Came in looking for a couple items that showed they had in stock in store according to their website. Initially, I couldn’t find the items so Kelvin checked their back stock and couldn’t find it either. I decided to purchase different items instead but then Kelvin put forth the extra effort and actually was able to locate the items. I really appreciate him going above and beyond to take care of a customer.
I called to confirm that a specific printer was in stock. After being told it was and given a price I drove to the store and discovered that they did not have one in stock, the price was more than I was quoted, and irritatingly, the person in charge (manager?) was completely unsympathetic to my frustration. I will not use office depot again unreasonable

Kelvin and Grant are awesome! I went to buy a new laptop, told them Im really not savvy on transferring from an old to new. They were super professional and helpful. I was up again and going in 30 minutes thanks to them!
Would not honor price they had online. They told me the all the orders were cancelled but I never received an email.
Not well stocked. You’d think at the very minimum there would at least be boxes, only size they had were small size yet online it doesn’t show them to be out of stock.
Terrible for copy and print services. Everything I go in there it take 40 minutes just for me to get help to go into my email to print stuff out. Everytime.... its terrible!!
Came in in bad mood because I couldn’t find what I was looking for tire and frustrated dint have my mask on walked in but grant greeted me and asked if I had a mask he was so polite went and got it came back in I was looking for a fax machine he took the time to check what he had in inventory then gave all the different option explained what laser jet and explain the benifits great guy wish all the stores had a grant cope he was beyond helpful but not because he was nice but had an answer for all my questions great guy why I took the time to write this review
Last August, there was an incident where the automatic door hit my arm causing me to fall, and sustain a head injury. Their corporate assured me that they would pay my medical bills, but nothing has been pain as of yet.I havent set foot back in there since. Prior to the incident, i was a regular customer.
Is this location going out of business? The shelves are either bare or so unorganized it is impossible to find anything. The atmosphere is dull and it seems like a miserable place to work. I will not be back. 1 more customer lost to Amazon. Good luck guys.
If a business model exists to maximize the loss of potential customers, Office Depot in Garland on Centerville Rd has gone above and beyond all expectations to make this practice commonplace .All of the digital and self serve tools exist and appear simple to access and utilize by the end user when needing material printed. No matter how alluring the slick, polished Office Depot business center might look and lend itself to a productive working atmosphere, when trying to print and have something printed customers will invariably have to wait. You wait after entering your contact info into a computer. Once you’ve waited 10, 15, even 20 minutes and your text message tells you you’re first in line and ready to be helped, you still have to wait while the one or two staff are still tending to the needs of the customers that preceded you. If you’ve endured the wait, the staff are pulled in several directions before your job is ever completed, ensuring a longer wait. The royal slap in the face are the ads touting a streamlined process to ‘Finally Avoid the Wait’.This was my experience today, and every other time I’ve tried to have Office Depot on Centerville print my project.Bottom line, the one or two staff in the business center are doing the best they can under overwhelming circumstances. It’s impossible for them to do any single job well with so many other customers vying for their attention. Each time I’ve been here, I hoped the situation would have improved and my last visit was just that one-off circumstance. That has NEVER been the case. As time is always an issue, and not so much the cost, I save myself a lot of time, and TONS of aggravation by driving 15 minutes down to FedEx, get my prints & copies done CORRECTLY the 1st time, and be on my way happy to have not wasted my day and good blood pressure.Lesson learned.
Came in to print a shipping label and they were short staffed. An exceptional associate named Josh left the checkout register to help me with my printing needs without me asking for assistance. He made it a point to take care of me even though printing and shipping was not his department. I was in and out in maybe 5 minutes.A business is only as good as its employees and Josh was as good as they come. Thanks!

Bought a chair from there, customer service was great.
I placed my order on March 7th the order still hasn’t came in and they giving me 2 different dates from the original date they were supposed to at the store for pick up . Beyond frustrating because when I call they treat me as if I’m not a valued customer I guess if you place a order with them and you aren’t spending hundreds your order will be pushed back without notice but they will already your money for the product. Their solution was to tell me to cancel my order or just wait for them to come in. I’ve order business cards before and have never had such a problem with pick up, after this is finally done I will never use Office Depot again for my business needs the only business they care about is Office Depot not their customers.Sincerely I want my money back and the cards now
Maybe better than an inkjet at home, maybe. Ink runs and dull overall print when selecting Photo. Salesman said they are not Photo printers, whatever that means and be prepared to wait. Went in the night before and there was one poor person working the department while 3 others were stocking the shelves.

