Unique and fun place to get away from the heat of the day! Pictured is one of the September specials, Neapolatin Sundae, and the Greetings from Georgetown. It was difficult to decide what to get because of all the great choices! They also jam-pack the ice cream into the pint jar so you have plenty and probably enough to share. They also have an area with sinks and bags to clean your jars out to take them home without having to worry about a mess. Im looking forward to my next visit and have already started a list of which ones Im going to try!! Staff was super friendly as well and patient with the kids despite being as busy as they were and the tons of questions being asked. It was a great experience.

Unique, specialty milkshakes! I know a few people stated that theyre pricey ($15 for a specialty milkshake), but I think its reasonable considering you can keep the jar it comes in. Theres a neat little area designated for you to go and rinse your jar off and grab a baggie to take it home with you! $4/scoop of ice cream I feel is a bit pricey, but mehhh to me its a special occasion rather than an everyday ice cream/milkshake spot, and they definitely offer more than your regular, average place would... Definitely worthwhile to go to. Service is quick and everyone is super friendly and helpful!!

Amazing ice cream combinations. The menu is pretty wild. You get to keep the jar they serve it in. They even have a jar wash station so you can clean it before leaving.

Great service and great milkshakes. They handled my sons peanut allergy by preparing his Sunday separate from the other shakes to make sure there was no cross contamination. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent little place right off the beaten path. First impressions are always important so start with selection, a huge variety to choose from. Service, staff was very accommodating, and patient, even for an indecisive old butt like me. Cleanliness, they were constantly cleaning and checked on patrons several times . Now taste, Ill just say you will not be disappointed - overall great visit.

I gained 3 pounds after I gorged on this “milkshake” because I ate it in one sitting. It’s tough to get into the actually ice cream blend in the jar without removing the toppings but let me tell you that once you earn it by devouring all the toppings, the shake itself is incredible. MSG maybe? No, I think it’s just The Yard standard treatment. I’ll be reviewing the workout class next door later.... Recommended!!

Milkshakes were delicious! Would give 5 stars but the shake was much smaller than expected and carried a $15 price. Worth an occasional visit.

It was a great experience. A shake like nothing i have ever had. Delicious and you get to keep the Mason jar. A little pricey but they have a large menu.

This place was worth every penny. We judged hard like who can eat that whole thing!? Lol ME/US we ate it all. You get to keep the Mason jar and theres a washing station so you can take it home nice and clean.

Unique ice cream creations, that are absolutely amazing in taste and to gaze upon. A fun place to take the family or have a nice date at. I ordered the specialty half-pint bowl Doughnut Touch My Coffee and Cream. Not only was it delectable until the last bite, but there was also plenty of it! I was pleasantly surprised by the size of my order. I will definitely be going back!

Noah was the MOST attentive server. The ice cream creations are sinfully delicious! Patient staff wait for you to decide from the many choices. There are several no dairy options that look yummy but we didn’t have anyone in our party order to taste.The souvenir mason jars are so cute and will come in handy for reminiscing over cold drinks ad home. We enjoyed the outdoor eating area with appropriate social distancing space. Noah offered hand sanitizer fo everyone upon arrival and all staff correctly wore face masks.There is a washing station to clean your mason jar to caddy home. There is a gender neutral bathroom with one commode. Definitely a cute family friendly environment.

I bought my little girls here for dessert. When we were ready to eat our ice cream my daughters cup fell and one of the workers dove and caught it!! It was amazing! I didnt catch her name but I thought it was awesome that she did that. We loved the flavors and enjoyed every bite.

Treats are delish but WAY TOO expensive for my taste. You essentially pay $16 for a bunch of sugar smashed all together in a nice Mason jar. My wife loves this place, though. Me? Id rather get 3 treats for that price at a nearby Andys Frozen Custard. Bright side is you get to keep the jar.

An experience. I have a lot more exploring to do but the cosmic brownie shake was a great start and they let you keep the glass so you can get a little collection going.

I wanted to love this novelty place so much but $21 for two standard milkshakes left us less than impressed.

