Scott at Bike Masters is the best! This is the most helpful, friendly bike shop I’ve ever been to. Scott took great care of us, called around for the right part while we were there and found it that same day. Scott was fair and honest and his staff member was super helpful too. Great shop that I will definitely come back to!

I came into Bike Masters today looking for a part for my mountain bike! We were greeted by a friendly employee who gave us the BEST customer service. Soon the manager, Scott, came to help as well. They called other shops and friends to try to locate the part for us. It is a part that is out of stock and difficult to find. We decided to leave the bike overnight. Before we even returned home, we got a phone call from Scott letting us know that he had found the part and it was ready for pick up! It is hard to find this kind of service anymore! Thanks to both of the awesome employees who helped us at Bike Masters (San Tan Village). I highly recommend them!

I bought bikes for my entire family at Bike Masters. Spent 1,000s of dollars on some great Specialized bikes that we really like. A great selling point at the time was that Bike Masters offered free lifetime tuneups. Perhaps they we’re trying to compete with Global Bikes who offers the same.Well, that has changed. No more free tuneups. I typically bring the bikes in 1-2 times per year; but, this year, I was told that they don’t give free tuneups anymore. Instead, it’s more of a Safety Check. That’s weird because, when I bought the bikes, it said lifetime tuneups. I think they called it a Basic Tuneup back then, which is more like their Sport Tuneup today. Perhaps their policy has changed, but the agreement when I bought our bikes was a lifetime of tuneupsNot a happy customer.

Scott made it such a great experience for me and my son. His knowledge and expertise made picking a bike so much easier than I thought it would be. Thank you Scott! Keep up the great work!

This shop has the full package of high end bikes and retail, mid ranged and entry level... you can basically get the same level of attention asking for a 10$ tube change as you do trying to buy a 7k$ bike. Thats exactly the way it should be and that is exactly the way that it is at this shop.

Scott’s the man when you’re actually trying to find something that fits you. His attention to the little details I wanted in an ebike we’re pretty particular. He pointed me in the direction of an awesome mid drive set up that I love!

Great shop! Quick turn around for getting my bike service, Max and Scott really tried hard to make me feel at home and really understand what was need on my bike. They did an amazing job made my bike look brand new!!! They don’t pressure you like those guys at global bikes or archers bikes very friendly and trustworthy shop. I tried to put 10 stars but it wouldn’t let me so I guess it will be at 5 stars! Will definitely be going back in the future.

Took my Rat Rod Electra in for a much needed tuneup and new inner tubes this morning. Was told would have tomorrow. They got it done same day and it rides and looks like brand new! Scott the manager took care of me. Highly recommend this shop and the price was on point!!

Our favorite bike shop because they legitimately want to help you get into the right bike and your right price point. Weve purchased two Specialized Rockhoppers from here, as well as a Giant XTC from the Mesa store. They care and expertise they have on bikes is incredibly helpful and the in store tune-ups make the bikes last. Its worth supporting local and visiting frequently for tune ups.

I took 2 bikes here, each with their own problems:) This place was so fast!!! I ended up getting a call later the same day that both my bikes were done! I thought it would take weeks without my bikes. But seriously super fast service here and easy access right from the curb:)

Came in with my whole family fully prepared to purchase nicer bikes for everyone, walked around for a bit and not a single person greeted us or asked if we needed help, there was no one around to even ask for any assistance! It wasn’t very busy at all there were other customers walking around as well and it seemed the employees were “hiding” in the back. No happy at all! I am going to buy bikes somewhere else!

Bought some new pedals from them and they were nice

I went in to look for an E bike which they had a couple in stock with such high demand for E bikes I was very impressed! Came very close to buying a giant trance 29+ when Scott talked to me about the specialized levo, which I had just purchased one for my wife in July and was very impressed with but they did not have any in stock. They had a demo bike there that they rent out and after speaking with Scott he contacted the owner and went to bat for me and I was able to purchase their demo bike! Top of the tier knowledge and performance with follow through on getting me dialed in on a bike to fit my size and frame!Highly recommend this location and the location on power and the 60 because I had started there but they did not have a Large Bike in their store so I went over to this Santan location. Both locations were extremely knowledgeable and helpful!

I was building a custom mountian bike Zack and his staff were very helpful ensuring that I got the right parts. They also helped me build the bike at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them for all your bike needs.

Dan was very helpful, but so were the other staff. Ive been looking for a specific type of bike and Ive gone to the multiple bike shops over the past couple weeks. This bike shop has repeatedly been the most helpful. Another important thing I found is that when I test ride their bikes they are all well built and shift correctly. Unfortunately some of the other bike shops around are not very helpful, nice or accurate in getting information when you call. I love this location, as well as the Queen Creek Bikes Direct which is also great, just smaller. Same company.

