Back in August I had bought a couple of plants here because the prices were so good. I had never had a mealy bug infestation in my outdoor garden prior to buying the plants from Walmart. It is now November and my outdoor garden is covered in mealybugs. I have tried everything I can to safely remove them without endangering the bees, but now I have lost many of my plants, had to throw out quite a few of my planters because the infestation would not go away even when washing with soap and water, or spraying the planters with neem oil.I went back a month later to visit all of the places where I bought my plants to see if they had a mealybug infestation and the only place I could find with mealybugs was at Walmart at the Georgetown location. I bought $10 worth of plants and have ended up spending/losing hundreds of dollars to remove the mealybugs and still I have not had any success getting rid of them entirely. Just because you find a cheap price on plants doesnt mean it doesnt come at a consequence.
