Have only used these guys for inspection stickers, but always met with a smile and great service! Don’t mind the wait, since we aren’t in any kind of rush!

TJ &Sons has always been trustworthy and professional. I have been doing business with them for at least 15 years and have always been pleased. No returning multiple times for same issue. Once and done! Honest, professional, timely and reasonable cost!

Went there to give someone a ride to pick up their car after it got towed. The person who worked/helped me there, who I assume is the owner, was very polite and was very nice/sympathetic to the whole ordeal. After we payed the tow fine we realized our car had dangerously low levels of oil in it (our fault) and I went inside to ask if the shop had any oil I could buy. The owner came out and gave me about 1.5 quarts for free! Definitely lifted my spirits and had my experience go from an average one to a great one!That aside the older lady at the front desk was very rude and entitled. Every other employee was generally pleasant so I dont know what her deal was, but this is my only complaint. It obviously hampers the business and makes the already embarrassing experience of paying a large fine even more volatile and depressing then it has to be. This isnt necessarily the shops fault so Im not detracting any stars for it, but its definitely something to keep in mind.As long as you treat tow drivers with respect they will usually return the favor, so I assume 90% of the 1-Star reviews are from people who treated the employees rudely and got a taste of their own medicine. Its not the employees fault your car got towed, its yours and you got to owe up to it and pay the fine. The tow company isnt the one that decides to tow your car, its the town that puts out the order to tow your car! If youve been wrongly towed take it up with them, not the drivers!

I paid for my vehicle to get out of their lot after they towed it, Then they tried to take it AGAIN FIFTEEN SECONDS LATER! !my landlord had an agreement with the chief of police that no ones vehicles would not be taken. My keys, car and house; were in my truck and it was on. I was in the process of moving my other truck (with the spare key) when They decided to towed it. In a matter of ten seconds my car was hooked and gone. But when you need a tow it takes an hour. Anyways...when I was in the lot waiting for my receipt. A very drunk tow truck driver tried to hook up my car IN THEIR PARKING LOT and tow it fifteen seconds after I paid for the ticket! I drove my truck around the building and while I’m standing behind it he starts backing up and tells me he is going to tow it again. These people are crooks and there’s nothing else to it. It’s two In the morning and I had to deal with this. Don’t waste your time with these people.

They dont wear masks and the front old lady seemed rude when we were just trying to ask some questions about inspections.

STAY AWAY! Never bring your car here! I brought my car in for some suspension issues. When I dropped the car off, I tried to explain what I was experiencing with the car. I was rudely told to leave the diagnostics to the professionals by a man named Peter (short, balding, mechanic). When I tried to explain that I wasn’t diagnosing the car, he got very hostile and confrontational. Had a glazed over look and smelt of alcohol. He should not be allowed to work for any business or deal with customers. I will never bring my car there again.

I was woken up in the middle of the night to my car being towed after a landlord/police agreement that we could park our cars on the road while the parking lot was being paved. Everyone in the building ran outside to move cars after TJ’s gave 30 minutes for the cars to be moved. We were outside immediately and my car was gone. Meanwhile, someone else had their car towed while they were standing there and getting into it. This place did not care about people what so ever. We all went to go get our cars back and they were extremely unprofessional and rude. They even tried re-towing someone’s car while they were waiting for a receipt in the parking lot. I have never met more heartless people in my life and I hope no one respects or uses this business. Getting towed is one thing, getting towed for parking somewhere you are allowed to be, while you’re outside to move your car, is insanity.

Rudest people to deal with. If you call and ask a question they ignore you then hang up.

The worst absolute experience I have ever encountered. Coming here was just a formality so that I can get my inspection sticker. My dad is a mechanic however cannot issue the stickers. My car was in perfect condition. I made the mistake of waiting in the waiting room while my car was being inspected by a bald guy with glasses. While in the waiting room I heard power tools being used. My car was the only car in that garage and I very much so know that power tools are not involved in the car inspection process. When they brought me to my car they told me my front wheel baring was loose which it had not been so before. I was immediately rejected. Everything was perfect. Seconds later the guy tries to get money out of me by quoting me a price to get it fixed by them. This place is nothing but a bunch of liars and scam artists who take advantage of people for more profit. They should be disgusted in themselves. The fact that they still remain open as a business astonishes me.

Thay go out of their way to help you out. Theres not to many people like that anymore.

Very unprofessional terrible people skills would not recommend

We called today to make sure they were open and still doing inspection stickers to which we were told oh yes of course we are. I then asked what time they were open until and was told we take our last inspection customer at 4:30pm. My fiance pulled in at 4:09pm and a guy came out and rudely signaled him to leave so when he told him we had called and was told 4:30 was the last inspection he rudely said well you were misinformed, were done for the day. It wouldve been fine if he just wouldve said sorry due to the weather weve decided to close early, but that wasnt the case. Will start going elsewhere for inspection stickers!

Got out of their truck and tried to physically fight residents of my apartment building while they were moving their vehicles, tried to tow vehicles IN THEIR LOT that were just released after being towed. Extremely rude (with police present) to anyone trying to retrieve their vehicles at 1am. Told us it would be “a long f**king night” after we asked for receipts

These guys go over and above. Seriously my hero for pressing a wheel bearing in for me when they really didnt have the time to spare. They made it possible to get the job finished this weekend. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know. Thanks so much TJs. See you when my next sticker is due.

I called up about my friends car because my other friend had to pay for the clutch replacement on his car and whoever answered was extraordinarily rude and isn’t good at their job clearly.

My family and I happened to be TJs customers by chance and will be for life. My family, my wife, two young kids, and my dog, were on our way from Cape Cod to Vermont for a camping trip when the radiator completely let go on our Jeep while getting gas off of the highway. TJs was the closest shop and I called them, explained the situation I was in and without hesitation, told me to bring it right over and theyd take a look. When we got to the shop, we were met by mechanic and one of the shop owners. They immediately assessed the Jeep, took it into the shop, and began working. They also just as quickly took my family into the office and out of the intense heat. The repair needed to be finished in the morning because there just wasnt enough time since we arrived just at closing, but the owners helped make hotel reservations that would accept us as well as our dog and recommendations in the area to eat. The Jeep was done the next morning and has been fixed better than I couldve done myself. In short, Ive never been treated so well by any business of any kind and had such a professional repair. They are a family business and show through their actions that they care about others just as much. If you need any auto repairs and dont go to TJs, you are missing meeting the nicest family on earth, and getting your car fixed by pros.

Deceitful Price Gougers. (Read through the posts below, I am not the only one they tried to extort.) I was stuck and needed a tow during the cold snap of Christmas 2017. After a 2.5 hour wait, they tried to charge me double and demanded CASH upfront. The receptionist was rude, discourteous, and acted like I was bothering her. I called WESTMINSTER GARAGE they helped me immediately for HALF the price.

They suck towing my car kind hard give something nice to say about them because if that . They didnt mess up my car thats about it. But 150.00 bucks for half mile and 20 minutes. Ok nottttt

Their dispatcher/receptionist Jean, was just unpleasant and unhelpful. The rate wasnt too bad for a tow. But not good service at all. She took forever deciding it she wanted to do the service.

Extremely rude woman on the phone (the mother). Sarcastic as well. My car was towed to them. My AAA card was in the glove box. I had no way to get there so I asked if someone could get the card and read me the numbers. She annoyingly asked one of her sons to get the card and I heard him say if she wants it she can get it herself. I always disliked that place and even more so now. They dont even deserve 1 star

Went for alignment, the receptionist is rude and they charged me for an alignment and gave me the truck back with the steering wheel thirty degrees off center. Complete waste of money.
