Friendly, helpful, and serious selection of materials. Also great selection on REM / scrap if you dont know what you want and are looking for inexpensive bits for a project. Nadia and Julie are super helpful and very friendly and courteous. Before you judge them too harshly, remember that they start EARLY in the morning (as its part of the industry), they deal with rude and often rough people a lot of the time, and processing metal involves a lot of hands and time. If you dont plan well, and come late in the day, dont expect to have the red carpet rolled out for you. Also, they are helpful if you show up not during rush hour (for your small projects), but like other people have mentioned in the reviews, dont expect to absorb tons of their time and attention when they are constantly dealing with and processing $ 10k + orders, which would be a priority. Id say this place is pretty great whether youre a small DIY project person or a large business dealing with a ton of metal.

Always a good shop to go to. Picked up the gussets and bolts I needed to work on project. The shop bolt section is unorganized. Got what I needed and got out.

Great customer service. My first time here I expected them to be mean and grouchy, but they were super nice. They have a huge selection of good casters but you have to call for the price unfortunately. Good selection of welding supplies too. Weldable piano hinges. They also have a section with scrap or cutoffs where you pay by the pound

Cool place, good source for basic metals. Nice diy selection but its sometimes hit-and-miss.

This place is great. They always have everything you need. They can cut the metal for you they also have plasma cutters. They staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Customer service is level 0. They dont even look at us while we were standing in front of their counter waiting to be helped. The employee ignored me for a good 10 -15 minutes, looking at the computer screen while I was standing right in front of him waiting to be helped.It was another 3 employees behind that counter, one of them looking like he is a manager, but none of them even looked at me. They are not friendly there. and dont want to do business.

Always a treat when i come here i get to find all of the metal sheets, bar whatever i need . In this case two different sizes of metal for a tool i need made.

This place is a joke, their hours of operation should be 8-4PM. I called at 4:05pm and they DO NOT WANT your business. I arrived at 4:11pm and a short Asian guy said NO MORE BUSINESS with his arms crossed like an X. Thats a shame, I really needed to order a bunch of metal.

You must remember this is a large place that probably routinely gets orders for tens of thousands of dollars of material. So if youre looking for a $20 piece of metal for your DIY project you have to remember that youre probably not their top priority.

Five years or more and still great customer service and a friendly staff

While my first trip there years ago had a problem (which I cant remember) I now find myself going there once or twice a year for misc tinkering materials. Prices are ok. Counter people are nice enough in person or on the phone. You can look around for something if you dont know what you need yet. They can cut stuff down for you. Keep in mind that cut metal is VERY messy & sharp so plan accordingly.