The girl was really nice when we got in the store. She asked if wed been here before. And when she said no she explained the menu. She then told us about there secret menu also! Guess its not so secret anymore!she told me I had chosen the most popular choice which is the unicorn sundae! There are all sizes if you dont want so much ice cream then ask for it in the cup instead of a jar! (You get to keep the jar also! They have bags, and a spoon despenser so you are the only one touching the spoon! They have inside and outside seating currently! Masks are required for employees and customers!The sundae has cotton candy ice cream, cotton candy on top an ice cream cone on top that is in either chocolate or icing. I couldnt tell. Marshmallow coating with sprinkles and colored whipped cream! Im sad I got all the way home and then dropped my glass jar 😭🙂 but it was all good!

Very friendly staff. Wonderful outdoor seating. So many wonderful ice cream options. Really a great experience overall and a go-to place. Only downside was they have no warm running water. The class cleaning trough station is a fabulous idea but washing peanut butter with cold water just doesn not work!

We found this place on facebook, my boyfriend and I came and fell in love with the place!. Location is clean, ice cream is delicious and staff is always friendly. We always take our friends and family who visit from out of town to the Georgetown location. They all have love it as well.

Was so excited to try they look amazing but they’re not. It was pretty looking and the toppings were good but it’s probably the least flavorful milkshake I’ve ever had. And it’s expensive. I was highly disappointed.

Awesome I would get a shake here again I got the smores the flavor was perfect so creamy and spot on. This is a sweet tooth lovers dream but not overpowering sweetness surprisingly...I was worried it would take a long time after reading reviews for the domain but I live equally between that location and georgetown so opted to drive here instead. It took less than 10 mins total with 2 parties ahead of me. Worth the price for a creamy visually appealing and tasty treat!

The ice cream is exceptional with some pretty odd flavors that actually are quite good. Theres even something for the vegan in the family!

The sundaes we got were absolutely delicious but my son and I both got food poisoning from eating there on Monday. The customer service wasn’t the best either…they were short and not very talkative.

We were there on a Thursday night, everything was great. Store was EXTREMELY clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Our ice cream treats ran the gamut from a single scoop to an extravagant milkshake in a souvenir jar. Everything we ordered was delicious - I have a new fave ice cream place.

The coconut ice cream is GOOD! Quick service, fun atmosphere. Great place to go after dinner or an afternoon treat. Tons of options.

The Yard Milkshake Bar in Georgetown is amazing! The ice cream and milkshakes are so great and there are so many different options. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. If you have never been to The Yard before I highly recommend paying it a visit. You wont be disappointed.

It was a great place! We went on a Saturday for the first time and it was a nice experience. Noah especially treated us excellently and was very attentive. We ate the $15 specialty jar and loved it! We were able to wash the jars in a special sink and take them afterwards as souvenirs. The staff was diligent and the service was quick and good. I would definitely go again to try out different flavors! 😋

My family visited “The Yard” in Georgetown. The staff was amazing, and the restaurant looked great, clean, and well designed. It was suggested by one of the staff to scan the QRC code on the bar to get to the Secret Menu. From the Secret Menu, I ordered the Cookie Butter Waffle Sundae. I was very pleased with my eyes as the artistic abilities to present the product was outstanding by the staff. Taste lacked A LOT, looks were deceiving. About three quarters of the sundae was whipped cream. The ice cream lacked a lot in flavor, HEBs brand of ice cream tastes better. The ice cream is not even made on site. It is from a company called Hershey. Though it was a fun new place to try, the experience and flavor for two $10 sundaes and two $4 “Calf Cups”, left a lot to be desired. We will stick to our Amy’s Ice Creams, Austin Scoops, or Andy’s Custard shacks.

They have seriously OMG shakes. They are a must try these, so good. Bring friends the shakes are large and great for sharing.

My girls (7 and 8) split a $15 Unicorn Milkshake and said it was disgusting. They ate the toppings but hated the cotton candy ice cream (their usual go-to at Baskin Robbins) and so 95% of the actual shake went untouched. The brownie batter ice cream is a distant second to Ben & Jerry’s. The key lime was good albeit sweet. The ice cream is delivered by Sysco so nothing unique or special about it. I much prefer locally owned & operated Lick ice cream which is made in Austin or Jeni’s Splendid out of Ohio. This place is kind of like Voodoo Donuts where everything is so over the top that none of it actually tastes good and you’d have been way happier with Dunkin’ or Round Rock Donuts. Went once, won’t go again. Service was quick and staff were friendly and actively cleaning so 2 stars for that.
