This place is absolutely awesome! The treats are amazingly good and the service is really good also. The place is really pretty and nicely decorated. Jailynn made some great recommendations! I got my dog doggy cakes and she loves them. I highly recommend this place. It’s amazing!

Loved Smallcakes and this location until today. I came in Friday about a cake that I needed by Monday for my daughters birthday. I gave them the design and everything in person and they said that the baker would give me a call on Saturday. Called on noon on Saturday and no one answered so I left a message.Hours passed by and I called again at 7pm and they said they would call the baker and check (even though they were already supposed to be doing that to begin with earlier today). They called me back about 5 mins later to tell me that they cant bake the cake because the baker wouldnt be in on Sunday.Why not tell me that Friday when I came in or even Saturday morning? Why wait until 7:30pm to tell me this? All of the bakerys are closed now at this time of the evening and now I have to find someone to make my daughters cake with a 24 hour notice which probably wont happen. I had my daughter design her own cake and now I have to disappoint my soon to be 8 year old over lack of communication.Extremely unfair because I thought of this place first before I went to or called anywhere else. I considered just getting her cupcakes from here as a back up on Monday but why give this place my business if they cant communicate in a timely manner?I even booked her birthday party right by this location so I could pick up her cake and go straight to the venue. Now I have to make alternate plans because of lack of communication. Had I not called on Saturday, I wouldnt of know anything because nobody called me to tell me anything. Why take down my design and name and phone number?****UPDATE: The owner reached out to me and apologized greatly. They are changing the way that they take bakery orders. I was able to book a last minute cake else where, however, Ill go with this bakery next time because of the fact that they reached out to me, cared, and made it right. 5 stars for them.

Don’t bother going to this Smallcakes location. I have had the WORST service with them and the manager doesn’t even care. I went up there a week or so ago and they had VERY few flavors available, so my family tried the coconut cream pie and the tres leches, both were not good. The coconut didn’t taste at all like coconut and tres leches just tasted like wet cinnamon. Then I went up there yesterday and the staff was very rude. And when my family got home to try the chocolate cream one and the hot fudge sundae NEITHER of them had the fillings inside like they were supposed to. I called to tell the manager and the person that answered the phone was rude, and I heard the manager say she was to busy to come to the phone and wouldn’t take the call. I have not had such bad service and defective products (especially with a manager that doesn’t care) than I have at this place. If you really want a cupcake, find a different location. Customer service used to mean something. When did managers stop wanting to know how their business is doing, especially when their products are not right. Just save your money.

Today I went to this place for the first time and I am really fascinated with the butter cookie cup cake it is very good actually they are all good, also they have a sweet woman who attends with a lot of patience and love I really fell in love with everything about this place Andrea is called that sweet woman, I will eat there again and see that sweet young lady ❤️🥰

We stop by Smallcakes every now and then for treats for my boys! We stopped by today to get a dozen cupcakes for a birthday celebration. You get a little bit of a discount when getting a dozen. You can mix and match any flavor, which is nice option. I thought the cupcakes were delicious! They had a nice amount of icing, which is my favorite part so I liked having the generous portion. The atmosphere is pretty cute and I like the hot pink packaging. My only complaint is that they will not give you a cup of water — have to buy a bottle of water.

These are the BEST cupcakes Ive ever eaten! My favorite is the Red Velvet- so good! I ordered through Ubereats and they were extremely well packed in a nice box and the box placed inside a sealed bag. The cupcakes AT THIS LOCATION are bigger than your average cup cake, fresh, beautiful and delicious! For Mothers Day, I shopped in person at a different location- I was quite disappointed. All Smallcakes Cupcakery cakes are not created equal. I highly recommend this location!

Best cupcakes in Dallas. Great place for kids as there is a small table for them to sit at and plenty of child seats. The staff here is always so friendly and attentive to you even after youve made your purchase.They have some of the best ice cream around as well.

(February) Theres no baby inside, but the perfectly fluffy cupcake has a hint of cinnamon and a crunch from the Mardi Gras colored sugar that tops the butercream frosting!. 🧁 Be sure to call ahead. I recommend calling a day ahead if you want 6 or more of your favs, cause they do sell out. I was happily surprised they had not sold out of the King Cupcake the afternoon I visited.

We ordered the lemon drop, carrot cake, German chocolate, wedding cake & 2 of the peanut butter cup ones and omg they were delicious. These are probably the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. I loved how they were packaged and sealed for delivery. Top notch service! We’ve already made a list of cupcakes to try next time we order!!

I was in the Garland area running errands. I live in the Frisco/Plano area. I walked in but didnt notice they werent taking cash. So the young lady tells me as Im about to check-out that they were accepting cards. I told her I didnt have my card (I was in the area at my credit union getting a new card ). I asked them to call the manager (Ann ?). She told me the same thing.. here is my point..1) A customer drives 15-22 miles to support a small business in this economy.2) As I told the manager, You are in customer service.. This cant be figured out ???That wasnt something they could do.... Heres the kickerI drove back to the Frisco location.... guess what ?With no problem....TOOK MY CASH !Apparently, this location doesnt need your business or cash.

These cupcakes are average—not bad, but definitely not incredible. I wouldnt waste any more money on these cupcakes when I could make something of the same quality at home, but my friend and I were interested to see what the hype was about. The are extremely sweet and there is just too much frosting in proportion to the cake. Also, the ice cream is a strange texture and not at all worth the purchase. I literally bent my plastic spoons in half while trying to scoop the ice cream from the cup to my mouth.

The place is very beautiful very good cup cakes but the attention is not very good in particular a very bad looking and very rude girl, they should better choose their employees the place and its products really excellent 😭

I was charged for 4 cupcakes and only got 2....and I wasnt offered a receipt I honestly think that the cashier was being dishonest and...trying to pocket money I have yet to receive a call in regards to this matter this happened 8/14/2021.

