Nice store, great prices, friendly staff.
Great staff. One of the best military benefits. Especially now, with things getting so expensive.
A huge part of me doesnt want to review this place in hopes to thwart others from coming here and making it busy. This place is and always will be NYs hidden commissary. Its small, maybe one third of the size of Fort Hamiltons but they utilize each and every space and pack it up. Most importantly I think this place shine more than others because of the staff. They are knowledgeable, polite, and always ready to help.
Staff is very friendly the store could use a little tender loving care
Small store but they carry most everything I need. If your military or disabled vet. Your in.
Only persons who are active military or retired can shop here. Must have valid ID
Small but well stocked.
Pretty good, but for military people only. The prices are better than your typical supermarket, but they arent amazingly cheap. Many of the prices here can be found in Walmart. The staff is friendly for the most part, and they have paper and plastic bags which is nice. Overall, if you are authorized to go hear, I would recommend it.
Great people.. been going there for years.. but the military needs to expand or upgrade this place
Great staff, so friendly and helpful..they actually some how manage to make you feel like family..
I know it is a small commissary but it never has ANYTHING!! Simple everyday things you would expect they dont have. Sometimes I dont know if its worth going.
I love the comissary but wish they would bring back self checkout. The baggers work for tips and I dont always have it.
Great savings for military families. last place i know of that has grocery baggers. pleasant helpful staff
There priced became too high. Good for saving some tax.
AS ALWAYS SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC
Great place for Veterans to shop.
Great staff...so friendly and helpful..they actually some how manage to make you feel like family...
The staff is excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and the selection is very good
The new program to allow service connected disabled vets to the commissary is a life saver for us that are living on a va pension. Got ground beef here yesterday for$1.21 a pound
Love this place
Small but reasonable. Pretty much the only military commisary on Long Island.
Excellent service every visit and very clean facility.
My friends work here n all r like family. Friendly n accomodating.
There is a terribly small variety of items here. Most if the time, the lines are incredibly long as there are more people bagging groceries instead of cashiers. And eveb when there are 2 cashiers (the max number they will ever have at a time), they spend the time checking your items out, talking to the grocers or otber cashier. Meanwhile, they are always a pain ti use coupons and make a huge scene having to manually input them one at a time. You might be saving a couple of bucks here and time, but ultimately this place is no longer worth frequenting as often as I used to, and I doubt they will stay in business for much longer, abd rightfully so. Their cashiers, aside from the brunette white lady have attitudes and are as lazy as their baggers. Avoid if you can.
I am long time user. Service and products are always excellent.
Clean, organized, Nice people, ok commissary.
As a retired veteran, we need places like this in New York
Not the widest selection, but the prices are good. The produce is hit or miss, but this place is great, since I am never traveling to Fort Hamilton for groceries.
Great value for military families
Great savings on brand names.
Not as cheap as I thought it would be but still got some good deals
Needs a makeover
Everyone is helpful and friendly
Great saves.
Got most of what was needed there
Military installation not for general public
Military only food store
Excellent
