Overall good experience. They got me in quick and repaired a flat. Seemed a little pricey since other places do it for free but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Rated 4 instead of 5 because I overheard one of the shop technicians mouthing that I parked in front of the bay door even though the sign says not to. I explicitly told them I would move and they said not to worry about it.

Usually they are great, however today I did not have a wowing experience. The previous week I scheduled an appointment in person. When I came in today for the oil change I had scheduled, they had me nowhere on the schedule. I was told if I were to wait it would be a few hours. Luckily, it was 45-50 min and not a few hours. I can’t remember how long an oil change usually takes here so can’t compare it to the typical wait. The gentleman who made my appointment was there and addressed that he remembered making my appointment but that it didn’t save, complaining about the computer. However, no apology was made or discount given for the inconvenience of my appointment not being properly saved or beginning on time. I would suggest calling ahead to make sure they still have your appointment, this has happened to someone else I know as well. I will still utilize them going forward but will be diligent to make sure the appointment I scheduled is actually scheduled.

The only place in the metro area I will take my cars, trucks, trailers or equipment for tires. 6 stars would be a better review! Its nice to have somewhere that cares about values.

Want to thank the guys at BigO in gardner, Les and the guys always take care of me, get me in and out quick. Never try to upcharge for un needed things and always make sure your very informed of whats being done. They take care of all 3 of our trucks and my corvette. Highly recommend

Update since i had tires replaced. then tire sensors been messed up took back to them they said fixed, still not fixed said wasnt them. Take it to kia. But all worked before they took into shop.Also my car was hit In There parking lot, there employee witnessed it, also they have it on camera. never told me. Very unhappy with place.

This place is a life saver. It’s so nice to have a place in town we can get our tires fixed in no time flat. Even if the tire isn’t flat they’ll reset the sensor saying something is wrong when there really isn’t. I really appreciate their honesty and integrity.

Stopped in 40 minutes before closing on a Saturday afternoon for an oil change and was in and out in 25 minutes, tires rotated and $59. They were super friendly and quick and very reasonably priced! They will be my go-to in the future!

I don’t like this place. I drop off a vehicle and tell them what to do and what to check and they don’t do what I ask. I needed an oil change and I told them that the tires were looking bad. My instructions were to check the tires and call the number on file so we can give permission to order the tires if replacement was needed. No one called me or the fleet manager to inform us what was needed and get authorization. This is the second time that this has happened. Both times I had to go back to the shop to find out what was going on. I will not be taking our company vehicles back there anymore. I will find a place in Olathe and make the 20 minute drive. Horrible

Ive had a lot of bad experiences lately with auto parts sales and service. I would rather always do my own wrenching for some things I dont have the equipment. Call them and asked about getting tires mounted and balanced they should bring it up well get it done. Didnt waste any time when I got there the kid that changed my tires was friendly knowledgeable and professional I dont usually feel comfortable having anyone else do maintenance repairs in my car but the kid that helped me immediately noticed I had bad wheel bearings and made me feel like he knew exactly what he was doing it was capable of a lot more I wouldnt have a tribal dropping my car off and having him do any repair best experience Ive had in a long time I would definitely go back

Quick in and out for tire rotation.

We set up an appt last week to get all new tires on my car. The guy that we talked to was very nice and helpful and ordered tires for us! They had my name phone number tires, all the info! I called this morning to double check the time of the appt and the girl answering the phone named Carly was incredibly RUDE. “uhm, yeah no we don’t have that.” “Yeah No one here has any idea what you’re talking about” then I asked if she could check if the tires we ordered were there hoping they could figure it out that way. I told her the make model and size of my tire but didn’t know the brand “Nope and if you want new ones then you need to tell me the exact brand and size you need if you want me to do it.” Didnt have to know all of that the first time and the guy gladly helped us figure it out! I have never been rude or hung up on someone but she was just awful and acted like I was really inconveniencing her.

These guys are awesome. Ive never seen this place when it hasnt been extremely busy. Yet I dont feel like just another customer. They always take good care of my vehicles, provide top notch service and do it at an affordable price. Keep up the good work!

