Found myself in the middle of nowhere at lunch time and found this place. Prices a little steep $20 for burger and fries but the food was so good. Burger was fresh and just the kind of thing you would expect to find in a place like this. Super small space and busy because the food is good.

I have never had bad food from Andice General Store. They have the best burgers around. Everything is so fresh and cooked to order. The people there are over the top friendly. Their selection of old-fashioned sodas and treats really take me back. Their homemade jams and relishes are absolutely fantastic. Its worth the trip!

This is a totally charming small watering hole out in the hill country west of Georgetown Texas. They offer a wide variety of beverages, including several beers on tap, bottled beers of all sorts, and a variety of boutique soft drinks as well. If you are looking for delicious food, they offer up some of the best burgers around! And many other tasty dishes... Which you can enjoy indoors or out on their pleasant patio. Finally, out back is some open space for running a dog or whatever else might suit your fancy.

I always enjoy when a bike ride brings us here. Hot french fries hit the spot today. I also had a nice cold bottle of Coca-Cola from south of the border. One of my riding companions enjoyed a delicious hamburger.

I had a delicious 1/2 pound cheese burger. Unique awesome historical locally owned general store and cafe. Picnic tables inside and out. Friendly fast service even with a crowd.

I loved this little out of the way place. My cheeseburger was delicious, and big. The onion rings were the best, greasy and full of flavor, large order so we shared..perfect! Definitely homemade and not frozen. Will definitely be back!

A destination road trip, all for a 🍔 burger, a 🥓bacon, 🧀 cheese, jalapeño burger. It was well worth the drive; it did not disappoint; it was juicy, thick, and full of taste. The burger was served with paper towels to wipe the juice of the great, excellent burger.The building was a small circa 1937 general store. No one wore masks in a COVID world, and state. Frightening! Food to 🚶go.

Id give this place a 5-star, but they messed up on my order. However, the food is legit. Good place to stop if you are in the area. I made a special trip to come here for lunch from Georgetown.Try the green chili cheeseburger. Good heat but not overbearing. Its made with real #hatch green chili. Im glad because its a New Mexico flavor that makes me come back here. I definitely recommend this place.

Great hamburgers and friendly service!Because I didnt want a bun, they served mine between lots of crisp lettuce leaves with large tomato and red onion slices and pickles. I also enjoyed a side of onion rings. My husband and brother-in-law enjoyed their burgers with fries.Portions were more than ample. While the guys were able to finish their Texas-sized portions, I took home half my burger and onion rings. Great value and excellent food! Love this place for casual dining at its best.

Stopped by for an award winning hamburger after returning from Killeen to get our COVID vaccinations. Ive heard nothing but great things about the burgers here. Its a destination in its own cause theres nothing else close by. My wife and I split a hatch green chile cheeseburger and a bacon cheeseburger along with an order of fries. Both burgers were home runs. The meat was seasoned just right, juicy and not overcooked. Loads of bacon and tons of flavor. The hatch burger was equally delicious with a nice bite of heat. The veggies (tomatoes, lettuce, onions) were fresh, crisp and topped off both burgers perfectly. Im glad we split the fries...it was plenty for both of us. After our lunch I too join the chorus of those who praise the burgers here. Its a little pricey but worth a trip to treat yourself to a good old tasty hamburger 🍔. Id bet the other menu items are pretty good too but may never even try them.

This was a hidden gem. Their burgers are amazing gly delicious, full of flavor, and draw a crowd from near and far alike. Their signature green chile burger was everything I heard about and then some! You will not be disappointed by anything you order.

Its inconvenient. Its expensive. And its heavily hyped.You know what? Its completely worth it. Just like theres destination BBQ thats worth the drive, this is the destination burger thats worth the drive. Theres a ton of reasons why. First of all, the people are nice and willing to customize your burger any way you want. Second, the place is spotlessly clean. (And the air conditioning is more than a bit crisp.) But the burgers approach perfection. The burger is a bit bigger than a Whataburger, but with a much more substantial serving of beef. The cheese and bacon are also good. The burgers are cooked to perfection and are seasoned as well. The fries are surprisingly good -- and crisp. And the beer battered onion rings manage to defy the laws of onion rings -- because the batter and the onion stay together.They have iced tea to drink and a cooler with plenty of soft drinks. Bottled and draft beers too. And in keeping with the general store motif, they still sell a few packaged chips and cookies as well as a cooler with ice cream products. As far as the general store side, think more like the selection of items at Rudys and much less like a 7-11.If you need a quick road trip, go here and get a burger.

