One of the newer and better 99cent only stores. It seems to have all the others have and then some. Every week is a new bargain.

This is the best 99 cent only store in Los Angeles. They have the best selection out of all of the locations. Its definitely worth the drive!

Party section is a hot mess and no variation of what I was looking for. At 9:57 they were already telling people they’re closed. Listen. If I have to wait until 9 to announce MY job is closed, then you need to wait until 10.Since she wants to have a little attitude about my question in regards to stock, since she gave an attitude telling me they were closed at 9:59, you can have these go backs and put them away yourself.I’ll just go to another .99¢.

Unsafe dirty face masks and food laying all over the parking lots. Not enough handicapped parking lots.

Very clean n easy to find your items. Very busy n convenient with going to ups n good ratty like habit hamburger etc. Nice area n not too many begged to distract you. I truly enjoy this store but I still like the one on ALONDRA in Compton.

Back in the day? 99 cents ONLY! Flip flops? 99cents. Chopsticks? 99cents. Potting soil? 99cents. Tampons?? 99 cents. Chevy Chevette? 99CENTS!!! HOOO-BOY!!! Not anymore. Now they want $1.49 for that same Chevy Chevette! Im calling shenanigans!

They are fully stocked in the morning, just make sure youre quick to get in line, they only have 1 cashier

This is the nicest 99 cent only store Ive seen in a long time. It has recently gone through renovations and it looks and feels great. It looks like they have enlarged the store a bit too. Lets be honest, this shopping center has needed some work and out of slowly getting there. Theres new food places like Jersey Mikes n and its making a huge difference in the community. Lets go Gardena!

It was amazing best dollar store around. They have best foods, so much cool stuff. I would find it impossible to enter and only buy one item. This store has been such a blessing especially since other syores cost so much more. I am a mom of 4 and could not be more thankful that they keep my fridge full and kids happy for affordable prices. They have tons of fresh fruit and vegetables.

This is the largest cleanestmost organized 99cents only store I have ever been to.

I usually buy the $1.99 bagged salads that come with dressing and additions such as nuts, berries and crunchiest. These are fast and easy to make for dinner as a side salad or add protein, like chicken or taco meat, for an entree. Butter is also a good deal at $3.49.

The store is my local store and the staff is always so friendly. And eager and willing to help.

Only reason I give this location 3 stars is because it always has the longest lines & they move so so slow. I love coming here but knowing the lines are super long I would rather go elsewhere

I love going to this 99 cents only store because it is spacious, the employees are friendly and it has a great variety. Since the pandemic, they have done great sanitizing the carts and offering hand sanitizer. The lines are long sometimes but I understand because we have to stay 6ft apart.

My dad use to wake me up on Christmas 🎄 Eve and say cmon son, we are going to the store and you can pick any one item for your Christmas present. Wed pull up to the .99 only and my face and smile would light up.

I have been to this location when they just opened up . The store was in very good shape, organized, clean abd well stocked . Now its not in comparison to that before. Is it the managment or to be blamed on covid 19, and loss of employees.

The location is huge compared to other stores and always have a great employee to customer relationship that is helpful and welcoming but the Security had given me the look like he was going to search me for what reason? I have no clue otherwise me only have one my fitted one piece with no pockets, a small hand wallet, car keys and phone. Where was I going to hide any stolen item? That the heavens two other customers pulled his attention off of me because I would have been embarrassed to have to search for something on me that’s clearly not there.

This store is stocked very will with a lot of items. Recently they started offering items that cost more than $1 and now they are selling some items there for as high as $20. The store gets really busy but they dont open additional registers to keep up with the long lines, Where is the store manager? Your job is to keep an eye open on whats going on in the store and react to it.

The staff is rarely familiar with store items or which isle said items may be located. Frustrating.

Awesome as usual

I took my mother to do her shopping first thing this morning. The store was clean and the isles were not cluttered or crowded so it was easy to move around.We were able to find the items she wanted and move toward checkout.Once at checkout, my shopping bliss ended! A LOOOOONG line, another line was occupied with someone checking out and no light on (no one else could get in the line).FINALLY they open another line, but went to the closed line (that FINALLY turned the light on) and took some people from that line and came AFTER we had been in the line for a while.For once in my life, I didnt raise hell! I wasnt happy, but I behaved. Our checker was tired (I guess he had a rough night). Hardly any welcome and my feeling was he could take us or leave us, cause he wasnt even concerned.

