the good work

I love home depot. There is something about being able to choose your wood than just getting settled with whatever twisted 2x4 someone else loads onto your trailer. I know all these places can be super aggravating trying to find help. Even here people dont exactly know what you are talking about sometimes. But they always seem to have someone walking around and eventually they figure out the thing you call X they call Y and its over here even tho you already walked by it 20 times :)

I never write reviews but after todays experience I feel it is necessary. The service at Home Depot is terrible. I spent 3 hours trying to get an appliance delivered to the local Home Depot store. I never got this accomplished. I have cancelled the order and am buying at a local store at a similar price.

Was very difficult to get ahold of someone to help me order. Was told by the am shift at 10am dept for carpet they would call me back and never did. I drove 1 hour to order and wasnt able to. Better communication and doing what you say you will do would help their business.

I love the home depot. It helps me get all the supplies to get my projects done. I wish the employees were more helpful, but with their online locator its easy to find things.

No check out stations open other than self check out. No personal assistance in location of items wanting to purchase. When finally found personnel was unable to understand English language appeared more intersted in talking to Mexican customers. Left without purchasing anything. Went to Menard s and found their staff ready to help and spent almost a thousand dollars .