The CREW that works here is ON IT! Never seen hustle that this in such a physically small shop. They do their absolute best to stay on schedule and are really friendly. Would love to give 5 stars but the front desk folks can be a bit pompous and rude... pretty much every time Ive been here.

I was initially impressed with price and service. It has been a few years and I relocated to Nebraska, with tons of tire issues. After using another shop, I discovered Big O Tires in Gardner recommended the wrong size tires and used the incorrect weights to balance. The weight issue has caused a leak in all 4 tires requiring additional service and cost to make these tires reliable. Disappointed in the recommendations and products used on my vehicle. I would not recommend this location.

I went on their website and made an appointment and ordered tires according to what they said my truck took. Four hours after I dropped my vehicle off I got a call from them saying that I ordered the wrong tires. I told the guy that I ordered the size his website said to. He tells me that he can have them Monday morning. I said ok Ill drop it off Monday morning. So I drop it off Monday and when I went to pick it up it didnt have the tires that I wanted or ordered. I had them refund my money put my old tires back on and I took my vehicle elsewhere.

Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. When examining my car, technician discovered a couple other items that were in need of repair. He called me first and talked to me about the cost if I fixed it today and also an approximation as to how long I could go till it needed to be done. Very nice about it. I had them fix everything that day and the final bill was lower than I expected. As always, I was very pleased with my experience at Big O Tires in Gardner, KS.

I needed 4 new tires, I called and asked if I needed an appointment, or if I can just show up. I was told either way. I made my appointment for 3 and was on my way out the door 30 minutes later. I had to come back, to have them to torque the tires. Justin helped me pick out great tires for my car, that didnt cost much more than the ones I had on there.Edit: 1/2021Make sure when you request to have your tires rotated they do it. I had driven over a razor blade, came in to have a new tire put on under the warranty that I had bought with the new tires. They replaced it with a bald tire. Ended up going elsewhere for replacement of the bald tire.

The manager went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied.

Wont go there for anything other than tires. One of my main reasons for going in was to get one of my serpent belts replaced as well as a few other routine maintenance things. I set up my appointment, took half a day off work, and dropped my car off got a call an hour later to clarify which belt I needed replaced since my car has two. When I came to pick up my car Justin explained that they could not replace my belt because the guy with the specialty tool was not in, and would not be in till Thursday. I guess its the workers personal tool. All I know it that I now have to take another day off work spend more of my time & money to get my main issue fix. I will not be getting my belt replaced at Big O Tires in Gardner KS.

Quick service! Had four tires changed in about 30-40 minutes, with an appointment.

Had an alignment done and they finished it quick for a work in, due to not having an appointment.

Big O Tires followed up with me in regards to the complaint about issues that arose in my car after the previous service. They fixed it for free. They are honest mechanics providing a high level of customer service. Very grateful to see a mechanic shop operate this way.

I recently had a nail in my tire, (and I wasnt able to get serviced at one of the Big Box stores) so that afternoon I stopped into BOT. Even though there were 12 people ahead of me, BOT was able to complete the job before close of business that same day. Not only did they complete the job, but they also provided me with excellent customer service. Anymore, good customer service seems so hard to find, so I wanted to pass along my wonderful experience. Bought tires and had plenty of suspension work and oil changes done here. Guys have always been informative. I have had issues before with an occasional thing and it has ALWAYS been taken care of immediately with professionalism. My preferred choice for tires and oil.

Was towing my boat 2 hrs home from kc on a Saturday night. The right rear bearing failed on I35 a few miles from Gardner. Saw a few sparks in the rear view and then some smoke. By the time I got it off the road the whole assembly was gone, nothing but a glowing red axle stub. Never found any of it.Limped into Gardner, found Big O, locked it up, and dropped off the ball lock key and my phone number in their drop box.Got a call first thing Monday morning. They took care of everything, contacted Ranger Boat, found all the replacement parts, and kept me up to date while they got it fixed. They even drove down I35 to see if they could find the old assembly. They also pulled the other 3 tires off and checked the other bearings. Most tire shops wouldnt bother to go to the trouble.The price was very reasonable, especially considering all the work they put into it, and all the long distance phone calls to keep me updated on their progress.