Absolutely spot on. I had ideas for a unique amazing gravel bike, and John & Scott made it happen. When talking with John I told him my dream and he kind of shook his head at first and then got super charged up about the project and came up with great recommendations of changes and upgrades to the bike to make it my dream. He did an awesome conversion, to the ultimate gravel bike. I wanted a full suspension gravel bike and they took the Specialized Stumpjumper put drop bars, shifters, narrower tires, cogset, chainring....... The bike is the most comfortable road, MTB and hybrid I have ever ridden. It will go anywhere. I love riding it at every chance I get. And if that wasnt enough, when they ran into an unexpected delay, and I had to leave town (full time Rvers,) instead of me picking it up 2 months later, Scott delivered it to me at our campground. Amazing above and beyond customer service. Thank you John & Scott for making it happen.

Great customer service! I took my bike in for a last minute tune up and they had it ready for me in 30 minutes. The next day at my race, there were no issues with the bike. Very happy with bike masters!!

I own a bike which is about 9 years old - it still worked well but had several problems which make it sometime difficult to ride. Bike Masters took it for a few days and now it rides like almost new ! I was very impressed with the tune up they did, and the very noticeable difference it made when riding. The staff were very helpful, professional and the cost was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend Bike Master for any problems you may be having / they did an excellent job. Took my bike in for a much-needed tune-up and it feels and looks like a brand new bike! Fast and friendly service too. Replaced the chain and free wheel, adjusted the brakes and cleaned it end-to-end.

Extremely friendly staff! Took my girlfriends new roller skates up there because they were too tight to turn and they were kind enough to still help us loosen them even though they only sold and repaired bikes. Will now be taking my bike for repairs to only them.

Scott and everyone there are supper friendly and nice! They helped me and my family out many times with getting us our bikes and the needed repairs in more than a timely fashion! I’ll be getting my next bike from them just because they’ve been soo helpful!

Called three bike shops around town looking for just a quick tune-up and minor maintenance ... one shop quoted me a 2-week wait, the other said they couldnt get to it for at least six weeks. Bike Masters had me in and out in less than 30 minutes and for less than $50. I definitely will be returning for any other bike issues.

Terrible customer service. No communication. After waiting 2 months for a bike that was supposed to be here a week after ordering it we finally gave up. Manager kept brushing us off. Multiple emails sent to owner with no response. We were told multiple times we would receive a call with updates but didn’t get any. So disappointed as this was a Christmas gift and here we are in February.

Ive been taking my bikes there for years. I have taken my bikes to a couple of other shops from time to time just out of necessity but keep coming back to Bike Masters. The Manager, Scott, really cares about the success of the company. The one time I had a less than stellar experience with one of the techs, Scott, who was with another customer, sensed my frustration. He called me within 15 minutes of leaving the store to apologize and to let me know that he would personally handle all of the maintenance himself. You cannot ask for better service. Kudos to Scott and Bike Masters.

I took my damaged wheel in for repairs and John and Zach did a great job for me. My wheel was rebuilt and the turn around time was only a couple of days. The service and workmanship were excellent. I couldnt be happier with the experience.

I rode my bike here today and bought a basket for my bike, $ 50.00 was the total. I asked to use an Allen wrench to put my new basket on my bike and was told no in the rudest way. The worker who sure took my money acted as though I was asking for some great million dollar tool. I looked at him with confusion on my face so he again told me no I could not use the simple L shaped wrench for two minutes nor did he offer to have it put on for me. In this time where so many people are loosing their jobs, if you worked at a small business right now you would think the people willing to pay double the big chain prices for bike parts could be treated like customers and not like someone bothering you. Your welcome for my business today and know I’m not coming back, I will support some other local bike shop next time.

I am a fairly new mountain biker. I bought my first mountain bike here. I will recommend these guys because they never treated me like I had no idea what I was doing. They are super nice and personable while also being knowledgeable and helpful. Because they are much more low pressure, it feels more like walking into a bike repair shop that also sells great bikes/gear instead of a bike store that happens to do repairs. Love my Specialized and looking forward to using their repair/maintenance services.

Was planning to buy biking shoes and cleats. Worker brought out a pair of shoes and cleats. Opened the cleats, took out some of the hardware, and then realized that the shoes were not the right ones. They did not have the shoes, so he put the cleat package back together but forgot some of the hardware which I was unaware.I went to Bike Direct to buy the shoes, brought the cleats along to have them install on new shoes. When he reopened the package of cleats, he found some of the hardware missing. Store did not have the cleats so I had to go back to the original store where I bought the cleats to get them replaced. It was over 25 mile round trip.I went into the store with the shoes and asked for a new set of complete cleats. I asked for some kind of discount on the cleats for the mistake made by the store, and the fact I had to make a lengthy round trip from store to store, but they would not. I did not even receive an apology for the inconvenience.I am a new customer in the store, it is possible I may buy a bike, maybe several bikes, accessories, have maintenance done etc.. in the future. However, the people working in the store do not understand what it means to go the extra mile for the customer. Especially, a new one who may become dedicated to the store. They blamed me for losing the hardware. I can truly say, that I did not lose the hardware.Why would I want to do business with this store in the future if they dont even know how to handle the basic customer service needs. If you are looking for solid customer service, I would not spend money at this store. If you have a problem, mine was very miner, you may be very disappointed.