Don’t order your cards online through Office Max/Depot... They didn’t have the envelopes I ordered so I had to pay 11.00 rather than 2.00 for envelopes when I went to pick our cards up. Then they tried to pawn off horribly cut cards on me (they were already packaged so I didn’t see them beforehand). Had to go back in to complain and they already knew they had f@$&ed up as they told me they would have fixed them before they wrapped them up and gave them to me but their printer broke. Then I was informed that it wouldn’t be fixed for several weeks, they reprinted them but I had to take them to another location to cut. I have the cards now, but definitely not worth it.
Very nice service from knowledgeable staff. Well organised store. Its always grand to see new things, but still knowing they carry the things you like.
This place reminds me of circuit city. There are more employees than customers, and too many of them are focused more on operational tasks than offering good customer service. I believe this is from poor management, not from the store level, but from the hierarchy. Anyway, I give four stars based on the availability of the products I need, even though I have to look for everything myself.

We came specifically looking for chairs, but unfortunately they do not have all their models on display. The sales associate who came back to assist us was a bit overbearing and didnt pick up on the fact that we were just looking... Even though we did that a couple times. I get that hes trying to make a sale, but hovering around while we were trying to discuss options was off-putting. Also, the store is generally overpriced. The chair we ended up deciding on was online for $70 less plus free shipping.
Usually never had a problem with them, but placed a print job for 2 pictures an hour before the store opened. Was sent confirmation that it would be done at 4 that day. Felt it was too long for 2, but I took it. I asked to be texted when done. 4:30 rolls around and I call to ask about my order. The girl on the phone comes back with a lame excuse that the problem with online orders is that it doesnt show how busy the store is on the inside. Understandable if I asked for a laminated booklet to be made. I only asked for two pictures. Then she proceeded to tell me that it would be done today for tomorrow morning. Ok but I asked for it for today not tomorrow. I asked her to just cancel the order and to give me my money back. She said she couldnt do that because I had to be in the store. I might as well pick up my photos then. So I said go ahead because if I have to go then its useless that Im talking to you right now. I was already angry about that, and then they had the nerve to call me at @6, when the store closed, to tell me that my order was ready 😒; but that I had to wait till tomorrow morning since they were now closed. Yes I know that! Goodbye I didnt want to talk to the kid because I was upset. My order was small, and I guess thats why they didnt care. Does not make it right because while a customer may not always be right, a customer should still be treated with respect, proper service, and a completed job on time. I dont know if they dont train them right there or they just dont care. They need to be careful because there are other Office Depot and cheaper print stores customers can go to, we dont have to go that specific one. If they drive us all away, then tough on them.

I had been to this Office Depot 10 days ago and posted my experience. I thought my post may have been a bit too harsh. After some time passed, I thought maybe It was again, just a one off thing, or I wasnt aware of the issues that possibly plagued the store that particular day. In short, I gave them another try at having 5 color copies made for me. I decided to come in-store early; maybe my previous visits were just bad timing on my part.At 8:21am, I signed in on the computer to get in the que for assistance. I recieved two texts to update me. 5, 10, almost 15 minutes pass as the lone employee helps the two people in front of me. I figured being so early, having two people to assist would be a fairly short wait; not so much. The person in charge of the store directed anyone who needed a register to check out to the same desk I was waiting in line for. After 15 minutes of waiting, and six more people in line now in front of me, I began to realize the overwhelmed lone assistant would be a while before he could give me any assistance, and I would likely never have his undivided attention for more than a moment or two.I left the store with my project in hand, just like I had arrived. The only difference was I was just as frustrated as in times past.As I had done in times before, I drove to the Fedex store in Mesquite just a few minutes down the road. As Im having my copies made, I receive a text telling me Im now 1st in line at the Office Depot in Garland. Ha! you MUST be kidding!I will never go to Office Depot on Centerville in Garland for anything service related. They do not have it in store.
Their printing service is a nightmare. The waiting time is always ridiculously long and their self service printers are always down. Also their Wi-fi doesnt work. At least theyre friendly. Management or the company need to do something to manage the wait time and to ensure their machines are working for self service.

They were able to handle my print job better than Staples. Though two times I went in their computers were shut down...
They have managed to mess up all three of my last print jobs.The first time, they emailed me to indicate my order was ready for pickup. But when I arrived at the store I was told it hadnt even been started! So I had to stand around and wait for my prints.The second time, I ordered business cards WITHOUT margins. Again, I received and email indicating the order was ready for pickup. But when I showed up the order hadnt been started and I was told it would be several hours before it was ready. When I came back later in the day to pick them up, they had been printed with margins.The third time, I submitted a very simple print job of only a few pages. A whole day after receiving an email that the order was ready for pickup, we went to the store and they couldnt even find the order in their system. By the time they finally found it they offered to print it on the spot, but because of time constraints we were unable to stand around waiting.This store is unable to produce orders on time or according to specifications, plus their print manager is rude and unapologetic when these error occur. I will not be using this Office Depot for printing anymore.

The worst experience I ever had the person in printing shop name Priscilla has no customer service skills at all she is so so so rud I cant express how bad she treats customers I come very often but this time It was very bad if I cant edit anything from the computer she should it told me nice not yelling in front of all customers saying I told you you cant edit anything on these computers are only for printing I just want to use word and make a little sign and get it laminated, I work in customer service for 20 years now these is not the way to treat customers at all.