The best hamburgers within 100 miles. Expensive but they will vut the burger in half and I guarantee 1,/2 of their burger is a big meal. French fries and onion rings are great. Hamburger and onion rings run about $14. They have sodas and beer. Its a great place to dine in comfort and the people are as nice as can be.

Its been years since I visited the General Store (used to live just a few miles away), but a recent sprucing-up and good word-of-mouth advertising convinced me and a friend to make the short drive to check it out. Theyve added a rustic new facade and a lovely covered outdoor dining area. Theres a large cooler inside with a wonderful selection of beverages, and several beers on tap (I highly recommend the Bill Pickett Porter, named after a local boy who made it big as a rodeo and Wild West Show performer and even acted a bit, and has been inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame).While their green chile burger is the current showpiece, we opted for milder selections - I got the bacon cheeseburger and my friend chose the pulled pork sandwich and we shared onion rings - and it was all great. It was delightful to sit outside as dusk fell, enjoying good conversation and terrific Texas comfort food, then watching the sun sink behind the huge trees that surround the place.We both picked up a jar of their specialty jams - looking forward to trying the yummy-sounding Cinnamon Pear Jam soon. All in all, a very pleasant experience that I plan to have again in the very near future. Someday, I might take a chance on that green chile burger --

First time we wave been since Covid/Flu started and was great just like B4! Hometown atmosphere, clean inside and the food was delicious. I had the Bacon/Cheeseburger and split the French fries. Reminds me of how my Gramma used to make hamburgers. Dont let this place get missed.

Burgers are so big and juicy. These burgers are big enough to share. The fries and onion rings do not disappoint. They are crinkle fries crisy on the outside and tender on the inside. Love the welcoming atmosphere.

D E L I C I O U S is all I have to say! The Green Chili Cheeseburger was easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time and my husband loved the bacon cheeseburger. They were perfectly cooked and oozing goodness...not grease!! We’re so happy that this is only 15 mins from our home - we will definitely be frequenting this spot regularly! (No photos because we munched too fast 😂)

O my god, the best burger Ive had in my life. Perfect for lunch after spending our morning at Tonys Shooting Range. The burger just melts in your mouth, I had the Jalapeno Burger, others had the cheeseburger, my daughter had a burger & my uncle had a BLT, all excellent. Spotlessly clean with a old fashioned store front, loved it & would recommend to anyone. They had root beer on tap, I had the cherry soda & all good. Very cheaply priced too. Go here, you wont regret it.

I paid $25 for a double cheese burger and it was horrible. The meat was burnt and extremely dry. When I tried to talk to the manager about it he started verbally criticizing me telling me the burger was fine that they make hundreds a day. I wasnt asking for a refund however he did give me my money back. I was trying to make him aware that maybe the grill was to hot and trying to help him prevent other customers from being unsatisfied. He was very rude and unprofessional. When I asked his name he refused to give it to me. I will never go back or recommend this establishment.

After seeing Andice General Store on an episode of The Daytripper and desiring a much needed excursion out of the house, my wife and I took a quick trip to Andice for lunch. She ordered the bacon cheeseburger with frys and I had the green chili cheeseburger with onion rings. Everything was very fresh and the food was hot. We both left absolutely satisfied and stuffed. Drinks were separate, but they have a wide variety of beer and soda including several beers on tap. Well worth the trip for lunch.

Refused to wait on us because we wouldnt put a mask on! Wouldnt eat there if it was free! I spent more time in mask discourse than it would have taken to get my order. 2 of your regular customers came out and gave us a thumbs up. This place really does have the best burgers. I’ve been to the top 50 bets burger joints in Texas and this one should be #1 or atleast in the top 3. Thick high quality bacon and beef. Huge portions, couldn’t finish a whole burger plus fries in one sitting... They had some unique pop and beer choices. 100% will be returning, keep it up guys.

All of the food is great! They have the best onion rings and ask for the fries well done if you like them crispy! The draft rootbeer is really good! I just wished that had some vanilla ice cream to make rootbeer floats.

Drove out from Georgetown to see what all the good reviews were about. Well I was not disappointed. Very good burger and my husband really like the pulled pork sandwich. Fries we shared due to huge portion. Raquel was very friendly and hospitable. We very much enjoyed our visit and will return. Stop here if you are ever close by.

This is a real burger spot. I got a bacon cheeseburger and everything was fresh. Juicy tomatoes, crisp onions, great lettuce, and thick bacon. The patty is nice and thick like a rappers side chick.Simple in construction and not overly fancy like places in Austin.Definitely going again.