I have been letting Smallcakes do my kids Cupcakes, for their birthdays for the past 3 years. And I recently had them do a birthday cake for one of my daughters. And as always they never disappoint me. The cake was so pretty and it tasted delicious. For now on I’m doing cupcakes, and cake for birthdays. I really hate giving this place 1 star, at one time, it was a fun happy place to go, but no more. I was spoken to very rudely and they questioned if I actually had a medical condition with a rude tone refusing me service. They are NON ADA COMPLIANT and that is extremely unfortunate. For the record, my tone was completely civil even after I was asked about my medical condition, which is ALSO a violation BTW, so it is very disheartening that I can no longer recommend this place. As a side note, it is probably a good thing since having high blood sugar can complicate C19 issues and it should only be an occasional treat. Regardless I am not overweight so that was not the issue, just an FYI. Take care everyone

Some of the best cupcakes I have ever tasted! This store bakes them on-site fresh and Ive never had a better tasting treat. I take them to work to share and everyone asks where they came from, they want more.The service is friendly and the pricing is fair - especially if you join the rewards program. I get free cupcakes and notices for specials that I have taken advantage of recently. They also have pup cakes and my dog loves them as a treat.Smallcakes has won my heart. 💓

We purchased our wedding cake from Smallcakes and it was the best decision! The cake was incredible! We took it with us on a long car ride to our private reception and it held up perfectly for the 3 hours it took to get there! Delicious!

Ive got to say I love this place. Ive made it a personal mission of mine to try as many cupcakes as I can before I inevitably get diabetes from so much sugary goodness. We had excellent help today which prompted me to write this long awaited review. Whoever was on the shift whenever we went inside was polite and helpful. She prepared our order with speed and dexterity. I absolutely love this shop and recommend it to any person in the area. You will not be dissapointed!

Lovely jumbo cupcakes. Nice and moist crumb with nice buttercream that does not crust and isn’t super super sweet. Sometimes you don’t want to bake cupcakes for yourself cause who bakes for the baker right? I bake cupcakes myself and am super picky. Loved them.

My husband took me to Smallcakes to get some cupcakes and they were delicious!! They have about 13 flavors that they bake daily. They also do 2 signature flavors as well! Like Cookie Butter Cheesecake! 😋I havent tried that one yet, but I really would love to! I will definitely be going back! This is my new favorite place! It smelled yummy inside and the staff was friendly as well.

Cute little shop! I tried the Vanilla N Chocolate cupcake and a scoop of the cookies and cream ice cream. The cupcake was delicious, not too sweet like most places, and the ice cream was amazing! It was super flavorful and smooth! Theres enough seating for 10 people, with a little table for kids to play. Will definitely be coming back to try their other flavors!

These cupcakes trump sprinkles! I used to love sprinkles, then I found Gigis cupcakes which are also amazing but then I discovered this place and this is my new favorite. Their cupcakes are so moist and not even super sweet, they have a variety of flavors and the staff is very sweet. They also have cake jars and brownies in a cupcake tin which are also soft and moist. I come here often and they are great gifts for birthdays!

My handicapped son received a Smallcakes gift card recently. He was so excited to use it! We were NOT able to use it at this location because it isnt good here??Apparently we need to go about 15 miles out if our way for him to use his gift card.Why this barrier for your customers? Dont tell me its because each location is individually owned, because there is easy tech that can address that.I left disappointed and will likely not return, no matter how good the cupcakes are - you have competitors who will accept my business.

Very average cupcakes. Nothing special. In fact the last time we purchased we bought 4 cup cakes and they were all stale. This tells me they reuse baked goods from the days prior, which may be okay in accordance of the food guidelines, but when its $4 a cupcake you should at least be able to enjoy it, and it should not remind you of eating toast because of how stale they are.$1.50 is about all they are worth. Just my opinion.

Cupcakes made fresh daily with a bunch of options! Ice cream is made in house. After trying some I can never go back to regular icecream. Highly recommend.

The cupcakes are pretty decent. The cake is nice and fluffy but the amount of frosting is insane. I took the cupcake out of the wrapper and set it back down on a plate and the cupcake literally fell over from the weight of the frosting. It tastes good but the amount of frosting is overwhelming.

Great service, good cupcakes...light airy and though the frosting seems a lot its whipped so its light and airy and not over powering. The homemade icecream is a great pairing. Very good. And my dog LOVES the pupcakes too!!

I went to the stand they had at the car show in Paris Texas and it was amazing I got a chocolate cupcake that looked like the hostes cup cakes and it was great 1000/10 would go again if it wasnt so far away

I hate to giving this Smallcakes a low rating. Ive been to 3 stores, 1 of them in Houston. I was more than impressed with the flavor & freshness from the other stores. Sadly not this Garland store. Whenever my husb & I go, I get 3 cupcakes & he gets 1. We spend good $$ here. We went rt after lunch, a couple wkends ago, so the cupcakes should still have been fresh. The young lady who helped up was very nice & easygoing. There were lots to pick from. I got 2 Wedding cake, my ultra favorite, tried the Pink Chocolate (new) & husb got Chocolate one that looks like the real cupcake in the package. He barely had any filling, all our cake was dry and over baked. Both Chocolate cakes didnt taste like Chocolate, tasted ...weird. my Pink icing tasted like pink dye. We trashed his & my chocolate ones. My Wedding cake ones didnt taste like Almond cake like they should have, so the only thing going for it was the good icing. Ate 1 trashed the other. Maybe it was just a bad day. But when you get awesomely baked, 100% great flavor at 2 other stores, in & out of Dallas it makes me not want to go back. And it makes me picky.
