This store is a rip off. Double check your meat orders before leaving this store because they rip you off on the meat quantity. After my meat purchase I came home and the quantity of the meat was less than expected. I ordered 5lbs beef with 1lb bags but I realized the 1 lb bags only had half lb beef which is half pound less. So beware of this scam. I will never shop here again!

Best value for products. Excellent customer service. You will find the difference between this stores high quality fresh meat and other stores stupid frozen meat. The best DESI all shop stop you could ever think of. Been a regular customer since couple of years now. Keep it going Al-Hijrah, Kudos for keeping the quality consistent.

This supermarket is generally well stocked and there is a parking garage. Their selection is nice. Products are unique and decently priced. Very accommodating and helpful staff.

I have been Al-Hijrah customer from past 12 years. They carry best quality of meat, chicken, lamb, beef and Steaks with prefect cut pieces as per my desire (zabiha Halal). In my opinion quality is what matters based on what you are paying. So no compains on what they are charging. Their customer service is the best, Brtoher Asif patiently takes down the order over the phone and offers what all new items he has and call out the items asking do you need this or that which is the biggest plus point that way I get everything ready at once and not forgetting. Brother Asif and one more guy in front helps out and always has smile on their faces. Though the place is small, but carries all the stuff Indian/Pakistani groceries.

I would give this store 0 stars! Sold us expired yogurt that was 2 months old!!!! Not only there is a pandemic happening but the whole family had to deal with stomach poisoning! Save your money and do somewhere else. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, Unhygienic filthy Store! He might be good at cutting meat but the food department definitely needs help-these people do not know how to run a business!

It was good service. Nice courteous staff, and good level of service.

Stay away. Although the staff is friendly and the fact that the meat they have is halal are the only 2 things going good for them. We have tried the meat on 3 different occasions, all 3 times it was a huge disappointment. The meat is not meat, its all fat and bones which they usually weigh and drive up the price. All 3 occasions we went back and explained this issue to which they said they have no control over. Each time we spent atleast $200 for meat and groceries and it was a big disappointment. They are also more expensive then other nearby halal meat stores. Take my advice and drive the extra mile to get your meat.

The store is way too small and chaotic. There isnt even room to look for your items. I also tried to order meat, but the guy at the counter was telling me ridiculous prices and acted like he couldnt give me 3lbs of lamb. Wont be returning.

Very professional staff serving Glendale Heights and surrounding suburbs with All Authentic Zabiha Halal fresh Meat and Chiken. All indian and pakistani Groceries available very small place but has everything you need like store atmosphere so far never has to complain going this place for minimum 3 years.