For as long as I live in this area I will forever patronize Big O Tires. Billy, Les, and everyone else that Ive ever dealt with here has been fantastic and you would be hard pressed to find a better deal on an oil change. Ive been charged $70 for service that doesnt even begin to compare to my experiences at Big O and they manage to do it for $40!!

We are new to the area and i know nothing about cars. Needed break lights fixed the day before Thanksgiving and they were so busy but did not hesitate to tell me the wait time and they would look at it. They quickly fixed the problem and explained in a way I understood. It has an amazing small town feel and the employees were genuine and so nice! I am definitely making this my go to place for my cars! Highly recommend

On my way to work from Overland Park, I was alerted that I had an under inflated tire. Based on recommendations from co-workers, I decided to stop by Big O Tires. I arrived at the store at 7:30 while the store was being set up. I didnt realize the store didnt open until 8:00. Despite this, several people went out of their way to let me know that they could help me. They checked me immediately. I appreciate that. I was able to arrive at work on time.

Did not give the 70 dollars off for a set of 4 tires then tried to up the prices of parts they said were bad by over 3 times the price. So no I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy

I called, was able to get a next-day appointment ...the gentleman immediately noticed that the front left tire was split! Took my work car in with a vibration that I was pretty sure was in the rear. We chose some tires and they arranged for them to be delivered on Saturday. I was then told that they (Big O) would give me a call when they had time to give it a test drive to confirm the issue was in the rear. This did not happen. Dropped my car off Friday night anyway due to having to get back on the road Monday. Received a call on Saturday morning letting me know that they had changed the rear tires and the vibration was gone. I went to pay my bill and pick up my car. I noticed that there was a TPP (tire protection plan) charge of $37.98 on my bill. I went in and asked for this to be refunded. The person behind the desk said that he couldnt put it back on my card, I would have to come back by next week to pick up a check? I then asked him why this charge had been placed on my card when I hadnt approved it. He tells me that we did discuss it and I agreed. I mentioned to him again that this was a company car, I already have this kind of protection plan and that we had not discussed this charge. He stated again that we had discussed it and that i had agreed and then told me to have a nice day as a way of letting me know that the conversation was over. Having worked in sales for the several years, I was pretty astounded and angry. I will grace their doorstep 1 more time to pick up that check, but I can promise you that none of the 4 vehicles we own, nor my company car will ever receive any type of service from them again.

We had to purchase a couple of new tires from Big Os earlier this year thanks to the State of Kansas very poor effort in maintaining the highways and hitting a large pothole causing a blow-out. This was our second visit to Big Os in Gardner this year as we picked up a nail somewhere and had a slow leak. When I arrived on this visit, I was greeted by Billy and he quickly assisted me in getting my car in to have the tire repaired. The shop staff were quick to get my car in and tire repaired. Bryan assisted me in checking out once the car was finished and did so in a quick, friendly and efficient manner. All the staff I encountered, to include several guys working in the shop were very friendly and helpful. Since we had purchased the tire protection plan, there was no charge to having the tire repaired. I will definitely continue to use Big O Tires in Gardner, Kansas and would recommend them to everyone.

I went in for new tires for my Excursion. A few days before, I had put my spare on and forgot to bring my old tire with me. Jeremy offered to bring it in for me (we live in neighboring towns) and bring my new one back, so I didnt have to drive all the way to Gardner. I was charged for a Tire Protection Plan and not told about it (I was told the amount due and the invoice was folded and put in an envelope. When I was home I looked over the invoice. I already have roadside assistance AND I was never asked if I wanted this optional service. I went back to the store on the next business day and was told by whom I assume was the manager that it is Big O Tires Policy to charge customers for this $51.96 service without their permission and if they don’t want it, they can come back and ask to have it removed since it’s optional. This is dishonest and fraudulent and not ok. I was refunded the $51.96

I have been using Les and his team for years to work on all of my vehicles. Tires can be an expensive purchase anywhere, but with Les team, you actually feel like you are being taken care of. I will only have this team work on my vehicles because I can fully trust them.

Excellent customer service! My dad is the owner of his own automotive service and tire shop in a different part of the state. Big Os gives us the same kind of honest, friendly service as my dads shop back home. They are spot on, on reasonable pricing, and working with the customer on the customers vehicle needs. For honest friendly service, they are a great pick for all of you car service needs.