Worst 99 cents store. Always line of people waiting for cashier. One lousy manager who hardly cares for customers waiting on line! In every supermarket cashiers help customers with their purchases and place them in the cartBUT NOT HERE.

I come here because of the low prices and great parking. They keep their shelves well stocked and despite of the long lines, you get in and out fairly quickly.

Ive been going to this store since I was a small, immature child. I always loved this place, I grew up here. I havent been here since I moved to Bakersfield about a year ago. I miss this place. I would always sword fight with my sibling when I went there, or with my friend if I saw them there. I would love the yogurt and the crackers here ugh this place just has so many memories of so many things. This is where I bought stuff for school projects, I bought food when I was walking home, I just overall lived this place. Youve earned 5 stars from me!(I went here while genx clothing was still at this location)

Its what you would expect from any 99¢ store. Your basic essentials, outdated books and coloring notebooks... Shasta Cola, not to mention that good bread and basic supplies for school projects... For cheap (Duh)...Consider yourself lucky if you find any good essentials, technology wise.

Its a very clean. With a huge variety of things. This location can definitely serve as a supermarket at the 99 cent price. Its one of the biggest 99 cent store Ive been too. Highly recommended

Surprisingly not crowded for the 4th of July weekend

Happy that they actually usually have enough check out stands open for the 5:00 rush. Most of the clerks Ive met have great attitudes and customer service. Thanks Lakita very nice young lady. Good luck. I met her when she first started and she still remembered me and my family. Has a great attitude about work and greeted every customer in line both times Ive seen her in action. I like the variety of fruits and veggies. Also frozen foods. It was a one stop shop for me this visit. Lemons are expensive in the market and got them here for a lot cheaper. Surprised they even had persimmons. This is one of the larger 99¢ stores. Youd want to visit if your in the neighborhood. They always have the up to date Holiday decorations available. Only downfall is they have over very large restroom with only one commode available. The restroom could clearly fit at least 2 stalls + 1 large handicap stall. Consider it a small investment. I know a licensed plumber if you need one. Thanks Again!!

Its big and spacious, and it offers a large variety of products. It has fresh produce, ice cream, plenty of household products and shampoos, water in assorted sizes, candy, and bags of ice in a separate Ice freezer. Also, this particular 99 Cents Only Store is clean and has a restroom.

Store is very clean. Employee named Jordan went through extra lengths to help me. Such great customer service.

This store just keep getting worse. I was there today where they only have 2 cash registers open with long lines on both registers. The Cashiers asked at least 3 times for additional cashiers to open but no body showed up. Everyone in line was frustrated. I ended up spending almost 15 minutes standing in line. Where is store manager?

I come here often. More than my own local 99 cents store in my own city. Surprisingly every time I do come, the lines are insanely huge and never ending. I’ve worked retail for years and I’m always amazed at how the lines are always so huge here. It’s not so much customers having multiple items. But, it’s the fact that they only have 2 REGISTERS open. They NEED to HIRE more cashiers. Where I worked, we had trained associates who can back up the front end when called, or in most cases the manager actually steps it up and opens a register. But I’ve yet to see that happen not once here. And if anybody decides to apply here, please DONT waste your time! On the day of my interview an employee advised me that the manager “likes hard working people, who move none stop”. I was given advice simply because I asked for directions. I went in with that same attitude since that’s what type of people this manager hires according to the individual. Let me add that I am a student and now have 2 degrees. When I applied a couple months ago, I already had a degree and told them I have school only on 2 days. I was practically free through out the week. ESPECIALLY the weekend. I had the experience. I had the availability. The manager was Hispanic so realistically we know what kind people they are when it comes to their own. In a actual professional environment my single degree would’ve been more than enough to say “yea, this individual really is a hardworker” and would’ve been in a better position compared to somebody with just a high school education. Me having a degree should’ve been more than enough to show my work ethic. I’m determined and hardworking. Months later I’m still broke with a 4 year old. Yes a student, and a young parent. But thanks for not hiring me. I went through this semester like a breeze since losers like this place are picky on who they hire. I might as well just say I only have a high school diploma. My chances are higher at getting the job at a place like this. Please hire more cashiers with a bachelors in counting money. (Sarcasm) you guys need more cashiers. I would’ve been making those lines go down quicker than all your employees lol And some advice when interviewing, please ask personal questions. Get to know the person you are interviewing.

Currently under construction of the exterior. This location doesnt seem to have as much variety as other stores. Plus some aisles seem to be stocked more often than others. Clean place over all and very friendly staff.
