I love acme costumes!! I’m still very sad they’re closing down, but congrats to the owners for their retirement. Particularly their rental costumes are great, and they are being sold for the price of renting the pieces for one day. Real bargain. I’ve gotten a lot of props from here and will be sad to see it go, run here before they close in May! (These are the only police related costumes that were left by the time we arrived, but most costumes are much more realistic.)

Great access. Easily seen from road. Great parking . Handicapped parking. Awesome greeting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well stock for any kind party, celebration, and parade ! The prices are very fair in sales or rental ! I will use them for all my needs !I recommend that anyone use this service. You will be glad you did. !!!

I really enjoy going to this place and looking around. Its the only thing like it in or near town. It is always very swampy and musty inside which comes from the loads of rental clothing. I wish it smelled better and was about 5-10 degrees cooler. I still recommend it if you need costuming things and want to try them on.

I love walking through the store looking at all the costumes for rent or purchase and they have many more choices than any other store. Many accessories to choose from also. They have all types of makeup and consultants to show you how to use. Customer service is usually great. Its a fun experience just to walk through it all.

By far the rudest people I have dealt with, Ive shopped here for years, sent many people here on several occasions, I will not return. I had a family emergency that required me to go out of town, I called and told them I was not going to be able to bring in the rented costume on time, the lady I spoke to on the phone was very understanding, bring in costume today to be charged $42 for being late. I was told I wouldnt, the lady I dealt was rude and had no customer service skills and talked to me as if I was a child. Yes I understand yall charge late fees but I called way before it was due and they told me it was fine so there was no need for her to talk down to me. I will not return nor send any one I know.

This shop was awesome. Way more selections than your average chain shop. They also do costume rentals.

I rented a dress that didnt have the size. The (suppose to be) manager said theres nothing she can do. I didnt get to wear the dress and she wasnt pleasant at all! She told me that ACME costom are closing in April so no need to refund my money or give credit. She was screaming at me as I left the building.

This place is a disaster. Find another place for costume rental. The customer service is inconsistent. For credit card payments, they make a copy of both your credit card and license. How is not a violation of consumer protection?! Don’t go.

Favorite store in pooler. So sad that their closing

Not only did they follow us around like we were a bunch of thieves, but at checkout their poorly trained employees overcharged my debit card $600 dollars. They were very unapologetic about it and even told me I was responsible for any charges. It has been several days and my account is still overdrawn and I have no cash for anything. I will never go back here and I suggest that you dont either.
