Wow!! What a great experience working with this company! Great prices with no long hold times with a big box store. I especially enjoyed how all they needed to know to quote was the fence type and number of panels and they emailed a quote for brackets and all in just a few minutes! Beautiful Cedar! After I finished my fence, they processed my unaltered supplies for a return refund!!! I highly recommend this company.

Not impressed, arrived with trailer ready to purchase fencing material. Doors locked due to Covid I guess, all communication by telephone. I wouldn’t say they were rude but would say they were ready to go home and could care less if I spent my $6k there or not. I will personally will spend my money elsewhere even if it cost more.

Dallas Cedar had everything I needed to build a new patio railing, and better prices than the big box stores. They were very helpful - great customer service.

I had a great experience with Dallas Cedar Company. First, they had the lumber I needed in stock where other big box stores did not (even dedicated lumber yards required special order). Blanca was extremely responsive and, within minutes of my request, provided a written quote that was half the price of the big box special order. I paid online and picked it up a few hours later. Very pleased with this experience.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! They overloaded my trailer and truck allowing for the potential of an accident. It took a little while to get all the supplies that I purchased fully built and it turned out looking like i want but I xame up short on just the planks for 300 ft. Leaving a 20 ft gap where there are more than enough rails and posts just not planks. So, I try to call them for just the 20 ft of planks to finish this fence and am informed that they cant sell me just the planks. I have to buy more rails, posts, concrete, and planks. Just one headache after another with this company. Waste of time and left me short on supplies.

I ordered just enough lumber to make a planter and they provided amazing customer service to me even though I wasn’t buying a lot of material. Summer was very nice to work with on the phone and when I arrived. Prices are great and so are the people. I highly recommend!

Very unorganized and unprofessional staff from Blanca at the front desk to Enrique the guy who loads the material. I placed my order a day in advance and when I got there to pick it up they didnt have anything ready Also I was the first one there and was the last one loaded. Clearly they have there favorite customers. I paid cash for my products and was told that cash the lady who accepts cash wasnt there so I had to wait but never stated if I paid credit it would be faster. Ive never heard of such a thing. Heres the topper they didnt have everything I needed I had to go look for it at Home Depot. 🙄Overall experience Im not a satisfied customer and will not return.

OK company. Front desk was good and answered all questions. Sent out damaged lumber. Had to request replacement. They need to send quality lumber in the first place. For one of the large lumber, they delayed replacement, which affected my construction. Finally they wanted to give a $75 discount, but it did never showed up on my account. Will order elsewhere.

Product is good if you are selective on the lumber and dont mind returning damaged pieces. However, if you call them, do not ever expect that they will call you back. Ive probably had promises to call me back 10 or more times and never once received a callback from the office staff. Other reviewer on had similar experiences. They are setup for one-time phone transactions or walk-ins, but do not actively manage customers beyond the moment.

Cedar fence gave me a great deal on my cedar fence. And they helped me by recommending a fence install company. I liked that they were easy to work with.

The customer service was absolutely atrocious! I was working with a salesperson named Summer Rogers who always seemed too busy to answer my questions and follow through with her promises. Never once did she return my calls or emails despite her promises to do so. While their prices seemed reasonable, the poor customer service was enough to shed doubt on the entire business ability to deliver a quality product.Buyer beware!

Ladies up front were helpful and nice. The board I ordered came in split but we were able to work out a solution.

Went in to buy some fencing posts and check out their other selections. They dont have the lowest prices on wood panels, but their quality is better. Their posts were much lower price than the big box stores. This place CAN get busy as they only have 2 salespeople, but they will take care of you!

Great Cedar Lumber Supplier. Summer who runs the front end sales is very knowledgeable about wood. She was very quick to give us a complete and detailed estimate on our outdoor roof project. We continue to buy from them because they price match, super friendly, knowledgable and provide great service overall. I highly recommend this wood supplier to anyone from the DIY or professional builder. The only thing I wish they would do is provide me free delivery on orders above $1000 or $1500 for example.

How are there numerous 5-star reviews saying this is the best company with the best product/people while others say everyone is rude, unresponsive and has terrible customer service? Must be more about individual sales people versus the company as a whole?

Blanca was helpful. They had sizes of cedar beams that the cedar lumberyard in Carrollton did not have. Their prices were cheaper than Carrollton. Will buy from them again.

Just didnt seem to have any help in the lumber yard area. Almost like they try to avoid asking if you need any help. Headed up the street 4 miles to Ivey Lumber and its a totally different world. Help with straight boards covered from the elements. All of which this place didnt have.

Chances are they dont have what you need, they only carry the most basic stuff, if you need a 4x6 or bigger, you need to pay them first and then go to pick it up at another company (they are only resellers) more than a mile away. Service is also terrible.I tried this place because is closer to my home in garland, but i will never go back. I highly recomend cedar supply in carrollton for any cedar wood.

They are THE BEST, it can get busy and it sometimes takes a while to get orders filled but the prices and wood cant be beat

Dallas Cedar will not accept my payment by credit card solely because I am a new customer. They demanded I fax them my drivers license and they demanded I drive over there and pay them in person. I filled out, scanned, and emailed them their credit card form, then called to speak to the owner, but they still told me they refuse to take my payment from my credit card unless their demands are met. Avoid this company; they do not like new customers; they do not realize this is the 21st century.

Very rude and unprofessional management and staff!!!! We stepped in their door today in an attempt of purchasing our fencing, one of the ladies selling the supplies suggested buying all our panels today stating that by next week they may not have the total count; once we reach the register and pay for the total count of fencing with a credit card, they state that they only have FOUR (4) panels!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!! Why would you have someone buy something, advising them that you have the full count in stock and then come out saying you can take FOUR panels today! What am I going to do with 4 panels today?!?!? I would have so walked out of their establishment if they had told me that they did not have what I was looking for. Not only that, but when I told them that I was not looking for a thicker fence, one of the staff members stated that I was, trying to go cheap!!!! Ummm, I dont know about you but duh! Not everyone is blessed with tons of money to spend on an entire backyard of wood fencing, 2+ dollars per panel adds up!

They will try to pad your bill with extra stuff, they might forget to add stuff you need and they will probably cost you time.

Order was all together when I was told it was ready to pick up. And some of the boards were less than par for projects.
