Friendly service and amazing food. It was my first time experiencing Ethiopian and I will be back. The server helped me order. She suggested something safe and something unique. I had 6 children with me and we all enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend.

The place is too small, and they have awkward setup. Friendly but unattentive service.

The food that they gave me tase like it was 3 days old am not happy with the doro wet the chicken was very dry and not chewable.

As an Ethiopian, Im very picky when it comes to the test of our food and since I moved to the Dallas area 2 years ago, Ive visited almost all the Ethiopian restaurants in the DFW area and none of them where to my standard in terms of the test although they had a great customer services. Kezira Cafe is the one place where I felt the real test. Their butter is authentically Ethiopian and reminiscent of my childhood. My wife (who is also Ethiopia) and I ordered the Kitfo, Derik Tibs and the Doro Wote to go. It was the BEST Ethiopian food we had in a long time.

Dont let the menu overwhelm you. I never know wat is wat at African restaurants, we did a bit of research before we went and then asked. The staff was very good to help, it may have been the owner; not sure. The food was delish! We love injera, and its gluten free (teff flour, buckwheat, and sorghum). Not necessarily good to eat on a daily basis, but fine for a treat every once in a while. Will definitely be back!

If zero star was possible, I would give it judt that. This place is new and terrible. Service was just awful. Our food took an hour. This is not typical for Ethiopian restaurants. It took almost 20 minutes to get a menu. Please do your self a favor and go else where they value your business.