As a cyclist in Arizona, I do love their selection of goods with great staff and clean environment. Yet, this store is truly for the most hardcore of cyclist. If you are relatively new or selective. The bikes here will seem outrageous due to their hefty prices, an off put for most consumers. As typically most will spend a hundred or so for an average bike, yet if you want something groundbreaking and high performance; then this is a good stop. Especially for their wide range of options.

Couldnt be happier. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. They installed a new chain and adjusted my mountain bike quickly and even showed me how to make adjustments in the future. Will definitely be returning when I need work done on my bikes.

Called and asked if they where backed up to bring my bike in to get it tuned up and was told call back in a few weeks and after that you will have to probably wait a few more weeks. Terrible customer service

These guys are the best. They took care of my wifes flat tire on a Sunday and offered a free tune up at the same time. We bought our bikes there last year before a trip to San Diego. Also had a new seat installed on my bike and tuned it up on Monday. No charge for the seat install (awesome). Very reasonable charge for the tube install on my wifes bike.I took mine out this am.Smooth as glass again.I work in retail and an encouraging word can go a long way.Thx again guys!!!!

They faults advertise. They had a bike on sale on there website. I called to confirm they had said bike at the advertised price witch they said they did. So I drove 40 min to buy it and they told me it was mistake and not for sale. They did nothing to make it right. Definitely wouldnt spend a dollar there.

Great shop! I just bought my newest bike on August 28th. The manager Dave S. was very good and took a lot of time to explain everything and let me take a couple bikes out for test rides. My wife and I felt comfortable and they were very thorough with the fine tuning of bike before I took it out of the shop. A couple of items were tagged higher than they rang up. It just shows that they are trustworthy and didnt take advantage of me, as they gave me the best price available. I highly suggest them and will be stopping in there again soon!

I highly recommend this bike shop, I bought a Specialized Fuse Expert there and had a great experience. They ordered the bike for me and kept me updated on shipping details. It was ordered on a Monday morning and I had it by Thursday afternoon the same week. My bike tech David did an outstanding job all the way around. I would definitely buy there again and will be taking my bike there for tuning and maintenance.

Stopped in yesterday just to take a look around. Not sure the guys name that was helping me but he was very nice and helpful even while trying to balance his time between other customers. Will be back for sure!

Decent prices, good location, good selection...........but dont expect them to give a crap about whether or not you get your bike in time for your 11 year old daughters birthday. I paid in full 2 days ago, they said they would email and call today when bike arrived. So far no contact, store closing soon, and anytime I call, they seem disinterested. There are other good bike stores.

Despite what it says on the website, they told me on the phone that they will not change my tube for me. I have a flat and was trying to avoid the mess of doing it myself.

Great guys, didnt charge me much at all for two service items Ive needed on my MTB (both of which were done fast and solved my problems). No idea why another reviewer wrote that they were Absolutely unexceptable..... (might need to revisit some elementary school basics) but my experience with this shop was the exact opposite and Ill definitely go back.

David was very helpful. I am new to cycling and he answered all my questions without making me feel like an idiot. The best part was that I was able to ride a couple different bikes to help narrow down what I was looking for.

I live very close to this shop and try to throw them business whenever I can. However, today when I came in to special order some specialized tires I was told that they would not do that for me and that the owner, Randy, will not allow any special orders to be done even if I offered to pay for the shipping. I Am dumfounded that this location would allow me, a paying customer, who was happy to pay shipping to walk out the door without processing the order for me. Although apologetic, they suggested that I go to one of their competitors up the street. I am a big proponent of supporting your local bike shop and have on many occasions paid more money for parts or bikes in order to do just that rather than giving the money to an online retailer. I will never spend another dollar with bike masters and yes, I will go up the street to their competitor as I was encouraged to do. Absolutely unexceptable treatment to a paying customer in my opinion.UPDATE: owner reached out and provided a perfectly acceptable explanation - I appreciated the follow-up!

The problem with this Bike Masters, is that they cant keep good employees. Last week, I took my bike in because my chain broke after a months use following a major tune up at Bike Masters. They refused to replace the chain and instead tweeked my back derailer and installed the same chain. Well, I just wrecked my bike because my back derailer jammed and the chain broke.I bought three bikes at this Bike Masters within the last three years: mine and two for my kids. I did not recognize the two teenagers who I dealt with, but they were rude and incompetent.

The guys here were very friendly,very helpful, and they were informative without being pushy.

Went in to try on shoes. First of all, poor selection. Second of all, the employee wasnt very helpful. Lastly, only the display shoes were on the floor so I just walked out of the shop. Probably wont be coming back
